8 - What do you think had the biggest impact on you growing up?

Well. Obvious answer is Ysil ruining my life as that is big impact no? Uhh, otherwise probably my sister harmony arguing with entire family to stick up for me. Was hard to grasp at time because I felt so bad for her and blaming self for what happened but she chose to help me. It took me long time to realise people chose to be there for you because they want to be. Shame it took me so long to realise it but it made things much better after everything else.

14 - What are your favourite music genres?

HMM. Hmmmmmm. Hmmmm. I don’t tend to listen to much music.. But I enjoy a lot of wind instruments? They are so delicate but soothing. Pan pipes and ocarina are very nice, can be peaceful to play when just travelling as nature makes best accompaniment.

But also who doesn’t enjoy accordion music, there is something just so bouncy! You cannot help but want to dance. I will always throw some good coin your way if I spy accordion in corner of tavern.

23 - Have you ever had a crush on someone? Do you have a crush now?

Nah no real crushes nowadays, though sometimes that real rugged adventurer type comes into the store and you’re like damn I wish they would whisk me away and we could fight monsters together. But that’s less of a crush and more just. Aggressive daydreaming. In the past— I mean yaknow, yeah.

(Towards the end of this you would notice how she wouldn’t be able to meet your eye and you get the feeling “the past” isn’t as far back as she would like to admit)

7 - Who do you look up to?

If you want the lame answer for sure my brother is up there. He’s achieved a lot and I’m proud of him and yaknow who doesn’t wanna go around knocking in some heads.

Another wise uhh. Oh— Theres this cool researcher who I have a few books of! Her name is Alexandra Ainsworth Lore! She goes around on his huge ship of hers findin all these cool unknown artefacts that people think are legends and— well. FINDS EM. I wish I could do stuff like that, just chartin a course an sailin around lookin for all these wonders. And of course probably getting first dibs tryin em out. I know she puts most of em in museums which is. A little lame but yaknow I think if she hoarded em all she’d probably get some people after her. But what a cool life that must be…

24 - What do you consider your main love language?

Oooooooo boy. Wassit called? Acts of service? I like doing stuff for people. I like when people come home or visit and you’ve just got em a little something waiting like— a smoothie or a new video game. Or just helpin em with whatever, I like goin grocery shopping with people which some folks find weird but it’s nice! Good way to make sure your friends are eatin their veggies tho. Ha! But yaknow spending time together is great too, we don’t gotta do stuff all the time it’s nice just. Being near each other sometimes while you just do your own thing. Maybe sneak a little snuggle in there too whatever you can get away with. I tend to be more vocal than most but yaknow not everyone uses their words which is fine, but I blabber a lot so good luck stopping me callin you nice things! Haha! Even if you cover my mouth you can’t stop me getting you nice things forever.

5. On an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets?

I want to say a dagger but Alexandra actually keeps that strapped to her leg, but her pockets... god that is SUCH a good question. A pinch of garlic in a little bottle is one, she has a phobia of vampires and always wants to be prepared(shes never met a vampire, as far as she's aware)

A little patch of bat fur if she's going out on an actual expedition somewhere.

A compass and maybe a nail file, sometimes her claws snag and she can't stand the idea of a broken claw/nail not being filed when they're like that.

44. How easy or difficult is it for your character to say “I love you?” Can they say it without meaning it?

Oh Jesus. What a question. It is entirely situation dependent on if she can say it or not. The amount of times she's had to hold her tongue before her and Florence figured themselves out was insane, it's easy for her to say it and that was the problem. It feels natural to be spat out when she means it, and ends up telling folks who are closest to her that she loves them sometimes without even fully realizing.

She'll always try to drag an "I love you" out of Quill whenever she leaves after coming into her quarters.

But saying it without meaning it... when she was younger, yes, Alexandra had a lot of issues with feeling like she had to return peoples feelings without considering her own, which did not help the rampant Imposter Syndrome she fell into later down the line; but current time Alexandra? She couldn't, not to folks she cares about, it'd be impossible.

22. What does your character like in other people?

Hmnn. Luther likes folks who are genuinely kind and violently themselves, flaws and all. He loves people who are excitable and loud and can rile him up and make him feel at home- as he comes from a household that was very much like that for the majority of his childhood.

He also likes people who he can have a genuine conversation with! Someone that won't act weird when he starts rambling or gets excited about a certain subject!! He loves talking to people, genuinely a very outgoing extroverted little guy!

Luther might put on a polite front sometimes, with a little joke slipping through here and there, to get on folks' good books. But once you genuinely meet him and he's more comfortable with you that's when you see he isn't exactly the most... ah. Well Behaved and Polite little man.

So, i would share my ocs with you, but i'd like to see yours first, since you often, and with often i mean always, tag em on posts, so i would like to see em if that's ok :3

Oh gosh, first of all thank you! I would LOVE to see your OC's! But secondly hah, oh my gosh which ones!! I tend to tag not just my own OC's but my friends and partner's too! But I tend to tag 3 main ones fairly often, so I can show those!

But first is Quill Hickory, Firbolg Druid and absolute bastard.

Quill is very competitive, bratty and overall just kind of a nightmare socially. Though despite her rather shitty attitude she has a lot of care for the people around her and a lot of the folks she trusts are allowed to see the more softer, dorkier side of her- Especially her girlfriend, Afus, who I also sometimes tag! She belongs to my partner <3 And Setac! Who belongs to a good pal!!!

Some of the stuff in her tag relates to her modern AU iteration and others relate to her just being a young kid as she was far less... Quill as she's known now back then. She also has a thing for wolves/the moon!! Being a wolf is her all time favourite wildshape!

But the other two would most likely be.

Admiral Alexandra Ainsworth Lore, Treasure Hunting Tiefling Rogue and also the mother of Quill here.

Alexandra is... an absolute wildfire. She's been a treasure hunter for most of her life(do not call her a pirate, she hates that term, despite very clearly being a pirate)and has a very large personality despite her small stature. She has a love for... essentially living, loves her wife, Florence (who I also tag as some fun stuff sometimes and ALSO belongs to my partner!) and loves her daughter, for the most part.

She's very talkative, very charismatic and has quite the adventurous spirit; though at times can make rather stupid decisions she's usually very put together! Alexandra my beloathed.

And last but not least is

Luther Knox, Draconic Sorcerer and little bastard rat man.

hLuther is an NPC for an upcoming campaign I'm working on, and he means a DAMN lot to me. He lives with his roommate Jericho, who also also belongs my partner and I will often tag him in things!, on a very tropical island. Luther is very excitable, loves his job, loves his friends, loves his roommate :). He has a very professional almost suck-upish attitude when you meet him at first but there's a clear sense that he also likes to mess around and WILL tease and make jokes with you- He's not stuck up or anything like that.

In the right scenario, he can be EXTREMELY rowdy and excitable and loves to cook!!

Probably the fact that more than 80% of the time when someone sees him for the first time they're like "prey energy" or "i want to hit him i hate him so much". Oz the way you said I somehow made someone with such sleazy energy yet not creepy always sticks with me no matter what.

But honestly the fact he has different colored eyes, I haven't like- elaborated much on those yet but I think they're fun especially because they're subtle.

Hmn. I'd honestly have to say his gloves? They're really dumb and I hate them but that makes me feel compelled to keep them because like of course he'd wear one glove on the WRONG hand since he's left handed.

Honestly her over eagerness and how small she is?? It makes me chuckle to think of her crew being a hassle or really difficult to deal with and then the leader is just this outright tiny ass tiefling with a loud ass mouth who won't stop talking.

Hmn. Aside from getting exercise, Alexandra likes stopping and docking at places with wooded areas, she likes going into the woods and ""practice aim"". Realistically, she gets a great deal of joy and stress relief from throwing daggers into trees very haphazardly, it also makes her feel cool dfgkjh.
