The hardest thing about dating AJ is the tantrums he throws when something doesn’t go the way he wants it to.

He’d get mad, leave you to figure it out yourself and walk around all moody.

Most of the time it was no big deal, you’d end up talking it out in the end and he wouldn’t do anything TOO dramatic.

But today? Oh today he really outdid himself.

You were both invited to a little get together at Kenny’s. No drinks, no nothing, just a sober friendly meet up.

During the meet up you and Kenny started to have a pretty passionate conversation, doesn’t matter what the topic was, let’s just say it really got both of you concentrated. So concentrated that you somehow, by AJ’s words, ignored him all evening.

Of course after he pulled you to the side and told you how he felt you laughed in his face. It seemed so absurd to you that you thought he was joking. You ignoring him for Kenny?! Never.

AJ took it the wrong way, and with a dramatic “Oh thas how it is?” He left.

Just left.

You didn’t know where he went, how he could even go anywhere because you’re the one who drives. You asked Niko if AJ told him anything, but as you predicted he didn’t. The only option was to go back home and either find him there or wait for him.

Now, here you were, driving in the empty streets of your little village, praying that once you pull over to your house you’ll see the lights on.

And you did!

Your heart jumped in excitement.

“Thank god,” you sighed.

You parked the car and closed the yard gate, making your way to the door.

“Aje?” You called out.

No answer.

You tossed your shoes off and threw the car keys into the bowl next to the cupboard.

“AJ-” you cut yourself off as you noticed him in the living room, curled up on the far side of the couch scrolling through his phone with his back to you.

“AJ,” you said as gently as you could.

“Hey,” you frowned “I’m sorry.”

In response he just stayed silent.

“Aje, stop it.” You walked around the couch, over to him. He quickly flipped onto the other side. You suppressed a chuckle and sat down beside him. He was so petty.

“AJ can we not do this? Why are you acting like this? I was JUST TALKING to Kenny, you know it.”

He sat up, pulled down the hood of his sweater and stared at you.

You blinked, feeling a little embarrassed under his gaze. But he didn’t say anything, just kept looking with that hurt expression on his face.

“Aje,” you whispered, scooting over to him. He didn’t move away, he waited for your next actions. “I’m sorry. I really am, but you can’t just leave me like that. I have every right to be mad too.”

He scoffed and wanted to turn away, but your grabbed his sleeve and tugged at it “No it’s not funny or whatever. Why do you do that and then just expect me to come back, running and praying for you to forgive me? We’re ADULTS. We can talk it out you know.”

His face softened.

For about three minutes the two of you held eye contact, until finally AJ spoke up “You’re right,” he sighed “I-I’m sorry. It’s just that I hate it when you don’t pay attention to me. As stupid as it might sound and as needy as it might come out, but it really really hurts me.”

You nod “I get it. And I swear I don’t do it on purpose. And I won’t. Ever. But Aje, you can’t be running off like that.”

He scratched the back of his head and looked down at the floor, nodding.

“Sorry.” He mumbled.

“You moved over closer and envelope him in a hug, slight tightening your grip after feeling him melt into you.

“I’m sorry.”

“I’m sorry too.”

You grinned to yourself, whilst he breathed out in relief.

“Never forget that I love your lil stupid ass.” You snickered.

“Aye!” He wanted to pull away but you clung on “You cheeky.” He shook his head playfully.

The Spider

Imagine cancelling plans because you and AJ are both scared of the spider in the bathroom and can’t go in to get ready.

It was an unusually sunny day in London.

It was the perfect weather for you to wear that lovely sundress you'd bought at your and Aj's trip to the country for one of his videos.

Today you were invited to a triple date with Kenny, Niko and their girlfriends who you were very good friends with, Marly and Sophie.

You were excited…more for the perfect-dress weather than the actual date, but nevertheless you still wanted you and AJ to get out of the house.

You laid out your dress on the bed, admiring it for a second before heading to the bathroom to start doing your makeup.

In the kitchen, AJ was busy eating watermelon while watching the news, as a joke...well kind of.

After moving in together you realized the apartment tv was just a normal tv. It just showed regular channels without being able to connect to Netflix, YouTube or whatever else.

Of course he ordered another one, there was no way he'd be able to live with BBC 1, BBC 2, BBC 3, BBC4 and however many other BBC's he had counted while flicking through the catalogue.

"So many BBC's." He told you "Oh look another one." He'd point to himself and laugh, earning and eye roll and a chuckle from you.

So, you were in the bathroom, focusing on your eyeliner. Squinting with your mouth open and tongue out in concentration.

Suddenly you saw something move with the corner of your eye. You finished the tail of your wings and blinked, before turning your head around and seeing the biggest long-legged...

Meanwhile AJ was fully hooked into the news reporter who was talking about a a big car crash that resulted in a car flying off a bridge in the suburbs.

"Holy shit." He furrowed his eyebrows, chewing. The descriptions of the scene were intense and very detailed. AJ was barely blinking from how fully into it he was.

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"

AJ slipped off his chair, landing right onto his butt, coughing and spitting out the watermelon seed he just inhaled.

You ran into the kitchen, one eye with makeup, the other completely bare.

"What the fuck?" AJ raised his eyebrows as he stood up.

"There's a spider in the bathroom."

"Why you yellin like that?" He huffed, putting his fork on the table.

"Why am I yel-" you cut your own words with a scoff "Go get it then." You pointed to the bedroom.

He rolled his eyes "I will go and get it." He grabbed his slipper and stomped to the bathroom.

You were so scared you didn't even want to go back until it was definitely dead.

You impatiently waited for AJ, chewing on a piece of watermelon that you stole off of his plate.

"FUUUUUCCKKKK!"

This time you were coughing up watermelon, while AJ speed bolted out of your room, shutting the door behind him.

"Did you get it?" You raised your eyebrows, leaning to panting AJ.

"What the hell do you think?"

"Yes?" You asked hopefully.

"NO! THAT THING IS MASSIVE!"

"Told you."

"You didn’t tell me!"

"Well go back and get it then genius!"

"YOU SAW IT FIRST!"

"You're the man!"

There was a small pause before the two of you cracked up, laughing at eachother.

"I-it's just like the meme," you wheezed.

"That's what I thought of too." AJ snorted.

"No but seriously go fucking get it, Aje." You cleared your throat, now being dead serious.

"There is no way I'm going back in."

"You have to."

"Says who?"

"Don't you love me?" You pouted.

"I do, but I'd rather live than get eaten by that thing. It's like twice my size!"

You chuckle "AJ."

"What?" He grins.

"I can't get ready if that thing is in there."

"Well there's nothing I can do about it."

"AJ go and kill it." You whine "Please."

"I'm sorry I literally can't. I swear I can’t. "

"You just gotta slap it." You begged.

"Then you go do it."

You shake your head. "You've filmed with things that were way worse." You pointed out.

"There's no way I'm going back there."

"What the hell am I supposed to do?" You pointed to your bare eye.

AJ shrugs.

You frown.

"...You know we could stay in and watch some Netflix." He said in a suggestive tone.

"Look at our tv."

"Well laptops exist you know."

You sigh.

"I can call Niko to come get it after they've had lunch."

You nod.

"So much for the perfect dress-weather."

he’d be a menace to you in his YouTube videos and you’d have no choice but to send the most outrageous violations back at him making the comments like: “I give it 2 months” , “they’re gonna end eachother” , “who let them date?”.

every single one of his “shut up”s would have an “I love you” inside it

he’d keep telling everyone that “he hates it when people touch him” to which you’d always laugh because you know that at home there’s barely a second when he’s away from you.

he’d do the randomest things that even you wouldn’t understand. like imagine wearing a tight dress and showing it off to AJ, only for him to call you “Hot” but then adding a “no homo though” at the end. leaving you flabbergasted but laughing.

you’d always and I mean always fight each other for the blanket. before, during, after sleep, it don’t matter your always scrapping about it.

speaking of bed, Aj is the type of guy who’d think out loud and he would wholeheartedly trust you. Like you’d just be trying to sleep and he’d start voicing his 3am thoughts and asking weird questions and the only way you’d be able to shut him up is by flinging a pillow at his face.

also you’d fall asleep in cute positions like in each others embrace or one of you spooning the other, but during the night you’d kick and whack each other on the face because you’re both pushing one another.

whenever you reach over him to grab something he’d bite your arm.

you’d always always always want to touch his hair and most of the time he’d let you as long as you gave him head scratches later.

he’d make jokes or say something funny while you’re driving and it’d be so funny you’d have to literally slow the car down.

he’d have the dumbest puns and pick up lines and he would always use them no matter what you look like and where you are. “If you were a vegetable you’d be a cute-cumber” , “Are you from Tennessee? Because you’re the only ten I see” , “Do you work at Starbucks? Because I love you a latte”.

your wear each others clothes and it wouldn’t even look weird because his sizes don’t even look that big on you and he likes your style so if one of your shirts looks good on him you best believe he will be taking it.

when he’s tired after a long day of shooting he’d be the absolute sweetest and he’d want to just cling onto you while you’re in bed scrolling on your phone.

he’d also have these random waves of affection where he’d like get you food, buy you something or take you out for dinner or shopping. And after a while you start to notice and you’d make fun of him for being a sweetie and being nice, to which he’d respond with “shut up”. And yes it would be that exact “shut up” that I mentioned earlier.

you’d always have play-fights where you both piss eachother off over nothing but when you actually end up in a conflict you both wouldn’t know what to do because usually it’s always jokes.

most of your fights would start because you’re both exhausted after a long day and as soon as you both go to bed he’d wiggle over to you for an apology hug and you’d fall asleep in each others arms.

sometimes AJ would get jealous of you working with other guys and just generally he’d want to be more protective, but you know him so well that you’d instantly see his jealousy and you would tease him about it until he’s done being a little green goblin because you both know that in reality you wouldn’t trade him for the world.

You giggled covering your smile as you watched AJ skip over to you with his arms open.

He gave you an affectionate kiss on the cheek before clinging onto you for a hug. You watched his friends wave to you from the couch.

It was a cold noon and you had come to pick AJ up from his long day of shooting that was rolling since 10am.

"Peace out everyone." He turned to Niko, Kenny, Chunkz and Sharky.

"Aje," you nudged him "Bye guys." You smiled before AJ began dragging you out of the set with great enthusiasm.

"I swear that guy found the one." Chunkz mumbled to Sharky who was nodding and still in shock since the beginning of your relationship.

"How'd today go?" You asked, rubbing his back as he continued to hold onto you.

"It was aight. I'm starving."

"Obviously," you nodded, stopping next to your car "Well Im ready to take you wherever your heart desires." You jokingly bow like a gentleman.

As you get in the car he replies "Nando's please, I'm begging you."

"Nando's it is." You start the car.

While you're putting your seatbelt on, setting the gear and preparing for the drive, AJ's busy getting comfortable next to you.

He reaches for the blanket that was in the backseat and wraps himself in it, then proceeds to adjust the back of the seat by leaning it back almost all the way. You simply react with a chuckle and an eye roll as he continues getting as cozy as he could.

Heater: on, heated seating: on, music: on.

You set your trip to the Nando's that was closest to your house, meanwhile AJ scrolled through his playlist, trying to find the perfect song for this journey.

Minutes later you heard a familiar melody start playing.

"Mm how romantic," you joke sarcastically, earning a small push from AJ.

"It's a good song!"

"Hey careful I'm the one driving."

"Girl you do da-mage to me! You know I love it! Yeah I love you," he turns to you, smugly singing the lyrics while also being dramatic with his hands. Even with just the corner of your eye you can see how funny he looks.

AJ enjoyed every second of the ride, he even slipped in a little nap near the end.

You loved it when AJ was happy, it made you happy. You knew that he was famous for being a "prickly little hedgehog who never wanted to be touched" amongst his friends, and you genuinely always laughed at those words because with you he was the complete opposite. So sweet, calm and absolutely adorable. Still energetic of course, but extra soft on the inside.

You parked your car, turning it off and looking at AJ who was dozing away, clutching onto the blanket.

You grinned.

"AJ," you whispered, learning over to him and moving some loose curls out of his eyes "Ajeee." You hummed, scratching the top of his head "We're here."

You sincerely thought that he was asleep, that was until a smile began to tug on the corners of his lips.

"AJ!" You laughed, giving him a good shove, this time instantly waking him up as he complained about how hard you had pushed him.

"Tsk, stop whining you big baby." You unbuckled your seatbelt and yanked the blanket off of him, then proceeded to exit the car. He got out with a tired groan, stretching and yawning.

Two hours later you were heading back to the car.

"-And then that's when they cut the cameras," AJ chuckled, telling you about the day "You know the craziest thing is that they said they were going to cut the last part out?" He exclaimed, waving his arms around "I was so pissed I swear." He huffed.

You chuckled and shook your head.

"What? It's not funny." Despite him saying that, he was still smiling.

"You're so cute when you're explaining something." You glance at him.

"I am NOT." He argued "I'm just very emotional because people from set got me fucked up."

"Yeah, yeah, alright." You reach for the top of his head to fluff around his curls. He swats your arm away and then proceeds to throw playful punches at you, jumping from side to side in front of you.

"Oh wow, wow," you raise your hands up sarcastically "Calm down Mr.ToughGuy. Not very gentlemen of you to hit a Miss."

He immediately stops and puts his hands in his pockets "Your my Miss tho."

"That's even worse!" You exclaim with laugh.

"I'm joking, I'm joking." He squeezes you from the side "I'd never." He kisses your cheek before quietly adding "Because you'd probably beat me up before I could."

You giggle and nudge him "I will."

Back on the road you noticed that you were low on gas and decided to stop at the nearest petrol station . While you filled up the car, AJ was busy inside the gas stop. You didn't even have time to blink when you noticed him standing next to you with a big slushy in his hands.

"AJ," you laugh at the innocent look on his face, like it wasn't him who had just bought that outrageously massive cup of ice. He shrugs and gets in the car, not evaluating any further.

The last ten minutes in the car were very peaceful. A gentle tune played while AJ hummed, accompanying the song whilst also sipping the gigantic slushy under the fuzzy blanket. Occasionally he'd reach the cup over to you and let you have a sip, allowing you to keep your eyes on the road while tapping the rhythm of the music on the steering wheel…
