Chapter 1
Preface -
Momentum aka Carter McKinley joined Team Flash shortly after Zoom was revealed as Jay Garrick, their so called friend. Her speed, coupled with Barry’s, helped the team to conquer the big bads and allowed each speedster to have a break from time to time. Her name came after a heated debate between Cisco and Harry with Cisco’s winning.
“Barry, didn’t you say that he had a prisoner back on Earth 2?” Carter asked once Zoom had been defeated.
He nodded, “Do you want to go get him out?”
“Of course, after what you just did, you deserve the break of a lifetime,” she replied.
Cisco accompanied her to their breach and sent her through. She freed the man, unable to remove the helmet, and returned with him to her Earth.
“You couldn’t get that thing off?” Caitlin asked when Carter appeared in the Cortex with the real Jay Garrick.
Carter shook her head, “I tried, but it wouldn’t budge,” she shared as she helped him to a chair where Caitlin took over on the attempt to free the poor man.
While Caitlin worked, Barry walked in. “Is that him?” he asked.
Carter nodded just as Caitlin freed him, allowing him to stand and turn. “Yep, the real Jay Garrick,” but he had Barry’s Father’s face.
Carter watched as Barry turned and left the room and then saw the confused expression on Garrick’s face. “Caitlin, can I have a minute with him?” Caitlin nodded as she left the pair alone.
Carter moved closer to the stranger, “You’re his father’s doppelganger and Zoom just murdered him,” she revealed causing sadness to take over his face. “You couldn’t have known. I just wanted you to know so you wouldn’t take his reaction personally.” She changed the subject, “Is there anything I can get you?”
He shook his head, “I’m just happy to be out of the cell and that mask,” he replied, taking a seat across from Carter’s. “Thank you for coming to get me. I just need to recover a little and then I can get back home, where hopefully my Earth isn’t destroyed,” he revealed.
Carter reached out, placing her hand on top of his, “If you want, you’re welcome to stay with me while you get back on your feet. I have an extra room,” she offered.
“I don’t want to be any trouble,” he began, not removing his hand, “You’ve already been more accommodating then you could ever know.”
“You wouldn’t be any trouble at all,” she answered his protest, “Please, let me do this for you. I will feel much better about sending you home if I know you’re ok.”
Jay pulled back his hand to place it on his chin, thinking her offer over. Finally he leaned forward, “If you really don’t mind then I will.”
His response caused a large smile, an unexpected one, to cross her lips, “Just let me know when you’re ready to head there,” she stood to check on Barry and to suppress her enthusiasm.
Carter had always had a small crush on Barry’s dad and, she assumed, that was the cause of her school girl behavior with this man she didn’t know at all.
Later on that afternoon, Carter drove Jay to her home. They made a stop to get him some essentials before arriving at their destination.
Carter led him inside, giving him a small tour before reaching the guest room, “This is where you’ll sleep,” she revealed, “There’s a bathroom in here but feel free to roam anywhere in the house.”
“Thank you,” he replied, his clean shaven face enhancing his handsome features.
“If there’s anything you need, my room is next door,” she replied, feeling suddenly flushed, “Do you need anything before I go start something for dinner?” she asked, hoping to escape him.
Jay shook his head as he walked into the room to get settled, allowing Carter to race to the kitchen and cool down while she looked for something edible for them.
Carter came across some hamburger meat, pasta sauce, and some angel hair so she set to work on spaghetti and meatballs. By the time her meal was almost done, Jay stepped into the room and took a seat at her island. He was wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt but still looked amazing.
“It smells great out here,” he complimented as she passed him a glass of wine.
She nodded, “We’re just lucky I had anything to cook,” she played off the praise, “I’m out running with Barry too often to keep this place well stocked,” she took a sip of the wine, knowing it wouldn’t be the thing warming her cheeks.
Jay smiled before he spoke again, “Either way, I’m grateful that you’re generous and skilled in the kitchen. The only thing I can imagine that could be worse then being imprisoned could be a trip to McDonalds,” he joked, causing Carter to let out a loud laugh which caught her and sent her into a fit of giggles while she finished putting together their food. Jay couldn’t help but to laugh with her.
Carter laid their bowls out in front of them before she took a seat across from her, ready to test her feelings with some small talk.
“You must have someone back on your Earth worried sick about you,” she began, “Like a wife or a girlfriend. I can’t imagine how it would feel for someone I love to suddenly disappear.”
Jay stopped mid bite and locked eyes with her, “No, there’s no one at home, which I am thankful for after this.”
Carter nodded, unsure of where to take her questions, so she ate silently, instead.
After a few minutes of silence, Jay spoke, “Why do you ask?”
Carter almost choked on a noodle as the words left his lips. She did her best to compose herself and took a sip of wine, “Just curious,” she lied, hoping she was believable.
He smiled while looking down, shaking his head, “I don’t think that’s it. I’ve been out of the game for awhile now, but I think I still know what it looks like when someone is interested in someone else,” he revealed causing Carter to stop what she was doing and stare at him, working through her next move.
She took a deep breath and spoke, “Ok, you’ve got me. I am attracted to you. And, I know I don’t know you but I feel drawn to you,” she paused thinking over their day, “Don’t worry, though, it started after I offered you a place to stay. I didn’t lure you here under any false pretences.”
“I wasn’t concerned with that, at all,” he replied gently, “I’m actually happy to hear that you’re interested in me because I was instantly attracted to you,” he looked into her eyes sending a shiver down her spine, “At first, I assumed it was because of my time locked away but I didn’t have the same feeling toward any of the other women back at S.T.A.R. Labs,” he confessed.
Carter took a long sip of wine before replying, “So, what do we do about our feelings? You live on a different Earth so it’s not as if we can start dating,” she allowed her words to linger in the air, wondering if he’d realize what she was proposing.
Jay raised a brow at her statement, “What exactly are you suggesting?”
“I forget that you may be more old school when it comes to these things,” she teased, barely knowing him but confident, “We can just have a fling, just a physical thing. You get to go home and I stay here without all the messy feelings.”
“I am afraid the ‘messy’ feelings are already present, but I am open to your idea,” he smiled softly, “Let’s discuss it in the morning because it has been quite a day,” he stood and took their dishes to the sink and began cleaning up.
Carter moved to stop him, “Guests don’t do the dishes. Go get some rest.”
He looked as if he may object but then realized where their close proximity to each other could lead and nodded, “I will see you in the morning.”

Love behind the scenes| Grant Gustin x fem.reader (part 1)
You were young and talented actress who got the amazing opportunity to join the superhero world playing in The Flash. You were new addition to the Flash family as the cast called themselves. Everyone welcomed you with open arms and it was almost unreal to you how kind and welcoming everyone was, especially Grant. This was basically your dream come true. You were a massive fan of the show, the characters and the actors and now you got to work with them.
The show runner didn't go into detail of your character that you are potraying but he gave you all the information you needed to practically become one with the character. You were paying smart, geeky but confident and snarky detective who Barry didn't like at first, though slowly but surely became friends with her and when she saved Flashes life he brought her to Star Labs introducing her to the team.
Right now you and the cast were at comic con and having an interview. It was Carlos aka Cisco, Danielle Nicolette aka Cecil and Tom Cavanagh aka Wells and/or Reverse Flash sitting in the back. In the front was Danielle Panabaker aka Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost, you, Grant aka Barry Allen and Candice Patton aka Iris West.
You were sitting next to Danielle on your right and Grant on your left and to say you were having butterflies just sitting so close to Grant, to your biggest celebrity crush, was an understatement. The reporter welcomed all of you and started asking questions.
"So season 7 is quickly approaching and the fans myself included would love to know a bit about what to expect. Can you tell us something about the upcoming season?"
Grant took the opportunity to answer.
"we can expect a lot of action and interesting plot twists that's for sure"
"okay is having a new character in the picture the main reason for the plot twists?"
You laughed a bit to calm your nerves. You were always nervous during an interview and now you were amongst your favorite people. You smiled at the reporter and answered.
"I'd say my character will be a big part of the twists and surprising events but not the main one, I don't think."
"okay you're playing a detective with an interesting personality is she a meta?"
"I won't say if she is or not just to not give too much away but I'm going to say that nobody including her thinks she is so far."
The interview continued and we all had a good time and good laugh. Tom, Carlos and Grant are quite the three. One question made you actually blush.
"I see that Grant has a lady on each side of him, Candice who's playing his wife and y/n. Can this be taken as a hint of possible love triangle between Barry, Iris and y/ch/n?"
Grant answered that.
"maybe I mean everything can happen right especially on the Flash. Nothing is impossible."
After the interview and the comic con everyone said their goodbyes and went home. You were going to do the same when Grant cought up with you.
"hey I was wondering if you'd like to go grab some dinner. I don't want to go yet and I'd love to spend time with you and get to know you better."
You were taken aback. Your crush and now actual friend invited you to dinner. You were grinning at him as you answered.
"yeah sure why not."
Little did you know, that dinner was just the beginning...

Could I have an x reader w/Harrison wells(aka eobard thawne) the reader knows that he is from the future but loves him anyway. Also can it be where the reader is w/him when he gets attacked in his house.
PSA; Reader is his wife.
Tumblr media
. . .
“Anything specific you want for dinner?”
Harrison- Eobard- looks up at your call. You stand down the hall from him, hands on your hips and a small smile pulled at your lips.
“Anything of your choice, my love,”
You hum, moving up in front of Harrison with a wider smile, “How about some take out? That tai place in town is open for another,” A swift glance to your watch, “Two hours. We could order, have it delivered here...”
“That sounds like a plan to me,” Harrison reaches up to grab your hips, moving to stand up, your face remaining same as you were used to this- and knew the truth.
Harrison glances down when his phone vibrates, and irritated grunt escaping his lips as he lifts the phone to his ear, eyes remaining on your face, “Harrison Wells,”
Your brows pinch when his phone sizzles, the muffled voice coming clear as day to you, “We both know what you did,”
Harrison pulls his hand back to show the caller had hung up, his hand releasing your hip to move to the side, picking up the gun from the kitchen bar,
“Harrison,” You call, warily, your husband only touching your back before stepping in front of you,
“Stay with me,”
You nearly jump when a voice plays through the speakers- “It’s time to pay the piper!”
You hear a low crack so your eyes drifted upwards, Harrison turning to you just as the windows on the roof began to shatter, Harrison speeding up to you before he lifts you up, skidding to a stop in the hallway,
You feel your hands clutching at his jacket, yelping when the window just behind you shatters, Harrison tucking your head into his chest before turning, so he could attempt to block away the flying shards,
You inhale a deep breath when the mansion falls silent, eyes opening as your head turns, staring at the glass littering the floor, “What the hell-?”
“Are you alright?” Harrison breathes, lowly, leaning back so you could look at him, nodding, “Call Allen and West. Get them up here,”
. . .
“Come in,”
You stand next to Harrison’s chair as Barry and Joe step in with pinched brows of concern, your smile light
“Look, Joe,” Harrison shakes his head, “I apologize for all of this. It just- it really feels like a case of so much for so little. The police, should not have been called,”
“Harrison got a prank call before it all happened,” You continue, following Harrison to the spot “you” were standing in,
“This feels like more than a prank, Y/N,” Joe states,
“We feel it might have something to do with someone wanting revenge,” You pause, “For us setting off the Particle Accelorator,”
“Which, isn’t new,” Harrison reminds,
“Where were you guys when this happened?” Barry breathes, as Caitlin and Cisco make their appearance,
“Harrison was over by the kitchen bar,” You lie, pointing, “I was back over here, about to order takeout,”
“Now,” Harrison clears his throat, “I am going to make us a hotel reservation,”
You follow Barry to the pile of shattered glass, watching him use his speed to put the glass back together, before he puffs out a breath of air,
“There’s no point of impact. No object was thrown,”
“Good observation,” You smile, stepping over the glass so you were in front of him, where he looks up at you and stands up,
“This wasn’t a prank, was it?”
You shake your head, lips pressing together.
“And you nor Doctor Wells want our help, do you?”
“There’s no point,” You breathe, “We already know who did this. Hartley Rathaway,”
“Whos Hartley Rathaway?”
“The prodigy’s son,” Harrison rolls up to you, “And he has returned,”
. . .
“Being scooped up by a guy clad in head-to-toe leather is a long-time fantasy of mine, so thanks,”
You watch as Hartley turns around in his meta cuffs, eyes landing on you, Cisco and Caitlin are next to each other,
“Well, well, well, the gangs all here. You’ve lasted a lot longer than I would’ve thought, Cisco,” Your eyes meet Hartleys as he looks over to you, “Mrs. Wells,”
“Hartley,” You hum, then man tilting his chin up as his eyes scan your figure,
“I can tell you’ve aged a bit. How long has it been since we’ve crossed paths? A decade?”
“That’s enough,” Barry hisses, shoving Hartley so he walked forward, Cisco grabbing his arm to drag him to the pipeline.
You exhale a breath and roll your eyes, heels clicking as you moved behind them.
. . .
“They know the truth, Harrison,” Your whisper is light behind him, your hand touching his shoulder as you round his chair to walk next to him, “About the explosion,”
“I knew they’d find out sooner or later,” Your husband hums, “I was hoping later. But now will do,”
You press your lips together, Harrison looking up at you before he reaches up to grasp your hand, pressing the back of it to his lips as you enter the Cortex,
“I assume you all were listening,” Harrison shifts his attention to the three standing together, Barry turning to look at him, “And Hartley was right. We have not been telling you the whole truth,”
“Hartley warned us that there was a chance that the accelerator could explode,” You start, breath light, and you are forced to watch Barry’s face fall, “His data didnt show one hundred percent certainty, but just that it was a risk,”
“And yet I made the decision,” Harrison shifts his gaze to rest hard on yours, “That the reward, that everything we could learn and achieve, that all of that... simply outweighed the risk. I’m sorry,”
You frown as Caitlin stands up, “Then if you choose to put our lives,” Her voice wavers, “And the lives of the people that we love, at risk, I’ll expect a heads up,”
You duck your head and slide your hand to Harrison’s upper back as the three all depart ways, your free hand coming up to slide at his jaw and lift his head back up, “Give them some time. They’re going to need it,”

Come home to me - Chapter 4
Tumblr media
Title: Come home to me
Chapter no: Chapter 4
Author: @arianalilyblack
Pairing: Harry Wells x Reader x Eobard Thawne/Harrison Wells
Word count: 2269
Summary: The wedding of Barry Allen and Iris West is finally here. You and Harry are caught up with the wedding spirit and start to slowly realize that maybe you developed deeper feelings for each other. Everything is perfect until Nazis bust into the church ruining everything. And alongside Earth X villains guess who shows up? Your ex flame, Eobard Thawne aka the Reverse Flash, complicating everything in your lives.
 At first he felt pleasure as he heard a frustrated Cisco shouting in the next cell. It was fun for a while. But then his thoughts started to drift towards Y/N, and the smug grin disappeared from his face. He cursed himself for leaving her unprotected and alone. Obviously he knew that she could protect herself, but he still felt guilty as hell. He never should have left her side, not before telling her the truth. It was frustrating that he couldn’t talk about his newly experienced feelings for her. That smile at the wedding; that was the moment when all his oppressed feelings got out of their strongly locked cage. It was a simple friendly smile, but to him it shone brighter than the sun. It made his heart beat faster, and now he will never see her again. It all ended before it could really start.
The ball resonated louder and louder throughout the Pipeline, as he became more irritated by this imprisoned state, driving Cisco crazy with every bang. Sadness took a hold on his heart. He placed his head into his hands, horrible pictures flashing before his eyes. The sight of her getting tortured or her dead body lying on the floor was maddening. The ball stopped, hitting him right in the chest.
„For the love of God, finally!” exclaimed Cisco. „Have you calmed down, Harry?”
„Shut up, Ramon” Harry sputtered. He had trouble breathing, tears stung his eyes.
„Harry, are you alright?” asked Cisco, sensing that something was off with the grumpy scientist.
„Peachy” was the short sarcastic answer.
„Don’t worry Harry. She will be fine” Caitlin encouraged him.
„Oooh, so that’s the reason why my head is splitting into million pieces” draw the conclusion the engineer. „Mister Know-it-all finally saw the light” Cisco teased him.
„Ramon!” Harry growled.
„Harry, my friend, don’t you fear for Y/N, she’s tough as a nut.” Cisco tried to raise his hopes up.
„Attention all prisoners; great news, the cavalry has arrived.”
The Legends got the message from Felicity and came to the rescue. All the prisoners were out in no time; almost all of them went to fight with Nate against Metallo, except Harry. He had better things to do. He sprinted towards the workshop, to obtain a weapon prototype he and Cisco developed for similar situation. Right before he could reach the gun, Eobard cut his way.
„Well” Harry caught his breath. „Aren’t you a handsome devil?”
„Pretty popular with the ladies, huh?” Eobard smirked implying his hypothetical relationship with Y/N. Harry was smarter then to give into this pointless mind game. „Wells, you are in real danger now. But I’m going to make you a deal.” His smile grew wider with his every word. „I can spare your life, as a man of your superior intellect has a place in our new world. Of course, with one condition” he raised his index finger. „You have to give up on Y/N. You are a clever man; you already know that she feels what she does for you just because you look just like me. You are constantly reminding her of me and that’s the only thing why she would ever look at you. Her place is by my side. I’m the only one who can satisfy her needs. She has quite a temper, that little minx. She still loves me” His devilish smile was all over his face. It disgusted Harry to the core.
„Thank you… for the offer and information.” Harry nodded in appreciation before he looked up sternly and added „I’d rather die, than to let your liar ass torture her for the rest of her life.”
„Well that…” The speedster’s smile turned into a frown and his hand started vibrating. „That can be arranged.”
„Wait, wait!” Harry raised his arms in defense as the vibrating hand got dangerously close to his heart. „Wait. Think this through. If you kill me, she will never forgive you for that, ever. She will hate you more than she already does. And besides, who knows what consequences could cause the death of your doppelganger from another Earth.”
„You’re right.” He paused. „But there’s only one way to find out” he shook his head as he contemplated his action and advanced his weaponized hand towards Harry’s chest. But instead of coursing through his heart he was shocked by something, hand bouncing back in an instant.
„Yeah, so, I forgot to mention” Harry pointed arrogantly to his chest. „I went and loaded millions of biocompatible miniature robots into my body which were programmed to attack any foreign cells speeding into my system. Just face it, Thawne; you will never get her back.”
Eobard looked anxiously to the gun, then back to Harry’s face. He could easily outrun his shadow, but then he would complicate his mission. Harry winked at the evil speedster, lips curling into a cocky smile, and jumped towards the gun, but he was to slow, Eobard had already vanished.
 ~
 You were dragged away from the girls. You had no metapower left whatsoever to fight back, so you complied. Meanwhile the energy slowly started to rebuild in your system; it just needed some time to fully regenerate. You made a fool of yourself yet again, by thinking Eobard had changed. It was naïve of you to trust his words, because obviously you did believe him when he’d told you that he just wanted to come home to you. Once again you were fooled by his silver tongue, and once again he had thrown you away, like some liability.
„So how does this Nazi job paying you? Is it really worth it?” you asked, teasing the soldier beside you with a small smile, trying to cheer yourself up. No response, no reaction of any kind. „Let me go, little soldier. I promise I won’t rattle you out to the Fuhrer” you flashed your most convincing grin, but all in vain.
The muscles in your body were sore, but you figured that you could still beat the crap out of this disrespectful bastard. A loud bang came from the Cortex that was followed immediately by two another. This was your chance; you pulled your arm out of his grip and kicked him in the guts with all you physical strength. Your hands immediately clasped into his head and banged it against the wall as hard as you could manage. It did the trick so you were able to run away. You just took the right turn when you stumbled into a hard chest. Your body bounced back into a fighting position, just before you met the most beautiful ocean blue eyes you’ve ever seen.
„Y/N” Harry gasped before taking her into his arms. „I thought I’ve lost you.” He pulled you closer to his chest.
„Harry” you whispered his name taken aback by his heartfelt greeting.
It felt like your heart was about to jump out of your body, but at the same time a bitter sorrow filled it. You didn’t muster to look up to his face. Right now it would have been too haunting. Instead you stayed in his protective embrace, hiding your face from him. His body suddenly tensed which startled you. The first thing that crossed your mind was Eobard standing behind you. But then again, you wouldn’t be still standing surrounded by Harry’s warm arms if that was the truth.
„He’s back.” Your heart clenched, and you breathed in sharply. „I won’t let him hurt you.” With his right hand on your back and his left on your head, he hugged you tighter. „Not anymore.”
Finally when you looked up at him with teary eyes, there wasn’t a single thing on his features that reminded you of Eobard. It was simply Harry Wells with such loving glance that you melted into his body.
„Don’t worry, I will be alright” you raised your hand and stroked his faced.
„I will always worry for you” he admitted with a small smile.
„Why?” you urged him. You wanted him to say it out loud, to confirm that you aren’t hallucinating. This novel closeness felt surreal.
„Because I care about you, Y/N, a lot” Harry confessed and gently drew you into a sweet kiss. His lips were so soft and delicate; it made your heart flutter. „I…” his voice trembled. „I love you.”
„It was about time” shouted Cisco proudly, raising his hands as a ‘hallelujah’ motion, scaring you to death.
„Ramon” grunted Harry in annoyance, eyes darting deadly shots towards him.
„Sorry to interrupt you lovebirds, but we kinda got to go. You know, cause there’s a Nazi invasion going on and all that” he motioned a circle above his head.
 ~
 The whole team was reunited on the Waverider’s deck. Flash and the others came back from Earth-X, but they paid a huge price for it. Professor Stein had been severely injured and died shortly after they came back. You wanted to be left alone, to figure out your storming thoughts, so you searched for a quiet and secluded place.
The overwhelming feelings were driving you crazy. You were sure that you will lose your mind soon, if you don’t calm down. Your frustration came out as a loud groan.
„Why is life shitting with me?” you shouted into the thin air and buried your face into your hands.
It should have been one of the best days in your life, after all the two of you finally acknowledged your feelings for each other. Well almost. Because of Cisco’s interruption you totally forgot to say those three words back to him. Life wasn’t going to make it easy for you. Eobard’s return stirred up some suppressed emotions; you’ve missed him so damn much. You hated yourself for letting him under your skin. All you wanted was to be happy with Harry, without feeling constantly guilty about it. It wasn’t supposed to be this hard; you just had to keep in mind all the sadness that the speedster caused you. Remind yourself of all the sorrow and pain he made you endure. You crossed your legs, taking a meditating position and tried to clear him out of your mind and organism.
„Why the long face, darling?” The sudden presence of another human made you jump in your seat.
„Snart! But… how?” Leo smiled at your confused facial expression.
„I’m Leo Snart, from Earth-X.” He reached out with one hand and you shook hands. „Now tell me dear, what is it that’s bothering you so much?”
„Oh, it’s complicated” you let out a big sigh accompanied by a nervous grimace.
„The matters of the heart are always complicated” he looked at you with an odd, sympathetic smile. „Eventually the things fall in their right places, trust me. Now put a smile on that pretty face and let’s kick some Nazi asses.”
„Thanks, Leo” you cracked a smile back, grateful for his encouraging words.
 ~
 Harry was on the control deck with Cisco and the others. They were working on a plan to defeat the enemy but he wasn’t much of a help to them. He kept getting distracted by the earlier conversation with Y/N. He had just confessed his feelings in front of everyone to her, but she didn’t say anything back. Maybe it was because he kissed her out of the blue, or maybe it was because she didn’t felt the same way. And that’s why he couldn’t find her anywhere, because she was probably hiding from him.
Eobard’s words were ringing in his ears; “She still loves me” claimed the evil speedster. The insecurity irritated him, and when he got annoyed he usually threw stuff. He started pounding the wall nearby because of the lack of disposable objects. One thought would persistently come back to haunt him; what if she chooses that monster. “That can’t be possible, she is a rational woman. She would never go back to that bastard.”
„Harry, focus!” ordered Cisco after several minutes of calling him out.
„Not now, Ramon. I have to go” with that he was out of the room. He didn’t hear the end of Cisco’s indignant speech.
Harry was familiar with the tight relationship that was between Y/N and Eobard from the start. He knew that very well and still fell for her kind and gentle nature. Her friendship was a ray of happiness in his somber life. Even if he was just the second best thing; he would be okay with that as long as he could stay with her.
The scientist was roaming the halls, searching for Y/N. He needed to find her, to make sure she’s okay. He could only imagine how hard this could be for her after all she’d been through.
„Hey grumpy” heard a loving voice behind his back. He turned around to face Y/N.
„Who’s grumpy? I’m not grumpy” he shook his head in denial and huffed.
„Yeah, right” she waved her hand giggling.
„I will show you grumpy” he threatened and rushed towards to tickle her with a mischievous grin.
„Okay, okay” she gave herself up. „You win, but only this time” she laughed.
„I always get what I want” he smirked and attracted her into a kiss.
„If he finds out… He’ll kill you” she said in a shaky voice breaking the sugary kiss.
„He already knows. And still, here I am holding you in my arms, caressing your beautiful face and peppering it with little kisses.” He did as he said, her cheeks turning into a burning mess.
„I love you, Harry” she whispered between two kisses.

Iris and Barry really would've gotten married out of the blue if it hadn't been for Kevin (the lil boy in ep3) LMAOOO
This boy really used cinnamon incense on purpose when the father was allergic to it and just went :) ┐(´ー`)┌
"no need to shame the little boy" I-
We love Barry defending little kids 🥺
I liked Cisco's shirt in this episode
Haikus are easy
But sometimes they don't make sense
Refrigerator
Not Wally leaving 🥺😩
BAHHAHHSXHAHSGHASGAH Joe's reaction when Cecile told him she was pregnant
OMG just realized that in the beginning of ep4 when Cisco and Gypsy are making out on Cisco's bed that… BRO I-
After Cisco asked Gypsy what her real name was she went to the bathroom and he stayed in bed but went to look for something in the little night table… that something was probably a condom… Y'ALL WHAT BAHBSAHBSHAS
Ralph Dibny used to be a dirty cop, I had Completely forgotten about this man
I just noticed that every time that Barry goes into a new room he looks around and i guess he tries to grasp as much information of it as possible and it's kinda cute
I like how Breacher always has a serious face but when Gypsy talks to him he smiles 🥺
CISKY KABDjahdHAHDSH
Also Breacher being Danny Trejo (Machete) from Spy Kids
"Good people don't destroy lives and call it noble"
Gypsy's real name is Cynthia and Breacher's Josh
Girl Night's out was an awesome episode, I mean we got to see the girls working together, Felicity, Drunk Barry and Cecile going #feminism it's just great
Amunet was kinda funny lmao Annoying but funny lol
BAHSHAHHA that scene when they get mugged by the guy that try to mugged Barry in s1 is hilariousss (ep6)
Ok but Black Bison (Mina) was right like why are things that belong to people that are still here in a museum?
Uff istg I hate Marlize sm like she's so manipulative and she just slapped Barry like bro u know ur guilty he's just doing his job ugh, I know she becomes good at the end but still 😤🙄
Harry and Caitlin 🥺
I love how Cisco's powers improved throughout the seasons. Like at the beginning he needed his goggles to vibe and now he just did it without them.
Bro even tho Amunet is evil she really just encouraged Caitlin and let her know that she is amazing for her, not only for killer frost.
I like Iris and Caitlin's friendship
The fact that she decided to go after Caitlin, instead of Barry shows how good of a leader she is
"those white girl dreads came straight from the 90s" BAHSHAHHA I love Cisco
Bro no wth I only saw Dominic for one episode and I already loved him 🥺
UGHHHH He didn't do anything this is not fair it makes me so upset like it was so infuriating to see him go through trial for something he didn't do🥺
Ig that's what he felt like when his dad-
I-
Noooooo
Caitlin holding Iris's hand during trial 🥺
Ralph really protected Joe and prevented him from basically destroying his life by planting fake evidence on Marlize's shoes
Ok but I love 千卂ㄥㄥㄖㄩㄒ's episode because I think it's like the first time that we get to see Killer Frost fighting alongside them 🥺
They really helped Caitlin turn into Killer Frost with... puppies 🥺😂❤️
Bro the amount of people that are in jail for crimes they didn't commit makes me so upset
And the fact that he got the same cell as his dad 🤌🏼😩
"I'm the fastest mop alive" I love how even when he's in prison he's still finds a way to smile or make Iris smile i-
Zoey Clark was James Jesse's girlfriend and Axel Walker's mother.
Ralph's first superhero name was stretchy man
Lexi La Roche was Caitlin's childhood bully
Omg just saw Nora for the first time in s4 ehhh actually probably not the first time since I think she appeared in the crossover but I skipped that episode so oh well 😂
She's so awkward- her Barry is showing lmaoooo
OMG I love this, Cecile just found out she can read minds lmaooo
JOE'S FACE BAHSHHHAHAHA
SHE'S A TELEPATH

BARRY'S A CHEATER ABSHAHAHH he cheated on poker lmaooo
Cecile would definitely be me if I had powers
Harry's actually pretty insecure
Mini Ralph and Mini Cisco are hilarious
I will forever love Big Sir like 🥺
The fact that he did get his happy ending 🥺☺️❤️
Bro I felt so bad when the bus metas were almost free and Devoe took them 🥺
I'm ngl I'd love to get a pep talk from killer frost
OMG THATS WHY HE NEEDED T•h•e W•e•e•p•e•r i never really understood why he needed him but it was to keep Marlize in love
BAHSHAHHA I love Cisco "Ralph I love you but you sleep on a futon" (a damp futon)
AND IRIS "you nasty" JAHSHAHA
Ok but I love Izzy Bowen's energy, she reminds me of Laurel sm
I love how Harry calls Cecile- DA Cecile Horton
The Flash s4:E14 "Subject 9" minute 12:14 - Cisco yelling "Iris" with the voice Crack is the most hilarious thing I've seen today lmaoo
Just realized that the first time we saw Izzy Bowen she was singing Somethin' Bad which was probably foreshadowing what was going to happen with her character
Bro izzy🥺
"AH SON OF A BREACH" BAHSHAHHA
Iris being a speedster is kinda cool and I like that her lightning is purple :)💜⚡️
Cisco just saved Iris 🥺
Poor Cisco, Harry just destroyed his little airplane thingie he was working on because he was looking for his thinking cap that Joe had because Harry was getting addicted to it
And Joe noticed because Harry had the same symptoms as Francine did 🥺
Bro that scene in ep18 where Marlize and Iris are fighting is pretty badass, especially when Iris basically stabs herself to get rid of Marlize or when Joe makes it into the Cortex with the Samuroid's head in a pole lmaooo😂
Ralph and Killer Frost 🥺
I love Snart from Earth-X
Bro no I love Cisco and Gypsy I cried when they broke up 🥺
Amunet's real name is Leslie Jocoy
Diggle throwing up after running with Barry every single time is hilarious😂
I love it when Cecile inhabits other people's minds right when she's about to give birth BAHSHAHHA SHE REALLY IMPERSONATED JOE PERFECTLY
Joe and Cecile baby's name is Jenna Marie West🥺☺️
This house is bitchin' BAHAHAHA I hated this cliffhanger like I loved it bc it wasn't that bad but it was yk?😂

Arrowverse Science Fair AU
~2004 National Highschool (Gr. 8-12) Science Fair
Projects:
Felicity Smoak (Gr. 9) – Computer software to detect card counters. She may or may not have hacked into online card games to test it (this wasn’t included in/on her project.)
Cisco Ramon (Gr. 8 or 9) – Piano playing robot. He thought it played better than Dante. His parents didn’t agree.
Caitlin Snow (Gr. 9) – Analysis of physiological response to various stimuli. She wanted to find stimuli that would help kids cope with traumatic experiences (say crashing their bike or losing their father.) If she was able to find something that made her mom show some/any emotion that would be a bonus.
Barry Allen (Gr. 9) – Growing crystals (lots of different and cool ones). His project started out as an attempt to make something special for Iris for her birthday but turned into an elaborate project. It ended up being a good choice because 1) it reminded Barry of his parents (the first science experiment they did together was grow Borax crystals on pipecleaner and 2) it followed Joe’s ‘your science fair project must make, not destroy things’ rule instated after Barry’s Gr. 6 project.
Alex (Gr. 9) and Kara (Gr. 8) Danvers – Birds in my Backyard. Eliza had insisted on Alex getting Kara involved in her science fair project this year. Alex was excited to show Kara the science fair experience she enjoyed but wanted to pick a topic she knew more about that Kara (her knowledge of math and science was intimidating enough without the superpowers). Seeing Kara’s interest in birds they decided to study birds in their backyard. With Alex’s design and Kara’s powers they built tall post’s and attached bird houses and feeders with differing properties. They then monitored which kinds of birds built nests and ate from where (with some help from Kara’s flight and X-ray vision). Alex also picked 5 nests from different species to chronicle the embryo and chick development. Kara enjoyed doing the project and learning about birds from Alex. The actual science fairs, not so much but those were Alex’s favourite part. Note: Streaky was locked in the house for the duration of the project so he wouldn’t eat any of the birds.
Winn Schott (Gr. 11) – Pop-up room/ room in a suitcase. Being in the foster system for the last couple years inspired Winn to design a room that collapsed to the size of a suitcase for easy transport but could expand in less than a minute into a nice-sized, fully-furnished, sound-proof room, so no matter how many times a foster kid was moved around they always had their own space and stuff. Also good for camping, travel and special short-term events (like waiting in line at conventions).
Lena Luthor (Gr. 5) – Oxygen absorbing/releasing crystal that could allow breathing underwater. After her Mum drown when Lena was four, she was determined to develop a simple way for people to breath under water. She was able to do just that by synthesizing a substance that absorbed and stored large amounts of oxygen then released it slowly (so if someone held in in their mouth, they could breathe underwater). She was happy and excited that her mom and older brother were interested in her project but a little frustrated and concerned that they were so focused on its ability to absorb all the oxygen from a room (in a big enough amount). Although she supposed it could be used in that capacity to control/extinguish fires. Note: although in elementary school, Lena got to compete against the high schoolers since her project was so advanced for her age.
Sara Lance (Gr. 11) – The Biomechanics of Dance and Martial Arts. As punishment for skipping classes, then sassing her teacher and principal when they tried to discipline her for skipping classes, Sara had to complete a science fair project. To make the best of it Sara chose something that interested her. In hindsight she wished she hadn’t. Her project was so good she was chosen to represent her school at the state and national science fair.
Ronnie Raymond (Gr. 9-12?)- Structural design to minimize Superman related damage in Metropolis. Ronnie was proud of his project and had enjoyed analyzing the powers of Metropolis’ hero, but he lost any chance he had at winning when he decided to leave his project to go flirt with Caitlin. At least Kara, whose project was next to his, seemed interested.
Hartley Rathaway – something to do with sound waves
Lily Stein (Gr. 11) – designing and comparing different miniaturized forms of renewable energy sources. She had some help from her dad.
Patty Spivot – Recreation of crime scene evidence using food models. A bunch of her friends (her whole cabin actually) from her summer camp for those interested in law enforcement came to support her.
-       Maggie Sawyer – seemed really interested in the bird project
-       Ralph Dibny – found every project that said it was OK to touch. His favourite was slime. To Patty’s surprise he didn’t break anything.
-       Dinah Drake – hung out with Patty most of the time. Talked to Hartley, beside her, about his project on sound waves for a bit (seemed kinda interested). Patty joined her when she got into a conversation with Sara, across the way, and Laurel about the implications of her biomechanics project in fighting and self-defence. The rest of the time they talked about that Vince guy from camp Dinah thought was cute.
-       Eddie Thawne – he hung out with Patty most of the time too but did do a lap of the fair with Iris, who was there supporting Barry, when she accepted his offer to buy her something at the concession.
Notable events:
- Clark came to see Alex and Kara’s project and brought James and Lois with him. Kara and Clark (very subtly) tested the models on the project beside them that had been abandoned and were said to be superman proof/resistant. They were very impressed to discover the models did indeed stand-up to heat vison, freeze breath and super-strength leading Clark to believe the student had a bright future. James spent most of his time talking to Winn about his pop-up room project because, “Don’t you think these would be way better than cubicles, the Daily Planet should definitely purchase some.”
- Cat Grant, a young reporter from the National City Tribune pushing a stroller, came around and interviewed all the contestants because, “What better place to find the next world changing innovator or innovation” as she put it when she stopped to talk to Clark (more like flirt Kara thought). Alex used Clark distracting Cat as an opportunity to play with the baby in the stroller. This was the only time during the entire science fair Alex was distracted, except maybe when Maggie had come, but they mainly talked about the project like Alex did with everyone, which left Alex wondering why it felt different. During their entire interview Cat called Kara Kira, much to her annoyance. At least the baby seemed to like her. This interview sparked a conversation between Kara, Lois and Clark about journalism which Iris overhead while she was visiting Barry and joined in.
- Graduate students Ray Palmer and Curtis Holt were volunteer judges and ticket takers. Curtis wore a varsity jacket over his shirt and tie which covered his name tag, but at every project he judged he would describe every aspect as terrific, so the contestants started calling him Mr. Terrific. While judging Barry’s project they began a discussion about their favourite elements/minerals/gems. Barry couldn’t decide so joked he liked Barium. Ray shared his love for dwarf star alloy with a ‘quick’ lecture about its rumoured properties and potential uses. Curtis listed at least 10 compounds essential for modern tech as he flip-flopped back and forth trying to decide a favourite and Lex Luthor who was visiting his sister’s project beside them interjected that he favoured kryptonite. While taking tickets Curtis witnessed the following interaction. He asked Damian Darhk, who was carrying baby Nora, what brought him to the science fair. He responded with “These are the brightest young minds in the country and being young means they are malleable. So, there is nowhere better to recruit future talent for my enterprise.” Malcolm Merlyn, who was behind, him added “I know exactly what you mean with what the world’s coming to we’re going to need a bright mind to save it.” This led Tommy, who was accompanying him, to say “I thought we were just here to support the Queen’s.” Then one of the other judges, Dr. Harrison Wells aka Eobard Thawne in disguise, added “No your Dad is right. This world’s next HERO could be in this very room. I’ve already made a list of students to keep my eye on.” He pulled out a small piece of paper from his pocket. On it Curtis saw four names: Hartley Rathaway, Cisco Ramon, Caitlin Snow and Ronnie Raymond. This led to a long conversation between the three men about numerous threats to society, the country and the world and the possible drastic solutions that would need to be employed to stop them. When they left Curtis turned to Ray and asked, “Was it just me or were those Doomsday Dudes really creepy?” “What” Ray replied his attention clearly being pulled from elsewhere. But before Curtis could answer a voice behind him said “Doomsday Dudes is a terrible nickname you should call them the Legion of Doom.” Curtis turned to find Cisco. “Just saying,” he continued, “anyway I heard there’s free Big Belly Burger for the contestants. When’s that coming?” Ray had missed the entire conversation Curtis was asking about because he had been making funny faces at baby Nora the whole time hoping to make her smile or laugh but she had just stared at him with her big blue eyes.
- Queen consolidated gave out a $1500 scholarship and a summer internship at the applied sciences division. This year Moira and Robert had made Oliver come and brought 9-year-old Thea. Oliver was tasked with watching Thea who ran around the entire science fair wanting to look at and touch all the projects even the ones with big ‘Do Not Touch’ signs on them. She spent at least an hour trying to get everybody around the robot pianist to sing and dance with her. Most people ignored her although she was able to get Cisco, Winn, Stein, Joe, Kara (who kept trying to get Alex to join) and to Oliver’s surprise Malcolm Merlyn all to sing with her and they were all surprisingly good. She also got many people to dance including the Lance girls. She even convinced Cisco to make the robot play some of her favourite songs from Disney movies. Barry was very happy that he was able to convince Iris to dance with him for a couple songs with just a little encouragement from Thea and despite Kara’s constant encouragement Alex only agreed to dance when Maggie asked. Oliver had to present his family’s award which went to Felicity. When her name was announced Donna yelled “Woohoo, that’s my daughter! Way to go sweetie!” which earned a whispered “Mom, ssshh” and accompanied eye roll from Felicity as she headed to the stage with her head down and cheeks flushed. When she got onstage Oliver presented her with her award and Felicity began to babble, “Thanks. This is so cool. I’m such a big fan of yours… well not yours… your company… your family’s company. But uh you seem cool too. I could be a fan of yours, but not like a creepy stalker fan just like a normal supportive fan, ya know. I’m sorry, I’m rambling, it’s just, I don’t know what to say. Your very handsome… and I just said that out loud. I’m so sorry.” She stops and whispers “come on Smoak, pull yourself together,” then takes a deep breath before addressing Oliver again, “Thank-you again for the award and I look forward to working with you, or for you. I’m just gonna go now.” Oliver couldn’t help smiling as she left and thinking that just maybe if she had been around when Thea was partnering everyone up to dance he may have just participated.
- Kara quickly got bored of standing by her project and started wandering around to talk to the other contestants. She spent a good chunk of time talking to Barry. Tried to join in on a heated debate between Felicity, Cisco and Winn about the best language to code in but quickly left when she had no idea what they were talking about. She ended up spending most of her time with Lena. They talked about their projects, their lives and interests and about dealing with new and scary situations especially when you feel different from everyone else and learnt that they were both adopted. However, the whole time they were talking Lena’s eyes kept scanning the room as if waiting for something to jump out and scare her. Kara learnt why when a woman Kara thought must be Lena’s mother showed up and menacingly questioned why she was distracting her daughter.
- J’onn came in disguise to check out the Danvers sister’s project

A/N: oh my god, I got this request so long like I’m shocked by how long has went by before I’m posting it...
WARNINGS: No happy endings, kind of really sad I think...
~Master~
~Flash Master~
It wasn’t supposed to be like this. You weren’t supposed to be here.
Barry knew getting you involved in the Flash business was dumb, but you had powers and wanted to help your brother with taking down the bad guys.
But then things happen and you ended up exactly where you are right now. Laying in a casket in the ground.
Barry ignored the tears rolling down his cheeks as he stuffed his hands into his pockets.
“I was supposed to protect you.” He whispered, blaming himself fulling for your death as his breath hitched, sputtering as he drew in his next breath. “I was supposed to be there.”
Joe watched Barry from a distance, leaning against a tree as he dealt with his own pain. You were his daughter, biological or not and losing you was not something he was prepared for at all.
He ran a hand over the bottom half of his face, wiping away any tears he created. He didn’t know how long he stood there for, just focusing on the fact that no matter how he stood there, you weren’t going to just pop back up with one of your famous jokes, making the whole team relax and laugh a little.
He didn’t say anything as he walked up to Barry, letting the man collapse like a child into Joe’s chest as he hugged him. Joe had only seen Barry cry like this twice in his life. When his mom died when he was 11 and you were 9 and when his dad died. And now here he was having just lost the one person who knew him inside out and better than he knew himself.
“It’ll be okay, Barr. It’ll be okay.” Barry didn’t say anything as he continued to cry.
Cisco hadn’t stopped crying since you died. He, like Barry, kept blaming himself for letting you get involved. His girlfriend, the love of his life, was dead and he didn’t want to stop crying. It didn’t seem real to him. You couldn’t just be gone. He sat in the living of the apartment you shared in the darkness, looking at a picture of the two of you that you had taken on a date. Cisco had taken you to an overlook of the city, setting up a picnic for the two of you that resulted in slow dancing to some music he played out of his phone. He let out another sob as he touched your face, feeling the cold glass under the pads of his fingers before collapsing on to his couch.
His fingers drifted over to the drawer next to him as he reached over and opened it. He felt around before his landed on a velvet box and with a pained sigh, he pulled it out. The diamond ring inside just sat there, meant to be sitting on your finger right now but Cisco never got the chance to ask.
He closed the box as fast as he could, the smacking sound echoing into the silence as he closed his eyes, hugging the photo tight and never letting go because when he let go of you, he lost you.
Your death was the hardest for your brother and boyfriend, but the pain wasn’t eluded from Caitlin’s life. When Barry became the Flash and you joined the team, you got close to the brunette. She became your best friend and you spent hours in the medbay helping her as much as you could while you joked and made fun of everyone. After your funeral, everyone had gone separate ways and Caitlin found yourself perched on her medical stool, staring at the stainless steel in front of her. Her eyes were watery but she hadn’t cried yet and it made trying to look places hard. She didn’t want to feel the tears down her face and she didn’t want to feel the way her chest constructed as she imagined you sitting next to her trying to make her feel better.
Iris was sitting in your old room, the one you and Barry used to share when you were younger. You still had some of your stuff in there, things you hadn’t yet moved from Joe’s to your new apartment. Iris stood up from the bed and went over to one of the shelves. It wasn’t hard to tell what things were yours, you liked to keep your things in order, nice and neat little places for everything while Barry had a tendency to just throw his things up, not caring where they ended up. Iris smiled through her tears as she found the stack of your journals, but one of them looked out of place, new and stuck out more than the others.
When she pulled the journal out she realized it was a photo album, one you had been working on for the team for Christmas. Iris flipped the cover open, looking at the first pages of pictures before closing the book, a sad smile across her face as she called the team, telling them all to come to StarLabs.
Cisco didn’t want to go, but after Iris said she had something of yours for the team, he felt the need to go, like he owed it to you.
Everyone arrived before Iris, standing in the cortex with solemn looks. Cisco’s face was red and his nose was stuffy, Barry looking more cleaned up but equally distraught. Joe put a hand on his back, rubbing it up and down as Caitlin watched, standing in the entrance of the medbay and away from everyone else as Iris’ shoes started clicking down the hall.
There pace slowed as Iris entered the room, looking around to see the weeping faces of her family all around her.
Everyone saw the book in her hand, confusion across their faces as Joe sighed.
“Oh my god,” he whispered as he left Barry’s side, coming up and slowly taking the photo album from Iris’ hands. “I forgot about this.”
“Wait, you knew about this?” Iris asked as everyone came forward, trying to get a better look. Joe just nodded and flipped open the book, showing everyone the first page of pictures.
“How do you think she got some of these pictures?” They all continued to look through, pointing out and laughing at some of the pictures or staying quiet and smiling at the others. It wasn’t until they got to the end before they realized not once did they feel sad. You gave them these memories specifically because they were happy times.
Barry, you and Cisco playing laser tag, Caitlin and you dressed in bridesmaids dresses and Iris in her wedding gown, you kissing Cisco’s cheek when he finally asked you out, and one Cisco took of you, Iris, and Joe where he’s hugging his two girls, kissing the top of Iris’ head as he squeezed you in close.
When the book was closed no one moved, gathered so closed to together that it just felt natural. Barry’s arms were wrapped around Iris’ waist, Joe’s hand on his shoulder, and Caitlin hung off of Cisco’s shoulder, as he held the book, bringing it up against his chest much like the photo he held earlier. Barry was the first person to break the formation, taking the book with permission down to Cisco’s lab. Everyone followed without saying a word before they stopped in front of your desk. Much like your old room, it was organized, a stark contrast from how Cisco kept his side. Barry cleared off a small section of your shelf, placing the book on it standing up so the pages fluttered open, showcasing the pictures to the world. It was a beautiful scene and without thinking and pulled out the velvet box he put in his pocket, taking one look down at it before putting it next to your album.
It felt fitting to keep the ring- your ring there with the album. It almost made it feel as if you hadn’t left them.
Feedback Please!

It Had To Be You
Ch.28: Rogue Ending // Story Masterlist
Fandom: The Flash
Pairings: Barry Allen x Female OC
Pronunciation of OC’s name: Bell-en. The last syllable has an emphasis so it’s not pronounced like ‘Helen’ would be.

Chapter Summary: Belén and Barry enlist Snart to help them transport metahumans out of the city all while they continue to figure out how to move on from the fact Belén almost dated Cisco.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"In precisely two days the Particle Accelerator is set to get back online," Wells stood before Rayan and Angie "And knowing the Flash he will want to protect those inside the pipeline so he'll move them. That's when we strike."
"But I get Azul out?" Angie made sure to know before she was to do anything he asked. "He shouldn't die with the rest of the rodents you caught."
"You can do whatever you want with those metahumans - I could care less. I need to get back into the Accelerator and in the meanwhile you're going to keep good old STAR Labs busy. And do you hear me?" Thawne specifically looked at Rayan for that one. "Only keep them busy. You don't kill-"
"-your precious Flash, yes I understand," Rayan said plainly, though it seemed like he wasn't paying much attention. His eyes were locked on a water pipe above them that was dripping water. Every now and then some water drops were stopped midway and forced back into the pipe. "But my sister's free game and I so want to see her again."
Thawne watched him for a minute as the metahuman repeatedly shoved water back into the pipe. Though his health was deteriorating, Rayan was becoming much more skilled with his powers. His telekinesis was developing finely to the point of almost being able to control a human's actions. If he wanted to, Rayan could put up an interesting fight.
"Is your silent stare supposed to mean something?" Rayan asked without looking away from the pipe.
"I'm just wondering..." Thawne purposely trailed off.
Rayan's gaze shifted down to the man. "Wondering what?"
"If you could actually kill your own sister - your twin."
Thawne's smirk only irritated Rayan. "I'm sorry, your condescending-murdering self is asking me if I am capable of killing someone? Seriously?"
"You're talking about killing your own blood, Rayan. It's pretty cold. Can you look Belén in the eyes and kill her?"
"Spare me the talk," Rayan turned his back on the speedster. "I don't have siblings anymore, so...what happens will happen."
And he truly meant that.

The group except for Iris stood in the cortex listening to Cisco and his apparent discovery of Wells' old wheelchair. "I kept asking myself, why would Wells pretend to need a wheelchair?" Cisco made a round on the wheelchair, taking occasional sips of his soda.
"Sympathy, I suppose," Caitlin shrugged, everyone else agreeing with her with nods.
Cisco smirked. "That's what I thought at first, but he's the man in yellow. He's the Reverse-Flash. He's much smarter than that. Sympathy can't be the only reason."
"Yeah, it was a misdirect. Just like everything else Wells has done," Joe agreed, although they still didn't understand Cisco's point. "I mean, the last person we'd suspect to be the man in yellow is someone who lost the use of their legs."
"That's exactly right, Joe. Which is why I started messing around with the wheelchair," Cisco put down his soda on the floor and then turned over the wheelchair. He pulled a compartment lid out and revealed some sort of device stuck inside. "And that's when I found this."
"Daaaamn. You can't get that at Radio Shack," Joe's eyes widened.
"Looks like the tech inside Gideon…" Barry remarked as he looked at the device and only the device. Cisco didn't push him further.
"I measured the output, and this thing is kicking off serious juice. I mean, we're talking enough to power all of Central City."
"Why would Dr. Wells want something like that?" Belén quietly asked.
"I think this thing is some kind of battery…"
"Battery?"
"As in, Wells was using it to power himself. To gain more speed," Cisco gave a brief glance to Barry. "And that's why he's so much faster than you."
Barry, in return, gave a small nod of acknowledgement but nothing more. Cisco still didn't push.
One of the computers from the main desk began to beep with an alarm. Cisco rushed over with his soda back in hand and looked at the screen. "The accelerator, it's been reactivated!"
Caitlin hurried over to see for herself. "It can't be!"
"How is that possible? It blew up," Joe said what the remainder had been thinking of.
"It had to have been rebuilt," Caitlin theorized after checking more of the accelerator's state.
"That could...only be done by Wells, no?" Belén blinked, her stomach churning.
Caitlin agreed with Belén but was still having trouble seeing its logic. "Even if he did rebuild it, how did Dr. Wells turn the Particle Accelerator on?"
And then it clicked in Barry's mind. "He's here. That's why we couldn't find him. He's been inside S.T.A.R. Labs the whole time."
He and Joe hurried for the hallways. Cisco made to leave but warned Caitlin and Belén to stay behind. He rushed out but returned in a second for his soda, ignoring the odd looks from the two women.
Joe led the way into pipeline with a gun aimed ahead in case anything popped up. "Cisco, what did you bring in that orange soda for?"
"Whenever something happens with the Reverse-Flash, liquid floats in the air. You know, Barry's fish tank, Wells's champagne, remember that? If this does the same thing, we'll know that Wells is in there."
They stopped in front of the pipeline. Barry glanced at Cisco, for the first time, and nodded. "Do it."
Cisco placed a hand on the computer beside the pipeline to open it up. As the door lifted, the three stepped into the actual accelerator.
"Man... this... is... big," Joe couldn't help being astounded at the sight of the incredibly large particle accelerator.
Cisco froze when his soda began to rise in midair. "Oh, God. Guys…"
Wells sped right past them and of course Barry sped after him.
"Barry!" Joe turned after the two speedster that were already far gone.
'Prisoner release. Protocol initiated.'
Cisco saw one of the prison pods begin to love forwards. "Oh, no, no, no, no!"
It turned out to be Shawna's prison pod - aka Peek-a-boo - and soon as the pod lost its power, she disappeared. She reappeared behind Joe and headbutted him with his own gun before disappearing again. She reappeared on the other side of the pipeline and shot a machinery part that forced the door to close, leaving Cisco and Joe on the other side.
Caitlin and Belén had run down after the release protocol had been activated.
"Peek-a-boo," Shawna smirked at them.
Belén grabbed Caitlin's arm and yanked her down the hallway. But, Shawna appeared before them at the entrance of the building and kicked Belén back before hitting Caitlin over the head.
"Do you have any idea what it's like to be stuck in that box?" Shawna kicked Caitlin on the stomach and watched as the brunette rolled on the floor.
"She didn't lock you up! I did!" Belén rushed forwards and tried punching Shawna old style. Shawna was well prepared for a basic fight and grabbed Belén by the hair, smacking the metahuman against the wall.
Belén hissed as she slid down the wall. Shawna grasped her by the neck and pinned her on the wall while aiming the gun at her. "Now you're the one who's gonna go into a box. In the ground!"
Belén could actually feel her skin prickling as it turned green. As of late, there were many things she was angry about and Shawna poked at the last bit of patience Belén had. Shawna flinched when Belén's hand grasped her arm.
"It's either the pod or the coffin for you," Belén warned before her vines drifted from her fingers to Shawna's wrist.
"Ew! What is that!?" Shawna freaked when the vines embedded on her skin. "Get it off me!" she cried while the vines crawled up her arm.
Belén smirked without even moving an inch. She was clearly enjoying her powers at work and was somewhat disappointed when Shawna was whacked on the head with a large, metal wrench courtesy of Iris.
"Those are some wicked powers you have," Iris admitted after a second. She could see the vines on Shawna's skin slowly disappearing now that they had no contact with Belén.
"New side and all," Belén reminded with a light shrug. She moved to help Caitlin from the floor when she groaned. "My head hurts."
"You may have a concussion," Caitlin predicted while she got up with Iris' help.
"Of course I do."
~0~
While Caitlin checked herself and Belén in the cortex, the rest went to return Shawna to her prison pod. Caitlin pulled the flashlight from Belén's eyes and set it over the metal table.
"I was right, you do have a concussion so…"
"Staying awake, got it," Belén nodded. She sighed after a moment and looked up at Caitlin. "Sorry I didn't get Shawna before she kicked you. I think I panicked in the beginning..."
"It's okay, it happens to all of us sometimes," Caitlin returned, looking very honest but Belén still blamed herself for letting things get that far.
"I've been off my game lately," Belén said even though she thought it was pretty obvious to everyone.
Caitlin smiled sadly, knowing how difficult things were for her friends at the moment. Despite the three having some unofficial agreement to continue working to capture Wells, Belén, Barry and Cisco didn't interact how they used to. It was all short, brief sentences when it came to speaking with Barry. Even between Belén and Cisco their conversations were short and brief because they didn't want to give Barry another reason to be upset.
"He'll come around," Caitlin put a comforting hand on Belén's arm.
"I don't know about that..." Belén mumbled.
"I hope," Belén said honestly. It'd been days, after all, since their fallout.
Their conversation was cut short when Joe and Iris brought in none other than Eddie from the pipeline. Cisco hurried in behind them and explained where they found the weakened detective. Caitlin immediately ran some exams on him in case Wells had done anything. After a thorough checkover, Caitlin concluded he was only a bit dehydrated and other than that he'd be fine. Barry returned after a long chase after Wells without success. Despite his tiredness, he was incredibly relieved to find Eddie had been found.
"Eddie, why did he take you?" Joe asked Eddie after everything had been settled.
"I don't know. He said that we're... family. Said his real name was Eobard Thawne," Eddie shook his head, still trying to come to terms with the idea of him and Wells being related.
"Eobard Thawne?" Cisco dreaded the familiarity of that name. "Just like in my dream."
"Did he say anything else?" Joe further asked. "I mean, anything that could help us figure out what he's really after?"
"I... he didn't say much," Eddie felt bad he couldn't be much help. "He just kept working on some tube."
"A tube? What did it look like?"
"Metallic, futuristic. He said it was the key to him getting back everything that was taken from him."
"The key?" Barry felt even more lost. "I don't understand."
"Wha... Yeah, I don't know. Look, I just want to go home. Is that okay?"
Caitlin gently removed the tape holding the IV needle on Eddie's hand. "Yes, of course."
Iris helped Eddie stand. "I'll make sure he gets some rest."
Barry waited until Iris and Eddie were gone to continue speaking. "What do you think Wells was talking about?"
But then the computer went off again and Cisco, once more, went to check on it. "Oh, no, no, no!" he said with widened eyes and ran out the room without so much of a hint of the problem.
"Did anyone else get free again?" Belén sighed as she came to the desk herself.
"What?" Barry said without thinking. Belén raised her head at him, surprised that had actually been directed at her.
Caitlin sensed the new awkwardness and made to cut it. "Wells initiated the release of a metahuman which turned out to be Shawna's. Belén and Iris got her though."
Barry's eyes widened as he now stared at Belén. There was a pang in her heart as she recognized the glint of worry in his eyes.
Cisco's voice cut through the silence that fell over in the room. Belén was startled to find the computer in front of her now serving as a video chat with Cisco. The man stood in front of a rock wall with a metal tube glowing blue sitting behind.
"Cisco?" Joe and the others moved to the desk to see as well.
"Um, are you seeing this? That's the tube Eddie was talking about," Cisco nodded to the device. "It's some sort of future power source. That's what's charging up the accelerator."
"Can you shut it down?" Barry inquired.
"Do you see a power button anywhere on this thing?" Cisco's sarcasm dripped in his words. "Dude, this thing is from the future. It's beyond me. I press, or touch, or cut the wrong thing, I could bring the whole building down."
"Okay," Barry saw his error and accepted it. "How long until it's fully functional?"
"Best I can tell, 36 hours."
Barry nodded. "That's when Wells will be back."
"Why would Dr. Wells want the Particle Accelerator to work again?" Belén asked, looking at the others for some answers. "I thought the whole point was to make it not work?"
No one could answer her question.
"And what about the metahumans still in their containment cells?" Joe asked and made the others think for a bit.
Cisco shivered as he got the idea. "They're toast."
"We put them down there and now their lives are in danger because of us," Caitlin sighed as she got to thinking of the true danger those people were in.
"Look, I think you all know I've never been a fan of this arrangement here. I thought the whole plan was to rehabilitate them and set them free," Joe sternly told the group.
"It was," Caitlin argued but under the man's look she added weakly, "We've been a little busy."
"Well, if they stay in there, the die," Belén stated and sighed, "And if we let them go, they destroy the city. So...what do we do about them?"
Barry had been thinking about for a couple minutes now and concluded his idea was the only one they had left. "We're gonna have to move them."
Joe gave him a look. "Move them where? Iron Heights can't handle meta-humans."
"You're right, but Lian Yu can."
"What the hell's a "Lian Yu?"
Before Barry could explain, Belén did. "Lian Yu is the island where Oliver was stranded for five years. I heard A.R.G.U.S built some sort of covert military prison on it." She met eyes with a surprised Barry and added for his benefit, "He told me a while ago."
Barry tore his eyes from her, not quite ready to have a conversation with her...much to her disappointment. "It's where we sent Captain Boomerang. Oliver keeps his worst criminals there. They won't be able to escape, and more importantly, they won't be able to hurt anybody."
"Great. So we ship them from one illegal black site to another?" Joe was still not convinced with this idea, but he suspected it wouldn't matter. "And how do we move them to Oliver's own private Alcatraz?"
"I'll call him," Barry said, standing from his chair. "Maybe he can help with transport. And Cisco... if we do this, nobody can get loose."
Cisco nodded. "I might have a way of getting them out of here safely."
"Alright, get on it," Barry instructed and Cisco agreed, getting a head start out of the room.
"Barr, this is insane," Joe shook his head.
"Joe, we have to do this."
"You don't think that if we start bussing super-villains through downtown, nobody's gonna notice?"
"Oh, they'll notice. That's where you'll come in," Barry couldn't help smile as he began to tell his next part of the plan.

The next day, Belén was sitting silently at her desk, meant to be writing an article for the week yet her screen barely contained a measly paragraph. She had mind clouded with all sorts of thoughts ranging from the Particle Accelerator to her missing sister to...Barry. She mindlessly tapped her pen on the edge of her desk as she wondered what kind of solutions she could offer in case their primary one would fail.
Hearing her cellphone ringing, Belén forced herself to pay attention. She looked at the caller and saw it was Cisco.
"H-hello?"
"Bells, listen, we need you to come in," Cisco began, and sounding disappointed Belén deduced their plan hadn't worked.
"We need another idea, don't we?"
"Yeah...Joe couldn't get the CCPD to work with them," Cisco sighed. "Barry's coming over to think again, but...it would be good if you came too."
"Yeah, yeah...okay, I'm coming," Belén hung up and put her phone down on the desk. She rubbed her face and faced her screen again.
"Hey," Iris stopped by her desk with some papers in her hands. "Look what just got dumped on my desk?" she waved her papers in the air, leaving Belén to guess.
"A new assignment?"
"Not my assignment," Iris rolled her eyes. "Spencer Young just got fired so I got her topic."
"She got fired?" Belén looked to the empty desk that once belonged to their co-worker. "Since when?"
"Since yesterday - where have you been?" Iris knew it was a dumb question to ask since Belén hadn't exactly been paying attention to her surroundings for days. "Larkin finally caught up with her lying words and fired her, soooo I now get her unfinished work."
"Well, serves her right for not being an honest journalist," Belén said with a careless shrug afterwards. She hardly passed words with the ex-employee and it was for a good reason: she was mean. "So what's the topic about?"
"A spree of robberies done with - and I quote-" Iris made a quotation mark in the air with one hand while the other held the paper to read from, "-a freeze ray gun, a firey gun, and a golden gun. Sound familiar?"
A big scowl came to Belén's face. "Seriously, the last thing we need is for the Rogues to be back."
"Mhm, I'll do some digging on them but I don't think they'll be doing any more crimes since their thing is to do a series of robberies then disappear," Iris put her papers back together.
"I'll pass on the message to the others just in case," Belén said once Iris got leaving. She returned to her computer with the intention of continuing on her assignment - this time for real - when an idea popped into her head. Oh, you're crazy.
She snagged her phone back from the desk and dialed for a different number.

Barry was shifting on the park bench he was sitting on. The mere place brought back memories that reminded Barry of what he didn't have at the moment. He wondered if this was a trick being played on him, just to toy with his mind. Well, he didn't have more time to think on it when he saw Belén walking up to him.
"You came," Belén said with a sigh of relief. She was worried that Barry wouldn't show up at the last moment because of their disagreements. While they hadn't exactly argued, it was still pretty clear they were not in the best places. Belén didn't want to push Barry into talking when he had shown no interest in doing the same.
"I said I would," Barry reminded and got up. "Though I don't think I can care for this precise stop," his eyes flickered to the nearby fountain.
"Sorry, I just...needed to talk in a place where no one would bother us," Belén said, biting her lip, "I think I have an idea on how to get the metahumans out of the city."
"You do?" Barry's eyebrows rose with curiosity.
"But I don't think you'll like it…"
"Let me hear it."
"Iris just told me the Rogues are back in the city," Belén knew it was a big thing to say so she started to ramble on her evidence, "There were recent crime scenes that left a specific evidence trail to them. The police are very sure that Captain Cold is back in the city and doing his usual spree of crimes - I mean there's been frozen part of buildings that only a cold gun can do along with the occasional golden trails which really means that his sister is with him this time-"
"Belén, breathe!" Barry had put his hands on her arms to stop her from her rapid rambling. Belén blinked and blushed as she saw him so up close. Barry had realized what he'd done and instantly let her go, taking even a step backwards to get his head clear. "Just...just take a pause and breathe," he repeated nervously.
Glumly, Belén continued on with her original plan. "I was thinking we could find Snart and ask for his help."
"What!?"
"Snart is the only one crazy and tough enough to help us with all these metas! And since Oliver's not answering I think this is our only option."
Barry stayed quiet as he thought about it. He had tried getting in contact with Stein and Ronnie too but couldn't get through. Without the CCPD's help either, they really didn't have much options left. "Okay," he gave in. "I'll find Snart and talk to him-"
"Nu-uh," Belén cut him off with a frown. "We will and before you open that mouth to tell me 'no', I'm reminding you that this was my idea."
"You are not going," Barry gave her a sharp look but Belén wasn't stepping down.
In fact, just to prove herself, she stepped closer to him again, looking up at him defiantly. "Who says?"
"Belén…" Barry forced himself to look down at her without backing down as well. But in reality, he was beginning to fall under her charmful gaze and scent. God, I miss her, was all that ran through his mind.
Belén's eyes flickered from his eyes to his lips, and continued to make her case. "It's my idea and I'm not letting you take it just like that. So either you take me with you, or you get to discover how mad a poisonous Azalea can get."
"Is that a threat?" Barry raised an eyebrow, feeling a tingle down his back as her lips stretched into a smirk.
"Take it however you'd like." Belén was pretty sure she was causing an effect on him judging by the fascinated look in Barry's eyes...and it made her feel pretty damn special knowing she was still the only one that could make him feel like that. "So, what's it going to be?"
Barry swallowed hard. "Well...lead the way, Miss Azalea."

It wasn't difficult to find out where Snart tended to spend some time after looking at some of the evidence left behind with the CCPD. Barry let Belén walk first into a solitary, pretty slum-looking bar where Leonard Snart was at. Barry didn't like the idea of having to bring Belén along but apparently he was out-charmed here.
Snart was able to sense their presence and turned from the counter with an unexpected smile. "Well, well, well. If it isn't the scarlet speedster." His eyes then flickered to the brunette woman and his smile turned to a smirk. "And shooter-girl."
"For real? I have a name," Belén frowned.
Barry didn't care for the interest Snart had in Belén and spoke over them to get things moving. "We need to talk."
With raised eyebrows, Snart moved over to them and took a casual seat on the edge of the pool table near them. "Oh? And you went looking for little ole me?"
"Shut up," Belén spoke over again. "We need your help with a problem."
"Mm, that's not the first time someone of yours asks for my help," Snart tilted his head her way with a knowing smile. Belén, startled, looked up at Barry out of reflex. Before Barry could snap at him, Snart went on. "Must be pretty desperate to come asking for my assistance, but I'll bite. What do you need?"
"Help transporting some people out of the city," Barry was able to say without showcasing his irritation with him.
"How many?"
"Six. Six very bad, very angry people who have powers."
"Powers, hmm? So you want me to what? Freeze the problem?" Snart looked at both who nodded their heads. "Protect you from them if anything goes wrong? First rule of business: always protect yourself. I'm not gonna help usher your enemies out of town."
"Oh, but you consorted with others to get what you want," Belén snapped. "Listen you're gonna do it because you need to do it."
"Oh, and why is that?" Snart feigned incredible interest in what she had to say, irritating both metahumans even more.
"These people are your enemies as well-"
"I doubt it-"
"They will destroy Central City which is your city as well," Belén paused, hoping he'd get the point but apparently not as he responded with a very easy 'not my problem'. "Imagine a city you can't rob because there's no more people to rob because they're all dead?"
Snart looked to the side, pausing to think. "It's a compelling argument. But if I'm gonna help you out. I'll need something in return."
"Yeah, we imagined," Barry rolled his eyes.
Snart pulled a pen from his jacket and moved to the nearest table. He got a menu and wrote down something which he then slid to Barry. "This."
Barry took one look and saw an outrageous amount of money. He laughed and looked at Snart. "No. this is impossible. We can't do that."
"Then I can't help you," Snart turned to leave when Belén angrily reached for his arm, and because she was angry her hand holding his arm turned green and scaly. Before Snart could realize, Barry lunged in a snap and yanked her hand from Snart's arm and kept it tightly shielded under his hand. They could not let her identity slip as well.
"There has to... Snart, there has to be something you want that we can get," Barry tried to reason with the man who keenly watching the two.
"Let me think about it," Snart only mildly relented. Perhaps there was something else, he just had to consider it more closely. With a wide smile, he turned to leave.
Almost as quick, Barry took Belén away as well. He stopped them in another part of the neighborhood to check her. She was breathing fast as he released her hand to reveal it was still its pretty bright green color.
"Barry, I-I-I didn't...I didn't mean to…" she tried to explain but Barry shook his head at her.
"It's fine, don't worry about it," he tried to soothe her, knowing that only calming her down would make her hand return to normal. "Just breathe, okay? Do that, c'mon," he mimicked the breathing pattern they had worked on long ago for these sorts of situations.
Belén quickly tried doing that but she kept remembering her slip that nearly cost her identity secret. "I-I'm s-s-sorry, I could have...I could have jeopardize it a-all I'm so sorry-"
Barry pulled her into a tight hug, a bit shaken himself from her reaction. He'd forgotten, honestly, that she was still trying to get a better control of her new side. He also remembered he had promised to help her get control no matter what. "It's going to be okay," he whispered, rubbing a hand over Belén's back.

After getting back to STAR Labs, Caitlin took Belén into one of the side rooms to give her another checkover to see if she'd been negatively affected by her sudden outburst of powers. Meanwhile, Cisco and Barry remained in the main cortex where the former had taken apart Wells' wheelchair along with its futuristic device in hopes of putting something together for their metahuman transfer. As Cisco worked, he kept glancing over at Barry who was keenly staring at the side room Belén and Caitlin were in. He hadn't muttered a word to Cisco.
Here goes nothing. Cisco took in a deep breath and spoke up to the metahuman while trying to pull something apart. "She really likes you, dude, make no doubt about that." Barry said nothing except briefly glancing back at him before returning his eyes to the side room. "Barry, c'mon, are you really going to let things end because I asked her out before you?"
"Cisco, I'm not doing this now," Barry crossed his arms and turned a bit to the side.
"Well tough because I don't know when to quit," Cisco put down the device he was working on and sighed again, this time speaking much more seriously. "I asked her out like four months after your coma, okay? She wasn't sure at first but she said yes and I took her to dinner at-"
Barry shook his head and turned to Cisco, making a face that just showcased his disapproval of this. "Cisco, I don't want to hear about this...date thing." That was the problem: his mind would only show him possible bits of Belén and Cisco dating. It was what made it difficult for him to talk to either of them. It's what made it hard to move on from it.
"You have to," Cisco adamantly replied. "You have to know what happened in order to finally move on."
Barry looked to the side without another word considering what Cisco believed was pretty correct. He was dying to know what exactly - and he meant exactly - what happened during that apparent date. Maybe it would help his mind in some way...
"We went to the movies, saw a funny movie and then we took a walk," Cisco continued. "It was fun, I'm not going to lie, because Bells is just so much fun to be around. She was cute-" Barry looked back at him with a warning expression but Cisco shrugged in response. "Hey, I'm not lying here. Your girlfriend's hot, okay? That's why I asked her out. But in the end, when we tried to kiss...we couldn't." And it did make Barry a little less concerned when he saw for himself how Cisco honestly seemed okay with it. "Bells and I realized we were friends, like best friends, and we liked that. Yeah, she's hot, as is Caitlin, as is Iris, - she's my attractive best friend who happened to end up going out with my other best friend. And I'm so happy for you two. Honest."
Barry sighed, shaking his head. "Cisco, I...it's just...it would've been better to hear from you first…"
"I know, and that's my bad, I accept it," Cisco raised a gloved hand. "I should've been a good friend and told you about this when you asked Caitlin and I to help you ask Bells out."
Barry stared at him and slowly began to smile. "But you were. Belén said she asked you not to say anything...and you didn't. You promised her and you kept it."
"Look, dude, I have never tried anything with her since our date," Cisco meant to clarify once and for all. "She's Bells, my best friend, and only my friend."
Barry nodded to show he acknowledged Cisco's words, but he didn't feel like he was quite there to be okay. "Thank you."
"Of course," Cisco hoped his words would allow Barry to talk with Belén now.
A couple minutes later, Caitlin brought out a much more calm Belén into the room. Barry turned back expectantly. "She's fine," Caitlin began, placing a hand on Belén's shoulder, "It's actually very interesting how some points of that other side can affect Belén and others don't."
"Yeah, trust me, it's not that interesting from my perspective," Belén admitted.
At that moment, Joe walked into the room, a hasty entrance, with narrowed eyes on the two metahumans. "What the hell were you two thinking calling Leonard Snart for help!?"
Barry winced and slowly turned around. He'd called Joe to explain their idea and needless to say the man was not happy.
Joe came right up to them. "Do we not remember who Snart is!?" Caitlin and Cisco slowly inched away from them back to the table Cisco was working with the device on.
"Joe, it was my idea," Belén stepped forwards. "Barry just went along with it."
"Which puts both of you at fault," Joe sternly responded. "Why would you do something so stupid?"
"Because, Joe, we have already tried everyone else. Look, you tried the CCPD. I tried Oliver. I even tried Ronnie and Dr. Stein," Barry, frustrated explained their lack of options. "And the Particle Accelerator goes online in…"
"16 hours," Cisco called.
"16 hours, Joe. I'm not willing to let the metas die, and we can't let them escape, either. So, like it or not, Snart, with his cold gun, is the only one that can stop them if Cisco's transportation does not hold."
"Then lucky for you I figured out what it is you can get me," Snart surprised them with his presence. Despite Joe initially pulling out a gun on him, Snart took a nice calm strode through the room, taking an observation. "Hello, Detective. Nice to see you again. Caitlin, Cisco." He came up to Barry and Belén with a smirk. "I thought about your proposal. You want my help, this is what I want. My fingerprints, dental records, DNA, criminal records, family tree, everything there is in this world concerning Leonard Snart. I want it destroyed. All of it. At CCPD, online, everywhere."
Belén stood there dumbfounded at such an outrageous price.
"The brass on this dude," Joe muttered. "You really think we'd do that for you?"
"Absolutely not-" Belén was midway turning him down when Barry cut her off with his own decision.
'I'll do it. If it's the only way, fine."
Belén whipped her head at him with widened eyes. Joe was in the same predicament and immediately ordered Barry to talk with him in the training room.
"I can't believe you're asking for that much," Belén snapped at Snart after being left alone. Caitlin and Cisco still remained there, half pretending to work and half ready to attack.
Snart smirked her way. "Then you're not as bright as you're made out to be."
"You don't know anything about me," Belén stepped forwards.
"I know about your family."
"Lies."
"Really? I know about your wayward brother," Snart loved the stunned reactions he got from everyone in the room. "I mean, I know my sister isn't exactly innocent but at least I know where she is. Can't say the same for you and your sister, though."
"Listen to me," Belén got in Snart's face, leaving Caitlin and Cisco in a little panic state because of how Snart might react, "I know damn well what my sister does behind my back - and I know that she worked with you - so you can put away your mighty attitude with me. I know that my family's rotten."
Snart raised an eyebrow at her, somewhat impressed. "Quite the burden you must carry, then...being the only good one left. Maybe you should think about switching, huh?"
"I would never," Belén stepped back. "It's more fun putting criminals like you away."
"Well, if this is it, you can tell your boyfriend I'll be waiting by the Algiers tonight for all my files. This criminal's not going anywhere!" he turned around and headed out of the room.
Belén's eyes flickered to Caitlin and Cisco. "It's going to be my fault if that guy ever rules the city."
"Maybe you should talk to Barry about it," Caitlin suggested but Belén scoffed.
"Please, he won't talk to me unless it's business and this would just be me telling him not to do something."
"Okay, how do you intend for this cold shoulder argument to end if neither of you get over it and talk?" Cisco moved for the desk where he left some of his licorice.
"Because he doesn't want to talk, Cisco! It's been days and...nothing."
"Well I just talked to him and he seemed ready...ish..."
Belén deadpanned him for a moment. "It's not funny, Cisco. And you know what? Maybe it's...it's just not going to get better."
"Belén..." Caitlin mildly gaped at her friend. "You don't actually...mean that, do you?"
"I don't know," Belén admitted. She brought her hands to her hair and sucked in a breath. "I've got family problems like there's no tomorrow and-and maybe it'd be easier to deal with things if I didn't drag Barry with me."
"Okay, you know that's not true," Caitlin looked over to Cisco for some help. The man seemed to be thinking about something and that clearly involved not talking for the moment. "Belén, I think you're just tired-"
"-it's a possibility," Belén let her hands fall to her sides. "But I mean...what if I talk to him and he can't get over the date? What if - what if he doesn't want to be with me anymore? Things could be over."
"Nope!" Cisco's sudden pop startled the two women. "Absolutely not, I will not have crazy talk in this room."
"Cisco, what-" Belén was cut off by Cisco coming over and grabbing her arm. "Where are we going!?" she asked when he started leading her out of the cortex, even looking back at Caitlin for some help.
"Cisco, what are you doing?" Caitlin rushed after them. "Cisco!"
"I'm knocking some sense into her!"
"With what!?" Belén exclaimed with actual fear in her tone.
"The future!"
Caitlin's eyes widened when she realized where Cisco was heading for. He brought them to Thawne's secret vault, and despite Caitlin's warning for him to think about it, Cisco opened the vault and yanked Belén in.
"This is Wells' creepy lair - why am I here?" Belén pretended to shiver.
"This is why," Cisco walked up to the small podium. "Glad I figured out how to bring it up," he mumbled as he passed his hand over the podium, bringing up the futuristic article to life.
"Woah..." Belén blinked. She crinkled her nose, however, when she read the title of the article and saw the subject of it. "No, hold on...what is this?"
"It's what we found a while ago," Cisco looked at Caitlin, "We don't really know what it means but...I think you'll see something pretty interesting."
"Apart from the fact this thing says Barry will go missing...not exactly sure what else is supposed to be 'interesting'," Belén walked up to the article to read, or at least try to skim since the words were pretty small. "This is from 2024..."
"It's the future, as of now," Caitlin came to stand beside her.
"Get out," Belén blinked with awe. "But...but he goes missing?" her hand came to rest over her heart as the fear started creeping over her. "Barry goes missing in the future?"
"Check out who wrote the article," Cisco nodded her to look underneath the byline.
It only took her a couple seconds to see her own name written there - well, her new name. "Oh...oh my...that's me," she pointed at it as if the other two hadn't already seen it. "Like...like..."
A big, teasing smile spread across Cisco's face. "As in your future married name?"
"Shut up," Belén said automatically, though the visible red on her face made it hard for Cisco not to keep smiling. Even Caitlin was having trouble keeping her smile hidden. "Francisco Ramon you better shut up."
"Belén, I get that you're scared to talk to Barry but this-" Cisco gestured at the article, "-proves that everything works out for you two. It means your destiny is to marry him."
Belén's eyes gazed over her name again. Annah-Belén Allen. Her heart may have skipped a beat or two. "It's not destiny," she said quietly, her eyes flickering between Caitlin and Cisco. "Destiny isn't what makes that happen," she pointed at her name. "It's my decision - it's our decision - to get married. But that could change at any time. What matters is what I want right now and what I really want is to go get my boyfriend back."
She smiled at her two friends and turned on her heels. She had somewhere to go.

Barry didn't know if he was purposely lingering in his lab to wait out the employees in the precinct and get the files for Snart...or if he was doing it to avoid being shouted at by Joe again. It wasn't like he wanted to steal but it was the only option they had left if they wanted help to transfer the metahumans. It was literally their only option left.
"Barry!" he flinched after hearing Belén's sharp call. She came striding into the lab with an air of confidence. "Barry Allen we are going to talk and we are going to talk now!"
"Um...okay..." Barry rubbed the side of his neck, somewhat afraid of her right now. "Uh-"
"-yes, I went on a date with Cisco, and yes it did involve hand holding and shared popcorn and a nice romantic dinner but it involved no kissing and the most important thing is that it didn't continue," Belén was aware she was rambling but if he was a speedster then he would be able to keep up with her. "And I'm sorry I didn't tell you about it before but I thought it would just freak you out - which it did-" she gestured at their current situation, "-and I honestly thought it was irrelevant. Cisco is one of my best friends but you are the one I want to be with."
Barry considered speeding and make time stop just to think about everything she'd said. He stared at her silence, thinking about her words and...her. She seemed so determined and perhaps it was a misplaced determination because...
"I'm a jerk," he sighed.
Belén blinked. "What?" she'd been expecting a little more than just that.
"I'm a big jerk, and an idiot, and a lot of other things but I'll leave it at that," Barry sighed again. "In Iris' words: I am a drama queen. I overreacted about this whole...dating thing between you and Cisco. In my defense, it was kind of sprung out of nowhere and it-it is a very hard picture to get out of my head."
"Well see, I don't want you to just ignore it or bottle it in. I get that it's a weird thing - I'd probably be a little on the fence if you happened to date Caitlin before me. It's natural, but I don't want it to be the cause of our break up," Belén crossed her arms, that confidence of hers dwindling the more she thought about the potential outcomes of this talk. "I don't want us to break up, Barry. If you need time, I get that, but...I don't want it to be a permanent time."
"I don't need time," Barry said, easing some of her concerns. "I just need you right now." He felt a ping in his heart seeing her light up so quickly. "I'm sorry."
Belén's smile was so wide it could have cracked her face. She rushed up to him, throwing her arms around his neck and kissing him. He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her senseless. He missed her a lot.
A couple minutes passed before they pulled apart.
"I'm not letting you go for another couple minutes," Belén warned about her arms still clinging to Barry's neck. "In case you get any other ideas for arguments."
"I won't," Barry playfully rolled his eyes. "I know I was an idiot."
"A little," Belén lightly shrugged. "But it was a valid emotion to feel."
"It just...got me thinking, you know? What if it things had worked out with you and Cisco? Then I would've come back from my coma to a world where Bells...wasn't my Bells."
Belén's face warmed up. "You didn't even like me back then, Barry. We were just friends."
Barry rested his forehead against hers. "I believe that I would have fallen for you no matter what. Then what would I have done?"
"Best not to think like that," Belén chuckled. "Because it didn't happen and it's not happening. Besides, according to a certain article you neglected to tell me about, we sort of end up married and all that jazz..."
Barry almost choked on his saliva. "Wh-what?" he met Belén's straight face. "Y-you know about that?"
"Cisco showed it to me earlier. You must have given me one hell of a proposal if I ended up not hyphenating."
"U-uum..." Barry swallowed hard, knowing well his face was warming up now. "I didn't tell you because I thought it would freak you out. Most people don't like their future planned out like that."
"Yeah, but, I see that article as something that can happen if we-" she pointed between them, "-want it to happen, not if it wants it. And I may not be in the marrying stage but it is something I'd consider in the future."
"Really?" Barry was honestly surprised she was taking it so easily.
"You wouldn't?"
"Y-yeah I would," he said quickly, stammering it that Belén laughed. "It's not - it's not funny."
"Kind of is," Belén pulled him closer to where her lips brushed over hers when she spoke. "It's okay. I'd marry a funny dork if it was you."
"What? That's just rude-"
Belén chuckled and kissed him again.

The following day, once everything had been settled, Lisa and Leonard Snart met the rest of the group at STAR Labs who had also been infomred of their arrangement.
"Please tell me this is a joke," Caitlin couldn't stop gaping as she had the two Snart siblings in front of her and Cisco.
"Oh," Lisa pretended to pout, "you were right, Lenny. She is very uptight."
Caitlin's eyes widened. "I am not uptight!" she glanced at the others expecting to be backed up. Cisco and Belén looked away while Barry apologetically smiled her way. With a heavy irritation, Catilin looked back at the smirking Lisa. "You can't call me uptight!"
"Okay, there's no need to argue," Belén stepped in before poor Caitlin lost it. "We don't like each other - that much we can all accept - we just need to get through this one day."
Caitlin sighed and looked over to Barry, frowning. "Why are you two wearing your masks?" she gestured to the two metahumans who wore their respective suits. "Snart already knows who you are."
"And I promised I wouldn't tell anyone," Snart glanced at Lisa. "That includes my sister."
"Jerk," Lisa sarcastically spat.
"Trainwreck," responded Snart. He met eyes with Joe who'd remained silent throughout the entire morning. Joe just didn't agree with any of this and still thought neither Snart should be there. "Don't look so surprised, Detective. I am a man of my word."
"Yeah, you better be. Or I'm gonna make sure you're on that damn plane, too," Joe warned and turned to leave. There was much to do before they left with the metahumans.
"Hey, Cisco…" Lisa went after Cisco.
Cisco turned around with narrowed eyes. "Oh, hey, Captain Cold's evil sister."
"Aww. You're not still mad at me, are you?" Lisa feigned an apologetic pout as she got closer to him. "I really did enjoy kissing you."
"Hold the phone - you kissed her!?" it was Belén who caught the conversation and shot Cisco a look from across the room.
"Under duress-" Cisco motioned her to calm down.
"'Duress' my a-"
"Bells if I didn't know any better I'd say you were jealous…" Barry sauntered up to her, distracting her from the continuing conversation between Cisco and Lisa. Still, Cisco led Lisa out of the cortex for safety reasons.
"Oh no, are we going to argue again?" Caitlin genuinely asked with concern.
"Don't worry, we made up," Belén said cheerfully. "I won't date any of his friends unless he makes new hot friends."
"I didn't say that!" Barry turned on her with a deep frown on his face.
"Shh!"
Caitlin smiled at the two. It was nice having them back to their regular selves; certainly more amusing.

When night settled over the city, everyone was set to go. Cisco had procured a moving truck that belonged to one of his uncles. He rigged its back to situate their six metahumans in the back who wouldn't have their powers for the duration of their trip. Getting to the warehouse was no problem as Barry made a clear pathway for them through the streets. It was the waiting part that would soon bring them trouble.
"Ferris Air? I thought this place got shut down," Snart remarked as he climbed off his motorcycle once they entered the solitary place where the ARGUS airplane was meant to be at any moment.
"It did. One of their test pilots disappeared," Barry distractedly responded as he stared out into the dark sky looking for the airplane.
Joe, Caitlin and Belén got out of their car and walked over to the two. "So what's the plan? I want to get this over with," Joe said.
"It should be here any minute," Barry promised. "Look, Joe, I know you don't agree with this…"
Joe shook his head. "Save it, Barr. I just want to get it done." He walked away.
As Caitlin followed in suit, Belén was left staring at Snart...who soon caught on and smirked.
"Something on your mind sweetheart?" he asked. Barry quickly looked at the two, confused.
Belén remained with a straight face. "Do you know where my sister is right now?"
"No I do not."
"And why would I believe you?"
"Because I don't particularly like your sister and would very much like to see you get your hands on her."
"I would never hurt my sister, Snart," Belén shook her head, but Snart just smirked.
"When your family goes rogue, you don't have much choices. Besides, she was willing to hurt you and your friends, why not pay her with the same coin?"
Belén stared at Snart without much words in mind. Snart knew he had won and turned for Barry. "Your A.R.G.U.S. friends aren't very prompt. Maybe that's why they've never been able to catch me."
Caitlin came to them once she caught sight of the airplane. "Look, there it is."
"Guys, guys!" Cisco ran out from the truck. "We have a problem. The damper's fluctuating. The rig's losing power. I don't know why."
Barry turned to him, panicking. "Wait, can you do something?"
"I'm trying!" Cisco frantically worked with his tablet.
An odd lightning crackled from the sky, but they knew better than that.
"Oh, God. Mardon," Joe recalled the terrible metahuman.
The airplane was struck by the lightning and crashed landed way across them. At the same time, the truck's backdoor flung open and the metahumans piled out ready for action.
"Trip's canceled!" Mardon cackled. "Take your last breath!"
Simmons shot red lasers towards the group, causing them to quickly disband towards hiding places. In the middle of her running, Belén crashed into Azul.
Gasping, Belén tried running in a different direction.
"Where are you going, Bells?" Azul shot a blast of ice towards her. Although it didn't directly hit her, the terror of the attack knocked her down. "We have a pending score to settle."
"Azalea!" Cisco shouted and made a move to go help her but he, Caitlin and Joe, were forced behind a car as they dealt with Mardon, Bivolo and Simmons.
"N-Noah!" Belén pushed the man off and tried punching him. Azul grasped her wrist and used it to twist her down to her back. Belén hissed with eyes screwed shut.
"I bet Rayan is gonna be real happy to see your ass dead," Azul smirked. "Too bad it'll be too easy."
Belén allowed her anger to take over again and with it her new side. Her skin became that emerald green, even her eyes seemed to shift towards a magenta color for a moment. "Or how about I bring you to him instead?" she surprised him with. Her nails gripped his wrist and pushed through his skin.
Her vines crept onto him, but unlike with Shawna, they grabbed him whole and threw him to the side.
"Let's settle the score, Azul. Once and for all!" she called and went after him.
Meanwhile, Barry was dealing with Nimbus who was trying to poison him with his noxious gas. He could see his friends and Belén needed help but everytime he tried getting back into the warehouse Nimbus threatened to kill him. He had to deal with Nimbus first, no options left.
Belén's started flinging pieces of vines as if they were shards, but Azul broke them with his icicles. He put his hands together and fired with an icy smoke that chilled the surroundings. Through the fog, Belén could see Simmons firing lasers at Barry who was attempting to get back in. She was also able to see Mardon strike him down with a rackling thunder.
"Boyfriend's going bye-bye," Azul laughed. "Just like you will."
Snart's words came back to Belén's mind. If they were so willing to hurt her, then what was stopping her from doing the same?
Belén charged forwards, clearing the chill with her own poison. She swung an angry fist at Azul, surprising him and knocking him down. Her vines crawled over her hands, forming sharp ends like daggers. She raised them up but before she brought them down, a streak of gold hit Azul and killed him.
Belén dropped her hands and whipped around to see Lisa holding her golden gun. In that moment, Belén realized what she'd been about to do and stepped away from the corpse. All the green faded from her skin, the magenta in her eyes disappearing too. Oh my God!
Snart himself shot Simmons with his cold gun, killing him instantly. "How about we call tonight a tie?" Snart addressed the remaining metahumans Mardon and Bivolo with his cold gun still aimed at them.
Bivolo aimed to whammy Snart when he felt a cold metal on the side of his head. Lisa had anticipated it and was threatening to cover him with gold just as Azul.
"I'd power down if you don't want me to melt your face."
"Let's all go our separate ways," Snart insisted and lowered his gun. "My name is Leonard Snart-"
"I know who you are," Mardon cut him off. Who didn't know if the famous Snart?
"Always pleased to meet a fan. Just remember who it was made sure you didn't get thrown on that plane bound for nowhere." Snart pointed out to the disastrous place and started in another direction.
"You're just letting us go?" Mardon couldn't buy it as he looked to the now-dead Simmons on the floor. "Why'd you shoot that guy?"
Snart shrugged."He owed me money."
Mardon frowned as Snart gave off an expectant look. "Mmm. What? You want a "thank you?"
"Who doesn't like a "thank you?""
"Thank you…?" Bivolo said slowly, still under the threat of Lisa's gun.
"You are so very welcome," Snart made it to where Barry had been left on the ground.
"You sabotaged the truck, didn't you?" Barry asked through a strained voice. He shifted on the ground, trying and failing to get up. "Why did you let them escape?"
"Because now they all owe me. And something tells me they'll be a lot more use to me as part of my rogues than rotting away in the North China sea."
"You gave us your word…"
Snart laughed and bent down beside him. "It's true, I did. But here's the thing. I'm a criminal and a liar, and I hurt people, and I rob them. What did you expect me to do? Not be what I am? I saw an opportunity to turn things to my advantage, and I did. Who you're really mad at is yourself. This is on you, Barry. Even your little girlfriend backed off at the last moment because she knew this could happen."
"Then why don't you just kill me?"
"Well, I guess you owe me one now, too. Good luck with... all of this." Snart straightened up and walked back towards his motorcycle. Before he did, he spotted Belén. He walked for her instead and met her glaring eyes. "Well, so much for not hurting people, huh?"
Belén frowned and made to go for him but at the last moment forced herself to stay still. These powers, with all its glory, were still uncontrollable at times. She needed to get a better handle on it.
~0~
After all had been done and, well, cleaned up, the group dejectedly returned to STAR Labs. Caitlin settled immediately into her medical expertise as she checked herself to make sure she was no longer under the effects of Bivolo's powers, then moved on to Belén and Barry. With Barry's quick healing powers, he was back in physical aptitude faster than she could finish the check up. Belén had less injuries but it would still take a while for her to get better again. So, despite being told to 'take it easy', when Caitlin finished with her, Belén got right up and went in search of her boyfriend who'd mysteriously gone missing after hearing they were all fine.
The Particle Accelerator was set to go off in just a couple of minutes so Belén knew Barry must be taking it far harder than anyone else right now.
"Hey," she playfully knocked on the side of the pipeline's threshold once she found him sitting down on the slightly raised floor.
"Bells, you're supposed to be resting," Barry got up to help her walk in. Despite not bearing severe injuries, she was still walking a bit slower.
"Barry, I'm fine - well, I'm going to be fine, you know," Belén said but let him lead her to where he'd been sitting at. "Caitlin says I just have some nasty bruises…"
"Painful ones," Barry noticed her wince when she put a hand over her back.
"It's fine," Belén insisted and turned her head at him. "I tried to kill someone so believe me, my physical injuries are the least of my worries."
Barry glanced at her, knowing this was probably going to haunt her for a while. "The powers took you over, it wasn't you out there."
"Except it was," Belén sighed. "I've been angry for a while. I'm angry that my brother has been spying on me, has been hurting me. I'm angry with Maritza about lying to me and hurting me too. I'm angry that my Dad got killed. I'm just angry, Barry, and I'm releasing it in ways that I didn't think I ever could. If Lisa hadn't shot Azul...I probably would have stabbed him."
Barry put his arm around her shoulders and brought her to his side. "We've been through a lot."
"Yeah..."
"Tonight was my fault, though. I've seen the way that Oliver does things, and he's not afraid to just do whatever it takes to get what he needs, and I thought that I could do that too. I thought I could just use Snart, but instead he used me."
"Well, to be fair, the whole idea was my idea…" Belén rubbed her arm.
"Yeah, but, Bells," Barry shifted to face her, "you didn't agree - you didn't want to agree to Snart's deal. You knew something like this could've happened because you...you were smart, you didn't fall for it. I did."
"I was being a scary-cat and you were being calculating," Belén offered an alternative way to see things. "I mean, yeah, okay, maybe you were trying to be a little too much like Oliver...which-" she leaned closer to him with a soft smile gracing her lips, "-I wouldn't like to see, honestly. The Arrow is the Arrow, and that's not the kind of hero I know you are. I'd rather you dealt with things the Flash way."
"Yeah, and how's that?" Barry tilted his head, a bit curious to know what she thought.
"Mm," Belén looked to the side as she came up with her answer. "You actually cared about whether or not those criminals lived or died. Oliver probably would've seen them as collateral damage. You don't do walks in the dark side, you shouldn't."
"Tell you what," Barry began a new proposal, "Next time I get a crazy idea to agree to a criminal's word...you snap me out of it by all means."
"Can I smack you?"
"Yes...if necessary."
"Okay, deal!"
Barry stared at the excited ombre-blonde a bit worried. "You, uh...you agreed a bit fast on that one…"
Belén chuckled. "Well, who doesn't jump on the opportunity to smack some sense into their boyfriend?" Barry wasn't exactly sure that was a good thing. Belén surprised him with a small kiss on the lips. "But if you don't do more dark-side experimenting, you can get one of these."
"That sounds absolutely fair," Barry instantly nodded his head. "And I promise you that we're going to continue that training."
"Okay," Belén nodded.
Suddenly, an alarm blared from the ceiling and soon they heard Cisco's voice calling them from the speakerphone.
"Guys... The Particle Accelerator is fully charged and online. Whatever Wells needs it for, it's ready."
Barry took Belén's hand and helped her up to her feet. "C'mon," he helped her walk out the room towards the cortex.
All the computers were raging with alarms as the Particle Accelerator prepared to activate yet again. No one knew what was meant to happen, but they knew one thing for sure was that Wells was returning. Taking precautions, Barry once again changed into his suit and stood ready by the computers.
"He wants you to go out there," Belén sighed once she caught sight of Wells walking in through the front gate like nothing.
"And I will," Barry said, not denying he needed this battle.
This was the part where Belén hated not being a speedster, because it meant she wouldn't be able to help him. "I don't want you to go out there alone," Belén knew she was speaking for everyone, especially Joe.
"I need to go. If I don't, he'll come in," Barry looked at the others and hoped they would see it the way he was. It was precaution, after all. He sped out of the room to go meet Wells.
"Hey, Wells isn't alone," Cisco said after noticing another figure in the screen.
"What?" Belén practically shoved Cisco to the side in order to look at the computers. He let it go on account of the situation (but her hand was actually pretty strong). "Oh absolutely not." The venom in her tone was uncharacteristic of her, even her stride for her own suit, but the moment the computer was available again, and Caitlin, Cisco and Joe saw who else was out there...they understood.
"Belén, hold on," Cisco came around the desk as fast as he could to stop her from leaving. "You can't go out there-"
"-pretty sure I just told Barry that and he had to go. Now it's my turn. Pixel is out there and I'll be damned if she lays a finger on Barry. Plus, she and I have another score to settle too."
"But Barry's not alone anymore," Caitlin pointed out. "Firestorm and the Arrow just showed up. Belén, it's okay to stay in here now."
Belén thought about it logically but despite knowing the numbers were in their favor, she couldn't just sit there and watch Pixel have her own fun against them. "Wells - or Thawne - brought her in because of me. He has no use for her except to taunt me."
"Then don't let him," Cisco put his hands on her shoulders.
Green crept across Belén's face and down her arms. "I can't, Cisco."
Her vines grabbed her suit from behind and together they disappeared. Cisco whirled around to Joe and Caitlin. "What do we do now!?"
"Hope neither of them gets killed," Joe despised that answer, and yet there was seriously nothing else they could do but that.

Pixel cackled while she actively dodged Oliver's arrows. "Bet you can't catch me!" her sing-song attitude irritated the hell out of the man. It appeared more like she was playing a game with them, and that's exactly what she was doing.
Well, the game was about to shift opponents.
Pixel was ducking as another arrow threatened to get her, and since her gaze was on Oliver she didn't notice the vines coming for her back. She yelped when the tendril squeezed her arms to her sides.
"I got her," Belén told Oliver and nodded for him to go help Barry. It seemed like Wells had thrown Firestorm quite far without his fire to protect him.
Pixel laughed, her shoulders shaking with her. "You got me? As if." She whipped her entire body around and pulled Belén with the vine. Her energy cut through the vines and gave her an opportunity to strike first.
Belén felt the connection of Pixel's hand with her chin and vowed the woman would get it now. She was done being Pixel's and Rayan's punching bag, their innocent doll. No more.
Belén retaliated with her poisonous smoke and while Pixel fought to keep her lungs clean, the ombre-blonde delivered a roundhouse kick that may or may not have earned her a cheer inside STAR Labs. "That felt good," she admitted to herself. She flinched, however, when she heard a loud clang and turned to see Wells' body landing against the fence, courtesy of Barry.
"That's the spirit! You can't stop me, Flash. And you never will," Wells smirked impossibly wide as he detached himself from the fence. Perhaps it was a game to him too.
Barry glared at him but said nothing in return. Instead, he took off for the side of building and got Wells to chase after him.
Pixel jumped to her feet and grabbed Belén in a choke-hold. "First, I'll kill you, and then I'll get Azul out and together we'll kill everyone in that building." She nodded at the building where the two speedster's lightning trails illuminated their eyes.
"Azul is dead!" Belén managed to say in-between gasps for air.
It was enough to cause distraction. "What!?" Pixel blinked.
Belén shoved her elbow into the woman's stomach, forcing Pixel to keel over in pain. Belén whirled around and didn't hesitate to throw another kick, this time getting Pixel right on the chin. "An eye for an eye!" she spat and thrust her vines forwards to tie the woman up.
Pixel growled and shrieked as vine after vine wrapped over her body. Belén worked fast to keep Pixel's powers from penetrating her vines, but her eyes were also flickering up to the building where the rest of the men were fighting. She flinched when Wells came crashing down onto a car but was relieved to see Oliver coming through with one specific arrow. A tranquilizer specifically made for a speedster.
Barry, Firestorm and Oliver soon gathered over the unconscious speedster, all wearing pretty proud smiles.
"Thanks, fellas," Barry said truthfully.
"No problem," Oliver nodded at him.
"Nice haircut. And I see we've abandoned our traditional green..." Barry mused now that he noticed Oliver's darker green suit.
"Green is such a good color though, isn't it?" Belén gestured to herself. "Any shade works."
Oliver smiled for a moment. He then looked over to Barry, back in his Oliver-seriousness way. "Look... I might need a favor from you."
"Wherever, whenever," Barry assured him. Oliver nodded once more then shot an arrow ahead to take him home.
"I'm guessing dear old Firestorm wants to see a Dr. Caitlin Snow?" Belén smirked at the fiery metahuman. "And one Clarissa?" her smirk, however, suddenly vanished as she started to convulse on the spot.
"Belén!?" Barry panicked and went for her only to feel a force pinning his feet to the ground.
Belén found it hard to breathe despite knowing there was nothing wrong with her. Her legs buckled and soon had her drop to her knees. "I-I can't - I can't move! I can't - ah!" her left shoulder lurched forwards.
Firestorm looked around and only spotted Pixel untangling herself from Belén's vines. Her entire body disappeared and re-formed across from them where a second figure was approaching. The entry gate was flung to the side without every being touched.
"It's over, Belén," Rayan came to a stop beside Pixel. "It's finally over for you."
Belén could hear her brother's voice but as much as she tried to get, take control of her body, she just couldn't. "Wh-wat's happening? Barry!?"
"Don't bother," Rayan balled his fists so that Belén, Barry and even Firestorm felt the true weight of his new ability. The metas shared screams of pain as they felt the insides of their bodies twisting.
Inside STAR Labs, there was a heavy panic of death.
"What is he doing!?" Joe turned to the two scientists in a hurry.
"I think...I think he's controlling their bodies," Caitlin did the best she could through a screen. She focused on Rayan's position and movements. "His telekinetic powers, in theory, can grant him the ability to control anything...including a human body."
"We gotta stop that before he kills them," Joe turned to go, his hand nearing the gun he carried.
"Pixel is going for Wells," Cisco's eyes widened. "Is it too late to call Oliver back? Maybe Nina?"
"I am going out there!" Joe took off and, panicked and afraid, Caitlin and Cisco ran after him.
"So sad," Pixel carelessly stepped around the three metas on the ground. "Azul may be dead but at least you'll be too." Her eyes twinkled at the sight of blood coming out from Belén's nose. "Maybe you can be first, Belén."
"Get the speedster and go," Rayan nodded towards Wells' unconscious body. There was a clear strain on his face from keeping three whole bodies down at the same time.
Pixel disappeared and reappeared by Thawne's side, and just as she was about to reach for his arm she heard the building's door open up. She looked over and smirked at the sight of the three non-metas. "Well, it's either incredibly brave or incredibly stupid of you to come out and play."
"Get the hell away from them," Joe held his gun directly at her, but seeing Rayan maintaining control over the others made it difficult to pick one.
Pixel saw it and smirked again. "Who would you shoot, Detective? Can you shoot one of us?"
"To save my kid, the hell I will," Joe cocked his gun at her since she was beginning to come for them now. "Back the hell up."
"Or what?" she demanded. She waved a hand and shot some of her electrical energy, making Joe drop the gun to the side. "Oh, no more weapons. What happens now, Detective?"
"Pixel! Get Thawne!" Rayan yelled in frustration. Blood was forming under his nose too and, if Caitlin was seeing right, at the corner of his eyes too.
"No, I want them dead too!" Pixel prepared to fire at the trio but her body was suddenly tackled down from a figure who dropped from the air. The two rolled over until it was Maritza who hovered over.
"You?" Pixel blinked in surprise. "Where the hell have you been!?"
Maritza punched the woman across the face. "That's for hurting my sister!" she then struck again. "And that's for trying to hurt the others!"
Pixel was groggy but her anger got her to focus fast. Her electrical energy connected with Plasticine's chest, throwing the woman to the side. "I knew you were a traitor," Pixel got up and wiped some of the blood from her busted lip. "Just like little sister over there."
"Maritza, what the hell are you doing?" Rayan managed to ask despite his ongoing struggle.
"Rayan, you have to stop!" Plasticine looked up from the ground. "We got it wrong - we got it so wrong! Wells was the enemy, not the Flash. You need to stop this!"
"You're betraying me too," Rayan nodded. "Then you can die too."
Maritza's eyes widened, knowing what was coming for her, so she built a wall with her purple mass to cover herself from whatever Rayan was going to throw at her. It was sturdy enough to deflect part of the wired fence, but not enough to protect her from the chunk of the car Thawne had fallen over. Maritza crashed on her back, her head taking a mighty blow. She groaned and brought a hand to her forehead, turning her head just a bit. When she opened her eyes she saw Joe's gun lying next to her.
She could hear the collective cries from her sister and the other two metas. "We need to stop!" Maritza snatched the gun and aimed it at Rayan then Pixel. She moved it between them, much like Joe had earlier.
"Please, you're going to shoot your own brother?" Rayan scoffed.
Maritza's eyes flickered to the smirking Pixel who was preparing to fire again. "Nope," she suddenly changed targets and shot Pixel. The platinum blonde clearly hadn't been expecting it - much less that Maritza had actually done it - as the bullet plunged right through her chest.
"Oh my God!" Caitlin exclaimed as Pixel's body collapsed on the ground. Joe and Cisco kept her back, though, since the match wasn't quite over.
Maritza seemed unfazed, but angry as hell, as she moved the gun back on Rayan. "Next one goes through your foot, Rayan. Let them go now."
Rayan looked at Maritza for a full minute, and since the pressure was taking a toll he needed to let them go. He raised his hands to show the telekinetic force was lifted. Maritza looked down at the three metas and was relieved to see Belén sucking in a deep breath.
"Like I said, this isn't over!" Rayan's snap brought her back. "You and Belén betrayed me. You'll pay with your lives, Maritza. That'll be on you."
Maritza watched Rayan turn to leave. Her younger brother was tired, easily seen, but to escape he was quick. Telekinesis wielded pipes against them to keep them busy and allow him the clear escape he wanted.
"Are you okay?" Barry helped Belén up to her feet, both having the same blood over their lips and chins.
"No..." Belén wiped the blood from her face and looked over to Maritza with uncertainty. Would Maritza fight them too and get away?
Maritza watched them all gather against her, and since she still held Joe's gun she knew what they were thinking. Slowly, she lowered the gun to the ground and straightened up with her hands in the air. The rest of the group exchanged glances amongst them, but it was Barry who sped and cuffed Maritza with meta-dampeners.
Still, Belén walked - wobbled since she was still getting control again - over. Barry watched her with concern - this could not be easy at all. Belén stopped just behind Maritza, her gaze looking straight ahead and not at her sister. She just couldn't right now.
"You're under arrest, Maritza Palayta," Belén swallowed hard and turned away from her sister.

Heart Racing
Summary:  Another speedster joins Team Flash and starts a fling with Jay Garrick (the real one). The story spans the different times he was present. Jay Garrick x OC
Chapter 1
Preface -
Momentum aka Carter McKinley joined Team Flash shortly after Zoom was revealed as Jay Garrick, their so called friend.

The Final Goodbye
Tumblr media
A/N: A one shot inspired by the most recent episode of The Flash S6 ‘The Exorcism of Nash Wells.” Renee finally lets Thawne go for good and maybe starts a new beginning.
Also if you have noticed I did change her name from Michelle to Renee (Not the same one from the show) so as not to get her confused with My Riverdale character.
Warnings: Fluff,Angst,Sadness,you know all the stuff that comes with The Flash! May contain spoilers. My other one shot is HERE!
~~~~~~~~
I couldn’t believe Eobard was back and in the body of someone who,despite not knowing very well,I didn’t particularly like or get along with. After finding out all The Wells,including My Husband Harry,had died during Crisis because of Pariah aka Nash,unintentionally or not I still held a grudge. Until I found out they were all residing in Nash’s head,that’s right all My past lovers HR,Sherloque,Harry and all the other Doppelgangers were living in the mind of the man I blamed for their deaths,now that’s irony.
Now I’d have to face not only that but Eobard Thawne,My well more than lover really,who last I had seen had zipped away from me when Nora died after I said I couldn’t come with him this time. I hadn’t seen him since,until now.
After a tussle with Cisco,Team Flash had locked him in a power dampening containment cell,not sure why since Thawne was apparently powerless. That’s where I saw him yelling at Barry,when I came in just to hear Barry ask. “Why do you want to kill me now Thawne?” Barry didn’t sound amused,just tired.
“BECAUSE YOU KILLED-” Eobard shouted at him then stopped short when he heard me say his name. Eobard looked up as I walked in,clearly surprised to see me. “ Renee.” Eobard finished calmly.
“He didn’t kill me Eo,Savitar did.” I reminded him,arms crossed,stance wide. Wanting to at least appear firm. Even though inside I was a jumble of nerves and conflicting emotions,which was not unusual for me every time I saw Eobard after so long. Especially when I didn’t expect to.
“Oh right. Evil Barry,forgot there was a difference.”  Thawne gave Barry a look at the last sentence.
Tumblr media
Barry just sighed,arms crossed,shaking his head. He then looked between myself and Eobard who were staring at one another through the glass of the cell. “I think we should let you two talk.” He gestured towards the long haired male who was at the controls to the cell. “C’mon Cisco.”
Cisco looked hesitant. “What if she...”
I answered for them. “I won’t open the cell.” I replied at their looks. “I swear!”
“ok we just don’t want a repeat of last time.” Cisco raised his eyebrows,pointing at Eobard and I. “No funny business.”
“We couldn’t even if we wanted to.” Eobard spoke up,winking at me. I rolled my eyes in response,but felt my cheeks go warm.
“We’ll be right outside.” Barry whispered to me. “Watching on the camera’s.” Barry continued looking at Eobard,who only smirked.
Once they left,Eobard beckoned me to come closer. I did,not touching the glass. Eobard’s demeanor softened then,as he said in that low raspy voice of his. “I missed you.”
“Then why did you leave?” I asked not allowing him to get to me this time or trying not to.
Tumblr media
“I had to.” Eobard replied looking down almost sadly.
I wasn’t caving in this time. “You always have to.”
“No that Crisis X one wasn’t me,that was a different Reverse Flash.Worse.But you know that.” Eobard looked at me pointly. “Also I wanted you to come with me.”
“ I couldn’t go with you then even if I wanted to! Nora had just died! How do you think that would make me look!” I pointed at myself,getting angry this time,all the pent up emotion and hurt bubbling up to the surface,as much as I had tried to stay calm.
“How do you think I felt?! I loved Nora,like she was my own!” Eobard yelled back,putting both his hands on the glass.
“But Nora wasn’t yours! she was Barry’s Daughter,she was My Niece.” I looked away,willing myself not to cry,to not let him get to me like so many times before.
“I know,I’m sorry.” Eobard said quieter,seeming to appear remorseful but I couldn’t be sure. “ I wanted to come back for you,but you were happy with Harry,was it?” Eobard seemed to be listening to something only he could hear as he looked up and then let out a small laugh. “Yeah that’s him,he’s not too happy I’m talking to you like this.”
I looked up quickly at that,eyes wide. “Harry....you can hear him?!”
“Oh yeah...they’re all buzzing around like insects in their.” Eobard put a finger to his head and snickered. “They’re scared...for you.”
Tumblr media
My gaze softened as I stared at Eobard,I missed Harry but,” You wouldn’t hurt me. Not intentionally.” I know some would disagree,My Family for one,But I believed Eobard wouldn’t,he never had without good reason or when it was out of his hands.
“That’s not why.” Eobard whispered,his blue eyes,or rather Nash’s,locked with my own,then looked down at my hands.
I looked down as well not even realizing I had been standing by the control panel,My fingers on the unlock button. “No...” I said low,then looking back at Eobard gave him a pleading look. “Eo just leave the other Wells’s alone,please.”
I knew it was too late,as Eobard gave me a dark grin and with an opening of the door,he was gone.
Tumblr media
Despite not having full control of his speed anymore,Barry zooms in. “Renee,why did you do that?!”
I snapped out of my reverie and stammered. “I didn’t mean-I didn’t know what I was-”
Cisco put a reassuring hand on my shoulder. “It’s ok,we got this. you sit this one out. Right Bare?”
Barry nodded,giving me a small smile. “Yeah,right..” With that they rushed out.
I was still in the pipeline trying to calm down and stop blaming myself,which wasn’t working I might add,when I heard fighting and Caitlin cry out “Barry no!”
Concerned I ran down the halls and into The Cortex,just in time to see Barry gripping Eobard,well Nash,his other hand vibrating,then Cisco shooting a Tranq dart into Nash’s neck.
After the initial shock wears down,we all start reprimanding Barry,myself especially. “Barry you could have killed Nash! Revenge isn’t worth that.” I told him.
Barry looked down guilty,nodding. It was then that Caitlin told him in her soft,calm voice that because of his anger towards Thawne and how that would affect his speed,that he couldn’t be here while they tried to help Nash aka get Thawne out of Nash’s body.
I nodded in agreement not realizing that would pertain to me as well. I looked at Caitlin surprised when she told me,” That includes you too. We can’t chance Thawne manipulating you to his side again.”
I started to protest but after what had just happened I knew she was right. Barry and I resigned ourselves to stay out of it for the time being.
 After Cecile showed up they decided to take a peak into Nash’s mind to try and get Eobard out of there,as he was trying to take over Nash’s body. I knew I had to help them.
“I’m going in too. Eobard will listen to me,I can help.” I told them,placing The Thinkers former mind meld gadget onto my forehead,at Barry’s nod of approval we grasp hands and enter Nash’s mind.
At first all I see are crackles of red lightning and a giant light enveloping what looks like the entrance to a cave. But then looking down I see Nash huddled on the ground,crying and rocking back and forth saying over again,”It’s not my fault.”
Feeling sympathetic I start to go towards him. When I hear a voice behind me. “Well Well look who showed.”
Barry and I both turn around at the same time,as Cisco tends to Nash. I see Eobard then now in his Reverse Flash suit but still looking like Harrison Wells. A smug look on his face.
Eobard didn’t seem to notice me too busy gloating over how weak Nash is and taunting Barry.  It wasn’t until I spoke up that he finally looked at me.
Tumblr media
“Having emotions doesn’t make you weak Eo.” I gestured for Barry to step back,he did with some hesitation. “It’s ok,he can’t reach me here not physically.”
It was at that moment that Thawne did try to reach for me but was stopped by an invisible barrier of sorts,confusion passing over his features.
“You’d side with the one who killed you, over me?!” Eobard pointed angrily at Barry,his eyes flashing red.
“Eo Barry didn’t kill me now or in the future,you know that. Maybe My Doppelganger is gone but I Am still here.” I tried to make him understand,stepping closer. “You need to get past this vendetta,you killed Barry’s Mother,tried to take his Daughter isn’t that enough?”
Eobard shook his head. “No I helped Nora,helped her reach her full potential.”
“Like you helped me?”
Tumblr media
Eobard looked down at me,at my question,his gaze softening,hurt lacing his eyes.  “I did,we were more powerful together,you were.”
“I still am. Because that is what love does.” I told him. “My love for My Family,For The other Well’s,for you...” I placed my hands on the barrier,while Eo did the same,but never touching. “ You and I had our chance,multiple chances actually. But it’s over now.”
At those words Eobard looked at me,for one of only a handful of times I saw fear cross his features but not over losing his own life but in losing me. “No it’s not. We are destined,you’re mine.”
I let out a sad smile at that. “No I’m not. I maybe able to handle your darkness but they cant.” I guestered to those behind me not to Barry or Cisco but to Nash and the three that appeared behind us,HR,Sherloque and Harry. “They shouldn’t be forced to. Even if we were together for good,you’d still try to hurt them,that’s just who you are,My being with you would hurt them. I can’t,I won’t do that. I’m sorry.”
“Renee I....I’m...” Eobard faltered trying to find the words to these new emotions he was feeling. But his eyes told it all. “I just wanted us to be...”
I placed my head on the barrier,closing my eyes. “I know. It’s ok to feel Eo.”
Barry placed a hand on my shoulder then,” Renee,Nash is going into the cave.”
I nodded in understanding,as I opened My eyes to Eobard’s staring back at me. “Ok,I’m ready.”
Eobard closed his eyes in regret. “Don’t go.” then as if changing his mind or trying to stop his intruding thoughts,he looked at me,My eyes brimming with tears. “I love you...I’m so....” Eobard’s body disintegrates into negative tachyons before he can finish.
“I love you too. I always will,Goodbye Eo.” I whisper tearfully,My hands sparking with electricity as I reached out to touch the red particles, Eobard disappearing from me once again.
Later that same day....
I sit in the lounge with a cup of tea in My hands,sad but in away at peace with how it all ended. Eobard and I had gone through the same loop so many times I suppose It had just become second nature to us. I was sitting there so lost in thought I hadn’t noticed Nash enter the room.
I looked up giving him what I hoped was a warm smile, “Hey you’re all better.”
Nash gave a tight lipped smile,hands in his pockets. “Yep,faced My demons and all that. What about you?”
I looked up at him in surprise. I knew it took alot for him to ask about someone else’s well being,though he seemed to always have a certain protectiveness over me,I hadn’t really known why until today. “I’ll get there.”
Nash nodded in understanding,then cleared his throat,seeming nervous. “Look um I was just talking to Cisco and he made me realize that maybe we got off on the wrong foot,I mean now that you know about Maya...”
“Right. I mean she was like a daughter to you and after what happened I get it. Me being her doppleganger probably didn’t help.” I assured him.
“Yeah definitely not.” Nash agreed with a shake of his head and a raise of his eyebrows.
Tumblr media
“I’m also sorry I blamed you for The other Wells’s deaths. that wasn’t fair.” I admitted.
I noticed then that Nash was pursing his lips and furrowing his brow,which is something he usually did when he had something really serious to say but didn’t know how to.  “Nash your eyes are squinty,did you have something you wanted to say to me.”
Tumblr media
Nash looked at me in false surprise then,hands on his hips,he shook his head. “Hm? No,I don’t.” He was obviously stalling and someone else knew it as well,when Nash finally sighed and seemed to relent to whoever was talking to him inside his head. “Fine. I know,I’ll tell her!”
I looked up at him,curious. “Tell me what? Nash who are you talking too?” Was it true that The past Wells’s could still be in Nash’s mind?
Nash confirmed my suspicions when he answered. “My Doppelgangers. The Grumpy one with glasses.”
I sat up. “Harry?! he’s there?! Can he hear me?” I asked trying to reign in My excitement and failing.
“Yeah,he’s here and yes he can. He wants me to admit something...” Nash bites his lip,anxious. Something Harry used to do as well. Whatever he has to say seems visibly hard for him. “Ok look,Renee.”
I look him in the eyes,curious. “Yes?”
Nash sighs again,then seems to get up his nerve. “I like you,I kinda always have,it’s just you looked so much like Maya and it was weird because I NEVER felt that way about her? because for one she was a child and I’m not like that,but I feel different around you,especially after you helped me face my fears and now with all The other Wells’s I feel their uh FEELINGS towards you which makes it even harder and-”
I smile and stop Nash’s rambling with a hand on his arm. “Nash. are you trying to ask me out?” Though I already knew the answer.
Nash finally lets out a breath,looking at me,he seems to gain some sort of confidence. “More than that,I’m asking you to come with me,on My travels,where ever that maybe. would you?”
Nash holds a hand out towards me,I only hesitate briefly,we had gotten off to a rocky start after all. But then which of The Wells hadn’t I had issues with in the beginning.
I took his hand, “I’d like that.” I told him as we smiled warmly at one another. I got up and took his arm as we walked out of The Lobby.
As The rest of Team Flash was waiting to say goodbye. Cisco must have told them what Nash was planning. I walked over to where my adoptive father Joe West was and gave him a hug. “Hey Dad.” Joe gave me a cheeky smile back. “So Nash huh?” At My embarrassed shrug he gave a laugh and shook his head. “My Daughter and her Wells.” Renee nodded in agreement,she did have a thing for the Dopplegangers.
“Well he doesn’t seem that bad,a little rough around the edges still but you can even him out.” Joe Joked.
I smiled at him but then noticed Iris who wasn’t really joining in the farewells. “Dad,watch Iris,she seems a little different lately,off somehow.”
Joe followed my gaze,his expression turned serious. “Wally said the same thing.”
“He’s right.” I affirmed,worried. “Maybe I should stay...”
Joe looked at me then,putting both hands on my shoulders. “Hey no,I can deal with Iris,you go finally be happy. you deserve it.”
I nodded with a smile and another long hug goodbye,I was still worried but Dad was right I needed a chance to be happy on my own terms.
I walked back to Nash putting an arm around him as we waved goodbye and walked out of Star Labs.
Nash stopped then and said,”Also someone is really excited to see you.”
I smiled happily knowing exactly who he met. “Aw HR.”  Trying not to tear up.
“Earl Gray?” Nash asked gesturing at the tea in my hand.
I grinned up at him. “Good to see you too Sherloque.”
Nash frowned for a moment. “That’s going to take some getting used to.But at least they can help me out with you,romantically.” Nash shrugged,teasing.
“I’m sure they will,Harry will just need to learn to share again.” I teased back.
“Sure he will.Not.” Nash replied with Harry’s trademark smirk and wink he only reserved for me.
I faced him then,My look serious. “Nash,I want to be with you as well. Not just them I hope you know that.”
Nash nodded,with a small smile. “I do.”
“Good.” I replied with a look,”Now I think this is long overdue.” Before Nash could react,I put my arms around his neck and kissed him.
Tumblr media
Nash was surprised at first but then relaxed. When it was over Nash’s eyes slowly opened. “Wow,” He breathed, “Yeah that was. I think we all liked that...But just to make sure...” Nash gave me a mischievous grin and leaned down for another kiss,longer then the one before.
I think this was the start of something very new,and yet very exciting for us both. The Reverse Flash, Eobard Thawne ,My Eo would always hold a special place in my heart. But maybe now, Finally I could get My happy ending both old and new. My Past,present and future all rolled into one.
End~~~
Tumblr media
A/N: Hope you enjoyed it! I almost cried writing it,My baby finally gets her happy ending,though having to tear her apart from Thawne was tough...but hey there are other stories and I still haven’t finished My main one yet,so stay tuned!
Heating Up Part 1
So... something else for you guys. I took a little pause from writing the Alex Danvers story and came up with this as I also love Caitlin Snow from The Flash :).
I assumed some stuff about how to control Caitlin’s powers. Hope you don’t mind...
Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost x Meta Reader
Summary: Reader is a metahuman and can control heat. Team Flash is in need of your help as Caitlin can't control her powers anymore and is on the loose as Killer Frost.
Word Count: 2,187
“Have you found her?” Barry asks while nervously pacing around in the cortex.
“Can you please stop”, Cisco answers, rather annoyed by Barry. “You asked the same question, like, seconds ago. Nothing has changed since.”
“I just want to know where she is, okay?”
“We all want to know where she is”, Cisco reacts, gaze fixed on the screen. The blue light shining on his face.
“Wait… what do we do when we’ve found her?”, Iris asks perceptively, watching over Cisco’s shoulder, following his every move. “What do you mean?”, Barry replies, looking at Iris confused.
“Well… she’s not Caitlin anymore as she-”. Iris is interrupted by Cisco who quickly lifted his head up and is now staring at Barry. “No, she’s Killer Frost”, as he vividly remembers the vibe he had about Caitlin. Fighting in the dark, misty woods, not being able to reach her anymore, only left with Killer Frost.
“Maybe we need to find a solution beforehand, you know, to turn her back to our Caitlin Snow”, Cisco presents because he definitely doesn’t want his vibe to come true.
“So, what do you suggest, Cisco?” Barry asks, placing himself next to Cisco and finally standing still.
“Well, what do we need to defrost Frost…”, Cisco teases with a slight grin, one eyebrow lifted, and adding an intentional pause. Because he already knows the answer to his own question.
Seeing his eyes widen, now locked with Cisco’s Barry answers, “Heat!”, as if an imaginary lightbulb suddenly turned on above his head.
“Indeed, we need heat. Cotrolled heat.”
///
Busy with cleaning the fire truck spotless, you see two guys, kinda nerdy looking, walk into the fire station, gazing around as if they’re lost. One of your colleagues walks up to them. You can’t hear what they’re discussing but suddenly you notice your fellow firefighter point in your direction. Wait a minute- He’s pointing at you.
What would they need from me? They don’t look like law enforcement or something… While you’re occupied thinking about what the reason could be, the two guys are already calling you by name.
“(Y/N) (Y/L/N)?”, the one with the long, black hair asks.
“Yes, that’s me”, you respond. Ceasing the cleaning task, you smoothly jump down from the large fire truck. “What can I do for you?”
“Are you a metahuman that can control the vibration velocity of molecules, or better said: control heat?”, he demands out of the blue. Then the other guy quickly swoops in because your face starts to radiate confusion and plain anger.
I mean, that’s kind of a personal question...
“My name is Barry Allen and this is Cisco Ramon. I apologize for his inappropriate question”, the other guy eases, now frowning at his partner, apparently named Cisco. “I work as a CSI at the CCPD and we’ve come to a conclusion that you are indeed a metahuman”. You stare silently at the two guys while Cisco whispers something at Barry like -that's exactly what I said-, scowling at him and making a hand gesture.
How the hell do they know this and why do they even want to know? you think, simultaneously trying to come up with a proper response.
“What gave you the indication that, as you just so subtly said, I am a metahuman who can influence temperature?”, you ask them, staring into their eyes stone-cold. Kinda proud of your smart counter question, you casually lean against the glistening fire truck with one arm.
“You were in Central City when the STAR labs explosion happened, right?”
“Yes I was. I was working”, you confirm, still in the dark about the purpose of their visit, now in an intimidating pose with your arms crossed and shoulders squared. When you discovered your powers you surely made some mistakes in the beginning, but those were minor accidents, nothing serious. You quickly had them under control and only used them occasionally at your job. I mean, it does come in handy sometimes. However, you stay careful as of course not the whole world needs to know.
“Well, we have noticed-”. Barry cannot finish his sentence because he is being interrupted by Cisco. They clearly do not see eye to eye on what questions to ask.
What do they even want from me? From my powers?
Watching them fight like a married couple, you hear an alarm go off. A loud noise echoing through the entire station and red lights flashing brightly. You quickly react out of instinct as you need to move out, responding to the call. You hop into the fire truck while putting on all the gear and declare relieved: “Sorry guys, duty calls!”. They silently stare at you with their mouths wide open watching you drive away with the rest of your team, leaving them behind, unable to ask what they really came for.
///
Finally… the long-lasting shift is over. Walking away from the station towards your car, truly exhausted, you bite down in a crunchy red apple. You taste the sweet, juicy flavour, lastly able to eat after the busy day you had. It’s already dark, seeing the moon shine bright. Arriving at the car, keys in hand, you notice a piece of paper on the windshield. Picking it up, now holding the note as suddenly The Flash appears in front of the car. You can’t see his face clearly because the street light he’s standing underneath is broken. He starts to speak with a distorted voice. “I need your help, (Y/N)”.
How does he know my name? you think, staring at him in silence, frowning and still holding the paper in your right hand. He continues while you chew and swallow the remaining apple chunks left in your mouth.
So it appears The Flash needs your help. He actually needs your powers to be exact. A friend of his is in serious danger. If you want to help him you need to come to the address described on the note. You tilt your head down and read what’s on the piece of paper. By the time you look up again The Flash is gone, feeling a mild breeze as he vanished. Because helping people is in your blood, you don’t hesitate. The Flash asked for my help, that’s not some opportunity I get everyday. Unlocking the door, you hop into the car and start the engine. “Let’s go to STAR Labs”, you announce as you hit the gas pedal forcefully with your right foot while gradually releasing the clutch with your left, driving off with screeching tires.
///
Arriving at the STAR Labs building, you gaze at the damaged structures. It doesn’t nearly resemble the shiny, new, high-tech building it was before the explosion. Not knowing where to go, you just casually walk inside, no security or whatever. After wandering around in the hallways, you eventually hear faint voices in the distance and start to follow the noise. Suddenly all eyes promptly turn to you, shocked expressions on their faces as you were standing there a couple of seconds in silence. The Flash is not wearing his mask, probably didn’t expect you so soon. You can see who it is. It’s the guy that visited you at work today.
It’s Barry Allen.
“Wait- What the hell... it’s you”, you exclaim, completely startled. “Okay, I’m out”, you continue since you’re still furious about their inappropriate questions and unsolicited visit at the fire station today. They crossed a line there. You’ve had enough of this weirdness and start to walk away as suddenly The Flash, aka Barry Allen, abruptly appears in front of you. “Wait, just hear me out”, he expresses with credible remorse in his eyes. Apparently they’re in desperate need of your help?
The guy with the long black hair, Cisco, starts to explain how their friend Caitlin Snow cannot control her powers anymore and is on the loose. With the help of your ‘heat’ powers you can counteract Killer Frost’s ‘cold’ powers and turn her back into Caitlin again. Or at least... they think you can. You definitely want to help them, compelled by their story, but you don’t know if this will work. “I mean… I ‘ve never used my powers on a real person before...”
///
It’s dark outside. The little light that is shining is coming from the bright, white full moon as it’s a clear night. You’re currently in the cold, foggy woods, panting because you’re running, fast. Cisco had found the location of Killer Frost, you don’t exactly know how, probably something to do with his powers that you do not completely understand yet. In the distance you see them, Barry and Cisco, as all of a sudden a shockwave of cold air hits you right in the face. Or call them by their superhero names, Flash and Vibe, who are currently getting their asses kicked by Killer Frost. You’re scared and feel your heartbeat pounding in your chest. Adrenaline rushing through your veins. You notice Cisco taking cover behind a broad tree, seeing the woman with hair as white as snow shooting ice shards at him, piercing the thick bark in the end. They’re talking- no, screaming at each other.
“Caitlin! This isn’t you! Stop!”
“Caitlin is no more, my name is Killer Frost!” she furiously answers while rapidly throwing icy fragments his way.
What if I hurt her? They’ll never forgive me for that, because Caitlin means so much to them. Can I do this?
The help you received from Cisco during your training at STAR Labs did give you some confidence. But it’s not the same, now that you actually have to do this in a real-life, and death, situation.
It cannot wait any longer as the circumstances are escalating quickly. The fight between them is rapidly heating up. No- wait- cooling down? The Flash has now reached Caitlin’s alter-ego, Killer Frost. But he harshly collides with the dirty, forest soil due to the layer of slippery ice that appeared underneath his feet, induced by KF’s cold powers. She aggressively stabs him with a sharp icicle in the leg, making him scream in agony while reaching for his shin. He can’t get away. Cisco is still pinned down behind the tree. You have to act, like right now, preventing a fatal outcome.
Sprinting towards her, you covertly roll over, making an evasive maneuver. You grab her. Arms wrapped around her tight. Closing your eyes and highly concentrating on your powers. You feel heat radiating through your body. You feel it all around you, completely under your control. Contracting your arm muscles extensively since it takes some strength to restrain Killer Frost, who’s now brutally screaming to release her. But you’ve completely blocked out every single sound that is hearable. You block yourself from everything. Clear minded, only focusing on the temperature around you. Controlling it. At a given moment you don’t feel her resisting anymore.
Did- did I… kill her?
When you cautiously open your eyes you see someone with gorgeous brown hair, very very close to you. Her eye colour not silver-white anymore, but beautiful, hazel brown and sparkling. So... this is Caitlin Snow? You’ve become speechless while you’re still holding her tight. She looks into your lost, dreamy eyes, confused, because she doesn’t know who you are and especially why your arms are wrapped around her so strongly.
“Hi- can you maybe please let me go?”, she asks with a soft whispering voice. With her question she snapped you out of your distracted state and you awkwardly answer: “Yeah… eh… sorry, I-I …”. Relaxing your arms and freeing Caitlin, you stop in the middle of the sentence while you watch her staring at her friends in utter guilt. She did this. She hurt them badly. The smirk that had appeared on your face quickly disappears. Cisco swiftly jumps up from behind the damaged tree and rushes towards you two as he noticed the situation is safe. Barry, who’s still in excruciating pain, has removed the sharp object from his leg and the wound is already healing as we speak, perks of having speed-healing powers. Standing there awkwardly, not knowing what to do since you have done your part, you watch Cisco hug Caitlin.
“You’re back again”, he relaxes his breath. Caitlin stutters. “I-I’m… so sorry guys…”, her eyes becoming watery and looking at Barry, who’s still lying on the muddy ground in pain. He sits up.
“It’s okay, Caitlin. We’re just glad that you’re okay, thanks to (Y/N)”, he mentions while they all turn their heads in your direction, making you slightly blush. Gratitude overflowing as this feeling is new to you. Honestly, saving people is kind of an everyday business for you. But this, this feels different. Hoping you can pursue these kinds of ‘superhero matters’ more often in the future, you stand there. A warmth rippling through your body, not because of your meta powers. It’s caused by the charming woman you saved today, curious what will happen between you two, as it slightly feels like you’ve found your counterpart. Literally. ‘Heat’ and ‘Cold’, opposites belonging together.
Come home to me - Chapter 5
Tumblr media
Title: Come home to me
Chapter no: Chapter 5
Author: @arianalilyblack
Pairing: Harry Wells x Reader x Eobard Thawne/Harrison Wells
Word count: 1698
Summary: The wedding of Barry Allen and Iris West is finally here. You and Harry are caught up with the wedding spirit and start to slowly realize that maybe you developed deeper feelings for each other. Everything is perfect until Nazis bust into the church ruining everything. And alongside Earth X villains guess who shows up? Your ex flame, Eobard Thawne aka the Reverse Flash, complicating everything in your lives.
The fight was over. You won. Caitlin was doing some routine checks on you, despite the fact that you had some bruises scattered around your body, you felt fine. Barry was escorting Kara and Alex, Cisco was breaching Ray and Leo back to Earth X, Harry was in his workshop. You were determined to go home and take a long nap after this chaos. Barry had assured you that Thawne was gone. Finally, the nightmare had ended.
The elevator was taking ages to come down. Your leg trampled impatiently as you felt more and more tired. You desperately needed a hot shower and some sleep. The doors opened and you stepped inside. You rested your head on the cool mirror while the elevator ascended. The fresh air struck your face as the doors opened again. You took a deep, refreshing breath and went on to catch the bus. As you were approaching the gates a red strike surrounded you.
„Oh no, not again” you cried out frantically. „Leave me alone!” you shouted to the yellow speedster.
„Well, that’s not the welcoming I was hoping for” he furrowed his eyebrows after taking down his coal. „Do you need a ride home? I could really use a good company tonight” he smirked nonchalantly.
„From you?” you raised one of your eyebrows. „No, thank you. I really don’t want your company right now.”
„Oh, come on Y/N” he nudged you. „It’s fun being back together. Remember, we always had pleasurable time?” he winked.
„Those times are over, Thawne” you sighed. „It’s over…” you motioned your hand between the two of you.
„You aren’t thinking clearly. You need me as much as I need you” he caressed your right arm. „You will always be my little minx, only mine.”
„No, I won’t.” You shook off his hand. „You can’t manipulate me anymore. I’m done with you, Eobard. I’m tired of you.”
„Your mind is filled with lies, little one. I never manipu…” He was disturbed by your hand crashing onto his face.
„Stop lying to me, Eobard!” you yelled into his stunned face. „Just stop already.” A small tear rolled down your cheek. „What is this anyway? What do you want from me?”
„Let’s talk this over, love.” he raised up his hands defensively. „I know I did some terrible things and I’ve hurt you many times. I regret all of it, believe me. But I just can’t stand the thought of losing you. You are everything to me, Y/N.” The way he said it, it was almost like he was about to cry.
„More lies” you rubbed your forehead. „My head is starting to hurt from your lies. There’s no point in trying to work this out. There’s nothing we need to talk about here.”
„I’m sorry, I promise I will change. I would do anything for you” he pleaded reaching out to you.
„Is that so? Well listen closely what you need to do” you called him closer with your index finger. „Forget about me, cause I will never be what you want me to be.”
„You already are, love” he grinned at you. „You became a powerful metahuman, thanks to me.”
„Wha…” you took a few steps back, but he followed you.
„That’s right, love. I gave you this power, I was the one that triggered it by leaving you behind, and I made you who you are today. It was all me.” He gestured towards his face, still smirking.
„No. I don’t believe you” you shook your head in denial. „I did this, I broke your chains which kept me still, and I took back my life from you.”
„Oh, did you now?”
Next thing you knew he was hungrily kissing you, hands all over your back pulling you closer towards his toned body. You tried to escape from his grip; at least that was what you thought, or more like hoped. His presence was so inebriating you couldn’t think straight. He slid his hands down your sides and picked you up; you automatically swung your legs around his waist and he speeded you against a wall. He started to kiss down your neck, hands gripping tightly on your hips. He bit down on your shoulder and you let out a silent moan. You let your hands roam through his hair, getting more eager with every second passed. Your body wanted his every touch, every kiss and every bite.
„That’s my little minx” he whispered into your ear seductively, nipping on it. „You are forever mine.”
„No” you whined as you finally came back to your senses. He was still biting your neck and it seemed your negation didn’t bother him at all.
„Your lips may say no, but your body says otherwise” your stomach clenched as he spoke in a husky voice. „Don’t fight it any longer.”
You built up all your strength and pushed him away. This took him by surprise and he backed a few steps as you landed on the ground. You got up and the first instinct was to run, but then you laughed out loud on how naïve you would be.
„My body may still be under your spell, but my mind is not anymore. I was drunk on your lies, but I sobered up. You have to let me go, Eobard.” You approached him until you were just inches away. Your sudden closeness dazed him. „You left me, so I moved on.” You put your hand on his face to gently stroke it. „I loved you with all of my heart, and a part of me will always love the caring side of you. But it’s over, it ends here and now.”
It was clear now that a little part of you would always love him; you had to accept that and move forward. His jaw clenched under your palm and his eyes darkened. He gripped your wrist tightly while breathing in sharply. The atmosphere became terrifyingly threatening.
„Mark my words, little minx. If I can’t have you…” you heard his low, primal words. „…no one will.”
For a mere moment you thought that this was the end, he would kill you in a blink of an eye and you’d be gone. But nothing happened to you, he just vanished. A sudden wave of anxiety rushed through your body, realizing that you put your team and especially Harry in great danger. You sprinted towards the elevator, panic boiling inside you. Before you could do anything, Eobard was back, holding Harry hostage.
„Harry, no” you hollered in horror. „Let him go, Eobard.”
„I can’t do that now, can I? You expect me to believe that you chose this pathetic human before me? How amusing” he laughed wickedly.
„Please. I’ll do whatever you want, just don’t hurt him” you pleaded desperately.
„Come with me to the future” Eobard offered reaching out for you with his free hand. The other hand was holding Harry captive, almost choking him.
„Fine” you agreed. „Just release him, please.”
„No Y/N” you heard Harry’s soft voice. „Don’t do this for me; don’t sacrifice your life for me.”
„I’m sorry, Harry. For everything” tears started flowing uncontrollably. „This is entirely my fault. But I will make it right, I promise.”
„I won’t let you do this” Harry smiled tenderly at you before hitting Eobard with his elbow right between his ribs.
„Always the brave, aren’t you Wells? Your mini robots may protect you from my vibrating hand, but it won’t protect you from my raw fists.” And with that he started pounding Harry with all his strength. „I will put you in a wheelchair Wells, as a generous gift to always remind her of me. She’ll look at you and she will only see me.”
You let out a mortified scream that echoed all over the place. You knew he was going to kill Harry with his bare hands if you didn’t do something really quick. You couldn’t use your powers; they were too close to each other. You watched as Harry was being pulled up from the ground by his shirt, his face was all bloody and bruised, but Eobard wouldn’t stop. He just kept hitting Harry. You reached into your pocket to your phone and turned on the distress signal.
„Stop it! Please!” you begged at the top of your lungs.
The rage and the fear of losing Harry woke up a hidden energy inside you. Your body was slowly covered by tiny blue sparks. Your little show distracted Eobard for enough time so Barry could take Harry away. Eobard growled frustrated, eyes turning red in anger, he tried to go after Harry, but you stopped him. You started blasting him with multiple lightnings, not giving him a chance to get away. You were angry and hurt so you let it all out on him.
„Don’t you ever come near me, ever again” you thundered. „If I see you again, I will kill you.”
„Go for it, love” he waved to his chest. „Give me all you’ve got.”
You blasted him with all your anger, hatred, betrayal and sorrow, in form of a yellow-blue energy lightning. He really didn’t bother to dodge your hit; he took it right in the middle of his chest, flying off from the powerful blow. Barry came and took the fight out of your hands by speeding Eobard away from you. You stumble somehow back to the facility, your mind numbed and drained. You didn’t remember how you got to the Cortex where Cisco was eagerly monitoring the race of the two speedsters. Caitlin was in the med bay stitching up Harry’s wounds.
„Harry” you shouted in relief and ran towards the man. „I’m so sorry” you said as you hugged him tight, getting a painful groan out of the man. Tears were soaking his black shirt as you buried your crying face into it. His strong arms held you close to his chest while his hands were stroking your back to calm you down, even if every gesture caused him pain.
„Shh. It’s going to be fine” he kissed the top of your head. „We will be fine. You and me.”
The End
I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Princess, Ralph x Reader (sexy times)
Good evening!! I promise I haven't disappeared. I just realized after rereading one of my stories that I needed someone to go over my stories and Daddy Wells aka @countlesswells was willing. So huge shout out to Daddy!!!!!
Rated: M
You and Ralph had been flirting around each other for a while now, but you ended up turning him down each time because a) you weren't completely sure he was serious, and b) you had just ended a relationship two weeks ago. So, you just played it safe and told Ralph no. It was only after Caitlin, or Killer Frost, you should say, came up to you at the museum and told you that whatever game you were playing needed to stop. Everyone downstairs was tired of him thinking “today was the day” only to come back defeated and heartbroken. Also, he was family, so if you didn't want anything to do with him then you needed to stop. It was then when you realized you playing it ‘safe’ was hurting Ralph. Feeling like Frost had stabbed you with an ice dagger, you went in search of Ralph. Finding him as he was getting into his car.
“RALPH!!” Looking up, he saw you make your way to him. Slamming his door, he leaned against the hood as he waited for you to approach him. “Princess, what can I do for you?” Hearing the nickname he had given you made you realize even more that he was never just playing with you. That made you both excited, but scared. Deciding that straight to the point was the best way to go, you answered his question.
“I just had the shit scared out of me by Frost just a moment ago. She told me something that I was blind to.” Sitting a bit higher, Ralph looked as if he was being told the world was getting ready to fall. Placing a hand you pushed him down some and stepped in between his legs.
“Relax. I promise you it was a good thing. Whatever has been going on between us, I was scared to move forward. For two reasons. One, I wasn't able to tell how serious you were, and two, I just ended a relationship a couple weeks ago. I wasn't ready to start again. Technically, I still ain't, but I wanted you to know that I am interested.”
“Why would you ever think I wasn't interested?”
“Well, because I had watched you many times flirt with me and then look at someone else as they walked by.” Holding your hand up, you stopped him from talking. ”WHICH isn't the problem per say. Everyone looks, hell I even look. What the problem is, you doing it right after walking away.” Shaking your head, you took a step back, “that doesn't explain it right. Let me try it again. My ex. I was with my ex for about 3 months. At first he was very attentive to me, flowers, dinners. The whole nine, but after the first two weeks I didn't hear from him that often. At first I thought he was cheating, but that wasn't the case. After the first two months I realized that I was just his booty call. I spent the last month hoping that he would stop thinking that way and actually start a relationship with me. That he would ask to come over and watch movies. Stuff like that, not just call when he was in the mood, but it never happened and I realized I was done.
When you started to flirt I thought yeah, maybe, but then you would look and I was brought back to the thoughts of :Is he really interested? Is he like him, or worse? Does he cheat? So I told you no. I figured I would see what happens, but I never realized I was hurting you, so I am sorry.”
“Me too. I never realized I was looking.”
“Don't do that Ralph, don't say you weren't when you were. Like I said I look too.” Smiling, Ralph pulled you slightly back to him, as he stood.
“Oh, so you look too, uh? Who are we talking about here? Do you look at me? Other men, or maybe other women?” You couldn't help but laugh at the look Ralph had been giving you. You lean in slightly, placing a hand on his chest. “Now why would I tell you that? Isn't it more fun to imagine instead of knowing?”
“Only if it is me or other woman.”
“Well, then it is a good thing you don't know.” Laughing at his reaction, you soon turned serious, “but really Ralph, I was scared. But if you are actually serious about this. Then I would like to see where it goes.”
“All I ask is for a chance. I am not perfect though, I have been nothing but a screw up to this point in my life, and I know I will make mistakes.”
“Hey, no one is perfect. We live an learn.”
“I don't know, princess. I saw you in those jeans a few days ago and if that wasn't a gift from God then I don't know what is. Like seriously, the thoughts that ran through my head. Ugh.” The more Ralph had went on the more you had tried to pull away, but Ralph's arms just stretched around you, keeping you from leaving him.
“Well, now that all that is cleared, let's get the museum closed up so that we aren't late.”
“Late?”
“Yeah, I was on my way to meet the guys for some drinks. So if you are up for it….”
“I would like that.”
When both of you had walked into the bar holding hands the group erupted in cheers. You had tried to hide your face, but Ralph wasn't having it. Pulling a seat out for you, Ralph then went to grab drinks. You had been talking with Iris and Caitlin when someone had caught your eye. Looking over you saw that it was your ex, and by the look he was giving Ralph, you knew he had seen you two walk in together. However, you couldn’t care less. He had his chance and didn't take it. Now, you were seeing where this thing with Ralph was going to take you. You were unsure what time it was, but you knew it was getting close to leaving. Most of the night was spent sitting around the table laughing and joking. You did go out and dance a couple of times with the girls and Cisco. When you had tried to get Ralph out to dance had he refused, saying that he couldn't dance, but every time you had been out there Ralph's eyes never left you.
You were making your way back to the table when Ralph walked up to you. Pulling you to the dance floor when The Civil Wars, Dust to Dust started to play. Placing your hands on his chest, Ralph had pulled you close and started to sway. Having never heard this song before, you couldn't help think that Ralph had something to do with it. Looking up at Ralph, you saw that he had started to smile when you figured it out. You didn't know what to say, so instead you fisted his shirt and pulled him down for a kiss.  When your lips had connected you could hear an audible sigh leave Ralph. You felt Ralph's right hand travel from your waist and move until it was resting on your neck, allowing him to control the kiss. His left hand moved just enough on your hip to allow his thumb to graze the front of your hip. The both of you had been so lost in the kiss you hadn't realized the song was long over and Cisco was standing next to you both.
“Ok people, not everyone is into seeing others make out on a dance floor. So, how about you move it to someplace less crowded and more private, hmm? Everyone is actually ready to get going for the night.” Ralph rolled his eyes as he looked at Cisco.
“Oh, Come on, man. We have to watch Barry and Iris do lovey dovey eyes all the time, but the one time I get….”
“Exactly, Ralph. If we have to watch them all the time why should we have to also watch you two?” Cisco replied. Laughing, you stepped away from both of them. Moving towards the bathroom you felt Ralph grab your hand and pull you back into his embrace.
“Where are you going princess?”
“I need to use the bathroom before we leave.”
“Do you need any help? ‘Cause I would be more than happy to help with any issues you may have.” He said. Pushing away from Ralph, you turned and headed to the bathroom. Laughing as you heard Cisco make a gagging sound before hearing him and Ralph bickering as they headed back to the table.
Just as you were heading back from bathroom you heard yelling and the sound of someone being thrown against a nearby wall. Turning the corner you saw that Ralph had someone pushed against to the wall with his forearm pressed into the guys neck. Running up closer you saw that the guy was your ex.
“Ralph! What are you doing? Let him go so we can get out of here.” Before Ralph could even answer you your ex opened his mouth.
“Yeah Ralph. She wants to get out of here. Didn’t I tell you that she was easy? Just have to get a few drinks into her and she is good to go, but I should warn you, she isn't that good in bed. Just lays there an….” Before he was even able to finish his comment about you, Ralph had pulled him from the wall and punched him, knocking him to the ground out cold, but that didn't stop Ralph from still going after him. He was stopped by Cisco and Barry. Once they knew he wasn't going to chase after your ex they let him go. Instantly he was at your side, whispering as he pulled you in. Unfortunately, you were unable to hear what he was saying and a crowd had started to form. Looking to Barry he nodded his head and told you to get Ralph out of there. Looking to Cisco you asked if he could breach you out of there and to Ralph’s place. Nodding his head, Cisco followed as you pulled Ralph out the door.
Once safely at his place, Ralph seemed to come out of his faze just a little. But his anger was still high as he ended up throwing a magazine acrossed his living room. Everything you tried to do to get him to snap out of it wasn’t working. He just continued to talk to himself. Finally, you ended up pushing him into a chair and straddled his legs and pulled his hands away from his face. Once you had his attention long enough you had told him that everything was ok. That you were here with him at his place. It was like Ralph had just seen you because before you knew it he had you pressed into his chest. Not knowing what else to do, you laid your head on his chest and listened to his heart beat as it slowly started to go back to normal. After about 10 minutes of just sitting there Ralph finally loosened the grip he had on you. Sitting up once more, you looked into Ralph’s eyes. You were able to tell that he still wasn't ready to talk. Standing up, you held your hand out,
“We need to talk about what happened, Ralph. But I can still see that you aren't ready to talk. So why don't you go take a shower. Once you are done we can lay around and watch t.v. for a bit.” Nodding his head, Ralph stood up and turned towards his bedroom. After hearing the shower start you sent a quick text out to Iris telling her that Ralph still wasn't talking about what happened, but that he was starting to come around. Once sent the message you turned both cell phones to silent and turned on the t.v. to some late night talk show. Halfway through the show Ralph came out of his room pulling a shirt over his head. Still not saying much, Ralph pulled you to the couch where he positioned you, allowing him to lay half of his body on top of you. Knowing that he was have to talk at some point, you wrapped your arms around him and held him as he blindly watched t.v.
“He had followed you to the bathroom.” You heard him say, but instead of asking questions you just ran your hands across his back and against the back of his neck, waiting for him to finish his story. ”I had noticed that when we first got there he was staring at you, but seeing that you weren't concerned I just set out to watch him. Throughout the whole night I saw him getting more and more agitated. Then as you had left to use the bathroom I saw him heading that way, so I followed. I stopped him just before he got to them and asked him why he was watching you for so long. He told me that it wasn't any concern of mine, that you were his girlfriend. I told him that was funny. That you had said that you had broken up with someone about two weeks ago, and that you would have told me if you had gotten back with him. He had then said that you may have broken up but that he was willing to take you back and that's why he needed to talk with you. Then he tried to push past me. When I wouldn't let him, he took a swing at me. I blocked him and shoved him into the wall. That's when you showed up, then he said those things and I lost it. Not only was he talking crap, but he was dead set on talking to you…” “I have a feeling he was butt hurt over the fact that I left him. Told me that no one ever leaves him, that he is always the one to leave when he is done with whoever he is with at the time. So then he sees me having fun, and it made him even more mad. ‘Cause tonight was the first time I ever had fun at a bar. Everytime I went out with him and his friends it was always about the drinking. And when we would go back to his place it was all about sex.” In a voice that sounded scared and tiny you almost didn't hear Ralph’s question.
“So you aren't going to leave me for hitting him?” Your heart wanted to break. “No, Ralph. I am not going to leave you for hitting him. I should be thanking you actually ‘cause I saw him when we got to the bar, but I choose to ignore him. I didn't want him to ruin our night and truthfully, Ralph, he didn’t. I am not lying when I told you that tonight was one of the best nights I have had out in a very long time. I had forgotten how fun bars could be with the right people there with you.” Nothing else was said and for a moment you thought that Ralph had fallen asleep. But eventually he sat up and looked you in the eyes. “He never hurt you did he?”
“Not in the way you would think. He hurt my confidence in myself. Made me think that I wasn't good enough to be in a relationship with anyone because if I had been. Why didn't he want to be in one with me?”
“What about physically?”At the question you looked down afraid to answer that question because it was embarrassing, but Ralph wasn’t having it. Placing a finger under your chin. he lifted your head so that you could look at him. While he ran his thumb over your cheek he asked again, “Princess, please. Did that man ever hurt you physically?”
“Not in the way that you may think.”
“What do you mean?”
“When we… oh god this is embarrassing. He never laid a hand on me as in hitting or anything like that, but his early comment about me not being good at sex. Well that is because he could never make me cum. He was never thorough in his preparation.” If it wasn't such a serious conversation you would have been laughing at Ralph’s reaction. You were definitely able to tell that was not where he thought this had been going. Deciding that you were done talking about your ex, you changed the subject. “It is getting late Ralph. I think that I should be heading home.” As you got up to gather your belongings. Ralph shot up off the couch.
“Stay! I mean would you like to stay? Don't worry I want to do anything…. I mean I do want to do things with you, but I have no issue waiting. I will even sleep on the couch if you want me to.”
“If I stay, Ralph, I won’t have you sleeping on the couch. I think we can manage sleeping in the same bed. Only issue is I don't have anything to wear to bed.” “I think I may have something that will work.” Making sure that everything was shut off you followed Ralph to his room. After grabbing you a t-shirt and a pair of shorts, he showed you the bathroom and let you do what you needed to do. After changing you realized that you wouldn't be able to sleep in the shorts so you took them off. Walking back into Ralph’s room, you found that he had removed his shirt and was already in bed. Climbing into the bed, you turned to your side facing away from Ralph. Reaching behind yourself, you pulled Ralph, so that he was flushed against your back. “So, not trying anything here, but no shorts, huh?” Chuckling you answered. “Nope no shorts, I don't like to sleep in shorts or pants. What about you, mister? No shirt?”
“Hey, be lucky I have my pants on. Normally I sleep naked, but kinda figured it might scare you if you found me naked in bed.”
“Why would I be scared? They all look the same.” Realizing that you had been trying to lighten the mood by cracking a joke, Ralph laughed.
“Oh trust me, princess, you haven't seen what I have. And when you are ready to see what I have, I can guarantee that I will have you screaming my name.”
“Don't write checks you can keep Ralph,” you didn't need to finish that  thought because you both knew were you had been taking it. Pulling you even closer, both of you just laid in the quiet, both thinking.
“For the record. What happened with you and him was on him. He just wanted his own pleasure and could care less if you got yours. Not everyone is like that and I can't wait, if you let me, to prove him wrong.”
“I had others before him Ralph. In one way or another they are all the same. All they want is for you to get into it just enough so that they can get their own.”
“So you're telling me that you have never had an orgasm? Not by fingers, mouth, or actual sex?”
“By someone other than myself? No, no, no, and no. Why is it so shocking to hear? There are plenty women out there who don't get orgasms.”
“It’s shocking to hear because it sounds like the only reason you never had one was because the guys you were with were so far up their own asses that they had no idea what sex was about.”
“So what is sex about to you, Ralph?”
“Well, pleasure. but just not mine. I want my partner to be a blubbering mess. I want them so tired that they can’t walk, or think. That all they can do after is fall asleep. Princess, please. I know that I told you that I would wait till you say, but please let me make you feel good. We don't have to go farther than me using my fingers. Please, let me make amends for the idiots before me.” Your heart was racing. You wanted to say no because you were afraid that he would find out that you had something wrong. That he wouldn’t want to be with you anymore once finding out, but instead you found yourself nodding your head yes. You tried to roll to your back, but Ralph stopped you. “No, stay like this. I want you to feel comfortable and I think this is the best way for that.” Pulling away from you slightly, Ralph had turned to reach into his nightstand. After finding what he needed he then turned off the light cascading the room in darkness. The only light came from the street lights outside of his bedroom window. Placing himself once more behind you, he had placed what he was searching for into your hands. Looking at the bottle you saw that it was lube, looking up at Ralph you gave him a smirk.
“What? I am a young male and having this new ability I wanted to run some experiments myself, outside of the lab.”
“Oh God Ralph!”
“What come on, I can't be the only one who has thought about it!”
“Ok, fine. So what am I doing with this?”
“I want you to put some on my fingers for me. I want you to have some control over this, if something doesn't feel good let me know.” After adding some lube to Ralph’s fingers, he reached into your underwear. Instead of going right to your clit, he ran his fingers all over. Once covered in the lube he used his whole hand and began to rub your outer lips, applying pressure to you with the palm of his hand. Soon he was running a single digit between your folds. He would push the tip of his finger inside you and bring it back out, rubbing you just under your cilt and above your enterance. Entering you a bit further he pulled out once again but this time he started to make circles around your clit changing it from clockwise to counter clockwise. Everytime it felt like you were getting dry Ralph would run his finger back down to your entrance and run his finger through your moister. Once his finger was fully coated he would bring it back to your clit and make the circles around it.
You weren't even sure how long he had been doing it, but you were starting get the feeling you only got when you got yourself off. Soon you found yourself moving your hips into his hand. You tried to keep yourself still, but you were finding it harder and harder to the closer you got to that feeling. Placing your hands on Ralph's arm you held his arm against you  has your hips started to move at an uneven pace. Ralph had lifted all but his middle finger and you used that to get closer to your release. Sliding his finger all the way in you started to grind against his balm. When you finally came you clamped your legs around his hand, but Ralph made no move to take it away. Once you finally had caught your breath and released his hand Ralph brought it to your hip were he began to run circles across it.  You didn't know what to say. Every Time you opened your mouth nothing came out. Kissing your shoulder, Ralph just pulled you once more against him. With you flushed against one another you couldn't help but feel his cock resting hard between the both of you.
“What about you, Ralph?”
“Dont worry about me. This is all about you.”
“We can continue if you want, Ralph. It isn't fair that I get something and you don't.”
“But that was the point Princess. You needed that more than me. You needed to see that there can be pleasure if it’s done right. Trust me, seeing you rubbing against my hand like that. Is burned into my mind and I will use it time and time again when I am alone.”
Rolling over to face Ralph, you gave him a pleading look. Running your hand up and down Ralph’s chest you could feel him twitch between the both of you.
“Ralph, please. Everything you have done tonight has showed me that I was wrong about questioning if you cared or not, and the fact that you are not expecting anything in return. Makes me want to do this more than ever. So please, I want to do this.” To make your point you sat up and removed your shirt then you reached down under the sheets and pulled your underwear off. Once Ralph had saw you naked, you knew that you had won. Looking back into his eyes, you smiled, “I mean it Ralph. I want this, please.”
Ralph brought himself on top of you and began to kiss you. Where as earlier you let him control the kiss, you fought with him this time. Reaching his hips you began to push at his pants. Sliding them off till he sprang free. Now free from his pants you could feel his precum dripping on your stomach. Stretching his arm he was able to remove his pants completely and once that was done you found him pressing himself to you. Causing enough friction for the both of you. Angling your neck to the side Ralph buried his face into it. Leaving kisses and little bites all up and down it. Moving further down slightly he ran open kisses down you chest till his mouth found your nipple. Closing his mouth around it he sucked and lick at it till your nipple was hard. Then out of the nowhere he clamped his teeth on it. Causing you to arch your back in pleasure. After releasing your nipple he went back to lapping and blowing on it. Relieving some of the pain, you bring a knee up to his hip, you then push up hoping to find the friction that was there earlier.
“Please Ralph. I need you.” You pleaded. Chuckling, Ralph grab at the knee you had brought up, bringing it up until it rested on his shoulder. Coming to his knees some, he grabbed his cock and slid it all the way in. Rolling both your eyes and your head, you let out a sigh at being filled. Once he knew you were good he started to move is hips at a steady rhythm.
You were in heaven. Never has anyone ever made you feel this good. Normally they were off to the races. Moving in you at such a fast pace that you felt nothing. But Ralph, Ralph was moving at a pace that let you feel everything. Pulling out and pushing back in, he would roll his hips just enough for him to rub against your clit. Plus having your knee resting on his shoulder allowed him to push in deeper. Leaning back down to your neck Ralph licked up the sweat that had started to form.
“God Ralph, you feel amazing right now.”
“Tell me when, princess,” not knowing what he was talking about you were about to ask when you started to feel him grow inside of you and even as he was growing he continued you roll his hips.
“There! That's good right there. Oh god Ralph I am close. Please, just like that. Just like that.”
“Oh princess, you truly have no idea how good you feel.” You could feel yourself getting closer and closer, but you needed more. Reaching between the both of you found your clit and started to rub yourself, but no matter how fast you rubbed yourself you weren't any closer to coming in fact it felt as if you were further away from coming. Letting out a cry you started to pull your hand when Ralph spoke again. “No. No, don't stop. Just slow down. That's right, just like that don't use your whole hand, just 2 fingers one on each side. Now go in circles.” He said, verbally assisting your movements. “There you go. Just like that, just like that. I cant feel you getting tighter around me. God keep it up.”
Following what Ralph had told you to do you found yourself back to where you once were. You were dying to go faster, for Ralph to move faster, but he wouldn't so you kept your pace to his. Then without realizing it you were cumming. Pulling your hand from between the both of you, your hand came to his shoulder were you ran them down his back as you screamed your release. Dropping your leg back to the bed, you felt Ralph change his size once more, allowing him to move at a quicker rhythm, chasing his own release. After a few thrusts, Ralph was pulling out cumming all over your stomach. Not caring about all the cum on you, Ralph fell so that he was resting on your chest. Placing kisses anywhere he could reach as you both caught your breath. Finally moving off of you, Ralph reached down to where you had thrown the shirt. After wiping you and then himself Ralph pulled you to him once more. As you were drifting off to sleep you squeezed Ralph’s arm and whispered,
“Thank you.”
Request: Please write a team flash x reader about Nora’s granddaughter accidentally go to past and actually need the teams help. Nora notices she seems to do everything to not hang with her and she seems to admire Caitlin like she is her grandma and seems to love Iris as well. She finds out the reader doesn’t like Nora because she didn’t approve of Bart(her future son) marrying her mom because the readers mom is eobard thawnes daughter
Note: Thanks to @bartallenisbae for the request!
You had to go to the past. You needed help desperately. Central City was in trouble, well the future Central City was in trouble. But, technicalities doesn’t matter. Central City was going to be destroyed by a group of villains. They wanted to level the city in order to recreate in their vision. It was insane, but you had to stop them. You were Central City’s speedster hero. You needed to protect the city but this was too much. Like you said, you needed help. Who would have the best advice for this kind of situation? The original speedster, The Flash, aka your great grandfather. Unfortunately, you picked an awful time to appear. Your grandmother, Nora West-Allen, decided also to travel back in time to meet her father. Now generations of the Flash, along with friends, stand in the Cortex baffled with how quickly their life spiraled into the impossible.
“Wait, hold up,” Cisco mumbled. “Let me get this straight. Your daughter, Nora, travels back to this time period. And now, Nora’s granddaughter, your great granddaughter, also decides to travel back to this specific moment as well.” Cisco stared at Barry looking for justification, but all he got was a dumbfounded stare. The same look everyone shared.
“Yes, I know my timing is not the best but Central City, my Central City, is in danger. There’s these group of people who are hell-bent on destroying the city and I have no idea how to stop them,” you explained. “Please, I need your help.”
“Right, yes, of course we can help. The sooner we figure out the problem the faster you can go back to your time and save the city,” Barry nodded.
Everyone agreed smiling and nodding, expect Nora. She stared at you in awe. Not only will she have child of her own, but she’ll have a granddaughter too. Excitements coursed through her. However, a jolt of fear and shock followed the excitement. Is this how her parents felt when she arrived? She was becoming giddy and desperately wanted to get to know everything about you.
A smile spread across her features as Nora asked, “Can I help?”
You glanced over at her. You raised an eyebrow and gave her a once over. “I think I only need the Flash’s help.”
If Ralph was in the room, and not have an existential crisis over time travel and the multiverse, he would have ‘oo’ed and hissed through his teeth. The others settled on giving Nora a sad look while throwing a confused face your way. Why did you say that?
“Nora’s help might speed up the process,” Barry defended his daughter. “The more help we have the faster you can go home.”
You muttered, “Fine.”
You’ve been with Team Flash for a few days, and it was obvious you treated Nora differently from the others. You were cold and distant, and no one could understand why. It was only Nora. With everyone else you would smile and laugh, joke and tell stories. You were an absolute joy to be around, however, whenever you immediately spotted Nora your cheery disposition left in seconds. For the most part, Nora kept her distant unsure how to approach you. While you gravitated towards Caitlin and Iris more than the others.
One day, the three of you were lounging around in the Cortex. Barry and Nora were off training together while Cisco was in his workshop developing a device to hopeful counterattack the group’s plans to wipe out future Central City. The three of you chatted together. It was natural. Conversations always flowed easily. You joked, laughed, and talked about anything.
“Nanny Caity, you should have seen the man’s face! He was so shocked that I could phase through the door. I phased through and punched him right across his dumb face then dragged his ass to Iron Heights. It was amazing. Nanny ‘Ris, you were so proud.”
You were telling the story of your first solo run. You proudly smiled at them waiting for their responses, hoping for their congratulations, however, you were met with shocked faces. Your eyebrows knitted together trying to understand why they were staring at you so strangely. Then it hit you. You called them Nanny Caity and Nanny ‘Ris.
“Oh my god! I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to call you guys that. Is that weird? It’s weird, sorry. It was just out of habit,” you apologized repeatedly. A wave of embarrassment rolled through you as you dropped your head looking away from them. After the initial shock, Caitlin and Iris smiled at you.
“No, no, it’s fine. In fact, I kinda like it,” Iris said. Your head jerked upwards seeing their smiling features.
Caitlin gave you a side hug and added, “Yeah, it’s no big deal. We are family after all, just a little different.” All three of you laughed.
However, the three of you didn’t notice Nora. Nora who walked in on you calling Caitlin and Iris by their nicknames, only to hide behind the doorway more confused and more heartbroken. Why was her own granddaughter closer with her mom and her mom’s friend? Why did you constantly give her the silent treatment? It just doesn’t make sense. What happened between the two of you that made you distant yourself from her?
The next day, Nora decided to approach Iris and Caitlin hoping the two could shed some light on the matter. Walking into the Cortex, Nora spotted her mom and Caitlin. Her mom fiddled with computers at the main controls while Caitlin was in the medical bay cleaning supplies. Thankfully, it was only those two. You, Barry, and Cisco were creating a plans on how to use Cisco’s device to save Central City.
Nora whispered, “Mom.” Her soft, broken voice instantly captured her mom’s ears.
Iris whirled around seeing her daughter’s broken state. Her hunched back, her drooped shoulders, her sad eyes, and the frown stuck on her face. A rain cloud over head would have completed the depressive ensemble.
“Nora, what’s wrong,” Iris rushed over to comfort her daughter. Caitlin glanced over from her work station seeing the disheartened future speedster.
“I just want to know why (Y/N) hates me so much,” Nora began to explain. “You and Caitlin are so close with her but she ignores me every time I walk into the room. Do either of you know why? Why does (Y/N) hate me?”
Caitlin walked over to the pair, “We don’t know, Nora. (Y/N) doesn’t talk about that, but she doesn’t hate you.”
“She has too. You see how she acts towards me,” Nora argued.
“No, Caitlin’s right, I bet she doesn’t hate you. Maybe there’s a problem in the future that you two just haven’t solved yet. Maybe there’s a little animosity, but I bet you can solve it. Just talk to her,” Iris said.
Nora mumbled, “Talk to her?”
“Yeah, talk to her,” Iris answered. “If you want I can be there for support. I bet Caitlin can come too.” Caitlin nodded agreeing.
“Yes, can you. Both of you. Please. Okay, yeah, alright, I’ll talk to her later. Thanks mom,” Nora zoomed away.
“Can you believe this is our life now?” Iris asked Caitlin as she watched her future daughter speed off.
“I still have trouble believing half of the stuff we see,” Caitlin answered.
Later that day, everyone was in the Cortex. Minus Ralph, he was out doing some investigative work for some unknown reason. You were sitting with your feet kicked up on one of the desks in the corner of the room laughing. Barry and Cisco were standing on the other side leaning on each other also laughing. Iris and Caitlin were at the main control giggling to themselves. Everyone was laughing and enjoying each other’s company when purple and yellow lightning flashed in front of you. Nora stood in front of you with a determined look on her face. She glanced over her shoulder to Iris and Caitlin who nodded at her. They would be here for her.
Nora took a deep breath and said, “(Y/N), I want to know why you’ve been so distance with me. What did I do you in the future?”
No. I’m not having this conversation. You stood up ignoring her. You began your march for the exit. This wasn’t even your Nora, but the anger still rose every time you saw her face. You would have successfully dodged the question, but Caitlin and Iris blocked the way.
“(Y/N), she has a right to know,” Iris stated. “She’s family. Maybe if you tell her now then maybe in the future she can fix it.”
You huffed crossing your arms. “Doubtful.”
“(Y/N),” Caitlin warned. “Just try. See it from her side. Nora just found out that she has a granddaughter and she has no idea why her future granddaughter is angry with her.”
Your anger was getting the better of you. “Why? She barely knows her actual granddaughter in the future! So why should I return the favor now?”
“What do you mean,” Nora asked.
Your body crackled with lightning. Orange lightning clung to your body as you flashed in front of her. “Because you never approved of your son, my dad, marrying my mom. You hated my mom. You hated their relationship. You did this,” you pointed your finger at you.
Cisco asked the obvious, “Why? Who’s your mom?”
“Guess. It shouldn’t take this long for a genius team to know that yellow and red makes orange,” you growled.
“Thawne,” Barry whispered.
“Ding-ding, we have a winner. My mom is Eobard Thawne’s daughter.”
Nora said, “The Reverse Flash? My son – “
“Bart.” You cut her off. “Your son’s name is Bart. Short for Bartholomew, you named him after your dad.”
“Bart. Okay. So Bart marries the Reverse Flash’s daughter. But, but the Reverse Flash is evil. He’s done so many awful things not only to my dad but others,” Nora argued.
You laughed drily. “Why am I not surprised? The same argument I’ve heard for years: my mom’s dad is the Flash’s number one enemy so she has to be evil. Right? You know just because someone’s parent or bloodline has done horrible things does not mean the rest of them are evil or destined to be. By that logic, I would be evil. But no. I’m here in the past hoping, begging, for you all to help me find a solution to my problem to save Central City from being destroyed.”
Everyone simply stared. They didn’t know what to say, however, you had plenty. You had years’ worth of pent up anger. Plenty of things you want to tell your grandmother and this might be your only chance.
“You are the one that broke up this family. My mom has done everything she could to be in your good grace, but all you saw was the Reverse Flash’s child, not an actual human being with feelings. Dad tried everything to make you happy. But no. All you wanted was the relationship to end. But, oh look, I come along and you try to get to know me. But you won’t even try to get to know your son’s wife. No. Just no. There was so many arguments, so many fights that after so many years of trying, we just stopped talking.”
Tears started streaming down your face. Anger finally passed. Only heartache remained. “And you know what? The worst part is I still wanted to try and get to know you. I want to know my grandmother. I grew up with these amazing stories of you. Dad did everything in his power to constantly tell me all of the heroic things you’ve done. He wanted for you to still be a hero in my eyes.” A sob escaped. “I have my great grandparents, Nanny Caity, and Pappy Cisco, but I never had you in my life. Mom and dad continue to battle with the idea to call you every day, but they never do. They wanted us to be a family, but it was too much pain. So many harsh things were said. We’re speedsters, dammit! All of us! And we should have stuck together in this crazy world, but it just never worked.”
Nora was shocked. She tried to find the right word to help your heartache, but everything evaded her. “I, I’m sorr –“
“No, don’t,” you cut her off. You wiped the tears from your face. You let out a long sigh, “Don’t say you’re sorry. Don’t apologize. You know what? Actually do something. When you go back, when you have a kid, and when that kid grows up and wants to marry the love of his life: don’t make a scene, don’t say any comments, and don’t push them away. Because they’re going to have a kid who is going to idolize you and quickly realize her hero is not the best person in the world. And it will destroy her. So make it up to her. Make it up to young me. Change it so that I don’t grow up without my grandmother. So that I don’t only have stories and heated arguments replay over and over in my head. Change it so I can grow up proudly knowing XS is my hero and my grandmother.”
Nora smiled at you. Tear glistened in her eyes as she tried to blink them away. “Yes, I will. You can count on me.” She paused. “Can I give you a hug?”
“Yes, you can,” you smiled.
Nora pulled you into a hug. “I promise I’ll make it better. I’ll make sure your mom is welcomed into the family. I’ll make sure that I will always cheer on my granddaughter as she speeds off to save the city,” she whispered into your ear.
“That’s all I ever wanted, Nanny Nora,” you whispered back.
