I've been avoiding your writing lately

I can't find when we started calling Writer Ryder and I want to figure it out before I read anything else so I'm not lost or confused. BUt I have not had the energy to look for it, so instead I'm just stuck. Avoiding it. Sorry

Oh wait I never wrote the piece where Writers name got turned to Ryder

I think @suspicious-whumping-egg was referencing a conversation we had about the story, where I gave away some of the ideas I was only partially forming

But the part where they start being called Ryder won’t happen at least until I get some of these asks filled out

personally, i would love to see cato beg. for what, idk, to not be hurt maybe? or to stop being hurt? OH or hey, maybe we can bring aspen into the picture. if cato doesn't beg well enough, writer gets a whole day with aspen 😈 and if cato humiliates and degrades himself well enough, then he'll take aspen's place for the day

You and me both annon! Only problem: can’t do self degradation or self humiliation here, sry abt that! I’m just not good with either of those things

But he would beg so sweetly in order to take Aspen’s place, and it’s especially delicious if they’re forced to watch, both the pleading and the torture.

And they can’t do anything to help. I love the helplessness, especially with such a strong and capable person.

Mm mhm mhm, yes i especially love when he’s gonna pick letting himself get tortured, and Aspen is desperately trying to convince him otherwise.

Although he has a tendency to shut down a bit when given impossible choices, so I’d try and keep the options as simple as possible, for his sake

Oh yeah, all the time. But it gets a little hard to deny. He tries to keep others from thinking he’s crazy, people will react to small things, but he knows they won’t react to big things. That’s why he could get to his apartment without any worries even when covered in blood.

Also, the way Writer talks about some things, combined with how real everything seems, makes all of it hard to doubt.

I'm a sucker for your Cato series :DD I've never seen anything like it!!

This might be an unpopular ask... But I'm longing for a wee bit of comfort for Cato! Is there any possible way for him to receive a bit of grudging happiness from Writer? ;) I wanna be one of the audience who doesn't wish him pain 😅😂.

I’ve gotten a lot of asks for Cato to get comfort! I really enjoy them, I just don’t write whole chapters a lot cos I’m-

I’m just not good at writing comfort..

I try and do my best for these, and I’m really glad preppie like Cato and want him to be happy! If you do send stuff- keep in mind that neither Writer nor Cato are comfortable with eachother all that much, so Writer will probably do the bare minimum to fulfill the request, or possibly not even be there, while Cato is pretty much good with anything except when writer is actually present.

And then *only* if you're comfortable writing it have Cato choose between number 24 for himself or Writer giving Aspen a number 16

Okay I love both of these and I’m gonna write them in two separate pieces cos they each deserve one

I’ve been going through the submissions in the order they came in and I know it’s been slow going 😭 I love writing them it just takes time

I absolutely loved your 21 + 22 piece, it was beautiful! I do want to explain the salt though, just so you don't think I'm insane

From Wikipedia:

The salt and ice challenge is an Internet challenge where participants pour salt on their bodies, usually on the arm, and ice is then placed on the salt. This causes a "burning" sensation similar to frost bite, and participants vie to withstand the pain for the longest time.

The mixture of ice and salt create eutectic frigorific mixture which can get as cold as −18 °C (0 °F).

The salt and ice challenge can quickly cause second- and third-degree injuries similar to frostbite or being burnt with the metal end of a lighter, as well as causing painful open sores to form on the skin.

Ooh that makes sense! I don’t think the ice would have stayed in place long enough to do any frostbite damage tho, as it was being poured and falling. And just cold water mixed with salt after melting wouldn’t have that effect
