Does anyone find it super heartbreaking that when a man is in the Dr Frankenstein role (the actual Dr Frankenstein and the dude from the corpse bride), they always abandon the Creature archetype but when Dr Frankenstein is a woman (Lisa from Lisa Frankenstein and Zoe from American Horror Story) they always love the Creature and embrace it?

Is it because women have been conditioned to love monsters since the dawn of man or are we just more open when it comes to our dark side or both?
