Personally I would love to read a rant about why he is the way he is!
I'm not sure if I can still do readmores from mobile. Content warning for... We will say slavery.
Aibell was smuggled out of the caverns by essentially slave traders--basically pieces of shit who collect oddities and sell them to other collectors.
He was basically raised as a prized possession because how cool is it to literally own someone whose life is illegal? Young Aibell was fine with it because it was all he knew; for the most part he was spoiled and shown off, passed along like a piece of art. As he got older he started absorbing pop culture and started to realize that his situation was not actually okay in the slightest. Teenaged Aibell became a festering infection, completely furious with his place in life with no way to express it.
Between his growing attitude and his powers making themselves known, he was considered too difficult for the last troll who owned his title and sold off for the last time. To Aibell's secret boyfriend. I think Aibell kinda plotted to arrange that.
So now Aibell can do whatever the hell he wants because his ""owner"" is a tyrian and nobody is going to undermine him. However because Aibell was repressed as shit for most of his life now he is a holy terror. A lot of that comes out in the way he pushes at his mate, mostly because it is safe. :( He loves to start drama because he never got the chance to, and particularly he loves starting drama with his mate because he knows how stable their relationship is. 💚 Again because of his upbringing he has a lot of shitty casteist beliefs, so just kinda... Bear with him. He's learning.
A little.
He is a piece of shit but also his mate fully supports him. 😂

I want all the love headcanons for my boys Aibell and Emirae 😘
😘
😍: How does your muse act different once they start to like someone?
Aibell honestly gets meaner? He acts like a complete brat and teases them nonstop because he thinks it's cute when people get mad and he wants to see it, plus he wants to see their boundaries.
Emirae.... 🙃 Em mostly just gets mad at himself because it's stupid to have a crush on someone, but after awhile he starts to lighten up. Makes more jokes, gets more comfortable around them.
💞: In which way would they like to ask their significant other out for a date? And how do they do it eventually?
Aibell doesn't want to ask, HE wants to be asked because he wants to be fawned over and he's spoiled. But he WILL ask, in that he'll just be like "Hey, take me to dinner!" or straight up "ASK ME ON A DATE!!"
Emirae has never wanted to take someone on a date so there's no specific way he would like to do it. Frankly he'll just end up taking them somewhere and when the other asks if this IS a date he'll just shrug and say 'sure'. XD
💗: At which point do they realize that they've fallen in love?
I think it was just all the tremendously bratty shit Aibell has done and gotten away with that made him think 'damn, I wanna do this forever' and made him get all flustered and hide his face.
Emirae... Man, it ain't happened yet but I imagine when he starts to feel just... Comfortable with someone. He hasn't had that an awful lot in his life, and when he realizes that he's not constantly mad or on edge, maybe even seeking someone out... 🤷♀️ He's a loner, and wanting to actually be near someone is going to be a major indicator toward 'uh shit I might be in love'.
🌹: What are weird things they start to do once they've developed a crush?
😂 Guess I mentioned above already but Aibell just gets mean and pokes fun. He is awful.
Emi... Emi just stares a lot, when he thinks they're not looking, because he's trying to figure out how and why he got a crush in the first place.
🥀: What would they do when they fell in love with someone out of their reach?
... Lol. Don't be silly. Everyone is within Aibell's reach.
And Emirae... Given his uh, special circumstances, guess he couldn't do much of anything. 👀
🍫: In which ways do they deal with being lovesick?
We have seen Aibell feeling lovesick when his stupid hatesprit isn't around, he sulks and pouts and spends Tilly's money. :/
And I mean what else would Em do... But brood. 😂
🎀: How do they make themselves look attractive for their significant other?
Aibell spends Tilly's money. :3
Frankly every single thing he buys has been curated because Tilly said he liked that cut or colour. He acts like it wasn't but we all know he is a liar.
... Emirae is just effortlessly hot and he doesn't know he's doing it. -_- He also would not care. He looks good for himself thanks.
💍: What do they like about being in love?
Aibell likes the attention above all, but also that he has someone to focus his evil little attentions on as well. 💚
Emirae just like 'well. Guess it's cool to have someone I don't absolutely want to beat within an inch of their life around'.
💔: What do they dislike about being in love?
Aibell can't stand being alone and so he hates most of all that he feels so anxious and sad and ignored when his ~lover~ is not giving him every second of his undivided attention.
And Em just hates the very idea of being vulnerable. 🙃

📔 for AIBELL
Dear die-ary,
Hehehe.
Tonight was yet another boring, tedious dinner party. I got to eat with them because Fortua wanted to show off, so I got to choke down some gross filet mignon and listen to a bunch of tyrians talk about dumb shit like wine.
Course.
There was one there who--just when he thought no one was looking!!--looked just as bored as I felt. It was too cute. I'm sure he never realized I was looking because who really pays attention to me after the whole 'oh wow where did you get that' introduction.
I kind of wanted to bully him a little. ♡
I wonder if he'll come back? I think I wouldn't mind watching him again. Even the fake smile he had to wear at the table was nice. Hmmm. Maybe I can weasel his name out of Fortua's contacts. He barely pays attention to what I do anymore, LOL.
Hehehe. Yeah, I do wanna see this one again. I know what I'll do! I'll get ahold of his name, and stalk Fortua's secretary... and when he doesn't get invited to parties, I'll just send him the invites myself...!!
Hold your applause! Yes, I am a genius! ♡
Hehehe.
It's kind of fun to be invisible.

I'm just gonna throw all our ships at you duh
Oh PLEASE
Jovi/Mojado
pls N O | not shipping it | nah | maybe | I WISH it’d work | yasss | I ship it | wOW PLEASE!
duh. yes part of it is i like seeing Jovi take dick that's bigger than him. Why wouldn't it be.
Aaaanyway yes I'm intensely fucking interested in how this shit develops. Yet also deeply sorry Mojado gets to deal with not only a drunk and depressed Vejove but also Jovi's future rail (they've met ;3) AND the guy who is obsessed with seeing Vejove suffer. This is a fucking trainwreck.
TILLY + AIBELL
pls N O | not shipping it | nah | maybe | I WISH it’d work | yasss | I ship it | wOW PLEASE!
bruh as if my answer could be anything but. I fucking love this dumpster fire. 90% of their interactions have just been the silliest bullshit and it fuels me. I just love the idea of BOTH of them having the other wrapped around their finger but refusing to admit it. Lord.
Raizou/Fivale
pls N O | not shipping it | nah | maybe | I WISH it’d work | yasss | I ship it | wOW PLEASE!
(I mean really please yes, it's pretty much the worst ship? Maybe even worse than Emi/Fivale? ) They fucking deserve each other. Like this is the most unhealthy relationship ever but they're both getting what they want out of it? It's disgusting and yet also stable somehow? Uhhh? Explain pls
EMI/FIVALE!!!
pls N O | not shipping it | nah | maybe | I WISH it’d work | yasss | I ship it | wOW PLEASE!
.... listen I love them, I cannot help myself, can't wait for Raizou to drag Emirae to Fivale and all this bullshit to start all over again. They are awful. And I do mean they because yeah Fivale is gross but Emirae is also such. A fucking asshole.
Emirae × Ryekur
pls N O | not shipping it | nah | maybe | I WISH it’d work | yasss | I ship it | wOW PLEASE!
pls rye ur services are needed. Frankly I can't wait for Fivale to begrudgingly allow Ryekur around his precious pet Emi and for these two blue bitches to torment him endlessly. It's good for Emirae's health ok.
Raizou + Ryekur
pls N O | not shipping it | nah | maybe | I WISH it’d work | yasss | I ship it | wOW PLEASE!
THEY AIN'T EVEN MET YET the idea is just fucking ridiculously funny to me. What if Emirae and Fivale finally bond over their disgust that their moirails are in a black quad? What if it's the most healthy ship in this fucking soap opera of a hive. Just the very IMAGE of those two meeting for the first time and immediately being like "oh... god... I want to bite him" while Emirae stares in horror sends me. Hate at first sight.

>Aibell: Buy a Gift
Is it a gift if you're buying it with money that the recipient gave you?
That's a thinker.
Thinking, however, is not your strong suit. Shopping is! Even though you're a dirty lime, here you are casually browsing the jewelry display cases without a care in the world. Being a piece of property has its perks. Everyone in this district knows who you are, and more importantly who gives you your allowance. They might not be respectful, but they do know not to physically fuck with you.
Yesterday morning you had a fight with your mate--your mate, you repeat to yourself. It's an important distinction. It means you don't have to hold your tongue and defer to his will, it means you're equals even if he holds your life in the form of paperwork. You had a fight, probably over something trivial since you can't remember the cause. This in itself isn't cause for alarm, when the fuck aren't you fighting? The fact that you haven't seen him since is what has been eating at you all evening.
Apologies don't come easy to you, you never know when things are your fault and require apology. Rather than make a gamble, you're going to buy him something pretty! That's a good compromise, isn't it? Sure, the money came from him but it's the thought that counts! You didn't spend it on popsicles and lingerie. That's a gift.
You're thinking of him, of course. You always are. He sometimes aggravates you to no fucking end, but the fact that you're allowed to feel that frustration just makes your black little heart swell.
"I want that." You say suddenly, a gloved finger pressing on the top of the case.
The girl behind the display doesn't even give you a glance. Bitch. You're the only customer in this second-rate shitshow. You clear your throat.
"Excuse me." Honey and venom dripping from your silky voice. You stare her down. "Give me that."
"Oh." She says finally. A snotty little jade. Not even worth a bite, jades taste like shit. "Sorry. Didn't notice you there."
Bitch, bitch, bitch.
You pin up a smile, one that doesn't reach your eyes of course. "Anyway. The tie pin."
She looks at it like a speck of dirt on a pristine table linen. Clearly she noticed the citrine gem that almost perfectly matches your eyes. Eyes that you refuse to hide behind contacts, a little fuck you to everyone in the district.
If T'licum was here she'd probably be more chatty and definitely be more polite. But she's dealing with you now, and it's obviously an unwelcome chore. You've paid in a matter of minutes, the small box clasped carefully in your hands as you practically sprint out the door. No time for pleasantries with this one, even if you did want to talk.
Back home! It's getting late, surely he should have been home by now. If he's coming home. Maybe this is too little too late, and you finally scared him off. The thought is one that almost constantly weighs on your mind, but you still keep pushing him. God, maybe you are stupid.
"T'licummmm!" You chime as you shove the door open.
No answer.
Darkness.
"It's fine. He's just late." You mutter to the voice in your head, shrieking in full panic mode.
YOU FUCKED UP, YOU FUCKED UP, YOU FUCKED UP.
It's like a fucking siren between your ears, and you continue to mumble to yourself that it's fine. It's fine.
Stepping gingerly into the livingblock, you realize there's something on the sofa. Something large, and...
You sigh.
Stupid idiot came home and crashed on the couch. Stupid, fat jerk didn't even text you.
Course, you didn't leave a note and he came back to an empty hive...
Just a couple of dumbasses, you are. Letting your hair down, you gently place the box on the table and invite yourself on the couch on top of him, eyes closing promptly.
"...Aibell?" He says, sleepily.
"Shut up." You reply tenderly. "Go back to sleep, bitch."
