Alessio Albi is a photographer based in Italy. He originally not intending to pursue photography professionally, has crafted a remarkable portfolio of mysterious and dramatic portraits of women. Through his love for the art, he stumbled into a thriving photography career while also balancing his work as a nutritionist. His photos, characterized by stunning natural environments and powerful compositions, are both simple and profound, showing his strong sense of detail, color, and light. Each image captivates viewers with its ability to find beauty in both natural settings and unique faces.

The first photo shows the environment of the model. The interplay of light and shadow, cast by sunlight shining through the curtains onto the background behind the model makes this photo more interesting. What I particularly like is the effect of warm colour sunlight illuminating the model's dress which made in white gauze looks like it's glowing. Despite the model's face being in shadow, the reflection of light from the dress creates some weak lights and shadows, rendering her features more three-dimensional.

The second photo is in black and white, and it uses a diagonal composition. Light coming from the left side onto the model, casting lights and shadows on her. The dark background accentuates the illumination on the model's face, and draws my attention to her eyes, which convey strong emotional expression despite being in shadow.

The third photo employs cooler tones and high contrast between light and shadow. The light is coming from the front of the model, while shadows of the vase and plants between the model and the light, cast shadows on the model, especially her face. The background is in shadow, further highlighting the subject. What I particularly like in his photos is the eye contact of the models. They always convey profound stories and emotions.
