#age regression isn't something I'm at all interested in or familiar with but it was written very understandably!

I also wanna know about your Timmy Turner headcanons, please.🩷
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Please enjoy these low quality images of the Boy™ ever.
Timmy is so extremely Boy that he's also a girl to me. You understand and you agree.
Related: when he feels like a girl, he just has Wanda and Cosmo switch his gender. So much easier than keeping a whole second closet of wigs and makeup and dresses on hand! Normally, though, Timmy feels masculine/androgynous and doesn't care how he's perceived. (He's got better shit to do than worry if his hair is getting too long or if wearing that cute shirt he saw at Walmart will make him look like a girl. Not his problem!!!)
When he gets older he starts to love his teeth, purely out of spite because so many people dragged him about his overbite over the years.
He retires his pink hat as a teenager. (He gives it to Poof.)
In my ideal canon, Timmy ends up as an honorary fairy. Because fuck any reality where he has to say goodbye to his found family, I don't respect that at all.
He and Chester briefly "date" in middle school. It's mostly sweaty hand holding and lots of awkward blushing. It doesn't work out, but it's what introduces Timmy to the wonderful world of Questioning Your Sexuality (and eventually his gender).
Timmy graduates high school with a comfortable C average.
Timmy's favorite wish is Poof.
His favorite reoccuring wish is putting a theme park in his backyard. At this point, he's purposely trying to see how long it takes his parents to notice. (Hint: they never do.)
Timmy always has a pair of scissors on him, in case he needs to cut through a net unexpectedly. He never leaves home without something sharp.
He gets a shitty tattoo when he's fifteen to spite his parents (they don't notice). His second tattoo is carefully selected to remind him of Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof, and they are with Timmy in human disguises when he gets it. He gets other tattoos eventually, but the second one is his favorite.
When he gets older, his parents get worse. They neglect him more frequently and yell at him when they are paying attention to him. Wanda and Cosmo give Timmy an emergency button that will poof him into their castle if he needs to hide for whatever reason. He eventually gets his own bedroom next to Poof's.
(On really bad nights, he wanders the Hall of Timmy to remind himself that he's loved.)
Timmy dislikes his last name. (For a couple years after the Wishology stuff, he flinches when someone says his full name.)
He and Trixie become really good friends in high school once she stops caring about the opinions of people who don't like the real her, anyway.
His least favorite color is orange. (Blue is a close second.)
Timmy mellows with age but he still loves to cause problems on purpose. Sometimes just to get Cosmo to laugh and Wanda to do her fond little eyeroll.
He leaves the house on his eighteenth birthday. (It's the only birthday that his parents ever remembered.)

(sweats anxiously before writing this ask) hi ally!! so im a little scared to ask this bc it is a niche topic and i feel vulnerable lol. But I remember a while ago you answered an ask where you were curious to know which AU’s/tropes we would be interested in sharing, and after seeing these few tweets (pasted below!) I was wondering what your thoughts are on writing about age regression? i’ve seen it written a lot in other fandoms, but there is such a small amount in this fandom, which honestly was a bit surprising to me! I know so many authors write it in for characters that are very angsty and need a (healthy!) coping mechanism for all the stress they deal with (much like poor fictional!matty) and it’s just so comforting to read all the hurt/comfort/fluff that those fics bring. Fictional!Matty’s just always going through it and needs so much love and comfort and i’d love to hear ur thoughts on if it might be something you’re familiar with with reading and/or possibly writing?

Hello Anon! First off I want to say thank you so much for sharing your vulnerability here! This is a judgement free safe zone 🥰 Never be ashamed or nervous about asking about a trope or AU situation - I'm writing an mpreg fic and an omega verse fic in a fandom that doesn't have any other fics with those tropes on AO3 (though if anyone else wants to write some so then I could read it I would be SO HYPE)
Now on to your question - unfortunately age regression isn't something I really see myself writing (I'm sorry!) and isn't something that I'm very interested in personally. BUT I'm super hype that we're able to have a conversation about it! I've come across it in my many years of fandom hopping and unfortunately it's just not a concept that excites me or that I have any interest in writing, and since it's not something that I personally read, or am interested in, I don't think anything that I write with that trope would be very good. I think that there are probably some very talented writers out there tackling it, and I think that's incredible, and I hope that seeing this ask encourages anyone else in the fandom that has been thinking about it, to dip their toes in and give writing it a try! I just will not be the one trying and for that I am very sorry :(
I'm so sorry for not being able to tackle that trope for you, and I hope that more appears in the fandom tag in the future! Also thank you so much for thinking of me, and bringing this interest to my attention! Again, even though it's not a trope I will be writing, hopefully this will inspire someone else! I'm so sorry this probably wasn't the answer you were looking for. I hope you're still able to enjoy some of my other fics! I also hope you had a great day and that the upcoming weekend treats you well!
❤️Ally

Shitty Discourse Asks
5. Separatism: Oh boy, I have strong opinions on this. I have dedicated many years to researching it and its history. Short- I love it. A lot. I love how multi-faceted it can be, how positive, how healing. I recommend for those who aren't very familiar, or see it as rigid to read Marilyn Frye's definition, in which she considered separatism as a continuum, including realignment of identification and commitment (i.e., from man to women-centred), an avoidance of patriarchal influence (e.g., not supporting men's businesses, not watching male-centred tv/movies, not reading male authors or listening to male music), and/or a withdrawal from men’s company. (It's an excellent read and I highly recommend it!). However, I also acknowledge that it isn't for everyone, can't be for everyone. But i like that most separatists work towards making the world better for the women who can't choose it. The stereotype that separatists cut themselves off from the outside world and "walk away from the problem" is historically false. I live it a little and because of that my life has improved incredibly. I hope to one day live the full-fledged life with my gf.
10. Do pastel or age regression blogs glorify ddlg/pedophilia: I have no knowledge or experience/exposure to this so cannot answer it.
11. Polyamory/polygamy: Hate polygamy. However, there's something interesting to me about community style family. A bunch of women raising kids together is cool to me. And I think if that can be done in a polyamorous environment, fine. However, one man married to a bunch of women is just patriarchy, no matter how progressive they try to package it. Also a bunch of men with one woman screams unsafe to me. I do think polyamory must be hard as hell. Its difficult enough for many to be in a strong, respectful, communicative and safe relationship with one person, let alone many. It seems like a lot of work to make it last. I've no interest in polyamory, but I'm not politically/ethically opposed to it.
21. Misogyny in gay men: disappointing. But unsurprising, they're raised to be men after all. There's a long history of lesbians not finding solidarity in gay men because of their misogyny. I wish there was more solidarity between us, because as a lesbian I do really relate to and have incredible sympathy for the gay experience. I think I've had more success in talking to gay men about their misogyny and sexism than straight men. But that's one woman's experience.
