This Day in Buster… March 19, 1917… Purportedly the date that Buster Keaton met Roscoe Arbuckle – entirely by chance – and was convinced to take a tour of the studio the following day. Buster took home a camera, took it apart, put it back together, and joined the cast on set for “The Butcher Boy.” The rest, as they say, is cinematic history.
