The basics of gun safety are easy. Simple. Never look down the barrel, never point it at something you’re not planning on killing, keep your finger off the trigger until you’re ready to shoot.

Thus, it is reasonable to say that it’s a liability to have a loaded weapon with a hair-trigger. This is the argument Sentinel receives over and over whenever his bodyguard is mentioned.

(Though, to be fair, B was ‘the weapon’ or ‘the project’ for a long, long while. Airachnid was the one to suggest calling him a bodyguard— it’s softer than ‘weapon’, with the connotation of protection and defence rather than something meant for war.

It’s a good thing Sentinel is adept at lying, because B-127 is absolutely meant for war.)

He stands in his throne room, overlooking the city. It’s a quiet night, the sounds of flying muted through the thick glass.

He has a problem. A rather large one, at that. Someone has been getting into the Archives, bolder and bolder than before. Normally he’d leave it to his guards, but it kept happening. Incompetent morons. Even worse, they’d managed to breach the upper levels, meaning the highly classified information Airachnid had been so long suppressing was in danger of being leaked.

Despite how Sentinel’s more impulsive side languished in the boredom of Iacon now, he knew better than to go in guns blazing as a Prime. This is a delicate situation. It needs to be solved quietly, without a fuss. 

In the dead of night, he whistles a short tune.

If Sentinel wasn’t listening, if he hadn’t trained the mech behind him up, he wouldn’t have been able to sense the additional presence in the room with him. He must have dropped from wherever he hid, Sentinel’s advanced scanners unable to ping him.

“Sir?”

He turns to address his mech. The moon glints off yellow armour, reflecting Sentinel’s face back at him from B’s visor. “I have a pest problem that needs eliminating,” he responds, smooth as ever.

B’s helm tilts. “Of course.”

“Someone’s been breaking into the Archives. I need you to find them and dispose of them, quietly.” Sentinel stresses the last part— sending the people into a panic wouldn’t do. B hasn’t messed that up since his early days of training, though he still emphasises it.

“Of course,” B says, looking past him and out the window, surely to where the looming shadow of the Archives lies. “Shall I begin now?”

“The sooner, the better. This will be no problem for you, I presume?”

“Of course. Newbuild’s play.” B gives him a sharp nod before lowering himself to the ground and jumping back up onto what he assumes to be a ceiling beam. No matter how many times Sentinel watched, he still catches himself in mild awe at how easily B can do that.

(No he hasn’t tried to, shut up.)

Sentinel lets out a pleased hum. One less thing to worry about, then. The job’s as good as done.

i can't quite explain this but i always feel that starscream, especially tfp starscream is 'punished' (idk the right word) for being femme/feminine so i always like to up his femininity and make it like a positive/important character trait in my works for him. and not just tfp scream but all of them

Well before I warn you, this is a spoilers post, I'm warning!!! And my reblogs are going to be about the movie with #tf one spoilers.

Where to start I have to say it had a lot of promise, it lived up to expectations.

-I laughed a lot with the parts of Bumblebee the poor bot, he is hyperactive, but the poor thing has been alone for a long time.

-Elita has excelled, that is, her scenes are pure spectacle and how she is agile or how she tries to stop Airchanid or how to put Shockwave in his place.

- Sentinel has to be said that seeing from other versions they have done quite well. Just staying in power but being Quintessons subordinate and finishing off the Primes to be in power reminded me a lot of Dark of the moon when he wanted to be the God.

- The representation of Cybertron in the depths and on the surface with something organic, I would have liked to see more fauna, but seeing the flora is possible that the atmosphere of Cybertron (also habitable to humans).

- I'm going to the biggest: Orion Pax and D-16.

Of the first I have to say that I love to see Orion more rebellious but without having lost the curiosity and concern for Cybertron that characterizes at least tfp Orion Pax, see his evolution that he wants to make a better world even defending his ideals to death to less than D-16, who despite having obtained his T-cog continues to treat his friends in the same status, saving the life of Jazz, etc and his conversion to Optimus Prime simply sublime.

D-16, he was so pure or so much a fan of Sentinel, a follower of Megatronus. He looked so believing despite his situation but when he learns the truth see how hatred starts to take over him: his first fight, the fight with Starscream almost left him speechless, kneeling to no one, ending Sentinel, friendship ending forever. How to accept that he is Megatron

His evolutions are some of the best I've seen.

Aside from certain points I've noted for stories. If I will create a first contact in conditions knowing all this I will start tomorrow.

Dear Vector Prime, Was Airchanid ever punished considering she was on one of Cybertron's moons? Were any of the surviving aliens given reparations? I feel like imprisonment wouldn't exactly fit her.

Dear Airachnid Asker,

Early into the rebuilding efforts, numerous Mini-Cons made efforts to recolonize Cybertron’s twin moons, their ancestral homeland. A reconstruction team headed by Sledge, Wideload and Yardarm landed to begin the long task of restoring Helpful City to functionality—but only a few cycles after landing, they disappeared. Subsequent search and rescue teams also went missing, and before long Cybertronian authorities quarantined the moon until they could determine what was going on—though this maneuver caused no small amount of friction with a number of hardline Mini-Con separatists who wanted nothing more than to return to their home and put the hated “bulks” of Cybertron behind them.

It didn’t take long for them to figure out what had happened—the starving Airachnid, who had long since exhausted her initial food supply, had seized upon the opportunity for fresh prey and baited each new morsel into a careful trap, growing stronger with each new victim she claimed. Soon, Drift assembled a heavily armed contingent of specialists to deal with the infestation. Pitted against these pest control specialists, Airachnid could hardly put up a fair fight, and the mutant Arachnicon soon found herself impaled upon the business end of Drift’s sword.

As for the second part of your question—unfortunately, the Autobots and Decepticons rarely deigned to notice the many organic species they shared their arm of the galaxy with, and the alien races that Airachnid had wiped out could hardly advocate for themselves. If only there could’ve been some kind of reconciliation effort—unfortunately, in the years that followed, the Cybertronian race evolved and regressed in equal measure, growing increasingly insular, and eschewed the affairs of the wider galactic community in favour of their own evolutionary wars.

Just found out Transformers Prime Flamewar is utterly obessed with TFP Arcee. First Airchanid and know Flamewar, why doe Arcee have to deal with a bunch of insane Decepitcons who are obessed with her ?

Arcee: hey, Primus, can things in my life be calm for like, FIVE MINUTES???

Honestly, the idea of their rivalry seems like something that was created because of the following:

1. Someone (possibly a dude) who was “More girl on girl fights”

2. Honestly, probably just because Flamewar is usually just an Arcee repaint, so that’s enough of a reason, I guess, said Hasbro

Although, it is fun to think that Arcee is just so goddamn competent as a soldier that, compared to everyone else, she has just racked up like 80 different Cons that want her dead above any other Autobot for killing their comrades. And probably most of them met the same end. There’s just a few that are super determined not to die left.

But also, Hasbro, let the poor gal have a nap, a nice vacation with a girlfriend, something pleasant and not life threatening!

So i just saw Beyonce performance in Isha Ambani(daughter of india's richest man,19th in the world) wedding and the crowd is weird af,some of them just silent,some of them really enjoy it..now i wanna try it some of transformers prime characters if they attend an wealthy cybertronian or human friend wedding who invite beyoncè to sing to their wedding and what their reaction would like : The one who silent : Ratchet,Shockwave,Ultra Magnus,Megatron,Soundwave,Dreadwing. The one who just smile : Optimus Prime,Wheeljack,Breakdown,Airchanid,Arcee,Jack,Raf. About the BabyBee au, could you write something about Bee and Sentinel, I mean in your fic they have a weird relationship, I mean “warm colors”, before he was sent to sub level 50 for digging a little to deep.

Sentinel is very easily disinterested in a lot of things. Any kind of paperwork, for one, and dealing with annoying bots.

“That meeting was slag,” he groans, flopping into his berth. 

“Do you need to talk about it, sir?” B pokes his helm around the corner, setting down his cleaning supplies. “The berth has also been freshly laundered.”

“I feel it,” Sentinel says, relaxing. “It’s just more hoops those senators want me to jump through. Primus, if they weren’t integral, I’d have them executed—“

“Maybe steer away from thoughts of violence,” B says. 

“Fine.”

B smiles, tilting his head before going over to the wall and pressing the intercom. “Prepare supper for Sentinel, please. Something nice.”

“You shouldn’t have,” Sentinel grins, rolling over and shaking out his wings. “Tell them to bring up the bismuth high grade, too.”

The bot hums, conveying the rest of the order, whispering about adding some energon nibbles. Sentinel heard him, of course, but the thought was what counted. He’d pretend to be surprised later.

“I have to finish cleaning the washracks, should I draw you a bath?”

Sentinel stretches out lazily. “Please. You know where my nice soaps are.”

The bot trots out of the room and Sentinel sends a comm to Airachnid about bumping off those senators. 

She, of course, ruins the fun by pointing out how that would destabilize the region and throw that sector into chaos. Boo.

> Can we at least fire them?

> I’ll try, Prime.

“Sweet,” he whispers, listening to the water run in the next room over.

> Do I have an assistant position open?

> With all due respect, Prime, I am your assistant.

> Make a new one. You don’t draw me baths.

He cuts the comm.

i’m working i promise

i’ve got…. the first piece of 2Bee in progress, the epilogue for Warm Colours started, a prequel to my TFO universe with Sentinel and Bee interactions, some Sentinel and Airchanid thoughts that are about to burst from my mind…

none of this is helped by the fact i started Cyberverse and immediately want to write off of that… i have so many thoughts about Bumblebee and Megatron and the Decepticon uprising it ain’t even funny

Dear Horrific Hunter,

Even among the Decepticons, Airachnid was a particularly vile ‘bot. Although her cruelty and obsession with causing pain alienated her business-minded compatriots, they tolerated her only because she was, admittedly, an excellent tracker and assassin. Once Cybertron fell, however, she largely went her own way and spent several million years trawling the Orion Arm as a combination bounty hunter and big-game tracker.

After leaving Cybertron, she found employment on the barren world of Probat, where she worked as an enforcer for the unscrupulous Natalus in exchange for their high-grade energon. Once she’d stockpiled enough energon cubes, she promptly decapitated her business partner and skipped the planet a month later after she’d indulged herself by hunting down the remaining Probat. The next few planets she visited all followed the same pattern—unscrupulous alien warlords who entered into a contract with Arachnid did not realize that her “payment with interest” was, more often than not, the livelihood of their race. 

In this way did she dispose of the Clonemasters, whose methods of rapid asexual reproduction briefly vexed her before she hacked into their central databanks and permanently corrupted their genetic records. The Thraal were next to fall; once she deliberately exterminated the A’ovans on their behalf, she turned their primitive nuclear warheads against their own cities and spent a year hunting the survivors amidst the radioactive wreckage. The ruin-hunting Derelictuskans, the industrious Milarians, the peaceful Mikesu… Airachnid cut a swathe of extinction across the galaxy, and indeed I suspect that many neighboring systems who had been spared her idea of “fun” harbored a grudge against the Cybertronian race for many years afterwards.
