Vrillon, an unidentified person claiming to be a member of the Ashtar Galactic Command, hijacked a British television station for six minutes on this day in 1977. After a good bit diplomatic wrangling, the Ashtar Galactic Command apologized for the incident, saying that Vrillon had a bit too much Aldebaran whiskey at the holiday office party.
