1: Bare Basics

the tagline. the who when what where why. why are u writing this fanfic. for me its the Talking: i want my angel and demon to talk about Feelings, so im gonna make them talk about FEELINGS. this is personal fulfillment. it might take a while to get there, but i want them to TALK. for you, i suppose would be for ford and michael to meet and go on whimscal adventures. basics!

2: How To Get There

so how are we making aziraphale and crowley talk. how are we getting ford and michael afton smushed together in the multiverse. you, of course, have told me how that works. now is it important enought to flesh that out before the rest or just needs to be explained in a quick flashback? your pick, but since my topic is so vague, i definitely need context before it. that, my friend, is up to you. nothing much more to it. if u dont know how to start a fic, just explain how we got to what's intriguing about it (the crossover :))

3: Notes.

now is where the process BEGINS. what happens in the story. i usually start with miscellanous bullet points--everything i want to happen, no matter the order it'll happen, in a little page. here's a picture of one of my pages ib my notebook, with things i want to happen in my titanic fic (handwriting reveal?!??!) (TEA, IF UR READING THIS SOMEHOW, DONT LOOK AT THE IMAGES🫵🫵🫵) (SORY FOR HURRIED SCRIBLES, I WAS TRYNA REMEMBER IT ALL)

there's literally no order. just stuff that need to be there, there. even if its as simple as the au coming to fruition, or even just one conversation, PUT IT THERE. its all the appeal. what you're doing this for. dontforget....

4: Outlines

now, before i tell you how to do this, there really isn't a way. here's a picture of my timeline for the fic mentioned earlier (not the titanic fic) (TEA AND OTHER READERS OF THE SERIES, ALSO DO NOT LOOK TYYYY ❤️❤️)

see? complicated as fuck. it doesnt have to be that way tho, obviously: each chapter or one shot could be as simple as "michael is fucking ZAPPED, and meets ford" it just has to be something to work with. (i, on the other hand, need extensive help. so. there's the thing above. theres eve more its just online)

there really isn't too much other than that in the planning department. understand why you're doing it, know how to get there, and PLAN. detail it out. idk if this is an adequet explanation actually. if u need more specifics i can try again, but is what i got. do what works for you, work at ur pace, and such like. it doesnt have to be at this level, or even close. have fucking fun, dude. if u need morehelp, pls ask, or even consult blogs that help out specifcally for that stuff. Ok, I need to come clean. I have not been watching dhmis since it came out.....I found it a few months ago from a YouTube video from one of my favorite channels Dead Meat. If ya know, ya know. But no, I didn't take his advice and not spoil the entire show by watching the episodes. I watched his video! I then immediately sped to the channel and watched all of the episodes. I then started a hyperfixation!

I called a friend who I'll call V. She was absolutely horrified! Yay! I love scaring my friends! then I went to YouTube to try soothing my fixation on murderous British puppets. I found a YouTube channel called L is Weegee. He was a channel that did dubs and FNAF product reviews and let me say, I love this Channel. He did some dhmis dubs, and one of them caught my eye. A comic called @sketchbook-and-tony-adventures aka Adventures in lurning! I watched all of the twenty videos instead of going to bed! And let me say, that blog is absolutely amazing! The reason I @ them was so y'all could find them. Their work is amazing. Also, watch L is Weegees dub of it. And his other dhmis dubs. He's great.

Anyway, what were we talking about? Right! Dhmis. Halloween and the FNAF movie was coming up, I made a Micheal Afton cosplay for the movie premiere and a red guy costume for V's Halloween party! I came early and her roommate let me hide in her closet to scare the shit out of her! Yay! But after the party, I got into the ship digitaltime. This ship is everything to me. I was googling it, but it kept recommending me this story on an app I had never heard of called Wattpad. I clicked it and now I am an author on Wattpad! The story though......t-tony got pregnant...s-somehow? Like I know what impreg is, but with a clock? I have questions! personality:

almost a typical delinquent, jotaro has a knack for violence in situations where it’s more of a potential answer as opposed to the only answer. that doesn’t mean he doesn’t it for fun though, far from it: he just knows he’s really good at kicking the shit out of people that deserve it and makes use of that.

he comes off as aloof due to keeping things short and is generally seen as a bit callous because of it. jotaro’s sure whatever expressions and words he gives are enough to read him entirely and thinks it’s a waste to put more effort in it.

beneath that though is someone who has a gentler approach with those he cares about and has a deep sense of loyalty when it comes to them. he’s perceptive and intelligent, able to get the drop on his enemies whether it’s through a regular method or by managing a slightly off-the-walls plan with his quick wit.

history / background:

jotaro was raised like any normal child in 1970s japan would be. he was a polite boy, did plenty of activities, completed his classes…

… until he took a left turn into delinquency. it’s unclear when he suddenly gained an attitude that made it look like he hates the world and everyone around him, but it came as a pretty big shock to his mother. people could theorize all they want about him; that his father never being around led to a lack of discipline, that his mother was a delinquent as a teenager and that passed on to her son, that he’s a spoiled brat, any sort of things.

jotaro never puts any stock in it. who cares, really? it’s none of their damn business why he is the way he is. that’s not what he gives a shit about.

he does give an immense amount of fucks about the evil spirit haunting him now. menacing and at his beck and call, jotaro isolates himself in a jail cell and–

… that’s the beginning of an incredibly bizarre adventure. a family curse, stands, some fucker named DIO, and his mother has fallen ill–

jotaro would love to not give a shit. it’s hard not to when the only consistent person in your life is at risk of dying from something you barely understand. without hesitation, and with multiple new companions along for the ride, the group makes their way to egypt to vanquish DIO once and for all.

naturally this comes with its own set of issues. traveling there is a nightmare (what with a stand user deciding to mess with them almost every day) but eventually they make it! the prize at the end of the battle?

three dead friends and a lifetime of trauma that he isn’t in the mood to unpack.

it’s been a couple of years now since the 50 day trip to egypt happened. jotaro’s graduated from high school, his mother is in perfect health, he gets phone calls from his grandpa and postcards from polnareff, and life could be worse.

powers / abilities:

STAND. the term in the jjba universe for the manifestation of one’s “life energy” or the individual’s innate fighting spirit that can extend to representing the user’s psyche. the range of abilities and appearances is wide, allowing for all stand users to be unique in how they work.

star platinum. a close-range power type stand. one of the most powerful in the series to date, it has exceptional speed, strength, and precision. while its general range is about 2 meters from jotaro, some attacks can extend further. 

the world. upon the realization that his stand is similar to DIO’s, star platinum gained the ability to stop time for up to five seconds. extremely helpful in some situations but the mental toll of this is uh… hm.

inherent abilities:

maybe a stand would in theory be inherent because it’s in his bloodline now but. whatever. i’m leaving it like that because i wanted to take it from him briefly i hope that helps.

What I have in mind, is a fully fleshed out alternate ending for the canon ending to Security Breach. We see nothing of what happened to Vanny, aka Vanessa afterwards, and it is implied that she survived, escaped, or other theories, because the mask in the ruin DLC is NOT the same as Vanny's mask, because for starters, the most obvious difference is the fact that the color patch on the mask is brown in the Ruin DLC, when Vanny's is a slightly darker gray. the other difference, is that Vanny's "mask" is more along the line of a mascot head, in that it wraps around her entire head, you can't see her hair from the back, like you would 100% be able to see Cassie's when she puts on her mask, because it's just for her face. Anyway, my point is, I like to believe that during the fire, Vanny got her head hit by some debris, knocking off her mask, that combined with the intense heat and chaos around her, just might have been enough to essentially...destroy the Gllitchtrap virus in her mind. She remembers everything that has happened to her, but is fully in control of her actions now. She doesn't have time to have a crisis, she needs to get out of the fire. She focuses on that, however along the way, she finds the other animatronics, destroyed, and now that Burntrap is no longer able to control them because he's dead-dead, alongside the fire frying anything left of their virus, they are left to wander, afraid and confused in the flames. Vanessa doesn't have time to save them all, however she manages to get the DJ out of his arcade where he would have been trapped, with minimal damage. With this in mind, once the flames and the Press have their fun with the building, knowing Fazbear Corporation, they'll shut the place down, and slowly, gradually rebuild the Plex, though knowing how poor the management is, it'll take them years. Which is perfect, because that gives Vanessa time to plan with DJ on getting any remaining animatronics out of the burned down Pizza Plex, scavenge for any spare parts and possibly some animatronics who were left behind. Vanessa was only approved into the company, is because her uncle, was William Afton himself. When William's youngest son and daughter died, and he was certain Michael wouldn't want to take over the company, he promised Vanessa that she would own a significant part of the company when he was gone. That deal is still on, because she has the official documents and papers proving it. She just let the company have it's fun because she wasn't in her right mind...now she is. And with her knowledge of building and repairing animatronics, she's going to start over. She's going to FIX what her uncle broke.

This is practically canon, but Jane adores make-up.  As a vampire, she can see the slight variation in shades between different products, which is why she has needs fourteen eyeliners.  She has built up quite the arsenal over the years.  However, as an eternal thirteen-year-old, she also firmly believes that people need to be able to see that one is wearing make-up.  The end product is artfully done and, uh, bold.

Alec

To some (*cough* Caius *cough*), the advancement of technology is a nightmare.  Alec gets that, but still, video games are one of humanity’s greatest creations.  Dream come true.  He likes games like “Dead By Daylight”, but also peruses Roblox when bored.  (He can sometimes convince Jane to play Minecraft with him, but she usually quits out of frustration half an hour later because she’s trying to build a house for them and survive but Alec just wants to kill an enderman.  It’s fine, Jane, I’ll grab some food too.  Maybe.)

Jane & Alec

Jane and Alec will go people watching sometimes, sitting in parks and walking along sidewalks on cloudy days, guessing where a person’s going and imagining grand adventures and scenarios for every stranger they pass.  (The bag says grocery store, but the coat screams pirate.)  Some days it’s fun... and sometimes it makes them remember what they’ll never be.

Felix

Felix does stand-up comedy.  He has performed routines for the coven.  He will perform his routines for other covens one day, except according to Athenodora and Heidi, it would be a diplomatic disaster and they’d lose their allies.  Demetri reassures him that he’s heard worse.

What screams "Felix" more than chainsaw carving? He started with basic shapes, like trees, (he claims it was a tree, it was more of a lopsided cone thing), but has progressed to animals at this point.  (It’s a great focusing exercise, and a way to work on controlling his strength.  Also, tree-shark.)

Demetri

(These aren’t casual, but neither is Demetri. Also, I headcanon him as an adrenaline junkie... so here you go.)

Demetri craves a good storm. Most of time, it's thunderstorms, but occasionally he's nearby when a tornado touches down. And that one time he witnessed a tropical cyclone.  Because what is the point of being immortal if you don’t constantly test it?

(Background: awkward get-to-know your classmates questions.  “What would you do if you were immortal for a day?”  Top answer: skydiving.  Demetri is now into skydiving.)  He doesn’t technically need a parachute, but the possibility of creating a crater upon landing is apparently a secrecy threat.

Afton

Afton picked it up accidentally (he scratched at a random branch out of boredom while on patrol and it sort-of looked like a bird), and now he’s into whittling.  (Does he use a pocket knife... or does he use his fingernails?  Either or.)  Chelsea will be getting many rough, but lovingly made, wooden ducks.

Afton has a Sudoku app on his phone.  He does a daily puzzle studiously and feels a sense of accomplishment every time he sees his streak.  Also, the little thrill he gets when he lowers his puzzle-solving time is addicting.
