New news on convenient foreign personnel coming to China released in January📣 The National Immigration Administration has officially implemented five measures to facilitate foreign nationals to come to China📣
Another good news has come recently. Starting from January 11, the National Immigration Administration has officially implemented five measures to facilitate foreigners coming to China, which mainly include:
Relax the conditions for foreigners coming to China to apply for port visas. For foreigners who urgently need to come to China to engage in non-diplomatic and official activities such as business cooperation, visits and exchanges, investment and entrepreneurship, visiting relatives, and handling private affairs, and who do not have time to apply for a visa abroad, they can apply for a port visa entry to the port visa authority with relevant proof materials such as invitation letters.

Simplify the application materials for visa documents for foreigners in China.

By then, people from both sides holding ordinary passports can enter the other country without a visa to engage in tourism, family visits, business and other private affairs, and their stay shall not exceed 30 days. If you enter the other country to engage in activities that require prior approval, such as work or news reporting, or plan to stay in the other country for more than 30 days, you must obtain the corresponding visa before entering the other country.
As of January 25, China has concluded mutual visa exemption agreements covering different passport types with 157 countries, and has reached agreements or arrangements with 44 countries to simplify visa procedures. Comprehensive mutual visa exemption has been achieved with 22 countries including Singapore, Maldives and Kazakhstan. In addition, more than 60 countries and regions offer visa-free or visa-on-arrival convenience to Chinese citizens. A Guide to Applying for an Albanian Visa from the UAE
Traveling to Albania offers a unique blend of stunning landscapes, rich history, and vibrant culture, making it an appealing destination for UAE residents. As a country that has gained popularity among travelers, understanding the visa application process is essential for a smooth journey. This guide provides a comprehensive overview of how to apply for an Albania visa from the UAE, ensuring you are well-prepared for your trip.
Obtaining an Albanian visa is a straightforward process, especially with the online application system available. Whether you're planning a relaxing beach vacation or an adventure through picturesque towns, this guide will walk you through each step, from completing the online application form to receiving your visa. With the right information, your dream trip to Albania can become a reality.
Here are some Albanian visas for UAE residents: A Guide to Applying for an Albanian Visa from the UAE
Step 1: Go to the Albania Visa Portal: The first step in your visa application process is to visit the official Albania visa portal. This online platform is designed to facilitate visa applications for travelers from various countries, including UAE residents. The portal provides comprehensive information on the types of visas available, the application process, and the necessary requirements.
Step 2: Complete the Online Application Form: Once you are on the visa portal, you will need to complete the online application form. This form requires you to provide personal information, including your full name, date of birth, nationality, and passport details. Be sure to fill out all fields accurately and completely, as any discrepancies may lead to delays or complications in your application.
Important Tips:
Accuracy: Ensure all personal information is accurate and matches your passport. Double-check spellings and dates to avoid mistakes.
Dual Nationality: If you hold dual nationality, choose the nationality that corresponds to the passport you will use for travel.
Step 3: Upload the Required Documents: After completing the application form, the next step is to upload the necessary documents. The requirements may vary depending on the type of visa you are applying for, but generally, you will need to provide:
A valid passport (with at least six months of validity from your planned date of entry).
A recent passport-sized photograph that meets the specifications outlined on the visa portal.
Proof of accommodation in Albania (hotel reservations or an invitation letter from a host).
A travel itinerary, including flight bookings to and from Albania.
Evidence of sufficient funds to cover your stay (bank statements or pay slips).
Travel insurance covering your entire duration in Albania.
Make sure to check the specific documentation required for your visa type on the visa portal, as requirements can change.
Step 4: Apply: Once you have uploaded all necessary documents and reviewed your application for accuracy, you can proceed to submit your application. Take your time during this step, as incomplete or incorrect applications can result in delays or rejection.
Step 5: Pay the Visa Fee Online: After submitting your application, the next step is to pay the visa fee online. The fee can vary based on the type of visa you are applying for and your nationality. Ensure you have a valid credit or debit card ready for this payment. Keep in mind that the visa fee is non-refundable, even if your application is denied.
Step 6: Receive confirmation email and application tracking code: Upon successful submission and payment, you will receive a confirmation email containing your application tracking code. This code is essential for tracking the status of your visa application. You can use it to check whether your application is being processed and to receive updates on any further requirements.
Step 7: Await Approval and Receive Your Visa: If your visa application is approved, you will receive your visa via email. It is essential to print out a copy of the visa and keep it with your travel documents, as you will need it upon entering and leaving Albania.
Important Information:
You must have the electronic visa when entering and leaving Albania.
A valid visa is required to board your flight to Albania.
Additional Tips for Applying for an Albanian Visa
Here are some helpful tips to ensure your visa application process goes smoothly:
Plan Ahead: Start your visa application process well in advance of your planned travel dates. Visa processing times can vary, and delays can occur, so it’s best to apply at least a few weeks before your trip.
Children’s Travel Authorization: If you are traveling with children who do not have their own tickets yet, you will need to secure travel authorization for them. This document is necessary to ensure compliance with Albanian entry requirements.
Follow the instructions: Adhere to all guidelines provided on the visa portal, as this will help streamline your application process.
Keep Copies: Maintain copies of all documents submitted during your application process for your records. This can be helpful in case of any inquiries or issues that arise.
Check Validity: Make sure your passport and all travel documents are valid for at least six months beyond your planned date of entry into Albania.
Conclusion
Securing an Albanian visa as a UAE resident is a manageable process when you follow the outlined steps. From accessing the online visa portal to submitting the necessary documents, each phase is designed to facilitate your journey. By being diligent in providing accurate information and meeting all requirements, you can significantly increase your chances of a successful application.
Ultimately, an Albania visa opens the door to a remarkable travel experience filled with breathtaking scenery, historical sites, and warm hospitality. Visa Fee: A non-refundable visa fee is payable in the currency stipulated by the relevant visa application center.
3. The Application Process:
The application process for an Albanian Short-Stay Visa for Indian citizens typically involves the following steps:
Step 1: Gather Required Documents:
Begin by carefully collecting all the necessary documents as listed in the eligibility criteria. Ensure that all documents are original or certified copies and are translated into Albanian or English if they are not in either of these languages.
Step 2: Submit Application:
You can submit your visa application through one of the following channels:
Visa Application Centers (VACs): These centers, often operated by third-party companies, are authorized by the Albanian embassy to receive and process visa applications. Find a VAC in your area through the official website of the Albanian embassy in India.
Albanian Embassy in New Delhi: You can also submit your application directly at the Albanian Embassy in New Delhi. However, this requires an appointment beforehand.
Step 3: Biometric Data:
If required by the specific VAC or the embassy, you will need to provide your biometric data, including fingerprints and a photograph.
Step 4: Pay Visa Fee:
Pay the non-refundable visa fee at the VAC or the embassy. The fee amount and payment methods may vary depending on the specific center.
Step 5: Application Processing:
After submitting your application, it will be processed by the Albanian embassy. The processing time typically takes around 15 working days, but can vary depending on individual cases and workload.
Step 6: Decision and Visa Issuance:
Once the application is reviewed, you will be notified about the decision. If approved, your visa will be issued and attached to your passport. If rejected, you will be provided with a reason for the refusal.
4. Tips for a Successful Application:
Apply Well in Advance: Begin the process at least 2-3 months before your intended travel dates to avoid delays.
Complete the Application Form Carefully: Ensure all information provided on the application form is accurate and complete. Double-check all details before submitting.
Provide Strong Supporting Documents: Make sure all documents are in order and accurately reflect your travel plans and financial status.
Prepare for an Interview: While not always mandatory, be prepared for a potential interview at the VAC or the embassy.
Monitor Your Application Status: Regularly check the status of your application through the VAC website or the Albanian embassy.
5. Visa Refusal and Appeal Process:
While most applications are approved, visa refusals can occur. If your application is rejected, you will receive a notification with the reason for refusal. You can appeal the decision within a specified timeframe by submitting a new application with additional supporting documentation.

|EN| The Privilege of Traveling
Reaching Kosovo made me feel constantly surprised in all possible ways. There is this tiny country, the youngest one in Europe, who declared its independence only ten years ago, and besides all the confusion of its political situation the country seems confused too itself. The people I met were extremely welcoming, I got asked ‘where am I from?’ and ‘why am I in Kosovo?’, in every half an hour just by walking on the streets. Although becoming independent developed a trend within the big brands to get a base in the country, including shops, neonlights, advertisements, everything “America!”- it feels like people are still trapped in their fastly developed but guided by tradition areas.
By talking with the locals it became clear very fast that one of the sharpest issues of Kosovo that by the blurriness about being independent or not, it’s extremely hard to travel anywhere else than to Albania and Montenegro. The younger generation were learning languages fast, and they were seeking for travellers to communicate with, as they can’t leave their country without a long and often declined visa process. Even though Kosovo was the first country where I faced this issue, later on I realized, it’s not a unic case. People from different countries envied me to be able to roam around basically whole continents without painful bureaucratic procedures or major planning of arriving and leaving dates, invitation letters, proof of financial backgrounds or reservations in authorized hotels. Does traveling make me really that privileged? By entering and leaving several countries in the past few month just by showing up on borders and holding a valid passport form one of the member countries of the European Union made me think it’s kind of a natural way of changing location and hereby started questioning ‘why does everyone not do this?’, It’s just so easy. By facing the willingness and inability to travel like the Kosovan friends I had met, I had to realize: nope, I’m freaking privileged again. Traveling to me is everything about freedom, and freedom is the biggest thing I can strive for. I have the freedom of deciding where do I want to be, to who I want to talk with, which culture I want to learn more about. I have the freedom of existing without borders and knowing that there are always places I can return. Traveling also reminds me that I have a backup, a safe place at friends or family in case anything goes wrong. Traveling represents that I’m healthy to be able to be on the move, I have some languages to talk, and I had the ability to go to school to learn not only languages, but things that make me curious about all the unknown. And sadly this is not so basic for many in this world. Traveling means to me the people I meet on the way, the stories they tell me, the way they welcome me wherever I go. Traveling is the first-hand experience knowledge about the World. The curiosity and not the fears. Traveling is tiring or insecure sometimes, but not passing the physical borders builds the borders in minds. And this is what makes me privileged. Because I got the ability to travel just by being born in a place which offers me all this things. Do we want to live in a peaceful and fearless world? Give the ability to travel to everyone to live borderless! And we all, who already have this privilege - be aware of it, use it, and just go!

“The cinema of social rights” is one of the Y-SRN’s long term programmes focused on one of our main priorities: Supporting the implementation of the Recommendation CM/Rec(2015)3 of the Committee of Ministers to member States on the access of young peoplefrom disadvantaged neighbourhoods to social rights.
The Cinema for Social Rights has several elements. It starts with “ENTERtainment”, an International training for improvement of youth workers’ competences to advocate for the implementation of the Recommendation CM/Rec(2015)3. During the ENTERtainment, participants will be trained for and expected to develop advocacy strategies and action plans (with online, offline or combined character) for implementation of the ENTER Recommendation.
Time after the ENTERtainmentis focused on advocating for implementation of the ENTER Recommendation, by implementing the planned strategies. It is the time focused on moving slowly towards “The Second Base” where people who are actively involved in advocating for implementation of the ENTER Recommendation, will meet in Greece so as to support each other, evaluate what has been done so far, revise the strategy or local action plans if necessary. During the meeting participants will directly support the host organization and the ones from the region in implementing the advocacy strategy and the local action plan in its local reality by organizing some local events as well as meetings with the authorities, the press, the young people and the local population.
The story goes on as we continue with advocating and further implementation of the strategy/action plans followed with an intensive online communication and support by Y-SRN, until the time comes to “Mov(i)e on” and meet again so as to evaluate the working plan implementation and plan our future work together.

Hi guys, I need some help here. Schengen medical insurance and appointment.
I’m an international student in Boston with an F-1 Visa. The passport I hold is from the Dominican Republic, and I’m planning to visit only Spain for eight days (Jun 5 – Jun 13, 2017), for which travel tickets I have already bought.
The following items marked with a X is what I have ready.
X 2 Schengen Application ((double sided sheet) and one supplement application form: Application 2, forms dully filled out and signed.
X 2 color photos with a white background (passport size)
X Passport valid for a minimum of three months after the expected visa stay.
X Alien Residence Card (Green-Card) or residence visa valid in the USA with I-20/IAP-66 (except B-1, B-2), those documents must be valid for a minimum of three months from the expiration date of your visa.
X Reservation of your airline ticket (Round-Trip).
X Hotel reservations or a Letter of Invitation issued by the Spanish Local Police Department from a family member or friend who resides in Spain.
X Proof of financial status, i.e. a major Credit Card along with the three latest statements as well as your latest three bank statements.
_ Travel medical insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000 Euros (€), repatriation included.
X “Money-Order” to pay the non-refundable visa fee of $64.00* payable to the Consulate of Spain. * For Russia, Ukraine, Macedonia, (ARYM), Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Albania, Moldavia and Armenia the fee is $37.00.
As you can see, I’m missing medical insurance. I hold a Harvard Pilgrim HealthCare student insurance plan for the academic year of 2016-17. I went to the consulate two days ago to ask questions but they were busy handling those who were there needing consulate assistance. I was told there that I should call the health insurance company, I have currently as a student, to see if they also cover my foreign stay.
Also, on the consulate web page it says I need to make an appointment.
Boston Visas To apply for a visa you need a confirmed appointment. Appointments cannot be made by phone. Remember! Only One Appointment per applicant, Visa appointment
After making an account and trying to make an appointment, it does not have available dates for any day now and on. (You can check for yourselves.)
EDIT: can’t grammar.
