Catlin+Whitney's chill wedding. A beautiful day. A gorgeous bride. An impressive decorating effort with an incredible cast to cover the place in floral goodies, good vibes and incredible food by @daniorkitchen. The last time I hung with these two, we met (for their engagement shoot) at Black Sheep Pub…which was chosen either for nostalgic reasons or because they had left their credit card there the night before during their friend-reunion pub crawl? Or, both. This time around, it was a bit different story… • yeah, Covid is here…and today, on their originally scheduled wedding date, what would have been a friend reunion to the tune of 200 ppl at Higuera Ranch wherein (at this moment) we’d be ascending that beautiful hill that overlooks San Luis Obispo, snapping photos of these newlyweds while a massive barn burner would be going down!…I’m guessing our bride has instead slipped out of her beautiful dress and into her sweats. Yep, we modified things a bit: wore masks & skipped the hugs. But in the end, this intimate gathering included the essential ingredients: a glowing bride, a dapper groom and a beautiful backdrop. And as a bonus, we get to get together again in one year’s time and do it riiiight!
