The second scenario is them trying to decipher Questionette's spoken language. They stand far from her, bouquet forgotten on the ground as they concentrate intensly with the held Quiktranslate, squinting their eyes and planting their legs a firm distance apart. Questionette only worriedly gazes back with a question mark sign on her cheek.

The last scenario is Flower Kid trying to open a pickle jar for Randy. Randy stands hunched and despondent, clasping his hands together to plead in front of the irritated kid who can't open it despite fiddling and wobbling the jar placed high up in their hands. They accidentally drop it onto his head, startled, while it hits Randy with a bonk causing him to recoil and cringe with a single tear.

The last picture is labeled ' Later ' and shows Ronbo looking on from in-between the walls in blatant disapproval as a crying and sweating wide-eyed Flower Kid repeatedly cracks the jar on Randy's offscreen head. He yells joyously, "YES YES YES" end ID]

thea as always you are so right about the new dw trailer. part of the appeal of getting into doctor who in the year 2023 for me was the shitty graphics and bad cgi! the show was carried by good writing and acting and that's all that matters....so strange to see the crisp clean quality of the newer stuff ahjsjs

I understand why they can’t do shitty graphics and bad cgi in 2023 like they’re professionals they can’t just force it to be bad but I thought they’d have the wisdom courage and serenity to realize that it’s at its best when it’s driven by story and not sweeping big budget scenes. Honestly do think they might get that and go back to that for most of the new season but unfortunately this is both an anniversary special and effectively the show’s launch as an American product so if always had to have a little marvel flavor

Only lately? 😭 Back in 2022 I already struggled finding dark fic, I remember combing the ao3 tags to death ajsjsjs (but to be fair, I was mainly looking for reader-inserts, that might've been it.) Do you have any recs? 🥹🫶

In general, I wanted to write two little follow-ups to through the briar - one immediately after the plot of the fic happens and one where reader runs from Micah some years later. These two scenarios really tickle me, I just need to find my muse for them again (= replay rdr2 lol)

Also, back when I started through the briar, I also had the idea for a a/b/o noncon fic with Micah, and wrote a decent amount for it. I got some very insightful comments on ttb, though - especially regarding my characterization of Micah and I have wavered on the concept ever since. Mainly because it's just straight up hard noncon, with little build-up. I honestly don't know if I'll ever finish it BUT I have felt that way with multiple fics that are now up on my ao3 ahjsjs

So yeah, anything dark for rdr2 would probably be with Micah because I can't, for the life of me, write Arthur from a dark angle (he is so husband-shaped 🥹)
