nobody believes date got a girlfriend

pairing: kaname date x fem!reader

summary: none of his co-workers believe kaname date when he tells them he is dating you..

"i'm telling you, she's real!"

date scrolled through pictures on his phone, showing off his s/o other to his co-workers, who just shook their heads in disbelief. 

"are you sure that those aren't just some pictures you got off the internet, date?"

boss raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms in front of her chest, as she stared at the pictures on date's phone. that girl seemed way out of his league, so it was hard to believe date was really dating her.

"not you too, boss…"

date sighed defeated.

"mizuki has said the same thing! she accused me of taking this picture of a girl from the cabaret club… but i promise, she's a completely normal and real girl!"

ryuki wasn't completely convinced by date's story yet, but he wanted to believe him. or at least try to believe him! 

"when are we going to meet her then?"

ryuki asked, taking a sip out of his coffee and leaning back in his chair. date glanced at his phone again, calculating the time in his head until you'd arrive at his workplace. 

"she wanted to pick me up after work for a date" he lets his colleagues know, grinning excitedly. "so she should be here in a couple minutes!"

despite date saying it was going to take just a couple minutes, it ended up taking much longer. after ten minutes you still hadn't arrived, nor had you answered his calls. half an hour later, it started to get embarrassing and the first few people had already given up and were heading home. it took another fifteen minutes on top of that for you to finally show up – by that point nobody was waiting for you anymore. everyone had just assumed that date lied and went home. 

when you parked your car in front of the police station and stepped out, you greeted date with a short kiss. 

"sorry i'm so late, i've gotten into a traffic jam…"

you sighed and took your boyfriend's hand, softly smiling at him. 

"i hope it wasn't too bad waiting for me…"

date just forced a smile on his lips as he recalled the faces of his co-workers as they headed home one by one, all giving up on him that pitiful look…

"n-no, don't worry! waiting wasn't that bad…"

ihate it when games have sequels I mean in theory i like it but it means i can finish The First One and get so insane yet i have to live in a horrible hell and do nothinf but wait until i can play the sequel so i dont have to get scared of spoilers. horrible fucking world

i made these 11 years ago and i kept referencing them whenever i replayed fe:a. these are actually the third iteration of these charts, because i would re-do them every time the papers got too crumpled or had too many notes from the most recent playthrough. this chart isn't for min-maxing brawlic kids either--this was purely for shipping dynamic purposes. i was min-maxing for romantic chemistry. at 18 years old

was so bewitched by this that I asked pita if I could share it, apparently they were so fascinated by the marriage system in fe:a that they made charts for the characters that were romantically viable, blacked out the ones that wouldn’t get affection points, and organized them somehow to keep track of what match-ups they considered narratively viable (vs which relationship dynamics didn’t really work) also this was years and years ago when they were 17

I've been rewatching your AI:NI playthrough and I feel compelled to thank you for, "This too is proof of simulation theory." and its many derivatives, which have been in my lexicon since the playthrough first aired.

kizuna realizing her feelings for you

pairing: kizuna chieda x gn!reader

a/n: i was already a big kizuna fan, but i've been getting more interested in her VA lately, so i just had to post something for her :)

kizuna had been in love with you for quite a while, before it really became obvious to herself

she'd always pay extra attention to you, always smiled more when you were around and she just loved talking to you

and yet, she didn't quite realize just how much she liked you, until tonight

iris and amame had mentioned those types of dreams before where you start to see a person differently for a day or two after you wake up from it

but only now did kizuna really understand what they meant by that

in her dream, she was resting her head on your lap as you softly sung to her, while playing with her hair

she felt so comfortable with you, only to then wake up and realize it had all just been a dream

and when she saw you later that day, you started to look different to her

like there was suddenly this glow around you, like the sunlight just kept shining onto your face

but the day afterwards, it was still there. and even two or three days afterwards, that glow didn't disappear

and neither did the memories of that dream kizuna had

it was only then that she realized that that glow would never disappear again, that she'd always see you differently from now on

but she didn't mind that at all…

Bibi/Mizuki looked at as a pairing actually works really well as a capstone to Mizuki's character arc in AI:NI, but it's sort of a darkly bittersweet capstone to it so people probably won't like it much.
