So…do all of you in the Fandom remember 2p Alastor.

If you don’t remember or weren’t around at the time, he was sort of an opposite version of Alastor, that was made by user @anic-mj on Twitter and Tumblr in December of 2019, right after the pilot came out.

Alastor is all smiley and showy, 2p Alastor is all frowns and keeps to himself, Alastor is bright red, 2p is a darkish blue, Alastor is Ace, 2p is Pan.

2p Alastor was everything Alastor wasn’t. For a while, this kicked off a trend in the Hazbin Fandom where everyone made their own AU version of Alastor. There was a green Alastor, a pink Alastor, an orange Alastor, a yellow Alastor, so MANY ALASTORS, all with differing personalities.

It even inspired me to make my own AU version of Alastor, Candycore Alastor, who I still draw from time to time.

It’s so weird, that after all this time, after nearly half a decade of waiting, and after the show finally dropping, that 2p Alastor is technically considered a fandom relic. New fans who are into Hazbin Hotel know nothing of this guy, isn’t that insane?

Anyway, I wanted to draw this guy in a trad x digital hybrid format. Looks cool. I like it. Hope you do too!

Drew my first piece of fanart for Hazbin Hotel to celebrate its release around the corner, and of course I had to do it of Alastor the Radio Demon, my favorite character from the pilot. Can't wait to see more of him!

Next, I continued the trend of drawing Helluva Boss characters by doing Asmodeus "Ozzie", the lord of Lust. I love the relationship that is him and Fizzarolli cause bruh they're precious! I'm already obsessed with them lol.

Finally, after a month, I rise again from the ashes. Like a pheonix.

This was a lot of fun to do. I felt like my art was getting stagnant in the recent days. Just "3/4ths view, colorful background, simple pose". I feel like that was causing my art to stagnate for a while, and that's not what I want.

I might do somethings more experiemental from now on. You'll still get simplicity, but I wanna try and create a little more variety beyond that.

I thought this DTIYS would help me do that. I was inspired to draw a piano for the first time (A heavily referenced Stainway and Sons Piano), and I got to play around with overlays and textures and such. Plus it's been a while since I drew Hazbin Hotel stuff, and I thought...

"who else but Alastor?". Am I right?

So yeah, thx OP for showing me how much fun it was to experiment with backgrounds and poses and such. Might try and do it again with some other ideas I have with other fandoms.
