In no particular order. BE CAREFUL! There can be spoilers! 1. Brynden Rivers (A Song of Ice and Fire): I have a thing for characters that always seem to be several steps ahead of everyone, and Bloodraven is one of those. A master strategist, rumored sorcerer shrowded into mystery, ruthless King's Hand, Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, greenseer, skinchanger, spymaster... Plus, he sacrificed his honor for the greater good. Oh, and he's a Targaryen! 2. Motoko Kusanagi (Ghost in the Shell): I haven't read the original manga, but in all the movies, episodes and OVAs, the Major is always a smart leader, a fearsome fighter and a master hacker. I do not usually like cyborgs, but Motoko's badassery defies categorization. You better don't fuck with Major Kusanagi. 3. Monica Rambeau (Marvel Comics): I also have a thing for characters so powerful that evil masterminds have to elaborate a whole plan for the sole purpose of taking them out of the picture; Monica Rambeau is that powerful and cool. She can transform herself into any form of energy within the electromagnetic spectrum, which includes the powers of intangibility, invisibility, throwing energy blasts, flight... And she also has leadership skills and is a good hand-to-hand combatant, with a lot of experience in superheroic matters. Plus, she's an afroamerican woman. It's a pity she's still considered a second-class heroine; for me she'll always be the one and only Captain Marvel. 4. Zidane Tribal (Final Fantasy IX): I love Zidane since the moment I knew him, partly because of the contrast with previous Final Fantasy protagonists. Cloud and Squall were quiet, edgy, emo-like tormented heroes, and I hate that. Zidane is a rogue, he's funny, he's in a band of kind thieves, he's good-hearted... and he has a monkey tail! 5. Alessa Gillespie (Silent Hill): Almost all about Silent Hill fascinates me, and maybe Alessa does over everything else. Innocent, misunderstood abused child with vast psyquic powers, capable of creating a reality full of nightmares in the town that treated her so badly. She also endured years of physical and mental pain with adamant willpower, and yet she's still selfless at heart, caring about good people and dreaming for a better world full of love. Gotta love her. 6. Edmond Dantès (The Count of Monte Cristo): Yes, I love characters with astounding amounts of willpower, so Edmond Dantès fits me perfectly. He's also some kind of justice cosmic force, punishing evil ones as they deserve, but also helping good ones. He's also a master planner so, again, characters that always seem to be several steps ahead of everyone... 7. Frau Totenkinder (Fables): Did someone say master planners always several steps ahead of everyone? Totenkinder is also an extremely powerful and clever witch. Oh, and I also have a thing for very, very long-lived characters; Frau Totenkinder has seen a lot, has done a lot, has many names... She's a fascinating and badass grandma. 8. Itachi Uchiha (Naruto): Apart from his very cool Sharingan powers and so, Itachi sacrificed his honor and his name in order to save Konoha from a coup d'état. Plus, he spent years infiltrated in the most dangerous ninja criminal gang, and his comrades didn't have a clue of his true agenda. Itachi may not be the most powerful character in the Naruto universe, but he's the better ninja without a doubt. 9. Andrea (The Walking Dead): We're talking about the comicbook character here. Andrea was not badass out of nowhere, she begins as a regular woman, and becomes cooler and cooler when circumstances require so, ending as a skillfull sniper — I like snipers —, tough as nails. She also has a sick scar, sample of how tough she is. And you see, specially when she becomes romantically involved with Rick, that she's still a woman, a person, not just a killing machine with no depth. 10. Atsuko Kagari “Akko” (Little Witch Academia): Yes, another character with endless willpower... Akko wants to be a witch more than anything in her life, and she doesn't give up even if it seems that destiny doesn't want her to be one. Although frustrated, she never stops smiling, encouraging and helping other characters in whatever she can. She's like my spirit animal. Plus, she's so cute I could die. I’m supposed to tag 10 people, but whoever feels tagged is free to play the game xD
