Quick news blog. Princess Kate is noncancerous. Prince Harry, living in the UK, posted on Truth Social “Powerfulnnz” hoping it’d distract, not realizing he only gets one covfefe. Oh. And David Foster, the record producer, who wrote songs for Celine Dion, Chicago, Michael Jackson, and Whitney Houston has got to be telling Tom: “this fucking guy.”
I googled your Megrez jewelry in looping downtime. Besides the obedient tiaras, she’s worn symbolic necklaces engraved with the initials H and A. I hear you ask: Harry and firstborn? It’s a straightforward threat to Tom with baubles and, for me, an anatomy no-no. Kismet couple.
TEAM H&M: Glad you could join us. I quite understand your backsies flipsies and the highly pretentious “brand” act in the press, paternally speaking. I also get that her co-signed misogyny generates revenue for you. Your client is reinventing herself as a gracious homemaker with her devoted British prince, despite the overseas prince being high-tech famous in sexual assaulting pedophilic circles. I’ll make it clearer to you. Her Hallmark movie, When Sparks Fly, has a co-star: Hank Lyons. Aware of his marital rape clause, she is unified next to diapers; exploited her wheelchaired sister to push Harry’s agenda; and is covered in chokers and an NDA muzzle.
The flipping is off-kilter and widdle old.
Women know she’s not a role model and are hurting themselves.
Girls like Lucy-Bleu Knight, daughter of Meegan Hodges.

A YouTube video titled: Prince Harry (funny roast) Royal Variety Performance. 2015. I say with confidence that it is a suited excuse for Prince Rape to point heavenward at mark 4:26 and to grin at Risky Business, theft, and razors.

The group stood up to rape and the sexual exploitation of Ukrainian women and demanded the release of political prisoners. Her activism paved the way for the term, Sextremism. A painting prodigy, she moved to Paris. July 23, 2018, two months after your wedding, she hung herself.
Ellie Soutter—British snowboarder. She won a Bronze Medal representing Great Britain at the 2017 European Youth Olympic Winter Festival in the snowboard cross. On her 18th birthday, she committed suicide in Les Gets, Haute-Savoie, France. Two months after your wedding.
Maggy Biskupski—French police officer and president of Mobilisation des policiers en colère. Or, the Angry Police Movement. At 36, she focused on anti-cop hate and eradicating cases of internal suicides. Six months after your botched wedding, she shot herself with her service weapon in Carrières-sous-Poissy, France.

Ekaterina Dmitriyevna Alexandrovskaya—Russian-Australian skater; 2018 US International Figure Skating Classic Bronze Medalist and a two-time Australian national champion. Her skating partner was Harley Windsor. July 18, 2020, she jumped out of the 6th floor of her Moscow apt. At 20 years old. Her suicide note said: Lyublyu. Love you, in Russian. Flip it.
Olivia Rose Podmore—NZ racing cyclist; competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 2018 Commonwealth Games. She committed suicide on August 9, 2021. Her last social media post was: “When you don’t meet society’s expectations such as owning a house, marriage, kids, all because you’re trying to give everything to your sport is unlike any other.”
Books published at the same time as your imitation wedding: The Cruel Prince by Holly Black, A Spark of Light by Jodi Picoult, and rising star, Michelle Obama, with her book, Becoming.
But wait. Spain for a royal tour? No. That’s my Felipe VI. He’s a lowly towering 6’6 King and Captain General. Watching closely, through Leonor, his formidable daughter’s press.

“I’m sorry but as an Australian i have to ask, where was the love for Windsor/Alexandrovskaya’s WJC win? They made history and all they really got was 1 or 2 mentions on Aus tv and a shoutout on a few IG pages. I know no one expeced their win but come on, TSL just focused on the music ffs. I’m really salty. (ALSO WHERE ARE THEIR GP SPOTS? THEY'RE CHAMPIONS?)”

Genuinely devastated to hear about Ekaterina Alexandrovskaya's passing. Katia was always an idol of mine from when I first started skating. I was never interested in the stars of the sport, but there was always something about Katia. The way she moved was always inspirating but also how she took the leap to move from Russia to Australia. Her teaming up with Harley Windsor made for an incredible team and I don't think Australia will see a pairs team like them again.
I remember she was having problems and was sad to see Katia leave the sport, so hear she has passed is just devastating news.
My love and support for her family, Harley and the rest of the figure skating community in Australia and Russia.
Rest with love, Katia.

Sad about the Alexandrovskaya/Windsor split.
It's been a tough couple of seasons for them after their groundbreaking junior successes, but I wasn't expecting the partnership to end at this point. Real shame they've stopped working together now.
I now have no Southern Hemisphere teams to root for until either of them re-pair with someone else. And even then I'll still miss this team.
#figure skating#pair skating#ekaterina alexandrovskaya#harley windsor#team Australia#Yes this is the post that breaks my months-long silence#Such a shame they didn't work out after all the promise they showed#Also omg I hope Katia is ok#Sounds like she's injured

Australian skating fans
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a discord for us to chat about skating in general and Aussie skating stuff and share resources (time conversions, links, streams, protocols, news etc)
New Zealanders (hello neighbour!) would be welcome as well!

Short interview with Alexandrovskaya/Windsor after the FS at Skate Canada
Australian team Ekaterina Alexandrovskaya & Harley Windsor landed some good elements in their tango free skate (level 4 triple twist, nice throw triple flip, death spiral). However, they had small mistakes on three jump elements, and their lifts and spin were a bit on the slow side. Ideally, I’d like to see the Australians carry more speed into and out of their elements, as they visibly slow down before some elements. Artistically, their tango program had a studied, step-by-step feel to it; it didn’t really flow or feel very connected to the music. Their PCS marks were mixed, with some scores up in the low-7s, but a handful dipping into the high-5s. Still, they improved on their long program at U.S. Classic, earning a season’s best 106.18 to place seventh in the LP and overall.
Afterwards, the Australians expressed satisfaction with their performance, particularly considering the changes they experienced during the off-season in switching coaches to Richard Gauthier and Bruno Marcotte.
“I think it’s better than our previous competitions. We’re slowly moving forward, and we’re starting to understand now what it’s like to be in senior events,” Windsor said. “But overall, for our first senior Grand Prix, I think it was okay. There’s still a lot of work to do, obviously. I can’t say I’m disappointed with it, but I’m not satisfied with it, either.”
“We had [a] long break after the World Championships,” Alexandrovskaya said.
Windsor concurred: “We started off a lot behind where we should be, in physical form—just because we had such a long break after Worlds, and the whole relocation of coaches and training. I think we’re on the right track. But we’re still a little bit behind of where we want to be.”
Alexandrovskaya & Windsor discussed the factors that led to their decision to change coaches.
“We reached a certain point in juniors. And we wanted to take the next step and really try and move up in seniors and start to become more of a proper senior pair, rather than just juniors who are kind of in the mix. We don’t want to just be participating in competitions, we actually want to be competitive skaters. So we thought that the move here would help us with that,” Windsor explained. “And it’s slowly happening, but it takes time.”
There were some issues with their previous coaching arrangement. “We had a lot of complications after Worlds and Olympics. In Russia, there were a lot of complications with coaching, with ice, with going there with visas, a little bit with the Russian federation,” Windsor explained.
“It was just a whole lot of things that were playing a factor. And it was just a big mess, for a while,” he admitted. “We weren’t sure what we were going to do—if we were going to continue to skate, if we were going to move somewhere. So that’s why we took such a long break, because we didn’t know what we were going to do.”
The team decided to explore other coaching options. “I knew Bruno through competitions previously, and had spoken to him,” said Windsor. “And knew they had a really good track record, obviously, with Meagan [Duhamel] and Eric [Radford]. And I got in contact with Bruno and Richard, and asked if we could come for a tryout sort of thing and see how the whole thing would work. So far, we’re liking the change.”
Alexandrovskaya & Windsor discussed the differences between their previous Russian training style and the Canadian approach. “I think the biggest change is the mindset that everybody has,” Windsor said. “Here, we work a lot more on not just elements, but actual presenting and skating.
“Before, when we were in Russia, it was more just elements, elements, elements. We never really had time to work on the in-between stuff that the top senior pairs do,” Windsor went on. “So that’s why our technique is still a little bit hit-and-miss at the moment. But it’s because we’ve been working so much on trying to commit [to] the program better, and we’ve done a lot of changes to our short and long program. It just takes time to blend everything together. And hopefully by next competition, we’ll improve more—be a bit fitter and a bit more confident with our program,” he concluded.

How did Katia and Harley's partnership come to be?
Okay buckle in because this is a super cute an awesome story.
So Harley started skating pretty much by accident: his mum took a wrong turn one morning and they wound up at the rink, and Harley ended up being pretty good at this thing, so they kept going. Harley competed singles for many years, but he also got very tall (which is not helpful for singles) and was struggling to get all of the jumps necessary to be competitive as a singles skater. (It’s worth noting that this point that while Brendan is the only Australian with a quad, and the only one with a consistent triple Axel, there are probably four or five other men with all their triples sans Axel, so Nationals is actually quite competitive). His coaches decided he should do pairs instead, but they ran into a bit of a problem when they struggled to find Harley a partner.
After a couple of years, with no partner for Harley and him no longer competing in singles, his coaches became really worried he was going to quit, so in a last-ditch attempt, they rang Nina Mozer and said, we have a boy, do you have any girls?” When she said yes, they flew themselves and Harley to Russia for a tryout.
Mozer asked Harley to get on the ice and do several elements (jumps, spins, a bit of footwork) and then said she had three girls in mind for him to try with. Apparently (so legend has it) while Harley was skating, she turned to his coaches and exclaimed “This boy is from Australia?”
The next day they brought Harley to the rink and introduced him to Katia. Now Katia was in a rough patch of her own. Her father had just died, and her last partnership hadn’t worked out. She was also seriously considering quitting. Mozer had asked her to try with this Australian boy just to see. So they got on the ice, and he didn’t speak any Russian and she had almost no English, but she says that when she put her hand in his, she felt safe, like she knew this boy wasn’t going to drop her. So they had a tryout and they seemed well-matched, and it was agreed that they would train together for a little in Russia under Mozer’s supervision before they went back to Australia.
This was October 2015.
After a little while they came to Australia (which Katia described as like going to “paradise”) and they started training here. They competed for the first time at an Australian domestic competition in Sydney in June 2016. I was there for that one and my jaw was on the floor when they did their 3Tw. (I wasn’t alone.)
