I love how free KK is with praise. Akito’s taken to this shit like he was born for it and KK makes sure he knows he’s doing good. I love that. I love how he tries to act like he’s emotionally cut off, but he’s totally not, and him fondly and sometimes fiercely praising Akito proves it

God knew that wasn't enough for him. He was going crazy. Enough for what? Akito couldn't bother to find words to understand it, too afraid to lose whatever closeness they had slowly built. Leaving it in the limbo, with no words to cage it, seemed the safest way to keep living. Aka Akito is a messy eater. KK gives him a hand. Akito can't help it but wish that that hand went lower to his neck. Luckily, KK hasn't noticed a thing. Akito doesn't think his heart could take it. Or has he?
