Bang Chan

You felt like you were suffocating inside that stall. The ringing in your ears had long disappeared only to be replaced with a head dizzy with anxiety, making the outside noise appear muffled instead. Yet you tried your hardest to strain; distinguishing the voices outside to count how many they were.

How long had you been in there?

You remembered that your boyfriend had taken you on a rare outing, to a festival he was invited to. He had been smiling from ear to ear while telling you it was ' a date '.

The contents in your stomach mixed with the cheap alcohol threatened to make its way up again at the thought of the memory.

As soon as the pair of you had arrived, you knew that was it - the day you try to escape. It was the perfect setting. The festival was huge; having so much land that fans could decide which artist to flock to as they were all spread out over the area.

He of course wanted to go to the one that was the furthest away. For a moment you were struck by a paranoid thought, did he choose this one so it would be harder for you to run away?

But you shook it off, telling yourself that he must like indie artists since he was an artist and producer himself.

Midway, you told him that you had to use the bathroom. It was preplanned by you begging him to buy you alcohol so you could use that excuse.

He agreed but looked at you with a suspicious frown when you said you could go alone. Hurrying to cover your tracks you quickly said he could stand close by and still watch the concert while waiting, to which he agreed.

You waited and waited. The clock was ticking too slowly. You were beginning to panic thinking that he was going to call you or bang on the door.

But you were extremely lucky.

Just as the numbers on your phone told you that it had been twenty minutes since you left, you started hearing several voices. You opened the stall and stood next to the entrance to hear better.

The voices got louder. Several people passed by, chatting and cheering loudly. You made the assumption that another concert close by had ended which was exactly what you'd hoped for.

A few more minutes passed. You remained in your spot, pressing yourself against the tiles, contemplating what to do. However, the voices got fewer and they seemed to start to fade away.

It was now or never.

You pushed the door open and made a run for it. A loud ringing sound almost made your attempt to seamlessly blend into the crowd difficult, but you managed to silence your phone just before it got too loud.

The crowd moved towards the main entrance and you followed, thankful that there were so many people that even if your boyfriend tried looking for you, he'd have a hard time.

Thinking about him again made your breath hitch. You brought out your phone. His name flashed back at your widened eyes under the text that read missed calls.

Shit, that meant he was looking for you. You felt trapped. It was impossible to make the group move faster; it almost had a mind of its own, the people in front didn't budge when you tried and you were surrounded with no gap to slip to the side. You just had to accept that it would keep going incredibly slow while Chan stalked closer.

The phone called again, the haunting ringing echoing in your head even as you pressed to turn it off for a second time. Then you heard a voice. At first, you thought it was your mind playing tricks on you, but then it came again, louder.

'' Y/n! ''

You froze for a second. People pushed against you, making your body jerk forward, and others complained loudly. You hurried to collect yourself before continuing to move, fearing that causing a commotion would attract his attention.

'' Y/n, '' he said, this time his tone was much lower, sending a shiver down your spine, '' I know you're in there.''

Changbin

You regretted it the moment he lifted his spoon and gave you an ominous look; like he knew exactly what you were up to.

Your hands felt clammy as you watched him put the cutlery down again and shuddered when he crossed his arms over his chest.

'' Come here, babe. ''

You wanted to ask why and play the innocent card, but his narrowed eyes and his face lacking amusement told you that you had no choice but to obey.

So you shuffled over and lowered your head when you arrived right next to his seat at the table. Even with you not looking at him, you could hear the sound of fabric moving and saw in your peripheral vision how he patted his lap.

Swallowing thickly you yet again obeyed without a word. As soon as you had sat down, he tried to force a spoonful of soup into your mouth.

Instinctively you turned your head away which only seemed to confirm his suspicions. He wasn't dumb, you knew that. But it was pretty obvious now; he was a lot smarter than you'd thought.

'' You took a lot longer than usual to cook dinner today. '' he sighed disappointed, '' Had second thoughts, huh? ''.

You held back the bitterness that rose to the surface at the sour realization that he knew you so well that any sneaky attempt to go behind his back would immediately be noticed by him.

Still, you refused to admit what you had done. You tried putting on a brave face; a chin held high and a curious look on your face.

'' What do you mean? ''

He scoffed. '' Still playing a game? ''

'' I'm not. I was just looking up a recipe. ''

'' For this soup? That you've made a thousand times? ''

You bit the inside of your cheek and tried to come up with a cheap lie on the spot.

'' I- had some drinks before making dinner actually. So I didn't really remember the recipe. ''

An uncomfortable silence passed between you. You felt too scared to look at his face, knowing that the chance of your facade crashing down was a lot higher if you did so.

Stubbornly you kept your gaze fixated somewhere in the distance, at the end of some hall facing your way.

'' I will go easier on you if you come clean. ''

Despite your mind screaming at you that it was a trick, you thought this time it was surely different.

'' I put poison in the soup,'' you weakly admitted.

Changbin hummed again, making goosebumps appear all over your skin in anticipation and fear. He was definitely mad, you knew he was. Who wouldn't be mad if they found out someone tried to poison them?

He kept a poker face even though you could guess pretty well how he was feeling inside. What you didn't know, however, was the severity of his anger.

But it was something you'd notice quite easily when he got up quickly, forcing you to be pushed off his lap. You watched as he picked up one of the nicely carved knives on the decorated dining table.

He chuckled, '' You're so naive, baby. Always trusting lying men's words. ''

Han

It was getting late. You were standing in the bathroom hoping to get a few minutes to yourself, away from your clingy and overbearing boyfriend.

The door rattled and you rolled your eyes. It had been what? Twenty minutes, yet you could hear him almost hyperventilate while trying to unlock the door.

It eventually did. When the click sounded you took a deep breath to prepare yourself. It only took a few seconds after that sound before the door pushed open and he ran to you; wrapping his arms around you from behind like it was second nature.

Your body reacted the same way it always did, it wanted to squirm out of his grasp, make his skin unglue from yours, like every part of you that was in contact with him made you feel queasy.

But naturally, you had to bear it. A fake smile appeared on your tired lips, tired from smiling so much when it wasn't real - just to satisfy the psycho man you had accidentally gotten yourself involved with.

'' Let's go to sleep now, hm? '' he hummed contently.

His breathing had regulated now that he was with his favorite person. The anxiety disappeared and he looked like he was on cloud nine. You were his drug, after all, he couldn't live without you.

'' Sure, '' you answered in a mumble.

He didn't let go of you even as you attempted to move towards the bedroom so you were stuck waddling with him clinging to you.

Yet again you bit down the fury. At least in your dreams, you got an escape from him. You couldn't wait to get into bed.

Except there was one thing that wasn't exactly ideal. Han went to his side of the bed and pulled out the drawer, bringing out the metal thing that made panic surge through you every night.

Handcuffs.

He didn't trust you enough yet. Or maybe it was rather that he knew deep down; if you had the chance you'd run, because you weren't actually in love with him.

Tonight you didn't put up a fight. You were so tired that you only showed him your wrists so he could make it quick. It shut and the coldness made you suck air in through your teeth. You moved so Han could attach the handcuffs to the bed.

He gave you a wide grin and climbed in on the other side, immediately gluing himself to you again. Reflexes made you yank on the handcuffs when his hands roamed over your body.

But something felt off. The handcuffs didn't make the loud clanking sound they usually did when you tugged on them, and the previously tight hold around your wrists had become much looser.

With blood racing in your ears, you pretended like nothing was wrong and forced your stiff body to relax in Han's arms. He sighed and buried his face into the crook of your neck.

You knew you wouldn't be able to sleep. Not with the sweet temptation of escape.

You waited. It took a long time, but finally, his breathing turned heavier and his hold around you became softer. Slowly and step by step, you freed yourself from being under him. When you were fully free and sat up, you kept glancing at him to see if he'd woken up.

Seeing as he hadn't you then stood up and with the uttermost concentration you opened the handcuffs while trying to make as little noise as possible.

Your hand slipped out easily, almost too easily.

But you wasted no time in pondering why he had forgotten to lock it properly tonight, and instead went for the door. Outside the bedroom, it felt like everything sounded ten times louder than usual.

You somehow made it to the hall and were just about to put on your shoes when you froze. The light turned on.

Petrified with fear, you didn't dare turn around. For a minute you thought of running for it anyway; the door wasn't far away, only within arms reach.

Han didn't give you a choice, however. Noticing that you weren't moving to face him, he put himself between you and the door, forcing you to look up at him.

The look on his face conveyed heartbreaking disappointment. He felt sorry for you but betrayed as well. You winced away, the bright light felt too much like you were being interrogated.

His lips twitched, barely concealed anger visible in his eyes. He looked like you had committed the most horrible atrocity ever, and yes, in his mind you had.

You had failed his experiment of trust. In a voice that broke with each word, he cried, '' How could you do this to me? ''

My thoughts on the best chapter thus far of the current arc? I’m glad you asked

I must say this chapter launched me into a full blown Mitsukou/Soukou brainrot. I have like a million fic ideas for both of them now and there’s no way I can possibly write all of them AND complete my requests so I just have to be sad. But omg, what a chapter!! I’m still stuck on the “smothered him with attention” line, that sounds like some shit I’d write. And ofc Kou being “captivated by that loser.” Ugh they’re so in love. I am now fully convinced that Sousuke had a crush on Kou in the former timeline when he was alive, you literally cannot convince me otherwise

The fact that if Kou’s mother hadn’t died and his father wasn’t neglectful, he would’ve used his free time to befriend Sousuke…and him being the one to save Sousuke’s life in the new timeline…oh I’m ill. The finger scene. Kou’s little blush. MITSUBA TEACHING KOU HOW TO USE A CAMERA BY STANDING BEHIND HIM AND GUIDING HIS HANDS. This was their cheesy romcom moment. The dead wife montage in an action movie

I love how their former selves are trying to reach out to them. No.3 was so unhappy with his existence to the point of wanting to die, and he wanted Sousuke’s life so badly but now that he’s lost it all he wants it back. Kou learned during the Red House arc that it’s okay if life is complicated, it’s okay if he’s stressed and doesn’t have everything he wants, and now he has to see a version of himself live in blissful ignorance. I don’t understand how people can say this timeline is better unless they’re fluff addicts, them staying in this timeline would do nothing for their character arcs and the overall narrative themes of growing up and facing reality. This life may be easier, but it robs each of them of their natural growth. I understand people are gonna have different preferences but the conflict of the old timeline MADE the story, do ppl rly want all of that to be thrown away for some “and then it never happened” ending?? Do you genuinely think it would be better writing if we never saw No.3 Mitsuba again and his arc ended with another shock value death???

Sorry for the rant lol, I couldn’t help myself. Absolutely no offense to anyone who prefers this timeline, it’s not like the fans are writing the story anyways so these opinions are harmless

I love how every version of Mitsuba wants to be someone else, they each perceive themselves as the “fake one” (excluding OG Sousuke) and feel disconnected from their existence. When I get around to writing my character analyses for TBHK I WILL talk abt all the queer allegories that go along with Mitsuba’s character but for now I’ll hold my tongue. All ik is this chapter made me love Sousuke sm more

Oh, and adult Amane…jump scare of the century. I can’t wait to see what his role is in this new timeline, I have a feeling it may be similar to Baby Tsukasa in the previous one. I love whenever the Yugi twins interact with Mitsuba (yes even the angst with Tsukasa) so that scene made me cheer. Also Kou saved his boyfriend!! Yippee!!

Sousuke and Kou wanting to run away together gave me major Picture Perfect Amanene vibes. Also HKOTO vibes, pls bring back the yaoi kidnapping🙏🏻

But all of you had a swore hatred towards the Judmentday. They were too loud; too much; and too fucking cocky in your opinion. Now the boys were completely thorough in their dislike; you on the other hand...had a childlike crush on Dominik Mysterio.

It made no sense to you honestly, he was just as much of a dick as the rest of the group, but he seemed kind underneath it all. Like maybe it wasn't in his nature to be so disrespectful. But Monday night proved you wrong.

It was destined to be a long match, one where the groups would go act each other until everyone was worn out and restless. Despite how good The Judgement Day was, you had the intention to win. In fact, you had no doubt that you would win. So when you and Seth were inside the ring together, bouncing around, Dominik and Damian were trying to find the best way to stop you both from hitting them. Damian took a kick; from you; to the chest and stumbled back for a moment. But Dominik was slammed directly onto his back and he was completely winded. Dominik had gritted his teeth and held his chest, just barely rolling to the side to cover himself. It looked so real and the concern you felt only made the facade more convincing.

You ignored everything around you like an idiot; you had forgotten the nature of, The Judgement Day. You skidded down on your knees beside Dominik, and you grabbed him by the arm to roll him over. The second you did his eyes flashed open and his hand went against your shoulder just as fast. He pushed you down and pinned you with no problems; you weren't in pain. More so just paralyzed in shock. At the 3rd count and ring of the bell, Dominik shot up with a victorious smile and went to celebrate with his group. While you sat up and smacked the ring; now you were pissed. Anything you felt for Dominik had disappeared at his stupid stupid trick.

You looked up to exactly what you expected, Roman glaring, Dean running his hands down his face in disappointment, and Seth shaking his head.

"You have to be fucking kidding me", Dean just about snarled at you. You open your mouth to speak but Seth cuts you off before you even begin, "What happened?". Your mouth opens again only to be interrupted once again, "I think it's pretty clear, she has the hots for that dick" Dean scoffs. You glare at him, "He is not a dick" you mumble. Somehow you found yourself defending him after what he had done. "Really? Then what just happened out there?!", Roman says while making intense eye contact with you. You felt like you were in some kind of intervention at the moment. They all looked at you; waiting for you to say something; anything.

"I don't know", you mumbled and looked at the floor like a coward. You had already felt bad for causing the match, but of course, this hurt worse than that and 100 injuries combined. "We needed you and you go check on the enemy!", Dean has begun yelling now and took a step closer to make it clear he was talking to you. Roman puts his hand out across Dean's chest and shakes his head much like before. You snap your head up to look at Dean and the burning of tears has just started, "He's not the enemy!!", you yell back at him.

"He is!", Dean snarls. You cross your arms and argue back, "He's not". Seth finally cuts in, "But The Judgment Day is?" he questions. You deflate and puff out your cheeks; "That's different", your back to mumbling. "It's not" Roman cuts in and it finally seems like that's all they had left to say. Dean scoffs and just walks away, Roman follows after him without a glance. But Seth pats you on the shoulder with a disappointed look before walking the same. You bang your hand on the wall and curse at yourself for fucking up so badly.

That loss will be the talk of the month, The Shield has never lost to The Judgment Day; at least not until tonight. You walked out of the locker room but your mind felt as heavy as your steps. You had to sit down, but when you walked out and slouched on the wall beside the locker room. You saw the same Dominik Mysterio sitting on the floor, on the other side of the wall, right in front of you. You looked at him with glossy eyes and longing. Even after thinking all the feelings you held for him were lost, not only did your heart beat faster but you had defended him minutes prior. Dominik bit his lip and scratched his eyebrow, "I heard what all you said in there" he commented.

Your lip curled in anger, "Yea? Then you should've heard how much shit you got me into" you spat and pulled your knees closer to your chest. Dominik had only nodded, but he looked up at you front behind his wispy hair; "I didn't ask you to check on me". You roll your eyes like your intention was obvious, "It was the right thing to do" you said quickly. "That's not it", Dominik said right after you.

The hallway was vacant and the space between you both was so vast. You felt as if you could drift away from him at any moment. You also felt like the tears in your eyes had a long time from drying. Though for some reason Dominik made it feel a little better.

From Dominik's point of view, he sees a woman struggling with the mistake of helping an asshole, also known as himself. He felt so bad, and The Judgement Day could never know he was apologizing or a win. For you, nearly everything felt worth it.

Your eyebrows pull in and you squint at him, "What?". "You didn't check on Damian when he fell to the floor at the beginning, so that's not why", he had analyzed your every movement. You clenched your jaw; looked at him and then back down at your lap, "I have no clue what you're talking about". Dominik bit the inside of his cheek and nodded; it felt like you were lying to him, but he had no proof of that at the end of the day. "Well I wanted to say sorry anyways", he muttered; almost like apologizing was something he rarely did. Maybe that was so.

You heard his apology and your lips twitched into a smile while you were still looking down, "You are?". Dominik nodded but you couldn't see, so he reiterated; "That's what I said". And finally, as if it was a miracle you looked up once again, "Smart ass". He laughs with a big smile that you only had the pleasure of seeing on the big screen. You click your tongue at him and lay your chin on your knees, "So you feel bad huh?", you pester him. Dominik snorts and rolls his eyes, running a hand through his hair, "Just a bit...how can I make it up to you", he says the last bit with hesitance. He has underlying intentions that he couldn't share yet. "What do you have in mind?"

Anyone wanna my 2 cents on Jade Shadows?

Spoilers bellow frens ;3

So, right off the bat (before I put my personal personal thoughts out there), we need to acknowledge the criticism and outright discomfort this quest had.

Some of the criticism this quest got is something I can agree with. Specifically; Jade Shadow's needed more time. 100%. Let them cook, or more importantly, let the story cook and maybe even burn a bit to give us some crispy, smokin hot parts.

The little footnote at the end of the quest saying we have 'more questions than answers'? We get it, you're self-conscious, but that doesn't give you an excuse for not giving me Stalker. PERIOD, BITCH.

Jest aside, srsly, we needed to know more about Jade, Stalker, what happened to them, baby Orion (Halo possessed me in that moment, iykyk), etc. People needed to get invested in the characters, especially because this is a quest so close to being like Sacrifice on its level of storytelling...

Had it been able to have just 30+ minutes longer.

Onto the 2nd part of the criticism, birthing sim:

I'll be honest, as someone who was thinking of even going into being a midwifery/allied health, it didn't freak me out as much as it did others. But that's just one side of it. The other is how people say Jade's agency was ignored.

I'll be honest, this is just wrong. It's not media illiteracy by any means, but rather pure ignorance. Why?

Because her agency is declared.

When?

"... you're going to be a father." OH, and the fact she literally wanted the baby. There are plenty of people who can explain it better than that, and whilst I acknowledge people may feel this way, this was, in fact, not what happened.

Also, this quest is not pro-life, nor is it anything related to that. If it was, I assure you, you would have a majority of the fan base up and walk. Take a chill pill. If you want to attack something for being pro-life, go help out at an abortion clinic with crowd control or smth. Because once you see that, you'll understand just how wrong you are.

It's not subtle.

It's not in between the lines.

It doesn't exist.

The end. Period. Fullstop.

The criticism is fair, but going so far as to say those are the undertones is just not on. Not only are you lying about something, but you are also disrespecting the very real women whom have had their agency denied in one way or another.

Now, that's not the only criticism about it, but those are just a few things you may see floating on tumblr. Again, both are ok and fair. But when you start to spread lies or ignore what actually happened, you're part of the problem, not the solution.

Now, onto the fun stuff!

Imo, aside from what was stated before, the quest was actually pretty fun and interesting. The pair make an interesting concept, especially now with the lil fugly bean, which has stolen a place in my cold, brainrotted heart. I think I like the Corpus Cap the most- pls marry me, pls. Oh, an Hunhow? Let me hug him. Let me give him a home on my ships. Let me tell him he can be my bestie!!!

Back to Stalker, though, I really hope we see more of him, especially now he's git a VA.

Speaking of, homie didn't get to speak often, but God did it hit home when he did. You can feel how desperate he is, then when he gets his answers, how lost he is. Finally, resolution and love ehen he names his lil kid at the end.

Music was on point, too. I can't listen to it tho bc Ik ima be sobbing lol. It was so beautiful!!!!!!!

Lorewise, however, I have so many fucking questions, but in the funny haha/good way.

Was jade pregnant b4 being a wf? If not, Stalker...

Why was their relationship shamed upon? Was Jade a Dax and him, well, him? Or was it because they weren't married? What was it that made the Orokin make em into Warframes? Also, Ballas, man, we know your hypocritical ass is in this shit too.

Also, Umbra and Helminth are confirmed to roam around the Orbiter, and vc Umbra is my main, this is a personal achievement. Now let us see it happen, and I'll be DE's 4 life.

But seriously, TL;DR:

Jade Shadow's was a good quest, it just needed to cook slightly longer. And, until we get more Umbra x Stalker from DE (bros b4 all), I'll be on AO3 in 3 (maybe 4) tags.

OC-tober day 2 - New OC

Ugh, i did some digital adjustments to it, minimal stuff such as lighting correction and a leg that was too short xd yeah i'm still learning how to ink😅

Anyways, for day 2 i drew Lola. I'm a huge HSR fan and i wanted to make a fandom oc for once lol as lately all my ocs have been entirely original or deoncelerized (so again turned fully original.) She has a fully orginal story that i created using the pre-existing HSR in-universe logic and lore to worldbuild her own "planet", culture and other stuff like that. I'm still working on it as i'm very nitpicky but i do like the direction it's going.

1002, France

Kassandra found herself in a strange new land, alongside her siblings. The reason why they fled was because they were running from their father. Now, they were impersonating 6 noblemen and women. 

Very quickly the Count's children, Aurora and Tristan, became interested in her family. She mostly kept to herself; she was more interested in learning their language. She chose to ignore the growing attraction between Klaus and Aurora.

Soon enough, the De Martels found out their secret. Aurora didn't seem to care and was determined to become a vampire like them. As far as they knew they couldn't turn anyone. After a crazy chain of events and accidents, the Mikaelsons learned they could pass their curse to other people. 

After creating the Trinity, the Mikaelsons fled to Normandy, once again under the disguise of nobility. One night, a great feast was held in honor of the ruling Count's birthday. Kassandra wasn't the biggest fan of these balls. They were loud, rowdy, and worse of all there were many, many people. Her new instilled bloodlust didn't help her anxiety.

She quietly left the Great Hall, careful not to catch her siblings's attention, and escaped into the large gardens behind the castle. On her way out, a pair of hands grabbed her and pushed her into a dark corridor. Quickly coming to her senses, she sprang into defense and slammed the person into the wall. She instinctively hissed at them, baring her fangs. 

"Kassandra! It's me! Axel!" The person croaked and the sound of her native tongue reached her ears. 

"...Axel?" 

Focusing on her supernatural vision, she realized it was him! Instantly, she released him and started apologizing profusely. 

"...What? How...How are you here? I-I thought you died!"

"No, my love. I'm alive and well, as you can see. I'm here for you."

"Me?"

Axel explained how he sailed across the ocean and reached the Old World. He told her of his plan to sail to England and asked her to come with him so they could be free and start a new life in London. 

Kassandra wanted nothing more than to run away with the love of her life, but she knew it wouldn't and couldn't be that easy. On top of all of that was the fact that she was turned into a bloodthirsty monster.

"I'm a monster, Axel. You- You don't want me. I'll just hurt you." She muttered, distancing herself from him. 

"I did not sail across the ocean for you to say no. I know what you and your siblings are. I don't care. It wasn't your fault. I still love you."

He pulled her closer and caressed her face with his fingers. She looked up at him, his brown eyes filled with nothing but honesty. She put her hands on his face and spoke quietly. 

"I can hear your heart drumming in your chest. I can hear your blood flowing through your veins. I hear even the littlest breath you take...All of it drives me mad, makes me want to-"

Before she could finish the sentence he crashed his lips against hers, pulling their bodies together. He held her tightly, afraid of losing her once more. She placed her hand against his chest and could feel his heartbeat picking up. She suppressed the thought in the back of her mind telling her to rip out his throat.

Instead, they advised a plan. Kassandra would, once she found a suitable moment, escape her siblings and join Axel in England. 

"It could be months, it could be years...I'll try my best to run as soon as possible. Just try and stay in London if you can. That way I'll know where you are."

And six months later, exactly to the day, she fled.

1004, Kingdom of Norway

After two years of running from Klaus, they decided to settle down (temporarily) in the capital of Niðaróss. They themselves were Vikings and spoke Old Norse so it wasn't difficult to blend in. In such a big city it was easier for Kassandra's hunts to go unnoticed. She, of course, tried her best to not kill people when feeding, but she did slip up on occasion. Without Elijah to guide her, she didn't have such a tight grip on her urges as she did after a few centuries. 

Speaking of her vampirism, Axel was insistent on becoming immortal himself. Kassandra refused profusely, saying how the hunger was a curse most unimaginable and she didn't want him to suffer such a horrible existence. 

He pointed out that they wouldn't be able to live together if she stayed immortal and he died of old age. He wanted to be with her forever, no matter the cost. In the beginning, Kassie refused, being preoccupied with running away from not just her father but now Klaus as well. But now that they were settled, Axel was once again pushing her to turn him. 

"I want to get married first." She said to him. 

In the chaos of always running and hiding, marriage was put on hold. Now they finally could.

"We shall do it first thing in the morning," He responded with a smile. 

And so they did. 

In the early hours of the next day, they were married in secret by a Viking priestess Kassandra found. 

Their witnesses were the fading stars, the rising sun, the cold wind, the morning dew, the thick fog, the birds on the trees, and unbeknownst to them, the spirit of Kassandra's dead mother. 

Kassandra was near her breaking point. 

With every touch of his fingers, thrust of his hips, kiss of his lips, she was closer and closer to the edge. The lust coursing through her veins only made her hunger worse and she was actively fighting the urge not to butcher her now husband on the spot. 

She wasn't complaining about the position she was currently in, quite the opposite. It's just that, instead of letting herself drown in the pleasure Axel was giving her, she could only think of the ever-growing hunger in her belly. Only her immense love for him was shielding her husband from certain death. 

How could she focus on anything else but on the way his heart wildly beat in his chest, his ragged breaths, the moans of pleasure leaving his throat? He was enjoying this as well, she could tell. Even though this was her first time, she knew he was close to reaching his peak. 

The coil in her belly was dangerously tight and would break at any moment. The pleasure was flowing through her, burning her sweetly. Was love-making supposed to be this good? Were other women getting this much pleasure out of it as well? Did they feel as good as she felt now? She doubted that. One thing she quickly realized about her new state of being was that her feelings were heightened and she felt everything with double the force. 

Maybe that wasn't such a bad thing after all. 

Grabbing her hips, he picked up the pace and pressed her further into the mattress. Most of his body weight was now on her and if she wasn't already (un)dead she might have been scared he would crush her. But she knew that wouldn't happen. 

She grabbed onto his broad shoulders as his thrusts became erratic. She dug her nails into his skin, making him hiss. His face was buried in her hair and the whole of his neck was exposed, inches away from her mouth. She nuzzled her nose into his neck, inhaling the smell of his sweat and blood. The coil inside her tightened painfully and she clenched around him, making him groan. 

It was overwhelming, the amount of things she was feeling. All her senses were heightened and fully engulfed with pleasure. He brought his hand down and rubbed her pearl with his thumb. Her breath hitched and she swore her heart stopped for a second. 

The coil snapped and a guttural moan left her throat as waves of pleasure washed over her. Her legs shook as her mind blanked out, and for a short time, she forgot about her bloodlust. He spilled inside her and with a groan, his arms gave out and he laid on top of her. 

Her fingers found their way toward his head, where she played with his dark curls, now wet with sweat. A bitter thought appeared in her mind - his seed will never take, not in my womb at least. 

Before dying, before her parents turned her into a monster, Kassandra spent days and nights dreaming about how she would give Axel many children. She fantasized about their future sons and daughters and how they would look. None of that mattered now, seeing as her womb was barren and would never carry a child - yet another thing this curse took away from her. 

His soft kisses brought her back to reality. The sound of his heartbeats rang loudly in her ears and her bloodlust resurged.

"Are you alright, my love?" He asked her softly.

She looked back at him, her eyes roaming over his face. Her eyes focused on his neck. The longer she stared, the faster his heart beat. Suddenly, black veins appeared on her cheeks and the whites of her eyes turned red. He couldn't control the gasp that escaped his mouth.

She pushed him away and sat up, turning her back to him. Her breathing was erratic, her shoulders shook as she clawed at her throat. 

"Kassie..."

"I'm hungry." She whispered while covering herself with a woolen robe. She stood up only to falter immediately. Her knees buckled and she cursed under her breath, rubbing her aching thighs. She slowly walked toward the window and opened it, letting in the cold night air. 

"Drink from me."

The words seemed to catch her off-guard. Shaking her head, she fully opened the window, letting the cool air wash over her skin. She gripped the stone framing and inhaled sharply. 

"Why not?" He asked, getting up himself. 

"No, no, no! I'll hurt you, or worse..."

He slowly walked up to her. Her entire frame shook; he didn't know if it was because of the cold or her hunger. 

"My love-" He tried putting his hand on her shoulder but she pushed him away.

"Don't tempt my patience!" She yelled at him, her face dark and terrible as she pushed him against the wall, his back hitting the stone bricks. 

Never before had she yelled at him. Never before had he seen her so furious. She looked wild, ferocious...animalistic. Once she realized she lashed out at him, she recoiled immediately and guilt washed over her. 

"I- I think it would be best if we slept separately tonight." 

"You promised me, Kassandra. You said you would turn me." Axel said, exasperated. 

"I will, on the morrow." She whispered, rubbing her throat once more.

"You said the same thing yesterday."

"I know what I said!" She yelled again, her anger bubbling and fueling her evergrowing hunger. As she approached him, she noticed the white fabric of his robe had a red stain in the area surrounding his shoulder. 

Grabbing onto his robe, she moved the cloth, revealing his shoulder, bloody and wounded. She watched as the droplets of blood rolled down his arm. Axel could only watch as her eyes turned red.

"Kassandra-"

This time she could not stop herself.

The next thing she knew, she was biting Axel's neck and sucking on his throat. His warm blood filled her mouth and its sweet taste made her head dizzy. She gripped his body harder, swallowing more and more of his blood. 

Feeling the need for air she removed her mouth from his neck, moaning in pleasure as the smell of blood filled the room. Her whole body buzzed as the feeling of ecstasy washed over her. But, only when soft groans of pain reached her ears, did she open her eyes.

The junction of his neck had a huge, bleeding bite mark. Axel looked like he was moments away from death. Seeing the lack of color on his face shook Kassandra out of her high. 

"Axel...Oh my- What have I done!?"

Quickly trying to save him, she bit her wrist and forced some of her own blood down his throat. 

"Please, please!" She whispered desperately as she moved his body back on the bed. To keep herself busy and from going insane, she cleaned his body and later the rest of the room while waiting for him to wake up. 

She watched as the wound slowly healed and closed. Kassandra was nervous for Axel to wake up, because, well, she hadn't been completely honest with him. She once told him that to become like her, he would need to drink her blood. She kind of forgot to mention the part about dying. 

She gravely wounded him, yes, but, he didn't die. No, she would need to kill him for the transition to start. And she didn't know if she could do it.

"No...not yet."

He furrowed his brows. "But, I drank your blood. I don't understand."

She finally turned back and looked at him; her face was covered in tears and a look of guilt was on her face. 

"I lost control. I- I knew this would happen sooner or later. I'm sorry." She apologized as she sat down next to him on the bed. She took his hand and held it, refusing to meet his eyes.

He was confused. What was she hiding from him? Why wasn't he turned?  

"What else do I need to do? You promised me eternity, Kassandra. Why are you denying me of eternal love with you?"

Sighing, she shook her head. "It's not that. I want nothing more than to be with you, Axel. But, there will be obstacles and hardships along the way, my family being the first of many."

"I know. But you'll be with me all the way, won't you?"

She finally looked at him and with a soft smile put her hands around his jaw, holding his face. She rubbed her thumbs over his cheeks and then kissed him gently. "Forgive me." 

Her hands tightened around his neck and before he could even ask what she was doing, darkness took over him.

1104, the Caucasus Mountains

The first century of her existence passed by quickly. After a couple of decades, she stopped paying attention to human politics. Kingdoms rose and fell, countries changed their borders but she stayed the same, forever young and cursed to walk this earth with no way to rest and find peace. 

But at least she wasn't alone. 

Axel quickly adapted to his new vampiric nature and way of living. Shortly after turning her husband into a vampire, Kassandra needed to find a witch who was willing to make a daylight ring for him. 

Luckily for her, the village priestess that married them turned out to be a witch. The woman was reluctant at first, not wanting to aid bloodsucking monsters in moving more easily. But Kassandra bargained with her and told her they would leave her village if she did. 

Kassandra was present when her mother enchanted the rings so she knew the words of the spell. She revealed the spell to the witch who in turn spelled the lapis lazuli ring. 

Now armed with a simple silver daylight ring, Axel could move freely in the sun. They used this to their advantage and traveled across the continent. A hundred years later, they were now situated in the Caucasus Mountains, on the edges of the Byzantine Empire. 

They lived in remote mountain villages. Over the years rumors spread of bloodsucking monsters lurking in shadows, ready to snatch unsuspecting travelers and suck them dry. Axel and Kassie were always careful to not kill the people they fed from but over the century they encountered other new vampires who must have been sired by one of her siblings or the Trinity. 

One other thing to note was that Axel and Kassandra were the first known case of the sirebond among vampires. Once he became a vampire, Axel's feelings toward her tripled in intensity and he became fiercely loyal to her. Nothing could come between them. Or so they thought.

May, 1104

"Today was the most splendid day. Axel gifted me with the most beautiful present - wedding rings! Mine even has a blue gem at the top! Today marks 100 years since we made our union official—one hundred years of pure bliss and joy. I pray for an eternity of peace with him by my side. Destiny has so far been kind to the two of us. My siblings were nowhere in sight and I haven't heard from them in decades. I intend to keep it that way."

Kassie finished writing in her diary. She watched as the sapphire sparkled on her finger while she waited for the ink to dry. Axel was out all day. He left early in the morning, in search of people to feed on. Usually, they would feed on the local villagers so Kassie was confused why it took him so long to return. 

After a day, she realized something was wrong. For seven days and seven nights, she searched for him. With her supernatural speed, hearing, and vision she went over the entire valley they lived in. On the eighth day, someone knocked on the door of her little cottage. 

Kassie rushed to the door, hoping and praying it was Axel. But to her utter shock and horror, Niklaus stood in front of her, a smirk on his face. 

"Long time, little sister. I heard you got married. Where is the groom? I much desire to speak with him." 

"...Nik? Wh-what are you doing here?"

He strutted inside, inspecting the little cottage with a frown. He turned to her, paying no mind to her disheveled appearance. 

"You left us, little dove. No words, no letter, nothing...Why?"

Kassandra, who was already exhausted from searching for Axel, was on the brink of collapse. The last thing she needed was Klaus. How did he even find her?

"How did you find us?"

Klaus tsked, cocking his head. "You didn't answer my question, love. Why did you leave us?"

She sighed and pinched her nose. "Because I love him! I promised him we would be together no matter what. So once he found me, we ran away."

"And what about family? Do we matter so little to you?"

She had no energy left to fight with him. She just wanted to find her husband. She thought it was suspicious how shortly after Axel disappeared, her brother showed up at her doorstep. 

"Nik, just tell me what you want and leave. I need to find Axel."

"What I want is for you to come back to us."

"Not without Axel!" She yelled tearfully. 

"He's not coming back, Kassandra! He used you to become immortal and left you!" He yelled back, grabbing her shoulder and shaking her. 

Kassie shook her head, refusing to believe Nik's words. No, that wasn't true. Axel loved her. He truly did. He would never betray her like that. 

"No! He'll come back, I just- I have to keep looking!" 

Yet, a certain part of her had already given up. By now he could be hundreds of miles away. Doubt took over her; what if he really did just use her to become a vampire and get a daylight ring? What if he got tired of her and ran away to be with someone else?

"He used you," Klaus whispered in her ear as she collapsed to the floor.  

The thought was too terrible to imagine. The pain coursing through her was too much for her. A little voice in her mind was whispering to her: 'Shut it down. Close it off.' She gave in, the seams of her already fragile heart breaking and a state of apathy took over her. 

"Kassandra..." Nik called for her. 

She looked up at him, her eyes dead and emotionless. Klaus wasn't sure what happened but one thing he knew - he could use his sister's newfound apathy to his advantage. And boy, did he take advantage of it.

A/N - Leo Suter is BAE, how was I not supposed to choose him as my fancast for Axel. Also, him playing a Viking helps so much with fitting him into the story cause obviously the Originals are also Vikings.

-after he finally finished his long ass paragraph, he asked one last question.

Hello I’m Dino! I wanted to make an introduction post for my tumblr since I decided I wanted to start posting to motivate myself and others! I thought it would be nice to list my personal goals, interests, etc. :)

also pls ignore any grammar issues I don’t feel like putting this through Grammarly :,)

Goals

Work towards a 4.5 gpa: I have currently maintained a 4.2 gpa for this school year I wish it was 4.5, but I have 2 b’s :( So I’m going to work towards a 4.5 for this last quarter and senior year!

Become a better speaker: My ultimate career is to be a lawyer! With that comes working to be a better speaker. I get quite nervous when it comes to taking to a large group of people and start to talk fast. On top of this at my mock trial meet I messed up my direct horribly because of how nervous I was to talk in front of the judge and jury :,)

Get best lawyer during Mock Trial Comp: I won best attorney this year, but I don’t think I deserved it…I want to be more confident in my win this time around!

4 or 5 on AP Exams: I want to get a 4 or 5 on both my AP Lang and APUSH Exams in May! I need to study and practice hard though, but I’m willing to put the hard work in ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ

Practice flute more often: I play the flute for my schools band and while I have only been playing for 7 months now I have to keep up with people who have been playing for 5+ years :,) With that I want to practice more to keep up and for my personal interest of just becoming more skilled with the flute!

Turing in homework on time: I have made a bad habit of turning my homework in late which is so bad oml I need to get out of it

Exercise: I want to start working out regularly to lose some weight :) While I’m at a healthy weight I just want to lose a few pounds for aesthetic purposes, but in a healthy manner!

Love myself more: I forget to remind myself that I have gotten so far and I have evolved over the years. I want to make sure that I know that I’m worthy of love even when I’m at my lowest.

Interests

Music: I’m a big fan of all genres (even some country songs too) but I’m a big listener of k-pop! But here is a list of my favorite groups + musicians: Red Velvet, Melanie Martinez, Laufey, Idelwork, Frank Sinatra, NMIXX, Ive, Megan Thee Stallion, Flo Milli, Poppy, Lesserafim, Aespa, Newjeans, Infinity Song, Kiss of Life, and many more!

Media: I’m not going to list every kind of media I’m into but here is a small taste! Big fan of ARGs, Indie Horror games (puppet combo specifically), Mascot Horror games (FNAF + Poppy Playtime), Anime (although I haven’t watched anything recently, but my fave is TBHK), K-dramas and Thai-dramas, YouTube video essays (TRO, iNabber, Primik, Stephanie Soo), Cartoons (Owl House, Gravity Falls, Amphibia, MLP, stuff like that), RPG + Dating Sim games (Shooter game HATER here), Sitcoms, Snoopy/Peanuts, Miraculous Ladybug (biggest MariChat lvr) Twisted Wonderland (Azul my love) and a BUNCH more things I’m into, but I’m not going to list them all like I said :,)

Hobbies: Doing my nails, playing my flute, writing fanfics (don’t judge I BEGGG), reading (pls recommend books for me to read, I love the classics too), deco (for my photo cards and notebooks lol), and makeup!

I think that should suffice for my introduction, though it looks a bit long…I’m a blabber could you tell?
