𝓡𝓮𝓭𝓪𝓬𝓽𝓮𝓭 𝓸𝓷 𝓗𝓪𝓵𝓵𝓸𝔀𝓮𝓮𝓷 𝓗𝓮𝓪𝓭𝓬𝓪𝓷𝓷𝓸𝓷’𝓼
Tw: Cursing, Spooky themes, Teo slander, mentions of pumpkin slaughter and suggestive content under the cut.
Notes: Happy Halloween! I wanted to do more but I've been so busy with midterms, work and personal stuff that I never got around to it! Here is my half assed Redacted headcanon because—I can. Side note if someone can clarify, is redacted they/them exclusive or bother he/him, they/them, my ass is confused. Obsessed either way though, none the less lol…mk—Happy Halloween!!! ψ(`∇´)ψ
❥ Redacted likes Halloween. Obviously, they would only want to celebrate Halloween if it makes angel happy. However, considering Redacted is a huge horror fan, they would probably pick Halloween over the other holidays.
❥ Redacted enjoys when you feel safe and happy so, when you said you wanted to go to a haunted house, it wasn’t exactly exciting news.
❥ The idea of you being in fear was something they dreaded but…on the other hand…you clinging onto them for dear life was just a tiny…tiny bit tempting—but the cost of scaring you didn’t compete with the temptation of being depended on. Ultimately they agreed to take you, but they had to gather every ounce of strength in them to ensure they didn’t clobber every actor jumping out in front of you.
❥ Unknowingly angel did the staff an act of kindness when convincing Redacted not to take their ‘new’ sledgehammer to ‘cosplay’ as a serial killer whilst out and about.
❥ Redacted has a special cell in hell for the few propionate actors that popped out and made angel scream bloody murder—And don’t think for one minute he doesn’t have a grudge against every single person who works at the haunted house—even though it was your idea to go in the first place. Simply put, he’s not nearly as forgiving as angel.
❥ At some point in the spooky season, Redacted would absolutely take you to your favorite candy shop, if you like sweets, because—who doesn’t love treating their inner child to some candies! They’d make sure that the store would have all the candies you’d both would share as kids. Redacted would also make sure sure to buy a bunch to take home and devour while you turn off the lights and pretend you aren’t home when the trick-or-treaters come by. Yk because that’s what all adults do on Halloween—be fr with me rn. Unless your Teo ig…I have no doubt homeboy is terrorizing children and flirting with women wearing suggestive outfits, on their way to parties.
❥ Around the spooky season, Redacted loves to watch you watching classics like Slasher films or Halloween but, he’ll only put them on if you want to watch them. He enjoys setting out nostalgic snacks from your childhoods and cuddling up in a blanket with you.
❥ Redacted may pull off the goth aesthetic, however Redacted would create a movie night straight outta a Pinterest board if they knew it would make angel happy. They’d honestly do anything to make you smile and enjoy your time together.
❥ When you suggested pumpkin carving, you never expected them to create such detailed monstrosities. Their pumpkin looked professional, they would absolutely win any contest, hands down; ya boy put Dr.Frankenstein to shame. And watching them carve the guts out was another thing, bro would literally butcher the pumpkin like they were creating an audition tape for a slasher film; they were completely unphased by the nasty smell and the pumpkin pulp everywhere.
❥ Being an artist they’d made their pumpkins look really cool—like one was a hockey mask and the other was a cute doodle like portrait of you as an Angel which he loved your sweet reaction to. The only down side was you didn’t really have anywhere to put them but luckily the you and the fellow library staff were told you could bring some by to add a bit of fun to the building around the spooky season.
❥ If you like pumpkin seeds, he’d make them with you after you set out your pumpkins. The more fun activities to do with you the better—even if they watched twenty different videos on baking the seeds the night before and is stressed about making sure everything is perfect.
❥ If you bake your friends anything, Redacted will get hella Jealous. They want to say something but they don’t wanna ruin your fun ideas—well they really just want you to save your fun ideas for them. Besides you look so cute in the apron they bought you. They end up switching your sugar with the salt, and making the desserts into a literal salt licks in hopes you give up and go to them for comfort. And that maybe if you serve your dessert to other people they will fall off the face of the earth.
❥On that note…He would 100% scare the living shit out of Leon, Teo, Jay, Violet, anyone honestly if you weren't around or you thought it was funny.
~~~~~18+ under the line~~~~~~~
❥ You’re gonna dress up?…Hell yeah. Redacted loves this idea. They’d shamelessly sends you all sorts of costumes you can’t wear out. They won’t waste the opportunity to make this holiday into an excuse to seduce angel.
I agree with your thoughts on the PotO play, I thought what they did with Carlotta didn't make much sense. But if there was a few things about the 2000 movie that I did like about her. Is the fact that made her a bit of a dog mom and did actually care about her husband. But I think your take makes much more sense. I think the only time where a talentless Carlotta made sense was the Charles Dance movie.
It works in the Charles Dance miniseries because she's the owner's wife so her being a terrible singer but still being allowed to perform isn't that much of a stretch and they still manage to make her inability to sing funny in a way that ALW doesn't.
I love Cherik, even if he's pretty far off the book canon I have such a soft spot for him. The reason it doesn't work in the ALW musical boils down to the fact that she sounds terrible for one reason and one reason only, to make Christine sound better by comparison. That NEVER works, if you have to make the rival character incompetent, hard to work with and completely undeserving of their status to elevate your protagonist you've fucked up. You've weakened the impact of your main character's abilities. It doesn't work in the stage version of the musical but you kind of let it go because her lack of vocal ability isn't really made a huge point of but in the 2004 movie we get shots of people putting cotton in their ears and an adoring crowd asking for Christine. At that point keeping her is a liability to the managers because she's extremely difficult to work with and no one actually seems to like or respect her.
In the book Carlotta did have adoring fans, enough that she could fill the opera house with them as a way to bully and intimidate Christine. Her problem is that despite being a good technical singer she lacks passion and she's described as heartless and soulless. The toad scene is particularly telling to me of what kind of performer Carlotta is. The way everyone reacts with dismay instead of laughing or booing her off of the stage.
Later when Erik is explaining the trick he refers to Carlotta's voice as "-Carlotta's golden throat, Carlotta's crystal throat," now, he could be giving us some sarcasm there because earlier in a letter to the mangers he said she "sang like a squirt," (What does that even MEAN you goofy weirdo?) but I take most of what Erik says with a heaping tablespoon full of salt because he is very biased and just generally very unreliable. I believe the book gives more than enough enough substantial evidence to conclude that Carlotta is, in fact, a very good singer. And she needs to be for one reason and one reason only. Because if she's not then her rivalry with Christine doesn't pay off.
Making Carlotta no threat to Christine actively takes away from the strength of Christine's character and makes her triumph over her rival meaningless. What's the point of winning against someone who can't properly play the game in the first place? ALW turns Carlotta from a threatening rival for Christine to defeat into a paper-thin bully for Erik to humiliate.
Fingers crossed on the 'Yang's dad reconsiders about her' thing, mainly 'cuz it seems like an effortless failure mode for their particular dynamic (and one she's super likely to keep internalizing) would be 'huh, guess you're finally using the ol' noggin for more than headbutts, proud of ya sport'. And that's IF both parties aren't too swept up (or unalived in Taiyang's case) by Events for such fine-tuned cognitive script-flipping. Plus, 'we all pedestalized Ruby into a breakdown' does strike me as a higher-priority family crisis if there is any breathing room.
i’m not sure how much i buy the reading that yang internalizes what tai tells her about herself, in all honesty, ’cause like
everything tai says is a generalization from her vytal tournament fights, which:
team rwby won on the strength of their superior tactics and teamwork
yang fired burn because those two were being assholes after her teammate got (possibly, as far as yang knew) seriously injured, then used the power her semblance gave her to take control of the battlefield and turn her opponents’ advantages against them; she wins by applying her strength very tactically.
yang and mercury are very evenly matched, the whole fight is a nail-biter, and yang uses burn to tank mercury’s big finisher, then wins because he assumes he’s won before the match is called. (<- which is merc’s plan, but tai didn’t know that when he formed these impressions.)
tai’s takeaway is:
burn is “basically a temper tantrum”
yang relies on it because she’s “predictable, and stubborn, and maybe a little bone-headed”
yang uses her semblance to make herself strong so she can brute force her way through problems.
except that doesn’t line up with what yang does in either of the fights where she uses her semblance! in the 2v2, she’s angry and she uses that anger to juice her semblance, but she’s not lashing out or blowing things up at random, she’s disrupting the terrain so her roller-blading opponent can’t maneuver; in the 1v1, her use of burn is defensive—she activates it to strengthen herself enough to outlast a volley she couldn’t dodge or otherwise avoid, and she stays focused.
yang, of course, knows this. she’s the one who was in her head when she made the decision to fire her semblance in those fights. she pushes back on the idea that burn is any different from any other semblance, but she’s also able to filter out tai’s specific bias against her semblance to extract some actually good advice, specifically “make sure you’re not getting yourself stuck in a rut, think outside the box.”
which is what we see her doing with burn after v4; she uses her semblance more, in more varied ways. she completely ignores the advice tai gave her to stop “relying” on her semblance because she knows she hasn’t ever been someone who thinks raw strength is the only thing that matters in a fight.
and then when adam taunts her, he doesn’t make jabs about her strength—he says “do you think you’re faster than you were at beacon?”—because he knows, and yang knows, that the reason yang lost her arm is she underestimated how fast he could strike. strength had fuck all to do with it; he hit her before she could reach him.
the thing about that is… sword. fists. adam will always be able to hit yang before yang gets close enough to hit him back, not because he’s a better fighter or faster or stronger but simply because his weapon gives him way more reach. yang is faster than she was at beacon, but is she fast enough to eliminate his mechanical advantage?
adam doesn’t think so. yang doesn’t either. so she doesn’t try—she stands her ground and lets adam come at HER, because she’s been feeling out his semblance the whole fight and she’s confident she can catch his blade. this is why she tells him she’s “smarter;” adam expects a repeat of their last confrontation whereas yang uses what she knows about him to trick him into overextending.
his advantage is superior range, which yang isn’t fast enough to overcome. (sword. fists.) her advantage is strength. being smart, in this case, means using her strength instead of letting adam sting her into a contest of speed she knows she can’t win.
yang is a very agile, precise fighter who’s smart enough to know when to plant her feet and use her strength. she took a risk that she could catch that sword, but 1. that was really her best option, and 2. she spent the whole fight prior testing his limits and her own to prepare herself as much as possible. and in reverse, there have been times—like at haven—where yang decided speed was the most important thing and took the risk of literally disarming herself to get down to the vault as fast as possible.
did she really internalize that she’s a dum-dum who tries to hulk smash her way through every problem, or did she go “well i’m not going to stop using my semblance because that’s bullshit, but maybe i can get more out of it than i have been,” cue experimenting with things like different intensities.
i do think—if there’s a moment of reevaluation from tai—it’ll probably incited by blake or yang or ruby? because, returning to the salem comparison: salem understands who cinder is but doesn’t know what cinder really wants, so when cinder defies her she is able to immediately grasp why. whereas tai generally knows what yang wants (protect her sister, find her mother) but doesn’t understand who she is, so when he tries to explain why she does something he’s likely to be wrong every time. “you’ve fought your whole life unwaveringly for what you want, and here i am holding you back” vs “your semblance is a temper tantrum and you’re a little boneheaded”—salem gets cinder whereas tai probably needs to be told he doesn’t get yang.
MOMENT OF SPAR | KEN ( DRAKEN ) RYUUGUJI. cw-gn!reader,fluff, pov!draken, one-sided pinning, oblivious!reader. word count: 1k note : requested by @acidsbeats via ficforgaza initiative. | redirect to blog navigation |
The sun is busy kissing the sky making it blush shamelessly. The birds are perhaps returning to their nests. The street lights are alive one by one and then there is you who has not given up on the challenge to spar with Draken.
You swing your hand against Draken’s face. No hit. You repeat the movement of your arm, again and again, Draken doges it gracefully. “So, are you gonna give up yet?” Draken’s voice is loud and even suggesting that he is not even a slight bit exhausted unlike you who is having a hard time forming an answer in between the panting and irregular intake of breathing patterns.
“Why should I?” You gasp out taking a breather for a mere few seconds. “I mean, I haven’t won yet,” You are correct though which makes Draken think that you will never be able to defeat him; at least not like this. He tries to jog his memory and look for that particular memory where you decided to challenge him knowing full well the warped difference between you and him with regards to skills as well as strength. Was it days ago? Months perhaps? It can’t be a year. . . Draken can not seem to remember it right.
“Listen, Redhead.” Draken is not even going for defense techniques while you are giving the whole range of offense that your body can offer. “How long this bet of yours last?” He does not need to execute any sort of defense tactics.
Perhaps, he does not even consider you as a threat at all or take your challenge seriously. He should start getting serious because any day you could win; any day now. Wait, are you even serious yourself?
Draken gets impatient with the way you keep throwing non-stop messy punches at him. He was stepping backward while dodging your attacks but all of a sudden his feet halted, getting a firm placement on the ground while one of his came out of his pocket to touch your head. He has practically stopped you. It is endlessly frustrating that what is like finding a needle in a haystack is nothing but a walk in the park for him. Why can’t you win? Not once? Not ever? Not that you take these moments of spars seriously either.
Relationship with him has always been like this ever since you met him. The veil of un-comfortability that comes with touching each other has been lifted long ago. It has been filled with moments like these: sparring with him that inevitably includes nothing but him dodging your attacks.
“Redhead, are you listening?”
“Yeah. What did you say?” Draken’s hand that rested on your head travels back to his designated place, that is, in his pocket, and a visible pout forms on your face. Draken can not ignore that yet at the same time he can not go on sparring with you anymore. Come to think of it, you have a lot of tenacity for someone who gets easily defeated. But for now, for today the sparring session has to stop. He has to go home and believe it or not he is punctual.
“I said, let's call it a day.”
Draken knows it is useless to propose this trail of thought but still, he can not help but try. He will keep saying until your mind gets tired, muscles too exhausted to keep up anymore and then he can carry you in piggyback to drop you at your doorstep. This is the only part that he looks forward to the most and for which he goes through all the hurdles you put him through without ever raising his voice or getting annoyed with you.
Maybe he could have let you win once, make it seem like you won and finally stop this stupid bet all for once but Nah! That is not going to be an option because you will be able to tell upon his tricks. You might not be as good as him at fighting but you can definitely know the way to separate water from milk, well sometimes when the adrenalin rush is at its peak.
“No. One more round,” you whine punching him lightly in the stomach. He bends in response to your touch releasing a grunt. It is not even misleading. Your arm retorts and you bonk his head lightly saying restlessly, “Don’t mock me, Draken.” Your hand slowly recoils back towards your body but Draken catches your hand.
He isn’t though. His head is still tipped down. Perhaps you do not realize but he is still holding on to your hand. There is a surge of warm flush of emotions all over his face spreading up to his nape, creating goosebumps. He knows if he straightens up his spine, he will have to let go of your hand. Can’t he get any more closer than? Or maybe hold on to your hand a little longer?
“What’s up with you today?” You ask being wary of the fact that he is still jocking down, holding on to your hand ever so tightly. Did you hurt him?
“I’m hungry,” Draken exclaims looking up towards you. Your eyes go wide for a second seeing his face. He is okay. He is doing just fine. A wave of relief washes over your worn-out muscles as the fact sinks into you. At first, you snort then a laugh emerges from you. It swells so much that your free hand wraps around your stomach as he watches you smiling like a sun with your auburn hair floating in the air under the influence of the warm gusts of wind.
Ceasing your laughter for a moment you manage to divulge the reason of your laughter. “You look like a freshly picked ripe tomato Draken. Did the summer heat finally get you?” Draken’s breath catches in his throat drowning in embarrassment. Swatting your hand away he ruffles your hair trying to hide his emotions even though you will probably not be aware about it under any circumstance.
“Oh my god. Stop it.” you protest running away from his grip.
“Well, in that case. I can call you red-head and you can call me tomako-kun.”
You snort again but this time you fold your lips so as not to laugh again. Your tummy still hurts.
You have the same hair color as the setting sun while Draken’s face is now a dawning sun as both of you walk towards the exit of the park.
Hey I’ve been wondering could you do a Yamato! Reader from One Piece? And if you can’t do that can you do a Zoro! Reader? I really like your stories! ❤️❤️
Thank you for your kind words my darling!
-Not many warriors had more than two swords strapped to their sides, Kojiro being one of them, so when he saw you walking around, drinking liquor straight from the bottle, three swords strapped to your side, he had to wonder how you used all three in combat if you used all three.
-Kojiro approached you with no fear and while normally you wouldn’t hesitate to throw hands with others, being crass with others, you and Kojiro became quick friends, bonding over sword styles and booze.
-Kojiro worried about your liver, seeing the amount of booze you were able to down in one sitting, before immediately knocking out to take a nap. You were young, you could walk off hangovers more easily than he could.
-When Ragnarok was announced, Brunnhilde offered you a chance to fight against strong opponents, easily tricking you when you initially refused, “C’mon Goll, let’s go find someone stronger to fight instead.”
-You didn’t even realize you had been tricked until Kojiro told you, laughing at your expense, but while embarrassed, you were still going to fight, wanting this chance to fight someone strong.
-However, when it came to your time to fight, Brunnhilde forgot the number one rule when it came to you, after she told you to head down to the arena.
-You had a terrible sense of direction!!
-The battle was delayed because Brunnhilde had to go and collect you from the Norse Pantheon after you somehow wound up there, becoming hopelessly lost!
-Brunnhilde was furious, holding your hand and threw you into the arena, but you weren’t hurt, sitting up and rubbing the back of your head, “Wonder why she’s so mad?”
-Your opponent was furious at your attitude, you seemed almost bored to be there, “I’m going to end this quickly you arrogant human!!”
-As he charged at you, a red glint appeared in your eyes as you almost seemed to disappear, easily dodging the attack while drawing two of your swords.
-Everyone was stunned, seeing your skills, you were so fast, many barely saw you move, Kojiro held his chin in his hand, a grin on his face.
-You put the one sword in your mouth, confusing everyone before you got into a striking stance, breathing in deeply through your nose, your eyes hard and focused.
-Your opponent froze instantly, sensing your strength and immediately tried to defend as you spoke, your words surprisingly clear around your sword, “Three Sword Style: Enbima Yonezu Oni Giri!”
-Your opponent had no time to react, and even with defending, your twisting slash attack had him immediately cut to ribbons.
-Jaws were dropped all over the arena, gods and humans alike, except for Kojiro, who knew that you were insanely powerful, a grin on his face as you were announced the winner, winning your match in less than two minutes.
-Once backstage, after Goll came to get you, holding onto your hand so you didn’t wander off again, you met up with Kojiro who made you smile brightly, surprising you with a drinking party to celebrate your win.
-Brunnhilde was hoping you were going to fall asleep after drinking, so you wouldn’t get into any more trouble. That was the only time you didn’t make her want to pull her hair out was when you were knocked out.
ROUND 1, MATCH 36
NO MAGIC, POWERS, OR WEAPONS
Ace Trappola:
“honestly this fuckin guy could not win in a fist fight he would TRY and then get his ass beat in 2 seconds unless its someone of equal strength as him and then it's just a battle of endurance. of which he does not have much of. he usually relies on his magic to get through battle conflicts but even then that's also not very good and since he isn't able to use magic his chances of winning a fight are kind of down the drain. UNLESS he tries to do a distraction thing with magic tricks and run away which he probably would if he's not pissed off at the person he's fighting. all about the misdirection babey”
“Gonna be honest: I don't actually expect this guy to win the entire bracket. But I do expect him to get decently far - maybe somewhere in the middle. He doesn't have any official training, but he's still strong and decently athletic enough (and has canonically threw good punches) to defeat the weaker characters in the bracket. Ace is smart enough to trick the dumber physically stronger opponents, but it's also possible to get HIM angry enough to make reckless decisions. (Saw someone else submitted him and thought, "why not")”
“He has so much confidence in himself and yet keeps getting his ass beat. He could probably take down some people with pure rage and 15-year-old-ness though”
Kanade Yoisaki:
“She can't even leave the house without almost passing out, eats nothing but instant ramen, and sleeps about once a week”
“she is a wet rag of a girl but i think if she had enough rage she could topple anyone. plus anyone would feel bad about attacking her”
“She's gonna lose SO. BAD. Girlie pop CANONICALLY can't take a five minute walk without fucking disintegrating ohhhh my god no matter who she's put against she'll end up as a smear on the pavement... i love her.”
“Kanade should lose every fight. She has canonically fainted because she forgets to eat for too long, passes out on her desk instead of going to bed, hates the sunlight, she only eats instant noodles, and she gets winded after walking one block. She's from a rhythm game and they can't animate any songs that are too up-tempo with her in them because it's out of character for her to dance that energetically. She's so frail she looks like a breeze would blow her over.”
Very curious about pro hero Deku one for hadestown au!!!
Oh bet!
So the way I see that one going is that Izuku asks Rody to go to Japan with him around when he's about to graduate UA, about to start a hero agency, etc.
However, due to everything that happened and heroes hanging up their capes when they were most needed, the amount of money cast to heroes went down, so that money isn't a driving factor. Think... teachers. You teach because you're passionate about it and want to do something good and help kids. Not for the money because we severely underpay teachers and it's awful. That happens to the hero career too.
Rody works on being a pilot, but it's a lot harder to do in Japanese. So he's picking up another job and Roro and Lala are in school, he's still figuring out the language etc
Then one day Lala becomes horribly sick and there's no clear reason why. Doctors can't tell, quirks can't tell, and she's getting worse.
She's close to dying when someone offers to cure her. In exchange for Rody helping with a quirk analysis. Rody, desperate to save Lala, agrees without a care. He just wants Lala safe and healthy, and Izuku— for all his strength and quirks— can't help here. He's been working himself to the bone and unintentionally unaware of what rody has been feeling and what he's about to do.
Suffice to say, the guy who cures Lala was also the one who infected her, all a ploy to get more people involved in quirk experimentation meant to get to the core of a quirk so that a person can mix them or extricate them or give them, inspired by AFOs ability, except they're looking for the science behind it.
Of course, this leaves the subjects brain pretty scrambled, leading to lapses in memory and stuff. So rody doesn't remember why he did it, how he got there, who was waiting for him.
Lala in this has a quirk where she sort of senses things, draws them, and they happen. It's brushed off at first, cute sketches of Izuku standing tall seen as her admiration, no correlation to the day Izuku wins Hero of the Year at a city festival. So she starts drawing rody and it's assumed that it's just her missing him since he went missing.
Then izuku notices. And he uses her drawings to find rody, but everyone there is... well. Almost like a drone. No thoughts in their heads.
And when rody sees him, rody panics.
He panics because the sight of izuku causes something, but he's not sure what and it's strong and he's saying these names that sound familiar but rody barely knows his own name, and he's scrambling through fractured memories for something but there's nothing and he lashes out because of it.
So now izuku makes a deal. We go a little into Hercules territory for this.
Rody for himself. Just let him get him home to his siblings, to his friends. And they can have izuku. They can dissect OFA.
And it's like sure. If he'll follow you.
At this another subordinate working there offers her own sort of nullification quirk, something that calms a person. But in order to keep the quirk active Rody cant see Izuku's face. It brings up too many emotions and will break the effects of the quirk because it's a very weak quirk.
So does Izuku keep his gaze ahead when he can't hear rody? Could he face Roro and Lala knowing he got that close only to be tricked and lose track of him again? Does he trust someone he doesn't know to help him? Does he hold faith and keep his sight forward, hoping against hope that the love rody held for him is enough to make him follow izuku out of bounds of the experiment site? Enough to heal him?
Or does he look back to be sure he hasn't lost the man he loves?
Ooooh now I'm imagining all sorts of Danganronpa style drama for Azul's trial. So many false leads and tricks!
Someone strong (like Leona) is found dead and weighted underwater, so everyone immediately suspects the 3 merfolk. Some unintentionally specist comments get thrown around. But that's too obvious, right? There's evidence that excludes them, and the arguments go elsewhere. Who is capable of overpowering the victim, etc.? He has injuries that indicate a struggle.
Some eventual evidence indicates the cause of death was drowning. Suspicion returns to the mers. Did they work together to keep him underwater while he fought? He's so strong, it's still hard to believe. Would two of them actually be willing to die while the other wins? There are scary rumors about the Leeches. Was Azul even involved? The Leech twins start playing up their sketchiness (they're angry by this point). But there can only be one killer.
To Azul's horror, someone ignorantly mentions there were circular imprints on the victim's arm (with a picture). He was extremely cautious! There is NO WAY he left sucker marks; he even checked afterward. If they were familiar with octomers, they'd know the marks aren't even the right shape!! He's flipping out now and messes up his words. Nervous chatter has always been a trait of his. The jury ends up deciding the three of them worked together, but Azul is the killer since he had to be the one holding the victim, causing his drowning.
Azul IS the killer, but he's so upset they got all the details wrong. He did everything himself. He meticulously planned everything, accounting for the victim's UM, and krakened him. But he did not leave any of the evidence mentioned and those sucker imprints are fake 😨😡💀!! Now he's going to die looking like a fool where he wasn't.
Before Azul's punishment, Jade reveals that he figured out it was Azul before the trial. He knows him too well. He planted the main evidence because, while he cares for Azul, he has no intention of letting himself and Floyd die for him.
I like the idea that the twins remain super sketchy and intentionally misleading for all the other trials, without actually ever being the killers. They're very angry, and its their way of grieving Azul.
YES YES YES!!!! This is the vision in its entirety!!!! orz the twins continuing to be suspicious menaces even after his execution is perfect.
Azul spends the majority of the game being annoyingly kind and helpful, if only to spread goodwill and reduce the risk of being targeted. He may cut a strikingly scary figure when he's with the twins, but the truth is that he's an animal of prey at heart and he'll do whatever it takes to survive. So as nice as he seems, it's all an act to keep himself safe and on everyone's good sides. He keeps his ears to the ground, always wanting to know as much as possible, and he is genuinely helpful in the trials, if not a little pompous.
But he's so anxious. The killing game is wearing on and he desperately wants to get out of here. How is he going to keep up with the lounge if he's stuck here? This is horrible! He's losing so much business with every passing second! On the surface, Azul keeps himself composed, but beneath perfect smiles and his obnoxious flair for theatrics he's cracking.
I imagine the trial is filled with twists and turns and it's so very convoluted. It couldn't possibly be one of the merfolk, right? Anyone with enough strength could have drowned the victim. It's very possible. Azul keeps his composure up until the moment when everyone starts to suspect and turn against him. His own logic is falling apart and though he's used to quick-paced arguments and discussions in business this is different. They can't be serious. Do they all really think he's the one at fault here? Honestly, he wouldn't revert to his true form to commit murder. Come on! That's foolish.
With all eyes on him, Azul starts to break. It's suffocating to be under such intense scrutiny. Everyone's accusing him of such a monstrous thing. They're all bullies! >:( it's not fair! He's only ever been good and helpful and obedient! Sure, he may have seemed suspicious when he was with the twins, but that's just how they are as a group! It's all just an act to look intimidating, to look strong, to look untouchable. He's not a killer. He's a businessman.
He snaps when the twins don't take his side. So they're just going to bully him, too? Is that it? And from there, everyone sees the real Azul. Foul-mouthed and impolite, he's pointing and yelling, insisting that it can't be him; it could never! Why would he throw his future away just to commit a crime? Why would he make such a risk?! He's a businessman! His eyes are blown wide with delirium. He's definitely breaking into a laughing fit during the trial like how he did during his overblot. >_< he's crazed... it's haunting to see. The twins would feel bad, but he chose this. You make your mistake and you pay for it. Isn't that what Azul always says when debtors refuse to pay what they owe?
He's hysterical until he isn't. Until he can no longer be. After the vote comes in and he's declared the blackened, he gets this far-off look to him. Maybe he's reflecting. Maybe he's not. Maybe he isn't even thinking at all. No one can tell.
It's strange to see the twins without Azul. Their terrifying trio is forever down a member.
#twisted chit chat#azul breakdowns are my bread and butter <3#the emotional range he has... it's so good#going from composed and calm to sobbing and screaming... aaaaaa it's wonderful#he can get so unhinged when pushed to the edge and i love it
Review Ch. 280: "The Wall of The Talented".
The Talent Dilemma
The chapter picks up right where we left off: Loki, with his superhuman speed, intercepts the ‘Kaiser Impact’ and prevents Michael from scoring the winning goal for Bastard München. Isagi watches in amazement as the French player, who reacted only when the shot was made from quite a distance, managed to get there just in time to clear it.
Next, players from both teams scramble to take control of the ball, including Isagi himself. Yoichi begins to question: “What is a genius?” He’s always thought of a genius as someone incredible, but that definition no longer seems sufficient, especially when he looks at players like Loki. As he tries to regain possession, now held by PXG, he wonders: “Is a genius someone who surpasses all expectations with an unimaginable playing style?”
Isagi reflects that a genius is someone who breaks barriers, creates something innovative, and elevates the game to a level never seen before. As he himself has noted, Rin is a genius who fits these criteria, something he proved from his debut, like when he scored an Olympic goal in his first match.
Seeking answers, Isagi approaches Noel Noa, who barely looks at him to respond. Noa reminds him that he asked for a winning theory, something Isagi has yet to deliver. Therefore, Noa concludes he doesn’t see anything remarkable in him.
Isagi soon realises that geniuses don’t act logically; they captivate others with their natural way of being and become the centre of the football world. He acknowledges that he isn’t one of those geniuses and is far from it.
He’s aware that his strength lies in his ability to adapt, but that title of ‘genius of adaptability’ isn’t really his, as it doesn’t fit the standard of genius. He understands he’s simply a talented learner, someone who can adapt to geniuses and play at their level, but without actually being one.
The word ‘adapt’ means to adjust something to another. In this case, Isagi adapts his skills to those of the geniuses but never becomes one of them; he just adjusts his pieces to fit those exceptional players.
The match between Bastard München and PXG continues, and Igarashi again fakes a foul, causing Rin to fall into the trap. It’s a risky move by Bastard, as there’s a chance Igarashi’s simulation won’t be convincing. Hiori himself acknowledges that Rin is a monster and that only with that tactic were they able to stop him. Rin’s expression shows his frustration at Igarashi’s repeated fouls. As a Japanese player, his mindset makes him despise such tricks since he’s used to fair play. However, in the story, Igarashi has had to resort to these tactics to survive in Blue Lock.
Isagi keeps seeing himself as someone who can only enhance his talent and wonders if it’s possible to compete against geniuses using only his brain, eyes, and logic. Persistence has been his tool for developing his skills, like his direct shot, but all that effort doesn’t seem enough in the world of geniuses.
Geniuses possess both physical and philosophical abilities beyond the ordinary, incomprehensible drives that come naturally. Under these conditions, Isagi understands that he can neither compete with nor survive among the geniuses.
This clash with reality makes him accept that with his current abilities, he can’t win, can’t catch up to Rin, let alone become the best in the world.
The chapter ends with Ego watching Isagi and mentioning the ‘wall of the talented,’ but not as an impassable barrier—rather, as a step Isagi must use to find a new path.
In conclusion, this chapter marks a turning point in Isagi’s development. The confrontation with the reality that he’s not a genius but a ‘talented learner’ reshapes his focus. Isagi starts seeing the gap between himself and figures like Rin or Loki, not as a sentence, but as a new challenge. This realisation is harsh and almost heartbreaking, but necessary for Isagi to redefine his limits and seek his own path beyond what’s known. Ego’s look at the end isn’t judgemental, but an invitation: it’s not enough to be a spectator of genius; Isagi must turn his adaptability into an art that can stand on its own. The ‘wall of the talented’ ceases to be a barrier and becomes another test, a step toward a greater purpose. Now, the real challenge is to see if Isagi can turn his persistence and logic into more than just a survival mechanism, and if he has the courage to create a playing style so unique and disruptive that it propels him to a level comparable to the geniuses he so admires.
Hello there. Can I get Zoey, Alejandro, Samey, Brick, and Gwen with a S/O who has the personality of Carmilla Carmine (Hazbin Hotel)?
Headcanons Like Carmilla Carmine
👢 Alejandro x Reader 🐃
From the first time you met, Alejandro saw you as a serious opponent. You were a determined man who knew how to get your way. You seemed tough as flint, well-versed in many areas. Alejandro understood that seeing you as an ally would be much better than among enemies
You saw perfectly well the tricks and tricks he used, and he was pleased that you could appreciate his efforts. However, there were moments when Alejandro came to your aid. It was at moments when your seemingly endless calmness was cracking. You rarely lost your temper, but when that happened, Alejandro managed to prevent problems, because you still had to work together and he couldn't let you ruin everything because you were pissed off
Sometimes you and Alejandro spent time just to relax. It was nice for him to chat with a good conversationalist, especially considering that you could keep his secrets and not use them against him until he used yours against you. Thanks to this unspoken agreement, you could really call yourself people close to each other
Alejandro was confident that together you can get to the final of the show, and only then he will be able to face a really worthy opponent. You had different goals, but he wasn't going to lose to you, no matter how well he treated you
🪖 Brick x Reader 🥾
Your communication with Brick began with respect. He saw perfectly well that you were confident, determined, and knew how to get your way. You were a good opponent, respecting someone else's strength. You were even similar to him in that. Unlike Jo, who commanded him harshly, you treated him with great calmness, which made Brick feel calmer and more confident when communicating with you
You knew that Brick could take some things too seriously and that's why you didn't let others use it. He treated you like an older friend, whom he respected and tried to take similar care of, not even deciding to think about feeling anything more than friendly sympathy for you
You looked after Brick and made sure he stayed in order. You didn't laugh at him and supported his ideas. You worked well together, moving further into the show. Brick knew that you had your own reason to participate in the show and he hoped that if he didn't win, then you would win
Perhaps after the show you could meet and chat again, but without having to worry about the show and the cameras. Perhaps then he would be able to behave more freely with you and not worry about anything
💚 Gwen x Reader 📖
When Gwen met you, she was surprised that someone like you decided to take part in the show. You seemed like a serious and confident person who would consider such a show just stupid, but here you are, a participant in the show intending to win, and Gwen was glad to see a person who was going to play fair
She enjoyed spending time with you. You were a good conversationalist, respected her interests and didn't laugh at her worries. She knew she could trust you, because you weren't going to use her secrets against her. Gwen returned the favor, which made you work well together. At least as long as you could work together, she was going to use it
Sometimes you and Gwen spent time together. She was glad to be able to relax at least for a while. You knew places where there were no cameras, noticing such things. You were a really attentive, insightful and determined person, so she could at least take a short break and not think about the show
You were one of those contestants on the show that she wouldn't be sorry to lose to. You were an honest, sincere participant in the show and she knew that you would use your winnings for good and would not use dirty tricks to win
👥️️ Samey x Reader 😇
From the first day you met, Samey saw in you the person she wanted to be like. You were confident, determined and could always defend your opinion. She would also like to be able to stand up for herself in the moments when her sister once again used her and behaved as if she was innocent of anything. But she couldn't fool you with that
You were the one who believed Samey, perfectly distinguishing the twins from each other. You stayed by her side and decided to teach her how to stand up to her sister. You weren't sure if she would be able to fight back physically, but at least mentally she had to stand up for herself, and not tolerate rudeness from her own sister, and you tried to make sure that she could really protect herself
You were pleased when you saw that she was really able to fight back against her sister. You worked together until she dropped out of the show, but Samey wished you luck, hoping that you could win, and she was waiting for a serious conversation with her sister, and she was not going to let her push herself around
She was hoping you could see her after the show. You managed to get closer and she wanted you to continue communicating even after the show was over. Samey hoped that you would be the person with whom she would be able to share both the good and the bad moments of her life
🏹 Zoey x Reader 🌺
Zoey always seemed kind and attentive to others, and she really was, but she also had a more determined side, the side of a warrior that you could see. You could also be called a warrior. You were a determined, confident and practical person. You and Zoey were able to find a common language, and one of the reasons for that was that you wanted to help her reveal more of her more militant side of her personality
You could work together, because Zoey knew that you were an honest person and she could trust you. You fought back against those who were rude and tried to cheat. Zoey liked how determined you were and she often listened to your advice, knowing that you wouldn't cheat. Sometimes she didn't even understand why you decided to participate in the show, but she was glad that she wasn't alone and she had your support
You were the one who gave Zoey confidence. You were the one who helped her believe that she could win. You really didn't mind her winning, as you once told her. You thought she was the contestant who really deserved to win, while your words made her feel embarrassed
Even when you left the show, Zoey was the one you supported. She found out about it after the show ended and you were able to meet. She hoped that you would continue to be able to communicate, even when you stopped being participants in the show and became just yourself. Zoey was sure that you were still the same person she took a liking to
I hate that out of nowhere, a bunch of people are calling Kakashi a fraud. Saying that "he never lived up to his hype" or "he copied more than 1000 jutsus and only used 3" or "he never had a w", It's something I don't understand, because they never told us that he was the strongest, and also the fact that he always faced the most powerful even without having large amounts of chakra and a kekkei genkai. It's stupid to think that he's being slandered for facing Itachi, Pain, etc. and not winning, as if it were a shame, when they are the strongest and even so Kakashi gave them a fight and made them sweat.
I also hate that all this comes up because they always compare him with Gojo (that is, the strongest in his manga) and the fans don't know how to defend without hating Kakashi for no reason.
Sorry for bothering you with this😔😔
Never had a W? Did they watch him whoop Zabuza and almost kill him until Haku showed up to take the hit? Did they miss that he was fighting Kakuzu without using the Mangekyo sharingan at all? Did they just not watch any of the war arc where he was constantly kicking ass and leading a whole devision???
Gojo is (from what i inderstand) an all powerful character who legit could not be beat and had to be written out by having him sealed away
Kakashi is an incredibly powerful shinobi known for his versatility in skill and intelligence but never painted as ‘unbeatable’ which i think is cool. He’s an exceptional shinobi but he cannot win them all and that’s awesome. It allows other’s to shine without Kakashi being stomped on (like Konohamaru is in Boruto). Even when Kakashi does lose it’s against impossible odds (pein is legit stated as a god like character where as Kakashi is not, and Pein STILL felt threatened enough to have two pein’s fighting Kakashi at once)
With Itachi there’s only one fight itachi won and that was the first one when Kakashi came in unprepared because he didn’t know shit about the sharingan and Itachi (rightfully) used his MS to put Kakashi under a genjutsu that no one except Sasuke could eacape. Like, that alone tells you how much of a threat Kakashi was to Itachi. Itachi put Kurenai (a genjutsu specialist) under regular genjutsu. He whipped out his MS and exhausted himself to take Kakashi out right away instead of risking an actual battle.
Their second ‘fight’ (stated this way since Itachi was not really there and there was no winner on either side) Kakashi tricked Itachi into putting a shadow clone into a genjutsu using his MS (it was the exact same genjutsu but Kakashi was preppared this time and tricked Itachi).
Kakashi is also a character who talks about teamwork a lot and he doesn’t just talk about it, he lived it. He fights with his students. He fights with his friends. He does not take everything onto his shoulders and fight alone like naruto and Sasuke. He is also very aware of his skill level, telling Naruto he needs the back up against itachi but also being the dude who predicts ‘certain death for the 50 nobodies’ in Kakashi retsuden when Nanara asks him how a fight with the sixth hokage vs fifty shinobi would end (and he was right. They didn’t die but he demolished 50 shinobi without breaking a sweat)
Anyone talking like this about kakashi 1) is probably someone who only likes over powered characters which i personally find boring af cuz there’s no risk 2) is just lying. Kakashi win’s all the time and is a little shit in a fight and that’s the best thing about him. He’s not the strongest but he is strong and with his strength comes a certain level of arrogance when he knows he’s going to win.
Man faced Hidan with nothing but a Kunai and wasn’t even really sweating. Kakuzu was more of a threat but again, not enough of a threat for Kakashi to even use the MS
As for the ‘never used 1000 jutsu’s’ like… how is that the characters fault? Kishi decided to always have him spam Chidori instead of showing his 1000+ jutsu. Kakashi retsuden is fun for me because we get to see him use all diffrent sorts of jutsu so anyone who wants to see Kakashi’s range of skills i highly suggest his books because they portray his diffrent skills so very well.
In short: i suggest ignoring people who say that kind of thing. They clearly watched/read Naruto with blinders on and didn’t actually care to pay attention to anyone but their fav. I mean, they’ll probably talk up how strong sasuke is and never address the fact that he took a lot more L’s than Kakashi
And for those who think Kakashi lost all his battles
Kakashi vs Zabuza: Win (Haku saved Zabuza)
Konoha crush: defeated 21 enemy no sweat and then a draw (Kabuto ran for it) against Kabuto
Sent away during the sasuke retrieval arc
Ripped off deidra’s arms and sent him running for it (naruto was also facing him so is that an L for naruto? Or do people just ignore it?)
Kakashi vs Kakazu: interupted, but kakashi destroyed two hearts, three with shikamaru’s help and his work
War arc: defeated multipule enemies including the seven deadly swordsmen
Kakashi vs obito: draw
Team seven defeating kaguya? Managed because of KAKASHI’S plan
Kakashi is also a big reason Gai was able to hit madara while using the eighth gate of death. He kamui’d away a piece of Madara’s protective sphere and gave Gai an opening to actually strike and nearly kill madara
Natsu Dragneel: Hogwarts AU
Natsu Dragneel is a Half-Blood wizard that was born on the 7th of July 1973 and started attending Hogwarts on the 1st of September 1984, being sorted into Gryffindor house.
He has a Ash wand with a Dragon Heartstring core.
His Patronus is a Chinese Fireball Dragon.
His favorite subject is Defense Against the Dark Arts and his least favorite is Flying.
He was the Headboy of his year.
Natsu is carefree and reckless in nature, and, despite his consistent brawls with the other members of Gryffindor house, he is a fiercely loyal and protective friend. He is willing to go down fighting for his friends, regardless of how futile it might seem. Natsu has a straightforward mind, and often tackles issues with a "hands on" approach. His solution to problems often involve violence. Even when disrespected or faced with obvious hostility, Natsu rarely ever reciprocates the feelings, and often forgoes grudge-holding. He did, however, for a short time, hold a grudge against Jellal Fernandes, but eventually forgave him and considered him an ally. He occasionally shows compassion for his enemies, such as when Cobra was betrayed by Brain. Natsu rarely exhibits any perverse tendencies towards the opposite sex, there only being two noted instances. The first is seen prior to the Triwizard Tournament, when he is seen trying to peek, along with several other of his male classmates, on the women as they bathed in the Prefect's Bathroom. The second is when Lucy comes crashing into him while nude, and he stares at her body, even groping her breasts for a moment. Natsu is rather immature, making an enemy laugh during duels, or even pulling pranks on others. That being said, it has led to foes to underestimate him and fall his tricks as well. Despite his childish side, Natsu can be responsible enough when looking after someone.
Natsu continuously tries to prove his strength to others. At various points in time, he has challenged Erza, Laxus, Mirajane, and even Gildarts (in short, all of the top students in each year), to fight him, albeit, he was beaten every single time. Despite his losses, Natsu bears them no ill will, as he considers everyone at Hogwarts to be his family. He demonstrates this attitude even towards former enemies. Natsu has even gone as far as defending Laxus from being expelled, despite him opening the Chamber of Secrets. Due to his reckless nature, Natsu's duels usually ends with widespread destruction. Natsu's love of duelling has allowed him to develop a rather strategic mind, helping him to, on various occasions, find weaknesses in his opponent's techniques, or simply weaknesses his opponents themselves possess. Natsu has also defeated his opponents with pure wit, rather than strong spells. Natsu, befitting his recklessness and love of duelling, never backs out of a duel. Natsu’s love for combat is purely for pitting all his strength against others and see who comes out on top and doesn’t like the idea of murdering people. That being said, Natsu he’ll do whatever it takes to win in serious all out war if it means securing everyone’s safety.
Natsu hates the idea of self sacrificing one’s life and has prevented those closest to from attempting so, believing it causes others more pain than good, also showcasing how much Natsu values life itself. Natsu values family above all else, stemming from the time he mysteriously lost Igneel the only family he’s known thus holds onto his current one he’s build within Gryffindor house and gets mad at anyone who do not appreciate those closest to them.
Ever since their meeting, Natsu has gotten rather close to Lucy, even being overly familiar with her, such as casually breaking into her dorm room, much to her and her roommates' annoyance. Natsu has admitted that he’s always felt comfortable around her, which he believes is due to her having a similar aura to Anna who cared for him when he was a child. Lucy clearly means a lot to Natsu, always concerned for her safety, trusts her a great deal and grateful for all the help she’s given. He gets enraged at anyone who would so much as harm her a great deal. More recently, Natsu has attempted to keep his recklessness in check as per Lucy’s advice, even when provoked into fighting by others.
Natsu was very close to Lisanna for helping him raise Happy who would become his partner and trusted best friend. Because of this, after her supposed death, no one at Hogwarts mentioned her out of respect for his feelings. However, after Lisanna's return to Hogwarts from captivity, this is no longer the case.
Out of his fellow Gryffindors, Natsu feels most antagonistic towards Gray, as the two constantly fight and bicker every chance they have since childhood. The two were even initially reluctant on being in the same house and usually acted friendly towards each other to avoid Erza’s scolding. Despite all this, they do care for each other as much as anyone in Gryffindor, Natsu has carried Gray when he’s down, even preventing Gray from sacrificing himself numerous times, even being saddened to tears. The two are shown at times to at least get along in friendly competitions.
Natsu fears Erza the most out everyone and panics if he ever gets on her bad side, yet still challenges her to duel when he can. Natsu respects Erza for her strength, saying she’s at her best when she’s strong and violent, thus gets mad at anyone who so much as brings her sadness. Natsu would go as far as defy the Ministry of Magic for Erza’s sake, such as attempting to stop Jellal’s imprisonment knowing it would’ve hurt Erza despite his own issues with him at the time.
Due to all of his trips to Romania as a kid, Natsu suffers from motion sickness. Natsu becomes sick from riding on any form of transportation, even if the transportation happens to be other people, as shown when he was carried by Lucy. This, however, does not apply to dragons, as he considers them family, not transportation. Natsu can become sick from looking at, or simply thinking about, any form of transportation. In spite of his naturally dense nature, Natsu is quite perceptive and understanding of his friend's feelings. After his O.W.L.S. in Defense Against the Dark Arts, Natsu came to understand and accept fear, and has used this acceptance to help his friends and himself emotionally grow. Prior to this event, Erza’s wrath (albeit for comic relief), transportation, and the Ministry of Magic were the only things that Natsu feared.
In the Sports Festival, how would you have envisioned a match between Iida and Bakugo?
This is a tough fight to answer. Because these are two intelligent fighters who have seen each other's match ups and would have ample time to plan against one another. This fight depends a lot on how these two would run counter play to one another. I could easily write this around Iida using his plan in the Sports Festival, but I doubt that would apply. While Iida has used the same strategy on the other students of shoving them out of the arena before they can fight, that was against long ranged fighters who need time a moment to set up their attacks and didn't does as well up close. I do not think that Iida would be dumb enough to use the same strategy on Bakugou, someone who excels at close range and is a very mobile fighter. If he goes to grab Bakugou, he's just going to get blasted in the face. I do think that Iida would try to save his Recipro Burst then trying to waste it at the beginning so that he can try to wear down Bakugou more like he did with Shoto.
As for a regular fight, it's hard to say. These two are similar as rush down fighters, but have their own strength and tricks. Iida is faster, better on land, and has a more reliable ability thanks to only need to fuel up . On the other hand, Bakugou has a more offensive arsenals, better aerial mobility, and has a much wider range of affect. I could see this becoming a rush of a fight, with each one attacking and narrowly missing one another, supplemented a few out of the box attacks, like Bakugou attacking the arena with a massive blast to disrupt Iida's movements or Iida trying to launch himself upwards to get Bakguou while he's flying. While Bakugou could potentially win in that situation, all of that changes the second Iida uses Recipro Burst. I'm not going to sugar coat it, I think Recipro Burst blows Bakugou out of the water. I don't think he is anywhere near fast enough to counter it and I think it could do enough damage to knock him out of the fight. Sure, he could try and stay in the air, but Iida can easily fly with it activate to give Bakugou the patented Iida Knee.
Okay I had a theory about how Dazai was working with Ango, Mori and Chuuya, isolated from the detective agency, because he wants to be the one who's brought to the Port Mafia in that draft pick and I just realised.
What was Sigma's role in this arc? And what is so infuriatingly obvious about how Dazai treats him in hindsight?
He's teaching Sigma.
Not in the way he taught Akutagawa, and not in the way he taught Atsushi either.
But he tells Sigma that there's no such thing as a superhuman, and teaches the trick on how to always win in Rock Paper Scissors. All it takes is some preparation. And isn't that nice to hear, for someone who dedicated himself to memorising thousands of customers at a casino that's nothing more than ash now. That you can work hard, and it will result in strength, and enough power to keep you safe, even against beasts like Dostoyevsky?
He doesn't even teach Atsushi or Chuuya the tricks behind his stunts, not like this anyway.
And there's a haven, an agency, hidden in Yokohama, where you won't need to control anyone. Where you can be a good person, where you can find a home, a family.
Sigma doesn't belong anywhere. He's scared of being used by the world. And Dazai knows where he will be safe.
He also knows, that Mori has finally been able to grasp back the Demon Prodigy.
He's teaching Sigma, so the detective agency won't be left short staffed. He's still under their payroll after all, it's only appropriate to train his replacement.
(Of course the agency would never let him go. But Dazai has always been a little foolish in the horrific understanding of how much people care about him. It's okay. They'll help him figure it out.)
Hello author 👋☺️ can I request an Ror x op reader scenario please 🥺
-As soon as Ragnarok was announced, Brunnhilde sought you out, knowing full well that you were going to be able to win your fight, hell you could probably fight half of the tournament!
-You were breathtakingly strong, even Thor knew of your strength as you were the only one that could actually give him a challenge.
-You fought more for fun, something to pass the time, rather than a passion, your true passion was baking, your quintuple chocolate fudge brownies could bring even the strongest to their knees.
-You were blessed with an extremely strong body, also with incredible combat skills and knowledge, you were truly a warrior of warriors.
-Which irritated so many in Valhalla when you arrived that you didn’t want to fight or even spar, you just wanted to bake and enjoy your afterlife the way you wanted to. If you did fight, it was only on your terms.
-You initially refused Brunnhilde, until she explained that if the gods won, humanity would be wiped out, which meant you would be wiped out and you wouldn’t be able to bake anymore.
-Oh hell no!
-When you were announced as a fighter, the gods were immediately panicking, knowing that even without a divine weapon, you could win against any of them.
-Zeus tried to bribe you into not fighting, promising to spare your soul, but you didn’t find that fair, just because he didn’t want you to face the gods.
-When Brunnhilde found out about the bribery, she was pissed! Even with your renewed desire to fight, that did little to quell her rage.
-Zeus had to think smartly about your opponent, as he needed someone overpowered, just like you, to even think of standing a chance against you.
-Brunnhilde kept you benched, a wild card is what she called you, just in case if any of the gods tried anything sneaky.
-You weren’t bothered by being benched, cheering on your fellow fighters and mourning when they lost.
-You had grown close to the other fighters, seeing them as friends, and to see them lose was heartbreaking.
-When it was your turn to fight, in the final match, the tournament tied up, Brunnhilde wasn’t going to take any chances.
-You were actually late to your fight, running in, “I’m sorry! I had cookies in the oven!” you never knew what the sound of a stadium full of people all face palming at once sounded like before that moment, what a surreal sound.
-Your opponent was Eris who had an evil smirk on her face, having done her own dirty trick, performing a Volundr with Chernabog, a Slavic god of darkness and evil.
-Even with their dirty trick, you handed their asses to them so easily that Chernabog actually unformed with Eris, revealing their deceit, something that caused outrage on both sides.
-Even two on one, you handled it as if it were a game, not a fight for your life, for all of humanity.
-Thor was actually grinning, amused that you were handling them both easily, he knew that you were going to win.
-You celebrated with the other humans and Valkyries as well as the gods who changed their tune, cheering as you had earned humanity’s salvation!
-Zeus shook your hand personally, actually smiling up at you, almost like he was proud of you, before he and the other gods came together to restore those who had been lost, back to life, causing even more celebration.
