AEW just fired Punk

and given the reports on the neutral source and most likely corroborating footage, yeah, I think that's the right call.

I like Punk in the ring, but while once is forgivable, twice in the same year is unacceptable, and the company should hold Punk accountable for his actions, and his quick rise to physicality, with especial scrutiny considering last time. When he was dismissing people including the Head of Talent Relations on Collision people were saying Khan should 'act like a boss' and hold Punk accountable, so I would hope (but at the same time slightly doubt that all of them will) those same people will appreciate Khan doing this, acting like a boss and holding Punk accountable, especially on the tough call that this is.

And it is a tough, ballsy as fuck call to make. But this is the hand that has been forced into play.
