it shouldn’t be shocking, but alexi is honestly just stunned into silence for a long moment. he’s not good at soft, mushy things like this. his family isn’t good at soft, mushy things like this. but he knows his friends love him. or at least he knows they probably did before all of the bullshit. “…even though i make it difficult?”

“i’m not going to say you didn’t fuck up because you definitely could���ve handled that better, but i don’t think you’re the only one who fucked up. i just think your fuck up was a little more obvious and that’s why everyone is being the way they are,” she tells him. honestly, it’s starting to piss her off the way everyone is acting like alexi is the only one to blame. “i think leo’s trying to stay neutral, but i don’t know for sure, we haven’t talked about it much. and you don’t have to worry about finding out what would happen without me because i’m not going anywhere. you’re stuck with me, lex.”

“…i think i really fucked up this time.” jasper is never going to forgive him. he knows that for sure. dude can hold one hell of a grudge. “i don’t even know if leo is on my side right now. …but thanks. i’m, y’know, bad at this shit. obviously. but i love you, too. don’t know what i’d do without you, az.”
