By the end of the decade (2030), 14% of workers will have been forced by AI to change career (Note: That wasn't change employer but rather, career. Find an entirely new field to work in.)
60% of the jobs in advanced economies are at risk of being replaced by AI (Most people think about AI replacing low wage jobs. The reality is that many mid to high paying jobs are at greater risk.)
But just 26% of jobs in low-income countries are similarly exposed
80% of the US workforce could have at least 10% of their tasks impacted by large language models
More than 7.5 million data entry jobs will be lost by 2027
47% of US workers are at risk of losing their jobs to automation over the coming decade (~2034)
It will take at least 20 years to automate just half of current worldwide work tasks (I am skeptical of this. But I also assume it means complete automation. Keep in mind, even 50% automation can mean 50% job cuts)

27% of workers with a bachelor’s degree or higher are employed in jobs most exposed to AI (again, showing how AI is currently set to transform white collar jobs more than blue collar.)

I think there's some hype in these stats (already a few months old) but also some aspects of underestimation (which I suspect stem from a more linear view of tech progress, compared to a more exponential view that myself and many tech enthusiasts endorse).

Need advice on how to be employable (I guess?)
I'm not from the US or other Western countries. I'm turning 22 this year. I should've been in my last year of uni now, but I've had to take a break because of my family's financial situation (that has gotten a lot worse due to circumstances outside of our control). I'm currently searching for a job right now, have been for the last 6 months actually, but it feels like dead ends everywhere I go:
I majored in English, and all of my previous jobs are content-related or something close. Unfortunately, the market for that is completely oversaturated where I live now, even worsened by AI, and I am but an amateur compared to the majority of the field's workforce.
I tried to apply for retail/customer service jobs as well, as I understand it's better to have some sort of safety net than none, but my social skills are simply abysmal. Have been since I was a kid, never improved much despite all my efforts throughout life, and my relatives and people who know me think I'm sort of mentally challenged because of it. I didn't even make it through the interview rounds at those places, and they claimed to hire *anyone*.
Labor/blue collar jobs are not an option for me, because of my existing respiratory health problems (not something I can cure), though from my limited experience with it, is something I would enjoy.
Right now, I'm trying to learn some web designing online and looking into other skill sets that I can earn online (and free) as well, but it's hard to focus when there's a ton of debt hanging over your head. I just feel immensely guilty if I ever do something that's not applying for jobs or getting a job at all. I'm afraid that I'm too deep in my own head to think clearly now, and I guess I just need some outside perspectives to help me focus back. Can someone give me some advice on what I should do to move forward?

Prologue
Humanity wondered when the machines would take over, and as technology continued to advance, machine outgrew organic. Physical labour jobs were outsourced to machines. Customer service roles replaced with artificial intelligence. It was slow at first, only certain areas became automated. But as each industry saw profits skyrocket from eliminating their human workforce, others followed suite. Humanity tried their best to stop it. They rallied together, they protested, they even took to violence. Nothing worked. CEO's cared about profit and only profit.
All blue collar jobs were taken over by machine. The now jobless people struggled to make ends meet. They had no legal way to gain an income. A lot of people fell to a life of crime. Humanitys population dwindled, our people who were reliant on the modern accomodations of capitalism could no longer participate. Their lack of survival skills is what killed them. In 2115, the class divide is prevalent. The poor have little to no access to money, but their small population survive by living in communes. They grow their own food, or gather what edible resources they can and make clothing and furniture out of garbage. Their only access to humanity is free health care, a rare hand out from the government.
This is contrary to what the upper class believe of the poor. The upper class are told time and time again that the poor are diseased and dangerous. They live a life of crime, dealing drugs, stealing and killing. The lower class is to be avoided at all costs.
The upper class have massive generational wealth, and most of them only work as a hobby. They live in tall buildings, away from the pollution and trash on the ground. Their buildings are covered in solar panels and plants, their travel is covered by AI driven flying vehicles. Even though the upper class seem to have life sorted, it's a slippery slope for some. There's a thin line between living a life of luxury, and having to crawl your way to the top. If you don't have access to wealth, it's next to impossible to build it up for yourself.

I’ve spent the last few years diving deep into the world of work, exploring topics such as the origins of labor, brain learning processes, job training inefficacies, technology for employee engagement, and fair workforce practices. Service Provider: Almost every service provider can offer services on the Work X platform (ranging from white- to blue- collar positions and full- to part-time or freelance contracts). To counteract activity in violation with the code of conduct, which are guidelines for allowed job positions on the platform, a curation mechanism will be used
Employer: There are many types of employers in the world, ranging from large Fortune 500 companies to smaller start-ups, scale-ups and SME’s. Work X is a place where any employer can list vacancies and recruit candidates. Enterprises, consultancy firms and recruitment firms can also benefit from using the Work X platform.
Assessment Provider: Myriad innovative assessments can measure a wide range of indicators. This is both an opportunity for employers but also a challenge. If a (large) organisation decides to integrate an assessment into their application suite, it can take, on average, a full year to combine the data. When a new assessment hits the market, the cost of switching makes it impossible for employers to integrate it. Because several of these tools are already very powerful, WorkPi has no plans to develop competitive substitutes. Tokenomics
The $WORK token is intended to provide digital access to the platform by means of a blockchain-based infrastructure. In this paragraph we will shortly summarize the different use-cases to answer the question how the token has utility. In the near future we will present additional token use-cases so stay tuned!
Token Utility 1: Get Access to Platform Services To access services on the Work X Platform such as posting jobs, skill assessments, development courses, the AI-Assistant, and many other services on the platform, users need to possess the $WORK token. Other examples of costs we need to add to our transaction fee requirements are for example AI tokens, running servers, development grants, etc.
Token Utility 2: Collateral for Job Listings To make sure that all job listings comply with the code of conduct of the platform, tokens have to be deposited.
Token Utility 3: $WORK Platform Support Rewards Users of the platform who hold $WORK tokens and add to the liquidity will be rewarded with $WORK tokens within an NFT for their support of the platform and community. As they are contributing more to the maintenance and continuation of the platform, they are important for the future of the platform and deserve to be rewarded.
Token Utility 4: Platform NFT’s When users get achievements on the Work X platform they will be rewarded with an NFT that holds an amount of $WORK tokens. By holding and adding to the liquidity of the $WORK token, they will be rewarded with an appealing APR on top of their tokens.

Token Distribution and Fund Allocation
At the the Token Generation Event (TGE), the generated tokens and funds will be allocated proportionally to different use-cases and operations. In the ”Vesting” column of Table 1 you can see the vesting period of each of these token allocations in months. Not only tokens bought by early buyers will have a vesting period, in fact the buyers have some of the lowest vesting periods while most of the Work X allocations vest over longer time frames. For example the intended DAO will gradually unlock it’s funds over 5 years without any tokens being unlocked at TGE.
