Talk about why Alexis/Ted is THE otp of all time ever. I feel like the show only subtly scratched the surface of why they work(ed) 🐢❤️🌹👒

You are right, nonnie! They did barely scratch the surface of Alexis and Ted.

The first time they are together, we don't really see them as OTP. When I first started the show, I was convinced Mutt would be Alexis' endgame (glad they pivoted from that tbh). You can tell Alexis just wants a boyfriend. She is not used to being alone. She doesn't know who she is when she is single. And Ted was interested in her so she took him up on it.

Their first break up was good for Alexis. Her breakup with Mutt was also good for her. The differences between their relationships and how she acts around them is another rant for another day but see this set I did for alexisrosedaily.

She found herself alone for probably the first time in a while. And it was good for her! She went back to school. She graduated. She started her PR firm. But she also got to know Ted. Before, she didn't know him. He was her arm candy. But them being friends, she got to know him. She listened to him. She didn't just care about herself anymore. It's not until they became friends that she fell for him.

The second time they are together, they were so perfect for each other. And they both changed and grew so much. They learned from their previous mistakes. Alexis was willing to move for him! Season 1 Alexis would have never. They both supported each other in their dreams. Alexis was okay with Ted moving. Ted was okay with Alexis not moving for him because he knew her dream was to continue with PR.

Their breakup while heartbreaking, was so beautiful. They knew it wasn't the right time for them (although, I still think they could've worked it on. Dan Levy, looking at you).

I truly believe that after Ted gets back, he finds Alexis and they live their dreams together.
