Still workshopping him a bit, but behold the protagonist of the game I want to make! Akir was once a young magicologist, but was in the wrong place at the wrong time and got experimented on, becoming infected with Lightning magic - a rare and poorly understood magic.

He manages to escape with one of the other captives - a young woman named Oriana. Very shortly fate escape, though, she becomes sick with Blight and almost completely unresponsive. And thus, Akir is left to try and get them to somewhere safe.

The time loop is not helping matters.
