Sure sucks that there’s no Song of Healing in TOTK huh? Maybe he’ll find the Ocarina of Time somewhere in the Depths before Purah manages to convince him to let her poke around at his internal organs with a scalpel. Eh, Link can trust her, she’s a doctor!

Purah seems like she’d be such a fun character to expand upon. Their chaotic friendship potential is unparalleled. Both respected pillars of their community but they also are huge nerds with polar opposite hyperfixations.

Maybe I’ll do a little comic with an original storyline about breaking the Hero’s Aspect Mask’s curse. Could be fun!

These games should have been called The Legend of Zelda: Breadth of the Wildlife Photography Opportunities. The Link I play would kill Ganon thrice more for added album space to fill with pictographs of his horse in scenic locations.

So I just noticed this while looking for details of Ekko's outfit in episode 9. This screengrab is from when he saves Jinx, it's the best one I could take where you can see both his ears.

This is during the battle, and it was really hard to catch it because everything is going so fast in this scene, but look at his ear - he has a piercing.

Confirmed in this close-up at the end of the episode.

And if we go back to episode 7, the first thing he does when he looks at his reflection...

He's shocked to see he has piercings.

So this means he got his ears pierced not right after coming back from the alternate universe; he got them pierced AFTER saving Jinx. Do I really need to ask by who?

Y'all, they didn't just craft completely new outfits together and paint all over each other's bodies - which is something they both have a proclivity for btw (look at Ekko's coat when he find out he's the leader of the Firelights in season 1, covered with spray paint; and of course his paintings of the people he lost).

Ekko didn't just cut Jinx's hair; Jinx pierced his ears too, and it would be really hard not to interpret that as a symbol of him getting closer to being AU!Ekko, as an echo (lol) of his relationship with Powder/Jinx.

These kids, man. The obsession is real.

I don’t think we’ve talked enough about the balloon.

He notices the wind pick up. He had been on boats, he knows that winds like that can blow things away. Who does he immediately look for? Pen.

And where is she? Talking to Lord Penguin. He’s like the first person to realize the balloon is getting away, other than the workers of course.

She is in the way of the balloon. It’s direct path. He sees their life together flash before his eyes. He jumps into action.

He needs to save her. Debling, Cressida, and Eloise all run away, not taking Pen with them (Eloise was surprising in that. I think she would have pulled her along.)

While the balloon keeps moving towards her, Pen seems paralyzed with fear and cannot move far away enough. Debling, instead of moving her out of the path, pulls her down and tries to shield her.

Colin is the one who saves her. But after the balloon almost topples her and crushes her, Debling just leaves and goes to Cressida (yeah she was “hurt” but giiiirl)

Yes his sister was also in the way of the balloon, but he was thinking of Pen and only Pen. His Penelope.

He saved her, he was only thinking about saving her.
