Dear Gus & Magnus,
I like telling stories -- my own, as well as other people's. I told Alex's on LinkedIn, which you can read here, but basically he went to the Air Force Academy to join the gymnastics team, then he became an engineer, and now he's a Spirit of Garver Award finalist, which is why we're here to take his picture today. I asked him if he could do a backflip. He delivered.
Dad.

Admittedly it's taken binge watching to bring it to the fore but it never fails to amuse me just how ship!driven Gina is and how she enjoys participating in the gossip of people falling in love/flirting/getting together.
She is a complete cliché of a trope, God love her! The woman who can't deal with her own feelings/relationships/let most people close to her and who broke up with Adam ONLY because she knew he wanted to have children and she was infertile is also the same woman who loves other people falling in love and can - depending who it is - be the adult version of the kid shoving two dolls at each other shouting "NOW KISS!" She's also the mother of her entire relief of overgrown children police officers.
Early PM Gina is currently shipping Tiny Ears Luke and Kerry whilst simultaneously shipping Craig and Luke. She just doesn't know that her Pet Sgt's mystery man is Luke yet. She only knows that he has BIIIIG FEEEEELLLLIIINNNNGZ for someone (and he's driving her mad that he won't tell her who it is!) and she lights up like this....
... each time she gets some more information out of Craig, especially when she finds out they've kissed. She makes sure to ask him how his love life is and if there's any updates on his Mystery Man almost every single time they chat and tells him to essentially just grab him and go for it! (Later she'll also be the one who finds Craig and Luke in bed together on the morning of Luke and Kerry's wedding and has to run around trying to keep a lid on it as well as deal with the situation and bash Craig about the head for it).
(though how the woman who sees all and knows all has not realised what's going on right under her nose I really don't know!)
She's often teasing - or admonishing Smithy for his bad choices* around women over the years, especially when it's Kerry who to Gina at least has treated Smithy very badly over the last few weeks of her life - including unofficially accusing him of rape and then refusing to decide whether or not she's making it official and almost getting him murdered by Irene and her sons (though she doesn't know that bit which always wrangled with me! Especially as Irene went on to kidnap Gina herself!)
*Let's face it, the only women he's kissed on-screen who haven't gone on to die in a v horrible way (that we know of!) are Cherry from Bad Habits, the irritating shop assistant in A Night To Forget/A Day To Remember and Stevie! (Potentially the nurse in Zero Tolerance but I don't think that went anywhere - at least not onscreen). Ah and not forgetting (sadly!) Kezia.
In the 400's, Rod has just asked June out for a date and Gina is behind the front desk, veeeeeeerrrrry slowly but obviously stepping forward to listen in whilst pretending she isn't and then teases June about it.
She's still teasing her about it like 10 eps on:
And again the episode after that one!
"From Rod is it? Just a friend is it?" "Yeah!" "Yeah yeah!"
If only she'd actually opened up to Jonathan when she'd gone to do so to tell him that she was ready to commit - but then didn't because he was leaving Sun Hill (and only leaving because she wouldn't commit!)😢

List of Official/Official-Adjacent Pacific Rim Media
Here's a list of Pacific Rim media for y'all Pacific Rim fans who want to check out as much of it as possible!
PACIFIC RIM (2013 FILM) Usually considered the primary text of this franchise. Pacific Rim fans mostly agree it's good.
PACIFIC RIM NOVELIZATION BY ALEX IRVINE The novelization of the 2013 film. The book's writer, Alex Irvine, had texts from Legendary Pictures work with, but some of the information was outdated. Furthermore, the book has a cynical, smug tone and comes off like it's written for the type of audience who thinks CinemaSins is actual media criticism. The only thing it's really good for is for scraping out lore, but it's full of contradictions and occasionally uses outdated lore, so you have to compare/contrast it with other materials.
TALES FROM YEAR ZERO Authored by Travis Beacham, this comic explores the origins of the PPDC and the Jaeger program. It's interesting for lore, but story-wise, it might not be engaging if you aren't into Travis Beacham's particular romantic storytelling tastes. Also, if you're a puritan who gets offended when main characters are kinda fucked up people, this isn't for you.
TALES FROM THE DRIFT Authored by Travis Beacham, this comic tells the haters-to-lovers story of Duc and Kaori Jessop, pilots of Tacit Ronin. Mildly interesting for lore, and another romance-oriented story. (Beacham loves those.)
PACIFIC RIM: MAN, MACHINES, & MONSTERS The official artbook. Has some interesting information and lore, though it also contains a few typos and references outdated worldbuilding.
TRAVIS BEACHAM'S TUMBLR After Pacific Rim's release, Travis Beacham answered many fans' questions. While he was often cryptic and straight-up refused to answer certain questions for fear that he'd spoil a future story, he still provided quite a bit of insight. You can visit his old blog at travisbeacham.tumblr.com
PACIFIC RIM: UPRISING Largely panned by fans of the original film. Partway through production, the sequel to Pacific Rim was handed off to another director, and many plot elements were hastily changed with little to no regard for the rich worldbuilding developed by Travis Beacham and Guillermo del Toro, or even story coherency. The film never gives really your brain space to breathe, so it's very difficult to follow the story. Moreover, it misses the thematic and allegorical tones of the first movie, and lacks its occult influences. Overall, it's a hollow followup to Pacific Rim.
PACIFIC RIM: UPRISING NOVELIZATION BY ALEX IRVINE Fundamentally, it's the same story as Pacific Rim: Uprising. The upside is that Alex Irvine's writing is significantly improved, and the story is much easier to follow in novel format. The downside is that you don't have John Boyega's acting talent.
PACIFIC RIM: UPRISING JUNIOR NOVELIZATION BY BECKY MATHESON It's more or less the same as above, but edited down for a younger audience.
THE ART AND MAKING OF PACIFIC RIM: UPRISING The PRU artbook. I've never read this one, so I couldn't tell you what's in it aside from the very obvious.
PACIFIC RIM: AFTERMATH A prequel comic to Pacific Rim: Uprising written by Cavan Scott, Aftermath tells two stories: one focuses on Jake Pentecost and his relationship with his father; the other on what happened to Hannibal Chau and Joshua Griffin (one of Vulcan Specter's pilots) after the kaiju war. The comic makes excellent use of the lore, and the stories are great.
PACIFIC RIM: AMARA A prequel comic that focuses specifically on Amara Namari. I have mixed feelings about it; the mini-Jaeger designs were great but I felt that the actual storyline was a little melodramatic. I dunno, read it for yourself and see what you think.
PACIFIC RIM: ASCENSION A prequel novel to Uprising by Greg Keyes, this story gives life and focus to many characters who didn't get a lot of attention, including the Kaidonovskys and the cadets. Mako Mori is given the narrative respect she deserves, and Hermann Gottlieb's characterization is top-notch. The author makes use of the lore provided by Legendary Pictures to weave a rich and fascinating narrative that puts the actual Uprising film to shame.
MAKING OF/BEHIND THE SCENES VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE There's a number of videos out there on YouTube, which you can find by searching up.
PACIFIC RIM CONCEPT ART There's quite a lot of concept art out there. You can start here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, or search Pinterest or whatever search engine for Pacific Rim concept art.
PACIFIC RIM: THE BLACK A cash grab produced by Netflix, The Black disregards Pacific Rim's rich worldbuilding and follows bland, generic cartoon protagonists through a bland, generic cartoon plot loosely - loosely, mind you - based on the films. It tries to be dark, but it has all the skill of a sixteen year old edgelord about it. Also, the production values are nonexistent. You will miss absolutely nothing worthwhile by skipping over it. If for some reason you really want a Pacific Rim story where child soldiers are framed as a good thing, just read Pacific Rim: Ascension. If you want dark, watch Pulp Fiction or From Dusk 'Til Dawn. If you want a story where somebody makes a religion out of turning people into monsters, watch Midnight Mass or play/watch a no-commentary playthrough of Resident Evil 4 or 8. If you want an AI that looks after two stranded children, watch 3Below. Seriously, there is nothing The Black does that something else doesn't do infinitely better. "But most of these aren't Pacific Rim stories-" Wrong. Any story can be a Pacific Rim story if you're not a coward. And just about anything is a better Pacific Rim story than The Black.
PACIFIC RIM: BLACKOUT Prequel comic to Pacific Rim: The Black. Haven't read it, but it's written by the same guy who wrote Aftermath so it's probably a sight better than The Black.

c3x21 the dead pool I think
everyonehasthoughts, if you're reading this, I tagged you with this: "btw shout out to @/everyonehasthoughts for reading a fic I was feeling unsure of!" when thinking about alex conrad & rick castle
Who would go swimming at night like that???
kindness : ) U better have asked beckett...
RC: Come on he's a writer, how much trouble could he be?
Food poisoning? He Should Not Have Been Swimming
It's a 6am swim practice & this boy was up at 1.30 swimming? Did he wake up early or stay up late? When does he sleep?
Oh there's an aussie
...Where do babies come from? Remembers her last name too? Wow Beckett lowkey checking him out
Interesting view of the morgue
We see montgomery's eyes a little bit teary. He must really care abt this case. I mean I get it, the poor mother. This is one of the best mom interview scenes we've had.
RM: It says here she's 5'2", you really think she can overpower Zack? KR: Uh, no, but her brothers could. In Grand Irish Tradition, she has four of them, each over six foot, (he says grand irish tradition while standing like 5'8" with three older sisters) each with his own claim to fame: KR: Assault. RC: Ooh KR: Ag assault (aggravated assault) RC: Bad (RM looks at castle making a comment for every one; if it's a long list it's going to be a lot of comments) KR: ADW (assault with a deadly weapon) RC: Eee KR: Battery RC: Mm KR: Assault on a city employee parking enforcement RC: Doesn't count (so valid bestie) RM: Easy KR: Dude KB: (just looks at him) RC: I.. just jokes! (acab bro) RM: RC: RM: ! RC: ..
ew steamed chix breast with no seasonings. Bodybuilders are just like that huh. (when does he sleep? wakes up for 6am swim team, stays up at night until 1am doing what he does & swimming...) Idk some scary looking guy. They went at it. Me, after hearing her say she thought he was with another girl: THEY WERE DOING WHAT Girl you might be able to say NOT a certain accent. Not british, not australian, not east asian, not baltimore, but you don't know what it IS?
... Does beckett have a sticky note pad of... dead people? wtf? Yo espt's outfit today! It's a maroon/burgundy shirt, button up, collared, but it has nice pockets, interesting fabric block placement, & even little straps that go atop his shoulders. Espt & Castle are doing the "build off of each other" thing that caskett does. Did those two have some offscreen action? (won't clip but I love the way they look at each other)
THEY USED TO HAVE WHAT RACES I'm so glad I live up north, it is not even that far north tbh... Remember Norman Jessop & how he helped crack the case by saying that the door was not locked? Yeah. Maybe they trashed the place before he was killed, you don't know! Wait a dental pick? Right after I mentioned Norman Jessop? I literally brought down my finesse picks (which look like dental picks) downstairs TODAY & practiced my lock skills! I have a real pick set too but I wanted to try out the carving/dental picks. (btw I am not a criminal, I just read a tumblr post once about some guy who got back into his office & impressed a girl & I wanted to impress girls too.) Oh come on the ones who trashed his apartment would have seen that! RC: Only one thing I know of comes in vials like that. Me: pee? RC: Steroids
Bro it's designer. & u can detect it if u specifically look for it. Why does Dr Parish know that? Also where is perlmutter?
WOAH OK DID THIS GUY GET BEAT UP IS HE DRUNK OR IS HE HUNG OVER? IT'S THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY WHAT? SO HE EITHER GOT BEAT UP OR IS DRUNK & EVEN THO HE'S A COP ASKING AROUND FOR THE SISTER'S MURDER CHARGE I FEEL IT'S JUST AS LIKELY HE'S DRUNK. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY. (Ryan comes in all banged up & shabby looking. His tie is way off to the side, he looks like he hasn't slept properly in a week, his posture is struggling, his shirt cuffs are hanging out from his coat cuffs, his eyebrows are very low, & his jacket has a rip in it.) KR: Well, she wasn't lying about her brothers. JE: *leans back to get a better look at this man* RC: *sees ryan then looks harder as his face deepens its concern* KR: Talked to all four of them, JE: *looks his partner up & down* KR, putting his tie back on properly: one Irishman to another, JE: >:| KR, voice dropping in pitch as he stares into the distance: & another. JE: *raises eyebrows at castle & beckett* KR: Anyway, they alibied out. They were in New Paltz when Zack was killed. KB: All of them? KR: Mm. (confirmation) KB: For what? KR: KR: They were at a sporting event, of-uh ...sorts. *immediately turns around to walk away* KB: Which was? KR: *licks teeth to stall* KR: Leprechaun toss. *looks immediately to esposito* Don't. ask. (JE & RC share a look & try not to laugh) (a leprechaun toss from what I hear is where you take a little-person & literally throw them as far as you can. Usually into a mattress.) KR: Anyway, the, uh, older brother, he got *notices rip in jacket* first place. KR, toying with the shoulder of his jacket which is falling off at the seam, voice jumping literally an octave like I measured: Oh, man. KB: *trying not to smile* RC: Well, the merits of Irish culture aside, KR: Hey. >:( RC: Sorry & then when beckett asks ryan to do smth he doesn't answer with words, he just raises a fist. Like holy crap this poor man, what happened to him? That's a deleted scene I Want To See!
When did they learn that half the time he was leaving w/o his gym bag?
Ooh alex conrad! AC: *gives a good idea* RC: *proud of him* KB: AC: Well that's just me idk RC: don't worry it takes experience KB: no u'r right uwu uwu Keep in mind, she is also in a romantic relationship as well as being your so called muse.
five to ten in mythology jail Hold on he had a book called dead serious & his new book is called seriously dead? this is a game of concentration; category is plants: WEASEL This is like when Gracie came back & was hella goth
An edible way of saying thank you so much for last night? JE, walking by (beckett is talking abt the case) JE, stops when he sees the Big Basket of Mini Muffins (Beckett is mentioning smth that must be done) JE: Oh how about I run it down? KB: Thanks JE: yeah, *takes the file from her & one of her muffins* *looks at castle guiltily really quick before walking off* RC: Muffins KB: Mhmm, Alex Conrad sent them to me. RC: *drops the muffin immediately & it just falls to the floor* Girl she is literally in a relationship with josh rn wait no wait he meant "got together" in a normal sense not "Got Together" in That sense. & then she stretches Like That???
Ryan outfit update: Maroon sweater, doesn't look too loosely woven & not fraying/fuzzy/wooly, long-sleeved, high vneck; warm navy blue dress shirt; maroon tie. (Oh & later on he gets a grey jacket too, decently light) Castle's outfit is valid but kind of ugly, I don't like the shirt Oh no not an underground website mr castle (& then ryan in the background playing with the medical thing, showing beckett while castle makes a search on someone's computer, idk whose computer tbh) Ryan just.. letting the thing expand around his fingers for no apparent reason
Tommy Marcone is actually not all that wrong. He's dead; nothing u can do abt that now. Hey tommy, smart observation! *drops a hundy for the house & for the bartender, tip for a tip*
They have printers right on their desks eh? Ok but my question: Whose desk is whose? Does rysposito sit back to back or across from one another? does beckett have someone who sits across from her & uses that computer?
Oh nice, the boys made it & got the other side! Just in time! Kinda f'ed up the cops go into this business (probably at least partially legitimate) & just start waving around guns. (of jail in this country is vacation? That is the point. Vacate. Jail is to get dangerous people out of society NOT a punishment.)
NICE CAR!
Tommy is so right. RC: Like a dead mobster in the trunk? Just like that last episode! I like Tommy. He's cute
I don't like brian. He looks like he's made of plastic. He looks hella douchey. Wow that line was rehearsed Oh that line? It was the dad (hold on, the car guy has the accent but he is not the one supplying the eastern-european drugs)
Ryan my man! Already has the information needed! Reminds me of george crabtree. Since he got convicted (falsely but voluntarily) he couldn't make detective even tho he already had everything that murdoch asked him for. Ugh it was so sweet I want to cry. & he literally says follow the money like brax in his line: You practically need an MBA to follow the money RC: Especially in today's competitive market Me: it's like that movie where the assassins try to unionize! (great movie btw)
Woah & outfit update on esposito, man's got a lapelled jacket with a hundred pockets! Tho his shirt idk. Long sleeved dark reddish brown, a few buttons at the top, no collar. Jeans too.
Poor tommy. I love him sm. Probably bc he's cute & I like his tone. If he had a different tone then I'd likely be so mad at him
Girl she's right. it IS about how fat someone's wallet is. With power & influence & money you can get away with a lot of illegal stuff, even if they catch you. it's sad.
They got milkshakes or smth?? Is "struck out" a good thing or a bad thing? We struck out! that shot in the dark we sent hit & we got the info we needed! Ugh, we struck out. that last bat was another miss & we don't have any info. Nice laptop Not the one phone call, that was a dozen but they were all to one guy.
Hypothetically.
Why did they direct Ryan to sit? Is it to make him look Baby?
First names : ) Alex Conrad really does look like mini castle Like a piece of meat.
Oh right. May his memory bring joy to all who remember. I like how he pushes the chair back in I hope this boy knows how to play poker Treading water lol dead serious lol, that's his book title Guys cut him some slack lmao 23 more
No no no not the coach Audio changed whoa wow ok then
No no... no not the cologne guy BRO DON'T SEARCH HIS APPARTMENT HWITHOUT TELLING HIM HE HAS A RIGHT TO SEE THE WARRANT. No... (even tho guy on the cereal box comment was funny)
B plot much? Yeah u were p hard on him. Admitting to his jealousy! This is legit & beautiful & honest. I'm glad you at least feel bad about it castle
Wait are they discussing the torture from a few episodes back? Wow their pride (& I'd expect trauma) really healed fast. Except that ryan says: "& then he said, 'they used to do this to me for talking in class' " except ryan was the one to say that in the first place. (also ryan's outfit is kinda weird. blue/yellow gingham type patterned shirt, collared & button up at least, no tie tho, sleeves rolled up.) (& beckett looks good in a turtleneck) Riker's? That a prison? (is that why kate says don't feel bad or is it bc she set him onto the boys for muse?) RC: Will you still send me your writer's draft? AC: Yes as soon as I change the killer RC: Girlfriend? AC: Rookie mistake. btw shout out to @everyonehasthoughts for reading a fic I was feeling unsure of! (ryan & alex get going while espt hangs back) JE: So a dude can be a muse, right bro? I mean it isn't weird or anything,, is it? RC: No, it's not weird KB: No JE: No, yeah *walks off to catch up with his friend & the guy who is asking him abt stuff for a book* RC, quietly: It's a little weird KB: yeah me: mostly bc it seems like they are competing for his attention ACH IT'S ANOTHER ALWAYS
that's just so sweet
(btw I need a fic now where alex can't tell if they are lovers & things get awkward)
Ok so I went thru & grabbed some clips. I actually watched the whole thing while harvesting my pennycress. Well I listened & when smth worth clipping came up then I'd clip it. Usually I watch it sped up until I get to the points i want to clip, but I struggled to find parts I wanted & I was penny-cress-ing anyway

Violet Jessop (histoire vraie)

Pop Punk Band Member Names
So a while ago, I made a sim inspired by 2000s pop punk singers. When it came to deciding on his name, I got in that mood I tend towards where I spend way too long doing very meticulous searching/organizing in order to find names of real pop punk band members that I could mix & match until I found the perfect one.
This list isn’t as interesting as some of my other name lists, cause it’s just basic white boy names lol but... that’s what I was looking for when I made the sim that inspired this list so gkdjfhdsddfdhng

8 Books About Starting Again
Spring always makes me think of new life, brighter days and a time to shake off some of the darkness of winter. So, naturally I love reading books about people taking a leap into something new. Whether that be a new place, new hobby or new perspective, there’s something magical about the ‘newness’ of a fresh start.
All of these books feature characters who are leaving (or trying to) behind a past that wasn’t good for them and stepping into a new chapter, whether they know it at the time or not. Some of the changes are life-altering, some are more subtle but all of them are profoundly satisfying and uplifting.
I hope you find something here of interest to you this Easter. Have a good one!
-Love, Alex x
Rachel’s Holiday by Marian Keyes.
Rachel Walsh is a hardcore party girl but her family are concerned. She only agrees to check into rehab because she has heard it’s full of jacuzzis, rock stars and relaxation. But Rachel doesn’t see the wave of shame and heartache coming her way and it could change everything. While this book deals with some very dark topics, Keyes is the queen of wit, so it is also packed full of humour and heart.
Circe by Madeline Miller.
Circe is a strange girl, unlike either of her parents in the house of Helios. So, she seeks out the company of mortals where she discovers she has a power -the power to transform humans into beasts. Zeus banishes Circe and her threatening power to the island of Aiaia, where she hones her talents and comes across many mythical heroes and monsters. But a woman living alone is a danger to men and they may just come knocking at Circe’s door. Circe’s new start is thrust upon her but her power and strength blossom after her exile. This beautiful story depicts the unwavering, unbreakable spirit of a woman with a light that just won’t go out.
The Switch by Beth O’Leary.
Leena has been asked to take a sabbatical from work in the city after a panic attack. Her grandmother Eileen lives in a sleepy village, is newly single and wants to find love again. Leena needs somewhere quiet to calm down while Eileen needs to be around eligible bachelors, so it seems common sense for them to just switch lives for a while. Full of lessons, love and community, The Switch is a heartwarming, romantic book with wonderful characters.
Life After Life by Kate Atkinson.
In 1910, Ursula Todd is born but dies almost immediately. On the same night, she is born again and goes on to live an extraordinary, unconventional life. She continues to die again and again as the world charges towards the devastation of the Second World War. Does Ursula’s strange existence give her the power to stop what’s coming? This slow, sprawling novel explores choice, the various faces of death and the question of what you’d do with a second shot at life... or a third... or a fourth.
The Authenticity Project by Clare Pooley.
Eccentric artist and loner Julian Jessop doesn’t believe that anyone is honest anymore. So he writes his own truth in a little green notebook and leaves it in a local cafe. Cafe owner Monica adds her own entry to the notebook and leaves it in a local bar. As more and more strangers add their own honest truths to the notebook, The Authenticity Project flourishes and brings together members of a community in a celebration of honesty and being your authentic self. This uplifting, inspiring book is about re-introducing yourself in the warm light of honesty and entering a new way of living.
The Brilliant Life of Eudora Honeysett by Annie Lyons.
Eudora Honeysett is done with life and wants to be in charge of how it ends. But then, a fun-loving, eccentric 10-year-old called Rose and her mother move in next door to Eudora. Together with recent widower Stanley, Eudora and Rose form an unlikely but beautiful friendship and Eudora realises that perhaps life isn’t quite over for her yet. Charming and joyful, this book celebrates the magic that new friendships can bring and the warmth of realising that happiness can still seek you out when you least expect it to.
The Midnight Library by Matt Haig.
Nora is about to end her life at the age of 35. After downing too many pills, she awakes in a room full of books. The school librarian that she remembers from childhood is there and she tells Nora that each of the books on the shelves contains a version of Nora’s life. All of them are Nora’s story and she has a choice about which one she chooses to live. With a unique, fascinating concept, The Midnight Library is about choice, self-discovery and re-learning to fall in love with life again.
Evvie Drake Starts Over by Linda Holmes.
Consumed by grief following her husband’s death, Evvie Drake rarely leaves her house. When her best friend Andy invites his childhood friend Dean, a former baseball player who is struggling, to stay in order to make a fresh start, connections are made. Evvie and Dean both need to deal with their past heartbreaks and step back into life. Romantic and hopeful, Evvie Drake Starts Over is a sweet, small-town story about finding happiness again and realising that if you let it, love will always be there for you.

Christmas Open Results 2021! You are never sure what kind of weather will greet you in December, at 2am Friday morning the course was white over! However a bit of rain and rising temperatures by 7am it was clear. The format changed for 2021 with it being a Texas Scramble and prizes available for both mixed and non mixed teams. Sarah Dawson, Chris Perry, Julie Currie and Ros Harrop shot a net 57 to take second place in the mixed. This score was matched by Kathy and Alex Grieve, Lizze Claridge and Chris Foster but with a lower score around Badgers Sett to seal top spot on count back. The non mixed was also tight with the top four teams separated by just one point! Finishing 4th and just missing out on prizes was Harry and Tom Harrington, Dane Pearce and Graham Luke with a nett 53. Sam Jessop who has won this competition before captained his team to a net 53 but a lower gross score on Badgers Sett sealed 3rd place for them. The top two were also separated on countback Heather and Ian Pringle along with Gary and Sian Hawes shot a nett 52. This was however beaten by Jack Martin’s team who had a lower gross score on Badgers Sett. It was great to see Jack’s team get the win as supporters of the event for many years. A massive thank you to everyone that supported the event . A big thank you to George, Sally, Claire and Ellie for keeping everyone fed and watered throughout the day. Have a great Christmas and New Year. Dave and the CMGC Team.

Looking into Sara’s eyes was like looking into a mirror: sad, lost, pathetic Rachel Jessop’s eyes. Faith only took mere seconds to glance her over, and she knew that Sara was lonely, vulnerable, a wounded deer ready to be nursed to health to join their family. Hannah was all wrath, the sin drowning her, fueling her bloodstream. Worthless, too much time involved. Alex was too engulfed in pride. Had barely even took the time to look at him, and already faith knew that his sin was choking him. Joseph preaches everyone is worthy of atonement but Faith knows better. Her angels are those worthy of atonement, those worthy of walking the path. Alex, at first glance, was not ready. Would never understand what it is she offers him: paradise.
But Faith was wrong. He is prideful, he is stubborn, but he is so close. Every moment shared in the bliss, every sin carved into his skin from John. He fights, and he fights, but soon he will give in! She can see it in his eyes, the same glint of sorrow she had found in Sara’s own irises.
❝I have faith in you, Alex. That you will join, you will walk the path. All of this,❞ she gestures to the bliss surrounding them, the scars on his flesh, ❝Is only just a test from the father.❞
