satoru didnt even ask you to be his boyfriend, honestly. the two of you just started holding hands, calling e/o cute names, hanging out at some point.

when suguru asked him about your guys' relationship status gojo's first thought was "well, we've been going out on lots of dates, so i guess i'm their boyfriend!"

he constantly texts you asking "how was class? did you get home safe? today's mission was tough, get some rest. i love you." even if he's right next to you he'll still message you and talk to you.

he's a tease. everyone knows this. sometimes he'll bring up how the first time you went over to his house, you walked in on his naked and just stared at him for a few seconds.

"hey do you want chinese or mexican fo-" your eyes widen at the sight of satoru's bare chest. he turns around at the sound of your voice and his eyes slightly widen. suddenly the white towel wrapped around his hips falls to the ground. your eyes bulge out of your head, staring at the name in front of you.

"you like the view?" he winked putting his hand on his hip as his towel was laying by his ankles. his voice brought you out of your trance.

"OH MY GOD, IM SO SORRY!" you quickly turned on your heal and slammed his door shut. he could hear your groaning in embarrassment from outside the door. satoru doesn't really mind honestly, he thinks it's funny, but he'll never stop teasing you about it.

he really really really likes you. he's the type of guy who will always bring you up in a conversation. geto and shoko are annoyed by it, but they're both glad he's found someone who makes him this happy.

common pet names with him are: princess, doll, baby, honey, and sugar bear (he says this to piss you off)

his favorite thing to do is just be in your presence. he likes to watch you study, cook, draw, talk with others, everything. anything he can do with you or see you do is his favorite activity.

he likes showing off his strength, so sometimes he'll pick you up and just hold you.

you were cutting the veggies for tonight's stir fry as you heard the front door open. "satoru? baby, is that you?" you turn your head around and are welcomed by his pretty face.

"hi princess. how was your day?" he drops his stuff off by the door, shedding his coat and strides over to you. because of his height, he only takes a few steps before getting to you. you set the knife down on the board.

"it was okay, pretty boring. nanami dropped by to give you your- woah!" his arms wrap around you waist and he picks you up. instinctively, you wrap your legs around his waist, and hold onto his shoulders.

"what's all this for?" you ask, nuzzling into his neck.

"mm nothing, just missed you, pretty thing,"

im sorry he's such a loser. i think geto's more of a loser bf, than gojo honestly.

he's a big softie when it comes to you.

he's the type to ask "would you love me if i was a worm?"

you guys were close friends for the longest time. he would see you and shoko together talking, and satoru would casually walk up to you and say hello, with geto following in suit.

he's quite the eye candy and had lots of girls after him for a while, but he's only had eyes for you.

with encouragement (blackmail) from satoru, geto was forced to use a pickup line on you. he stole gojo's apple and walked over to you in the cafeteria line.

you see geto walking up towards you, so you raise your hand up to wave at him. a soft smile appears on your face and geto's heart melts. he's down bad for you. he feels his heart racing and his palms grow sweaty. before you can say hello, geto places the apple in your palm and says with a small voice,

"you're the apple of my eye," and he runs off. shoko and satoru are laughing hysterically as they watch their friend dash off, his cheeks and ears stained pink.

you're left standing there in confusion.

i think the way yall start dating is one day is pouring after school. kids are running onto the buses, jumping in their parents' cars, opening umbrellas, but you realize you dont have an umbrella.

"shit," you mutter. you scrounge through your bag, hoping, praying that an umbrella will spawn in your bag, but alas, the world does not work like that.

"everything okay?" geto asked, peaking over your shoulder. you turn around to see him holding an umbrella in his hands. the two of you are next door neighbors, it wouldn't hurt to ask, right?

"no, i didn't bring an umbrella. can we walk home together?" you ask him sweetly. he can't refuse you and your pretty eyes. geto thinks he's never seen someone so cute. he gives you a smile, one only reserved for you, and holds his arm out. you wrap your arms and his and smile brightly,

"thank you so much! i love you!" he giggle, pushing yourself against his bigger build. geto looks down at you and chuckles.

"i love you too," he leans down and places a kiss on your forehead. "so much," he mutters. he opens his umbrella and starts walking. your heart is racing. did he just kiss you...and say he loves you?! he looks back behind him, giving you a soft smile. you look into his eyes and you felt like your heart was glowing. suguru geto is the owner of your heart, he you are the owner to his.

hes a movie connoisseur and a home body, so lots of your dates include watching flims, tv shows, plays, etc

a little personal headcanon of mine, but i think suguru loves flowers. he absolutely adores them, so please give him flowers, or put them in his hair. he’ll give you the cutest smile ever.

common pet names with him would be: my love, star, darling, and baby

i also hc that hes a great cook ??? he’ll cook you anything. he’s not the best baker though, but he tries! and that’s all that matters

at the end of the day, suguru loves you more than anyone and he would go to hell and back if that meant he could see you smile.

oh nanami...sweet sweet nanami

he’s the sweetest boyfriend ever. constantly has his arm around you, compliments you, drives you to work, packs your lunch, you name it, he does it

he’s the kindest man out there and he does anything you ask of him. all he wants in return is your love and loyalty.

he gives you the ultimate princess treatment. you want lemon in your water, you got it. you don’t wanna drive to the store? he can do it. you don’t wanna push the cart? nanami will push it. you’re too lazy to do you assignments? nanami will help, but he’ll explain it to you as well.

he’s so whipped for you too like. one time satoru caught him smiling at his phone and he was shocked.

“nanami!!! how are yo-” satoru abruptly stops in his tracks. he sees the soft smile painted on nanami’s face. he’s never seen this expression on nanami’s face before. sure nanami’s smiled in front of satoru before, but never like this. satoru feels his heart warm. he’s glad nanami has someone who makes him happy. will he use this to his advantage though? yes. oh yes he will.

“nanami!” satoru exclaims and wraps his arms around the blonde. he leans forward slightly, making eye contact with nanami. “sooo...who’s the lucky one?” satoru wiggles his eyebrows, smiling at nanami. nanami scoffs and tucks his phone back into his pocket.

“my partner...” nanami mutters. satoru’s eyes widen. he didn’t expect nanami to actually answer him. satoru’s smile grows even ore warmer. the fact nanami is outwardly expressing his love for you, even going as far to allow satoru to know, you must be really important to him.

“well im sure whoever it is, they’re lucky,” satoru pats nanami’s back and keeps walking. what he doesn’t hear tho is nanami saying,

“no it’s me, im the lucky one.” with his hand toying with the keychain in his pocket. it’s a tag with your name and anniversary date on it. nanami’s kept it on him since college and he intends to never take it off.

he does tremendous research on any interest you have so he can understand what you’re talking about. you’re one of the people he wants to engage in conversation with, so he’ll do anything to make sure you always feel heard.

he’s a gossip bf. he’ll always want to know the drama going on in your life and if he overhears any too, you’ll be the first to know, no doubt.

when he comes home after missions, he takes off his tie, jacket and harness and just lays on your thighs. sometimes he’ll ask if you can massage his shoulders or legs.

much like geto, nanami is a great cook. he’s well versed in breakfast as that’s usually the only meal he makes himself. often times he’s too tired to eat dinner, or he’s grabbed some takeaway. however, the moment you entered his life, he’s learning every cultural dish of yours, your favorite sweets, snacks, drinks, etc.

i think he’s a sucker for sweets, so he’s better at baking than cooking, but he’s still a star chef.

common pet names with him would be: love, honey, sweetheart, my [name], pretty

dates with nanami also tend to be pretty domestic. grocery and home decor seem to be your guys’ favorites.

“nanami, do we have any more detergent at home?” you ask him, browsing through all the different kinds of soaps.

“i think so, but we should stock up.” he replies, grabbing the bulky white bottle. you stop him abruptly by grabbing his wrist. his eyes dart from the bottle to your face, trying to see if anything is wrong. when he cannot figure it out, he raises his eyebrow.

“i don’t like that one. i want the pink one,” you point to the bright pink bottle behind you. nanami sighs, smiling internally and places the white bottle back. you hand him the pink detergent, smiling.

“oh yeah, can we get more snacks? i want more chips!”

“we have six bags at home.”

“so? i want more. ill kiss you if you buy me it.” you wink at him as a pink hues seem to conquer his cheeks. he clears his throat,

“fine. but only two more.”

“that’s two kisses for you then,” you cup his cheek in your hand, kissing him once on the nose, then peck him on the lips. nanami’s left awkwardly looking at the laundry supplies as you skip over to the food ailes looking for more chips to bring home.

nanami believes that nothing could even be considered okay without you. his whole life took a turn when he met you. he started to take care of himself more, he cared about coming home at reasonable times, he had a reason now. and that reason was you.

no matter what happens in the future to the both of you, nanami knows for sure, he’ll never regret you being his first love.

chiles season 1-3 (their development) ‼️

such a crappy picture i did my babies wrong.. nyways..

woah season 1 chiles was the GOAT. look at them bro 🤧 they carried and they were so funny every episode like wtf. their chemistry was EVERYTHINGGG. they have to be the best duo in season 1. like the way they were friends in a click and they just get each other. i see chapa’s trust in chiles ALOT like it just shows me her development in showing affection towards characters (aka miles) BEFORE YALL SAY ANYTHINGGG ABOUT BAPAS DEVELOPMENT THIS IS FOR CHILES.. READ THE TITLE IT SAYS CHILES DEVELOPMENT… NOT BAPA. let me just keep going, pretty much had moments in season 1 but not much to talk about their development, but lets move on to season 2

much better picture!!

okay so season 2 is something i wanna talk about for a while now, this season confirms that they literally like each other.. i mean look at them.. but let me show examples. in episode “power problems part 2” chapas little speech was the cutest thing EVER. we all know chapa isn’t the type of person to comfort someone but oh she will help miles. literally idk how else to explain this but their trust this season went UPPPP. at the start of season 1, we all know chapa isn’t that much of a sensitive girl (basically im repeating what i just said..) she CARES for miles period. cuties fr and i feel like after this episode, they got more development into their relationship . MOVING ONTO SEASON 3 (my favorite season of them idc)

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

you guys cannot lie and say that they were not cute this season. they basically confirmed that they were together! every single episode they just had that bond and it was AMAZING. especially the finale i feel like they were adorable and carried. dont get me started on bose’s birthday party??? the way chapa fangirled over awol is just clearin the facts yall.. and in 2 part episode in the beginning of season 3, i just loved them. (half of me is screaming thinking about chiles season 3) this season was really special aswell since they came back after a while of not fighting crime so it was nice to see them reunite and have them back better as ever. they shouldve gotten a episode on their own like bomika in unmasked or something.

Bad Lawyer & Crazy Dog, an unconventional love story

JUST FINISHED THE LAST EPISODE OF LAWS OF ATTRACTION!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Okay this is your HUGE spoiler warning because I have so many thoughts and my love for this show knows no bounds but I don't wanna take away from the magic of living it through on your own so go watch it!!!

I was so tempted to take away points for that SILLY GUITAR AND THE SINGING 😭🤣 but it's fine they can't help that they're in love dhhxhdj

So, currently writing this at midnight just after 2/9/2023 which was Tinn and Charn's wedding day!!!!!!! These two goofs have come so far and yeah, couldn't be happier for them 🫶

I took a pause in the middle of the episode to collate my thoughts and here was the list I made about the first half:

1. the mma boxing unconventional fight between tinn and nawin, it was giving 'youtube boxing: worst bits!' but it made me laugh so its fine 😭

2. thee having no one truly there for him except tan - his fellow bodyguards didn't even back him, meaning ever since he started working for tan's family he truly has known no one who cares and loves him deeply which 🥹😭 how did he manage to stay so kind through all that

3. thattep that psychopath.

4. nawin being the best character ever

5. how similar nawin and charn are (one just has a few dozen more braincells than the other

6. how charn planned that entire plot knowing the risks not only to his physical self but knowing he could be risking his entire career but he's ready to do that as we saw when thattep called him to prison 🤧👏

7. the one guy that said you dropped the soap in the prison showers 🥲

8. tan using his annoyingness to his advantage and celebrating being banned from an airline - the most tan thing to do tbh

9. thee and tinn link up AGAIN!!!

10. the wedding talk made me emosh.. the entire proposal (lets ignore the singing but even that wouldnt wipe the huge grin off my face as i was watching it) i love the storyline of the song though (hats off to that tumblr user who explained the story behind the song, this was perfect

11. emotional during the seeking of blessings from charn's mum

12. grandma is a gem 💯

13. maya and rose doing so much to help the people they love - they truly are the MVPs

14. tongkhao's dream living on 🥹 all she wanted on Tinn's birthday was for him to be happy and start a family with someone he loves, and he did it 🥹😭🤧

Also, completely ignore the fact that I skimmed over the whole exposing scene because it was decent but I knew, I just knew Charn wasn't gonna die today and a bullet wouldn't be the thing that ended him so IM GLAD I WAS RIGHT 😭

The wedding! OH THE WEDDING 🥹👏 It was beautiful, just everyone who loves them there and present in form or in spirit - seeing the dolls and knowing Tonkhao was there just 🥹 maybe I'm just an emotional wreck but this episode really got me in my feels

I did laugh my butt off when they were taking wedding photos because why so stiff 😭🤣 It served prom in a nice way WHICH IS FINE it was just looking a bit awkward and hence it was funny 🤭

Also I could write entire essays about Tan's storyline but the fact that he never held any resentment for his dad even after all of THAT is just astounding, and it highlighted how even though Thee and Tan are very different, down to their core values, they're the same which is why they're perfect for each other

Speaking of perfect for each other, seeing Rose and Maya get engaged!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH I WAS SO HAPPY FOR THEMM

When Tinn said 'one day' concerning the conversation about the legality of same sex marriage in Thailand, I got in my feels again as you can probably gather is a common theme here, and I realised how much good shows like this promote.. and yeah I won't waffle on too much about that but it was really powerful 🥹

All in all, if we learnt anything from Laws of Attraction, I'd comfortably say it would be... how to say doll in Thai 🤣 (WHAT? It sounds so amazing! tuktā (pronounced too-ka-ta), it's a much better word!)

No, but seriously, what a show, I'd definitely recommend watching it and I hope, whoever is still reading my midnight rambles, enjoys it as much as I did 🫰

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-

Okay, first: you were so incredible as Horatio. Every acting decision was so spot-on and I particularly loved the subtlety you brought to the character - your horror at the revelation of R&G’s deaths, your quiet role as a member of audience observing the scenes as much as an actor yourself, etc etc. It was subtle but super effective in telling a much more complex and layered version of Hamlet than I normally see performed live. I am trying very hard not to embarrass myself by fangirling too much about it.

Second: yes, please do, because she definitely deserves all the praise for her performance. But also please know that that will almost certainly kill me in a “mortifying ordeal of being known” kind of way. 😂

(My friends are still teasing me about seeing it multiple times and now they’ll never let me live this down…I’ve just run a Hamlet blog for over a decade and studied it while a fellow at Folger Shakespeare Library, so it’s a play that’s very close to my heart. And when you see something you love performed so well, it’s hard not to make a million posts about it 😅)

Chapter 7 of S.O.S, "Taking the Wheel" - OUCH THIS CHAPTER I SWEAR!!! The repetition/cyclical stuff, the painful foreshadowing, the pain and torment actually happening oh my goodness.

I haven't read Sirens of the Sea and Sky yet, I keep forgetting that I have to read the rest of the fics from the Who Dun It event, but I'm excited to read them!

6- Something I remember vividly from reading one of your fics

Little SQ and baby Kate's interactions. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. SQ drew him and Curtain and baby Kate and Milligan and Kate tried to crumple it because she was a baby who did not understand yet, all of their interactions were so so cute. (my apologies if I am misremembering any details 😅)

7- What made me the most emotional after reading

You know what you did. (Everything that happens to the S.O.S. characters how dare you. /lh)

9- A fic i'm excited for you updating/posting

Okay this is kind of cheating because I think you've finished the fic? But I am so behind on S.O.S. so it's more I've been watching you cause emotional torment, especially with the last chapter, so I'm excited to read it.

2- I loved writing those early chapters. The scenes I added later are cool too, but those early scenes, especially the imagining of how everything fell apart between Milligan and Curtain and Garrison...it was wonderful to write, and I'm glad you had as much fun reading it as I had writing it.

5- Ah yes. Sirens. You'll have to let me know what you think of that one :)

6- BABY SQ MY BELOVED. 💕 I will never forgive the show for being like "oh yeah Curtain adopted SQ when he was a baby. No, we're not gonna show cute flashbacks of him as a baby, what would we do that for?" Well, if you want something done, sometimes you gotta do it yourself, and I'm glad I was able to help fill the void.

7- I do know what I did, Moth. I know exactly what I did, and you know what? I don't regret a word.

9- I have (basically) finished SOS. I'm adding an author's note and possibly one more thing, but in terms of the fic itself, it's pretty much over. Does that mean the series/story is over? We'll see. But I will say this: if the series/story is NOT over, it will take a very long time to write, which will give you plenty of time to read all of SOS, or specific scenes if you just want to find those (I plan on making a guide). I'm glad the emotional torment intrigues you, and I'm always happy to hear what you think of it. :)

Reviews while I watch Buddy Daddies: Episode 9

I really need motivation to watch anime again. Especially with the spring season coming with some bangers.

Are they training Miri for something? Yeup.

Why was my sound so high?

Rei got so serious about running so quick. It’s great.

I’m glad they don’t have to hide from the bartender anymore. It’s really sweet.

Things are 100% going to go to shit though. Everyone’s faces are looking sad.

I really hope this show gets a second season. There’s still a bunch they can work with, but I’d understand if it only ends up being this one season.

Why is Rei breaking into the Daycare? Is he trying to cheat for his child? Nope. They’re trying to get good seats, and Kazuki is in on this mission.

Rei offers help and Kazuki thinks he’s sick. XD

There’s been so much progression. I love these two!

XD I can’t believe he straight up set up a war zone.

The slight fear that they see him as a cool hitman.

Are parents really this crazy with photos?

These games are so weird but feel fit for such young kids. Also I’ve never understood tug of war as a game. Haven’t really ever found any joy in it. Actually except for one time but that was a special version of the game where instead of two teams, there were four and the rope was tied in a circle. You stood on the inside of the circle and had to get to a certain point. Each team’s point was in a different direction. So there is just so much chaos as one team gains vantage before another one pulls from the side and throws everyone off, just for that team to be thrown off by another. It’s a really fun version of the game if anyone wants to try it. Let me know if you want better/more details.

Anyways, carrying on.

Been busy with real life since 6.01, but let me tell all of you, S6 might be my favorite season. The married!Tony x Angela vibes are immaculate. It feels like every episode some rando who just met them is like, “So Tony/Angela is your husband/wife, right?” Aaaanyway, finally getting back on the horse with liveblogging 6.13, Sam Accelerates. Obligatory @fatimagic tag as always 😉

1. I feel like Sam suddenly being a super student is sudden and makes me wonder if I missed something (like pretty sure she got a D on a chem test last season??) but fiiiiiiiiiiiiine WTB, I’ll let you have it. Better than when her entire life was about boys. Also, I miss her old hair before she died it black.

2. Wait, you can skip an entire year of high school because your GPA and PSAT scores are high enough?? That was definitely not a thing when I was in high school (not as long ago as Sam, but longer ago than many/most of my followers, I’m sure :P) Hope she doesn’t end up leaving early like this ep is setting up! I love my little BowerMicelli fam.

3. Bonnie: It’ll be so weird for him when you go, I mean, he’ll be so lonely.

Sam: Maybe at first. But he’ll be okay. He’ll always have Angela. They’ll always be together.

Bonnie: How do you know that? It’s not like they’re married.

Sam: Doesn’t matter. They’re like two peas in a pod.

4. Dwayne get away from Angela, you weirdo!!! WTF THAT IS SEXUAL ASSAULT IN MY BOOK. He just grabbed her and kissed her when she clearly was trying to get rid of him. And Sam and Bonnie saw! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

They don’t date other people they don’t kiss other people they live their lives as a unit. This show is so insane you guys; I wish it was easier to watch because tumblr would be all over it. The way this show takes what can be a very black-and-white format—the sitcom—and sits in the gray spaces for so much of its run, is pretty special. It feels so modern. And the fact that they constantly talk about it – in certain seasons more than others – but they constantly come back to examining the unusual quality of their relationship and how they’re navigating it in a way that is very much main text.

9. Love how they’re on the exact same page about the marriage stuff and that Tony’s answer to Sam’s question would have been the same as Angela’s. Also, Tony finding out Dwayne kissed Angela and knowing it’s not a big deal except for how it affected Sam, but still teasing her “you, mind where you put them lips” and her just laughing was actually so cute and lived-in. At this stage in the run, they don’t use miscommunication to drive plot for the two of them. They know each other too well.

OKAY SO DURING 9-1-1 I SAW A COMMERCIAL FOR 9-1-1 LONE STAR P L U S THERE WAS THE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT PROMO AFTER THE 9-1-1 PROMO AND AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

So, a few thoughts from what I happened to catch with two watches of the first one and one of the second one after the 9-1-1 promo, lol

Owen being restless, I guess? Needing to fight dragons lol, I only saw the shots before that when I re-watched it and that emphasized the restlessness or whatever lol

i’m having a bunch of jason robin feels and now i’m imagining him, dick and babs vibing before the joker ruins everything. i’m devastated thinking about it because it would be so cute. also those three during that era are basically team rocket and now i’m imagining them dressing up as team rocket for, like, halloween or something and babs and dick force jason to be meowth. in the future they force 6’2 jason who towers over them back into the meowth onesie and thrive once again as team rocket. they are unstoppable no matter what a very grumpy jason says. alfred brings out the old photos to show the rest of the fan baby jason dressed as meowth and jason is dying inside but he cant leave because he’ll make alfred sad (and he doesn’t wanna leave but shhhh).

oh my godddddddddddddddddddd. yes yes yes yes yes yes YES.

i love this idea so goddamn much.

because yea, in the beginning it’s a little awkward, because dick can’t look at jason without seeing anything other than the last vestiges of the graysons being forgotten, and jason can’t look at dick as anything other than an idol who left shoes jason’s trying so hard to fill but isn’t sure he’ll ever make it, and babs and dick have this on-again, off-again thing that makes babs want to scream because she knows jason doesn’t see her as anything other than “dick’s sorta girlfriend” and she hates it.

but eventually, dick looks past robin and starts seeing jason, starts seeing scabbed knees and papercuts from books and an angry little scowl that dick swears up and down is adorable. and jason works with dick and babs, learns that he doesn’t have to be dick’s replacement, because he’s his own person and he can make his own robin. and babs comes into herself, makes sure everyone knows that she’s a part of the family because of herself, not because of dick, and the jason starts looking up to her too and it’s one of the best things she’s ever felt.

it takes a while, and there are some things said between them that they can’t ever take back. with every hand dick extends towards jason, he can’t help but remember a face that’s so young, so old, so lost screaming “you’re not my brother!” and how hearing those words sent a shard of ice straight through his heart. every time babs gives dick a grin, ruffles his hair, or tugs him into a hug, she can’t help but think of his heartbroken look as her fury overtook her, cursing the name catalina flores, only finding out months later that everything she did had been something dick didn’t want, and babs wasn’t there to help him pick himself back up. and dick will flinch a little, every time jason aims his guns too wildly; babs keeps a wary eye on him when they’re together, even as she offers him a smile, and jason would tell himself over and over again that it was sick satisfaction he felt, not horror at the fact that his family was scared of him.

but in a fight, him and dick move together fluidly, back to back and watching each others weaknesses like they’re really brothers, and jason’s starting to think that they are. and mending things with babs takes time, but they’re sitting on the couch together eating takeout, her legs in his lap and her eyes sparkling, and dick thinks they might have fixed what was broken between them a while back and just never noticed. babs and jason will have teasing arguments over comms in only 18th century moral philosophy quotes that only the two of them and maybe bruce have the patience to understand. and maybe, just maybe, they’ve been family again for a long while. all it takes now is for one of them to admit it.

,,,,,,,,,i am really sorry you just wanted to talk about baby jason dressed as meowth and i came here with the feels and that was not at all what this was supposed to be about. but you gave me such a good IDEA and i just AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Note: I will try my best to do a live commentary/first reaction kind of thing so this post will be updated as the day goes by. I really hope they have fixed the streaming problems they had last time with the Spring Shark Festival. It worked fine once they got it working but it took quite a while to get there. They don’t have that luxury today since there is an on-site audience, it’s pretty much impossible to delay the performance should any streaming issues arise. On a side note, I am keeping my expectations low as far as the audio-quality is concerned but we will see, maybe it’s good. Without further ado, let’s get to it!

Live Commentary

Okay, it’s about to start, there are some weird noises in my headphones but it’s manageable. Otherwise, it works totally fine! I think they fixed the weird noise issue for the evening performance. Haven’t heard it yet. Video/stream-quality is perfect for me (no freeze so far), they have a few different angles which I appreciate. A bit of shaky-cam here and there but nothing too bad. I feel like they improved quite a bit on the camera work for the evening performance. Sound is also surprisingly good.

Setlist

Happy Hello Day: The atmosphere is already so nice, everyone is clapping enthusiastically. I love it! The arrangement with piano and guitar is perfect for this song. Poor Wakana forgot the lyrics though so they had to start again. Awww, so precious, I wanna cuddle her already! Loved the “lalala” at the end! No mistakes for her night performance. Everything went smoothly. I feel like the atmosphere is a bit more toned down compared to the day performance.

瑠璃色の空 / Ruriiro no Sora (DAY): Okay, I have never really liked this song but this acoustic version is actually pretty nice. I may have actually become a fan! :P Thank you Wakana, for this beautiful rendition. Hard Rain (NIGHT): YESSSSS! So much win! While I didn’t mind this version of Ruriiro no Sora, I MUCH prefer Hard Rain.

ひらりひらり / Hirari Hirari: Not my favourite of the “magic moment” album but I really enjoy listening to the live version like this.

442: OMG, I am already blown away! This IS SO GOOD!!!! The live version (especially with this acoustic arrangement) is a REVELATION, everyone needs to listen to it! I am so glad we are also getting this on the Blu-ray this summer!

Talk Corner: Awww, once again Wakana embarrasses herself by introducing her host Bunta Nagamatsu with the wrong name. Seeing her this flustered is super cute but on the other hand, I feel sorry for her T_T They are answering some of the simple/casual questions that fan club members were able to submit in advance. It was interesting to find out that she stretches for quite a long of them a few hours before a live and that she carries pretty much all of her belongings in her bag on a performance day XD Will be summarising them properly once we get the archived version. They are using different questions for the evening performance! YAY! At the end they are demonstrating their kendama skills but Wakana fails to catch the ball the first two times but then on the third try, SUCCESS! She is so happy! At the evening performance she looked like she pulled a muscle doing the trick but yay, she managed to catch the ball on her first try

海を見ていた午後 / Umi wo miteita gogo: Yuming-cover chosen for Takebe-san due to a connection. They picked this song because it features places in Yokohama (today’s live is taking place in Yokohama). Too short but very nice. Not a particularly big fan of the voice she uses for the song though.

アイノカタチ / Ai no Katachi: Misia-cover chosen for Ishinari-san due to a connection. His guitar playing is actually featured in the original recording of the song. Wakana also sang this in one of her fan club videos (where she did her nails). Wahhhh, I am in love!! Such a beautiful cover! This hit me right in the feels, even more so the second time around! *bursts into tears*

I have a dream: Kalafina-cover chosen for Wakana due to a connection. *sobs* Ahhhhhh, this is beautiful. I have no words. Not all Kalafina songs work as a solo song but this one certainly does. Wakana nailed it!! That Kajiura-go part!! Btw, random question for everyone who has been watching the stream, where is that drum/percussion-like sound coming from? It’s noticable in almost all songs but it’s obviously not coming from the piano or guitar. Just curious since I am not an expert on that kind of stuff so I wouldn’t know what tools they have to create this sort of sound without an actual drum set or whatever. Thanks to @sa-nyan for replying, it is INDEED Ishinari using some sort of pedal.

翼 / Tsubasa: Oh wow, already digging the acoustic arrangement. Can I just say how much I appreciate it that Wakana has two super talented and passionate musicians on her side. She deserves to be accompanied by the best. This is one of Wakana’s oldest solo songs so you can tell she is very sure of herself, no hesitation whatsoever, just powerful vocals. Perfection!

恋はいつも / Koi wa Itsumo: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! You all know this is one of my faves so I couldn’t be happier!! Wakana showing the audience how to clap :P SO CUTE! I can’t clap in rhythm for the life of me so I am kinda glad I am not there to embarrass myself :P Too bad the audience was able to sing along this time (probably because of COVID regulations). A little lyric slip-up at the beginnging but Wakana dealt with it professionally.

ENCORE: 金木犀 / Kinmokusei: Ohhhhhhh! And another one of my all-time faves!! Such a good setlist!! As always, beautiful!

ENCORE: あとひとつ / Ato hitotsu: Wakana explains the reason why this hasn’t been released on CD yet. She wants it to be a special experience that is reserved for live performances. She feels this exclusivity is nice. The PERFECT ending just like every other time she sings it.

DAY: Wakana is wearing a lovely salmon/orange/pink (?) coloured toga/tunic-sort of dress. She looks so pretty! It’s off-shoulder (always the best look for her!) and there is a white skirt layered underneath. There is also some binding around her waist. her hair is in an elaborate up-do. NIGHT: She changed into a lovely wide blue gown which goes well with the evening flair. Her hair is in a cute high ponytail. She is wearing her clear chain earrings again.

During the first MC of the day performance Wakana is already getting carried away talking about this and that so Takebe-san has to remind her they are on a tight schedule. XD At the end of the live Wakana announced an online release event for her Blu-ray. It’s gonna take place on August 21. The after-talk is now available. They filmed it after the evening performances answering a few more fan questions.
