this is so important it’s definitely worth thinking about. this can’t just be absolutely nothing and there’s only so many reasons to make this game found footage when it would 100% work as not. if they’re going that route it’s so someone in the future can watch this happen. maybe someone who’s purposefully researching the mimic in present day. it wouldn’t be like. found footage movie cam or anything of like first person but more likely something like security cameras, but already the idea of found footage is so interesting and makes u think. def the kind of thing fnaf would do

Guess who's having "rightfully disgruntled Cassie" thoughts again. Can you imagine that after RUIN and all that jazz and the blame for Cassie's attempted murder with the elevator falls on Gregory (and on either Vanessa or Freddy or BOTH a his accomplices bc his voice mentioned he's having help while talking to her on the Fazwatch), her dad is rightfully so mad he manages to file a restraining order on Gregory (which I imagine extends to Vanessa bc of her being suspected of being involved as well as being his guardian since he's a minor.) Sure there's the Mimic thing which would turn heads, unless it was somehow omitted if just to prevent complications in the process.

There's a whole of case by case stuff and such when it comes to restraining order requirements but tbh i do NOT feel like going through the technalities lol. But imagine if Cassie's dad was successful in getting his filed, meaning neither Gregory or Vanessa can legally be anywhere near Cassie and by extension him too as her father. But since both adults here work at the same place, meaning their kids also cross paths a lot, you can see the friction. Vanessa would pretty much be legally forced to quit or change jobs somewhere else and have to take Gregory with her (given that when a person files a RO against another who lives together, the one that got served the order has to move out most of the time.) And given most people (and animatronics) in the Pizzaplex hates Gregory's guts they would be more likely to help reinforce it (AKA snitch on him for violating the RO.) The animatronics would likely let Vanessa's presence slide if it's just her, but the humans, especially Cassie's dad, might not. Then there's Freddy. Given he's a robot and not a legal citizen the RO wouldn't apply to him, but I doubt that helps much.

I can imagine they probably can't prove Gregory was involved in literally anything. Unless they managed to get a hold of Mimic's memory banks and security footage from cameras that could pick up the sound of Gregory talking to Cassie in the pizzeria, I feel like it'd be incredibly difficult to prove. I'm not sure you can put restraining orders on children either, so I suppose this would be more of a thing for Vanessa to deal with? I'm not sure how it would work

I looked it up real quick and I don't think they can put a restraining order on Gregory. Maybe on Vanessa I suppose? That could make things complicated if the animatronics are friends with her and don't want to lose her. If they could prove Gregory did try to kill her or was involved at all in this, they could maybe charge him in a children's court though. Attempted murder is still attempted murder after all, child or not. He could probably be sent to a detention centre somewhere for a while which would keep him away from Cassie and the Plex at least, but for how long that lasts would depend on the sentence.

If they could put a restraining order on him, Vanessa would have to leave the Plex or stop him from coming to work with her. I'm not sure how viable that is, but come to think of it, if she has custody of him, she probablly can't work a night shift without a sitter anyway? Freddy's just a head, he can't provide for Gregory like that. Vanessa would probably have to either switch to day shift or leave that job anyway. Not saying she couldn't have Gregory and the nightshift, I'm just saying that really wouldn't be that easy so I dunno if she'd want to that's a lot

So uhhh I suppose the biggest problem is just keeping Gregory out of the Plex in his free time? Like after school and stuff? Banning him and notifying the staff at reception that he's not allowed in would probably be the best they can do there ngl

This is probably an unwinnable battle honestly. Even with a restraining order in place, Gregory has already proven a locked door means nothing to him so I doubt it would really stop him. The bans would help, but the security doors would all logically be wide open during the day except for the off limits areas so it would only really stop him walking into the Cupcake Factory, Raceway, Salon and uhh well Mazercise has a normal door so probably Mazercise too.

To be fair though, this may not even become that big of an issue. If we're talking about legalities, then Fazbear legally can't bribe Cassie and her dad to keep quiet. Cassie is undoubtedly going to have to go to a hospital because of the Ruin situation and if she's missing any limbs or has any other injuries caused by Mimic catching her? Yeah that's gonna be very hard to explain away! And honestly? Cassie probably has no real reason to lie about it all.

If she's mad at Gregory and what he tried to do to her, then it would make sense for her to actually tell them everything that happened, emphasising that Gregory tried to kill her and possibly glossing over that he was trying to keep Mimic from escaping.

So um. Yeah Fazbear is probably in deep shit now, and if investigators can secure Roxy somehow, then they also have an animatronic who's memories they can watch as evidence. Roxy could also guide them down to the Pizzeria if she thought they weren't going to try anything and probably show them the bodies they couldn't recover, so that's even more evidence.

If Fazbear survives this, it'd be a miracle, and with the Pizzaplex under investigation like this... well, Vanessa and Gregory have no reason to be there at all. Also, the police will probably be trying to find them, and with the whole Vanny situation, a stolen Freddy and a child that committed catastrophic amounts of property damage, they're uhh... probably not going to be sticking around?

What I'm saying is, Cassie or her dad trying to get any legal action taken with Gregory is more than certainly going to drop Fazbear straight into the shit. They might even end up putting Vanessa and Gregory on the run in the process too but like... yeah Fazbear is fucked no matter what here I think

Which would be kinda funny actually. Cassie got so pissed off at Gregory that she accidentally brought a corporate giant down into the ground. Just gets to angrily stew over Gregory 'getting away with it' because they couldn't find him, while Fazbear CEOs are grovelling at her feet to change her story and save them from legal action. She just destroyed the company that caused her and everyone she cares about lifetimes worth of pain, but ya know, she really wanted Gregory to get in trouble for dropping a lift on her, even if after she thinks about it, she understands why someone would do that.

Like yeah, she might have just saved millions of lives by killing Fazbear dead and brought justice to maybe hundreds of victims, but Fazbear didn't try to kill her. They would have just left her to die, that's different. She deserves the justice she wants of course, but in the investigation they might also discover that it was Mimic that dropped her and not Gregory so uh... yeah she'd be going through it, huh?

And yeah, even with the Pizzaplex being rebuilt and reopened, with a restraining order placed on Gregory, the law does Not apply to Freddy. He has no rights and thus, no rights to take away. And the people that would want to put a restraining order on him, are probably also animatronics, who have no rights either. If anything, if Freddy goes back to the Plex at all, he probably won't be allowed to leave again, so everyone would be even more stuck with him than if he were just visiting with Vanessa.

And of course, with Freddy and Vanessa in the Pizzaplex, that gives Gregory more than enough motivation to break back in. So not only would Freddy going back trap all the animatronics with him, but it would also bring Gregory back too, so uhhh yeah no one's happy with Freddy I don't think...

Even if the animatronics don't blame him for what happened to them, his voice trying to kill Cassie is a whole different situation. Not blaming him for hurting them, doesn't even mean they'd be comfortable with him around in the first place, never mind with Cassie in the mix. Nah, I think if they found Gregory after that, they'd have to get him out of the building. At this point, I'd be surprised if he wasn't considered a security risk.

Though one of them catching Gregory specifically to command he "get his fucking bear out of this fucking house" would be pretty funny. And might actually solve their problem! Gregory wants Freddy and they don't, so why doesn't he just break Freddy out again? It's only logical! Everyone's a winner here!

Just Sunny or Moon, maybe even Chica or whoever teaming up with Gregory to get Freddy out of the building again under the condition the Plex stays Gregory and Freddy Free in future and Vanessa gets to take fresh cooked pizzas home for dinner/breakfast after her shift... Everyone's a winner, ya know? Except maybe Freddy, but most of this is largely his fault anyway so there's little sympathy for him probably. At least there's no sympathy from me anyway lmao

as someone who isnt super excited for sotm for certain reasons I am really glad that like. it's clear that since ruin theyve been setting up for carnival and sotm IS carnival. so now that carnival is finally coming out, afterwards theyll be moving on to other plotlines since the main villain stuff is sorted out

I'm just rlly happy to finally see a clear direction for how the story is gonna be playing out with like "okay these games were leading up to this so after this will be open possibilites" instead of like. absolutely no info about each upcoming game and being left guessing before it releases and just having to wait and see what's in it and if anything you're looking forward to will be in it

it feels like they have a plan and a solid direction for what they're trying to do and after carnival releases thatll be all that buildup coming to fruition. & we already know from the Scott interview that theres another release 'beyond sotm' that's 'super exciting' so maybe thatll be focusing on another big currently untouched (which is basically all of them) plotline, or even the big campaign game that dawko has been calling security breach 2
