Some Space Renders + The Ak'thans
To compliment my recent post about my star system generator, here's some recent renders I did in Blender for the said galactic nation roleplay, as well as some contextual text (context text if you will) about my civilization in a roleplay, the Ak'thans:
Tumblr media
This is a Dyson ring I constructed around a neutron star, it is my civilization's central powerhouse, which allowed me to power my warp drives to a maximum of 6c, it took approximately 3 decades to construct, and obviously building this close to a neutron star is EXTREMELY impractical, but c'mon, it looks cool as hell, and there has to be some slack cut for an interesting experience.
Tumblr media
This is my home planet system, Zholo, and its two moons (from left to right), Spil'ma (a selena) and Akraks (a desert). It is home to many billions of Ak'thans (the people of my civilization), and is covered in deserts and shrouded in a thick oxygen-nitrogen atmosphere, with rare forestry. The Ak'thans are a termite-like species, though more like a mix of the likes of ants, termites, and beetles alike. They are able to construct vast underground tunnels and cities, as well as towers going well into the hundreds of meters if not over a kilometer tall, even in small villages where buildings are more sparse, as their architectural prowess is very deep due to their pre-sapient history as eusocial architects. There are about 61.5 billion of them (as of 2500 in the roleplay), spanning across 12+ star systems, meaning they are very compactly fit, though their nature allows them to survive this as workers and soldiers typically do not have home lives or families of their own, due to the queen producing all the children and being one of the only females in the entire civilization.
Ak'than workers can last several decades, while soldiers can last nearly a century, comparable to a human lifetime, however a queen can last over 2 centuries, being a strong leader for many generations, and giving little way for societal or ideological change, though as of 2500 in the roleplay. Over 10% of the population is striving for reform, to move away from the single queen unitary system, to multiple queens (supported by 9.2% of the population), or even none, to rule by the people (supported by 1.8% of the population).
Hope you enjoyed this digress into an infodump about the Ak'thans, again the emoticon of the day is: @w@

Exquisite chanderi Ajrak print dupattas
Beautiful chanderi Ajrak print dupattas are a delight as they add beauty and elegance to a plain churidar. The Akrak prints on cream, indigo blue, black or many other colours make them one of the best ethnic wear to collect. The chanderi Ajrak print dupattas can be matched with plain lehengas/kurta sets which creates a beautiful and elegant look. The comfort and softness of the cotton silk chanderi fabric makes the dupattas even more desirable!.
