Hitchcocktober 😱 🔪Day 31: Vertigo 💀 My final entry for Hitchcocktober is, of course, Vertigo. Not as lauded at its release, it has since become recognized as the masterpiece that it is, as well as become the one most often listed as Hitchcock's greatest film. It is a gorgeous, effective, melodramatic, noir-ish, psychological crime thriller masterwork, and one of those rare films where every moment and frame is like a work of art. And the use of color, and music, and camera work--well, anyway, what I'm getting at is I like it. So, I guess that's it.
