I am excited to be part of a New Album’s 💿 Artwork, from The Junk Rumblers’ debut album “Cold Moonlight” is a cohesive collection of original songs with memorable melodies, solid hooks, and catchy lyrics. Their musical style borrows equally from the twang and tremolo of the western songs of the mid-20th century, the slapback and reverb from the rockabilly greats of yesteryear, and the relentless drive and edge of the cowpunk bands of the last century. COYOTE KID Announce Release of 'Skeleton Man'

Minnesota based, cinematic rock band COYOTE KID has announced the release of their hotly anticipated concept album, Skeleton Man. Funded in large part through fan support via a highly successful Kickstarter campaign, Skeleton Man introduces fans to the dark world first revealed in the debut single, "Femme Fatale." https://youtu.be/LrVDFv_CA5Y “The Skeleton Man has been a passion project for us for the last two years. We wanted to build an action/adventure story with high stakes, but that still has universally relatable themes and ideas. Musically we wanted to write a coherent record without any confines to our genre, or the styles we’ve made in the past. We just wanted to be free to take our sound in any direction we wanted, and to try and build an album that will have something for everybody. We also wrote recurring motifs throughout the album that reflect the character’s growth as they change. Trying to make the album feel smooth and coherent, while still leaving the listener in a totally different place then where the album starts.” - Austin Durry - Vocals

The band has also revealed the second part of their Femme Fatale film series, the official music video for their single "Strange Days." Continuing the bizarre death dream of the Drifter character from their previously released short film music video for "Femme Fatale," "Strange Days" was directed by Christopher Behnen. https://youtu.be/FC60Zsfw4hQ “Growing up my mother told stories of her schizophrenic father (my biological grandfather) – stories of sudden outbursts of unstable rage, that all culminated in a kidnapping and hostage situation, 20 years in prison, and eventually his suicide. I only met him once as a young child, but I’ve always had a lingering fear that I could have the same mental illness in me. I think that fear played a heavy role in inspiring this song. We wanted 'Strange Days' to feel like a steady descent into madness. The first verse starts off with a steady jam, but with an unseen, underlying darkness, until the stability unravels into the hard-hitting chorus. The second verse returns to stability, but now with a suspicious twist, until the second chorus hits and takes off into complete mayhem, suddenly snapping down into the creeping darkness of the bridge. We incorporated lots of weird sounds into the bridge: like rustling chains; heavy, metallic breathing through the trombone; and scraping the tops of cymbals; this all around the growing instability of one guitar string slowly being bent up and down. I feel relieved and excited. I can’t wait for these songs to find their way into your hearts, as they have found their way out from mine 🥀it’s always strange to release an album, almost too abstract to comprehend. She belongs to the world now. She is yours.

Learning and reading about our history, about our spirituality and mythology. About people who became the light, and people who became the darkness have been such an interesting journey. And I wonder why everything turned out like it did. Why we decided to put god up in the sky, removing him from the earth. Out of reach, to somewhere far far away.

I want to thank you for all the kind words.
