If it wasn't Alejandro coaxing him to bed (if he was busy, on a raid, on a mission, training, doing something, then Valeria would be with him. She has his head in his lap, stroking dainty fingers and manicured nails through Rudy's curls. She holds him gently, hand on his bare shoulder, his ribs, his thighs, as far as she can reach to remind him that there's someone in bed with him.

She would kiss him softly, cup his face between her hands. Rudy adored her, having no choice but to indulge his girl with kisses and cuddles.

When Alejandro's not in bed, which is often now, Rudy finds himself alone and wanting. He can't sleep, it's physically impossible. He craves having something keeping him to his bed, chains of limbs and heat, a siren song of warmth.

Occasionally he will hunt Alejandro down for some sleep, just so his lover can actually have some rest without running himself ragged. It's totally not because he feels lonely and needs someone there.

Sometimes he chooses to go back to his apartment, on a rare night where Alejandro is insistent he doesn't want to join Rudy in bed. Those nights are harder. He leaves his front door unlocked. Window ajar. Dangerous, the hairs on the back of his neck stand.

Rudy waits and he waits, until it's late and Valeria will either climb in through his window, or slip through the crack in the front door like a cat returning home from a long adventure. They don't exchange words, kisses are enough. Rodolfo pulls her into bed, kisses her senseless and fucks her raw, and when she falls asleep on his chest her strokes her shoulder with his fingers and wishes there was an extra weight by his side.

And that everything was normal again.

Random Aledolfo Headcanon:

Rudy doesn't fucking sleep, ever, and if it weren't for Alejandro being an octopus Rudy probably wouldn't stay in bed either, itching to do something more productive, but because Alejandro clings to him, he can't bear to leave his lover cold and alone in bed, so he allows Alejandro's head on his chest and strokes soft fingers through Alejandro's dark hair and thinks instead about all the things he can do protect Alejandro.

CoD Headcannons; AleRudy – Confessions

Both of them probably already sort of know that the other has feelings for them but they're like "But what if I'm imagining things"

Both would think about how to tell the other constantly, Alejandro would probably even get distracted at work by it while Rodolfo gets his work done but a little worse than normally

The first one to confess would be Alejandro, on accident

They'd be hanging out, doing paperwork or something and Rudy would say something to which Alejandro just replies with »God I love you«

Alejandro would just run out of the room afterwards, panicking because he didn't want to just say it and he wanted it to be special

Rudy would take a few seconds to just realize what happened, then he'd try to find Alejandro

Apologies once he finds him, lot's of them, Ale wouldn't stop talking about how sorry he is and how he wanted it to be special, how he hopes Rudy doesn't hate him now etc.

Rudy would just be so fed up with it and either grab Alejandro's face or shoulders to tell him that he didn't mind and that he feels the same

Happy tears from Alejandro, definitely

A few short kisses, not too many so others don't find them in the middle of the hallway

Going back to the paperwork afterwards even though Alejandro doesn't stop complaining about how they should do something romantic instead of work

Thanks for the ask, anon. I'm glad that you enjoy the concept presented in the fic. My headcanons are usually highly connected to the ficverse they're set in so a lot of them won't make a lot of sense without the appropriate background, but here are a few that I can think of at the top of my head. To me, Alejandro and Rodolfo's lives are so intertwined together that it's difficult to isolate parts that solely belong to either of them, so most of these are probably going to be aledolfo hcs involving omega Alejandro and alpha Rodolfo.

Alejandro and Rodolfo grew up together. This is a no-brainer.

Before their secondary sex manifested, everyone thought Rodolfo was going to be the omega and Alejandro was going to be the alpha due to their respective temperament. Ironically, aledolfo themselves cared the least about this because they knew they would be together no matter what. Therefore:

People were legitimately surprised when Alejandro presented as an omega and Rodolfo an alpha. Aledolfo were ecstatic because this meant they could bond and be together forever. Rodolfo's parents were pretty chill about it because again, it isn't like Rudy is going to be with anyone other than Alejandro, so their son's secondary sex doesn't matter much. On the other hand, Alejandro's parents' reaction was... less-than-stellar, to say the least, as he is the only son and being an omega meant that there would be no one to carry on the Vargas line. To please his parents, Alejandro took up the habit of hiding his scent at his home, and this was the first time his exceptional self-control was demonstrated. At first, Alejandro managed to hide his parents' actual reaction from Rudy, but one day it got too much and the dam broke. The next day, Alejandro packed his stuff and moved in with the Parras where he would stay until he joined the military, and the friendship between the two family basically ended overnight.

As all teenagers do, aledolfo discussed in great lengths about their future, and one thing they paid extra attention to was having children. Alejandro had already decided at this point that he would like to join the military and Rodolfo was on the fence, but they agreed that if the circumstances were right and they had enough money saved, they would retire together to make babies. And though they could rely on the Parras for support, they agreed that being their children's primary caretakers would be the best course of action and what they would like to do as well as they couldn't bear the thought of being deployed for an extended period of time and missing their future children's milestones, hence the retirement part and why they wanted to make sure they were financially stable first. Of course, this doesn't happen in the end with their careers and Alejandro being on suppressants + birth control, but the plan is still there in their minds, brewing, reminding them of simpler times with less responsibilities.

Aledolfo bonded towards the end of high school before they graduated. They got married after that and the Parras threw a big party over it. As an olive branch, they invited the Vargases as well, but they didn't show up. This would be Alejandro's last attempt to contact his parents.

Aledolfo debated for a long time whether they should both enlist or if Alejandro should go to the academy to study to be commissioned. They didn't want to be apart from each other for so long, but at the same time, Alejandro's skills and sense of responsibility means that having him simply enlist would be a waste of his talents. In the end, they decided that a short separation would be beneficial for both of them on the long run, hence Alejandro being able to become a colonel while Rodolfo becomes a sergeant major.

Alejandro didn't stop growing until he was 25. Before they left for the respective training, Rodolfo was taller than Alejandro. A few months later when they reunited during a break, Alejandro was taller than Rodolfo. This did not stop Alejandro from curling up into a ball and snuggling against Rodolfo whenever he got the chance to. In his mind's eye, he is always going to be the smaller but angrier omega by his alpha's side, and being physically taller won't change that.

Alejandro and Rodolfo were paired together as soon as Alejandro got his commission. Allowing a bonded pair to command a group of people was still relatively unheard of back then, so this decision was more of an experiment than an actual concern for aledolfo's health. Needless to say, aledolfo excelled at their tasks and Rodolfo himself started showing leadership potential, though Alejandro's omega physiology and his control over his scent meant that there were things Rodolfo would never be able to do when compared to Alejandro. This was fine to him; he knew his omega was exceptional and strong, and there was nothing he wanted to do more than to fight by his mate's side and assist him in kicking out the cartel plaguing their home.

Due to aledolfo's success, bonded pairs are now allowed to serve together in the military as opposed to the old practice where they would be separated. Before, mating bonds were seen as potential weaknesses and sources of bias and conflict, but aledolfo's case proves that this assumption is totally wrong. Turns out, when two people know each other so well that the tiniest microexpression can mean an entire sentence, they are unstoppable. And on a related note:

Alejandro is actually pretty famous within the world of special forces. Although military omegas are more common these days, a military omega in the special forces is still a rare sight because most omegas won't bother suffering through the trials of special forces training just to be assigned to do the same thing as they have always done in their normal posts; in the usual military setting, military omegas are held with a high regard and are given better treatment than all other personnel, while being in the SF means volunteering for the harshest and most thankless jobs, so most people just don't choose this path at all. Therefore, Alejandro being the commander of an SF unit places him apart in both SFs in general and in the field of military omegas. His expertise in manipulating the battlefield and soldiers using his pheromones plus his very personal experience with commanding an SF unit as a mated pair with Rodolfo means that his knowledge is highly sought after and is referenced by militaries all around the globe. If you're a military omega, there's a 99% chance that the skill you're taught was devised and refined by Alejandro throughout the years because he was the one who wrote the book in the first place. So yeah. He's famous not only in Las Almas but all around the world. Alejandro himself is pretty humble about it because he isn't even sure why he got so famous in the first place, but it didn't stop Soap from fanboying over him when he first met Alejandro. Alejandro himself wasn't aware of it because he was so focused on the mission and it was immediately followed by the stress heat, but Rodolfo and Ghost definitely noticed. They think it's cute.

I think this is it! Some ideas I have about omega Alejandro that I can think of right now. Now, guys, my ADHD-ish ass couldn't stop and i started identifying which place in Mexico Alejandro and Rodolfo are from. And here are my conclusions.

First, they're close to the Rio bravo, Wich we know runs in the border touching only four states

Exhibit A: the red line at the left shows the river.

Exhibit B: the red coloured states are (from left to right) Coahuila, Nuevo Leon and Tamaulipas. (The river also touches Chihuahua but i don't really think they're from Chihuahua)

If you zoom in the image at the right, you'll see that there's a small dot of Nuevo leon that touches the river. This takes me to the next point.

Now, in the game, we hear Alejandro say that he'll invite the 141 to una asada en su rancho. And if you ask me that's some Nuevo Leon shit.

So i may present to you my new headcanon.

Las almas is located on Nuevo Leon and Rodolfo and Alejandro are piporros.

CoD Headcannons; AleRudy Mornings (fluff) [please you don't understand they are the air I need to live]

Rodolfo always wakes up first, on the rare occasions he find Alejandro awake the chance is high that Ale pulled an all-nighter instead of actually sleeping

Rudy is the type to get up immediately to 'surprise' Alejandro with Breakfast in bed – even though said breakfast is only a coffee because they eat in the cantine together with the rest of Los Vaqueros

Alejandro definitely is a sucker for the way Rudy wakes him up, soft kisses on his cheek, fingers tracing gentle lines on his arm – Rudy wakes him up like he's in heaven and Ale loves it

Alejandro's standard quote is »Come back to bed, mi amor..« In an attempt to get extra cuddles before they start the day

Rudy always and I mean ALWAYS climbs back into bed with him until they both agree that it's getting time to go actually have breakfast

Ale probably is super attached to Rudy until he's had like his fifth coffee – he downs them like it's water, Rudy is surprised his partner is still alive – afterwards he'll act all smug saying that he was just looking out for Rodolfo and not at all clingy

When I tell you they tease each other the whole time, I mean the whole time. Soft remarks about what the other is doing, gentle tickling, whatever it is, these two do it. They have the most fun teasing each other until the official part of their day starts.

Rudy probably picks out the clothes Ale wears for the day, Alejandro trusts his fashion decisions with his life. Rudy could lay out the most awful outfit and Alejandro would wear it with Pride because he picked it. (Rudy probably did that more than once tbh)

Not to say anything but I actually adore these two, like I'm overly obsessed with CoD as it is but Alejandro and Rodolfo deserve so much love and I have yet to find a good and long Fanfiction with them. (On that note if you want a real sweet AleRudy FF, read My dear Husband (Marry Me again) by your_executioner on AO3 it's so good)

ALEDOLFO Headcanons Part 2

I promised Aledolfo headcanons once chapter 3 of the soap/ghost came out and it is out so here we go:

Rodolfo's favourite thing about Alejandro is the way he goes quiet when he's tired, but his voice always, always, betrays how in love he is with Rudy.

Alejandro fell first, Rodolfo fell harder. Quite literally Rodolfo tripped and on the way down his heart ended up in Alejandro's hands. They joke about it often, since people assume Alejandro did all the pursuing but it was really Rodolfo who wanted to woo Alejo properly.

They alternate cooking nights based on their shifts. If they've both had a shitty mission/op they go to Rodolfo's mom's house for dinner.

Don't believe Alejandro when he says he's the better cook, he believes that good food means half a container of spices.

Not that it's bad, just really really spicy.

Alejandro and Rodolfo have weekly date nights, they usually end up on a Wednesday or Thursday since ops tend to come in on Friday mornings.

Date nights vary from; going out to dinner, a quiet movie, bar hopping, visiting a safehouse to sit on the roof and watch the stars before falling asleep on the blanket Rodolfo remembered to set out, or just laying in bed by 7 at night and holding one another.

They have Mom & Dad mugs and matching shirts from the rest of Los Vaqueros, especially from the younger recruits.

Occasionally someone teases that Rodolfo and Alejandro might as well share the title of Coronel as a joint unit, tbf Rodolfo is just as respected as Alejandro is.

[NSFW] that often leads to Alejandro teasingly calling Rodolfo, Coronel, in the bedroom.

It leads to wonderful results.

Rodolfo pulls, so many bitches and hoes, Alejandro is fed up, apparently the strong silent type with sweet bambi eyes is more popular.

Alejandro would know, he bagged that strong silent type.

Alejandro is the embodiment of that Will + Jada meme where he's just like look at my wife, because all drunk Alejandro can talk about is his gorgeous, intelligent, capable husband.

Their wedding took place in the safehouse. In the barn.

The armoury was Alejandro's wedding gift to Rodolfo, among other things.

Rodolfo got him the truck, among other things.

They wear their rings around their necks, ring fingers have their initials tattooed on the inside.
