Jane and her family originated from south Korea. When Jane came out as lesbian, her parents weren't supportive of her and told her after high school she was on her own. However, her little sister was very supportive of her. Jane knew she wouldn't make it in college and enlisted into the military. She tried her best to earn days of annual leave in the military to visit Jessie.
While visiting her little sister Jessie, Jane was attacked by anomaly Eyeless Jack who nearly killed her. Jessie wasn't present but Jane's parents were killed and eaten. Project M.B.W took in Jane's mangled body and revived her with H.A.T.E Serum.
After the H.A.T.E serum, Agent Jane was used as a sniper sleeper agent by the Federal Bureau of Paranatural Containment and Investigation. She was still able to live a normal life and her memories of her parents' death were unclear. She didn't know what really happened just that they were dead. Jane's new commander was Janine after she became a Serum H.A.T.E agent. The two unexpectedly formed a sisterly bond.
She met Mary V during her off time and formed a strong bond with her. When Mary V eventually found out what the Federal Bureau of Paranatural Containment and Investigation's real vision was she informed Jane Doe about it. Agent Jane was very disturbed to realize serum H.A.T.E was in her veins instead of blood. Jane needs regular checkups to analyze how the serum is affecting her body. Jane is stuck as a sniper agent, and though she doesn't remember her classified missions she still feels uneasy and guilty for whatever she does.
Most of Jane's personal records are classified yet Janette Ross (Jane Arkensaw) was able to impersonated her. This caused Agent Jane to get entangled in the Jeff the killer case. When she started to investigate Arkensaw and her association to the serial killer, Jeff the killer.Agent Jane tracked down Arkensaw and interrupted her meeting with Luis. While Agent Jane only planned to question them, Arkensaw and Liu went into attack mode completely ignoring Agent Jane's protests. Agent Jane received several wounds before getting her gun out. Jeff as well as Rosemary unexpectedly joined the fight and the four overpowered the already weaken Agent Jane. She was beheaded by Jeffrey Woods. And Anomaly Rosemary helped hide the body.
Additional Headcanons:
Agent Jane needs to take medicine regularly or her body will react poorly to the H.A.T.E surem. She used to smoke.as a way to destress.Agent Jane usually wears her hair in braids. When her hair is down it's wavy from the braids.Jane wears black contacts when in her agent uniform wear due her sight issues from her albinism.
Jane has oculocutaneous albinism. Causing her eyes to be pale blue, her hair to be white and her skin to be very fair. She used to dye her hair black and use make up to look "normal."
Her favorite color is navy or pastel blue. She tries to find dark academia style dresses in this style. All her scars have violet undertones.
Jane loves music, and writes songs sometimes. She was definitely a theater kid in high school.Jane wanted to be a therapist, but didn't finish her education before she died.
Agent Jane Doe's legal name is unknown.Jessie doesn't know know that Jane Doe is still alive. She's currently living with her boyfriend and works as a reporter.
Jane can be dismembered without dying. While she will lose a lot of serum H.A.T.E, she will be in a coma, she will still be alive for years.
Jane wanted to help Vicky, Hannah, Rosemary and Arkensaw.
Relationships:
Agent Jane met Mary in a Cafe during her off time and quickly bonded. As time went on the two began flirting and exploring their relationship. Mary V. Is extremely protective and caring towards Agent Jane and Agent Jane is openly positive and loving towards Mary V. Agent Jane got Mary V to embrace her feminine side again and be more optimistic. The two eloped when Mary V ran into job complications and Jane given more sleeper missions.
Susan and Agent Jane are well acquainted with each other due to Mary V. Jane had a lot of empathy for what Lius did to Susan and wished her luck with getting justice. Susan was meant to meet Jane at the confrontation with Arkensaw and Liu.Jane met Victoria and Hannah once at a convenience store. Jane met empathy for the two and didn't turn them in since she was off duty.
Agent Jane met Janette Ross in an interview. While Mary V. usually turned down journalists, Jane wanted to give Arkensaw a chance which proves to be a mistake. Arkensaw was insensitive and condescending towards the two because of their military experience. Mary V told Arkensaw she had no right to judge because she was wealthy and wasn't desperate for stability. Arkensaw played an important role in Agent Jane's "death".
Jane doe met Janine shortly after her transformation. Her considerate and kind nature managed to break down Janine's walls. The two soon formed sisterly bond. Janine was apprehensive of Jane Doe dating Mary V.

Stuart Immonen's cover for 2006's Nextwave: Agents of H.a.T.E. #1 (from his interview by The Comics Journal in 2020). One of the gems of the second half of the 2000's era of Marvel Comics, along with the cosmic stuff by Abnett & Lanning and the Incredible Hercules series.

Wellness Wednesday:
Better, Warmer, Closer
Last week I reported I was sick, and today... I would say I am still not 100% - I say, I am 85%.
I still need the use of cough drops, still blowing my nose multiple times a day, and still have sinus pressure.
But, none of that has prevented me from forging on.
I up'd the ante in my workout routine by increasing the sets/reps and adding squats back into the rotation.
Now, with my previous workouts I was getting my sweat on - but - with this new regiment I am sweating buckets - I am sweating from pores that I didn't even know were active.
Increasing the sets/reps and adding squats have also reintroduced the classic muscle burn - something I haven't felt since January.
I was also leery of adding squats back into the mix as they were often paired with knee pain, but I took the risk of adding squats back since I've lost over 80 pounds - so far - with the reduced weight, I have no current indications of knee pain.
Hoping I can keep trucking and feel fully recouped of illness by the weekend.

The Good:
Been getting workouts done during regular hours which has been improving my sleep - or - the previous lack thereof.
Appetite has increased since my recent illness, and yet my weight has maintained from last week.
Put a massive dent into my student loans before interest start accruing back. Hope to have them fully paid off before the end of the year.
The Bad:
Still stuffy. Waiting on my head to clear.
The Ugly:
Nothing worst than my head-cold this week - so, not too bad.

Rorkannu, Lord Of The Dank Dimension!
Nextwave: Agents Of H.A.T.E. #7 - #8.
Writer - Warren Ellis.
Artist - Stuart Immonen.
P.S: This character needs to return to the comics, he was so crazy, so funny and so cute at the same time. Also, I would love to see him in the MCU, he would be a great comic relief in my opinion.
