First off; William and Renata are NOT a toxic relationship in my AU, because they are a husband and wife that really love each other, they both bring hope to one another (And they weren't allowed to love, but they ran away from home and started a life together). I really don't like the idea of them hating each other or having an unhealthy relationship, but I do understand where people would say "How could she love him after he murdered kids?" Though Rena is never going to actually forgive Will for murdering children, she still understands that he was psychotic and mentally ill due to terrible frustration in his complicated life (before reunion AU btw) When they met again with remnant fueling their immortality, Rena couldn't speak to Will for days, until eventually. Rena was also still a bit anxious to trust William and she will stay like that forever, but she still loves him but worries a lot about what he does. (I hope that makes sense, lmao.)

Second; Just because Goldbox (who originally created the ship) makes it toxic, doesn't mean I should too, there are plenty of others who ship these two without making it toxic that I know of. I don't make it toxic because not every relationship has to be like that.

Third; There's something called an "Alternative Universe" where you can make anything different, and I for one have a lot of adjustments to this universe to make it fun and entertaining but also (try to make it) canonically logical for the actual FNAF/Afton family lore.

That's all I'm gonna say, because these questions are kinda annoying tbh

About time I make my own design of the Aftons and Emilys (wink wink)

Just a small note to clear things up though, my design for the Aftons are from the year 1982 while the Emilys are from before then, because in my personal HC Charlie was killed by William in 1977 when she was 10. she was the same age as Mike by then (and they were best friends too..). Henry looked pretty much the same by 1982 although, more depressed after Charlie's death.

Facts:

William and Renata are in a romantic husband-wife relationship and they often try to avoid problems and arguments with one another. And they dated each other in high school/college. (Rena's parent didn't approve of their relationship; so they ran away and moved to Hurricane, Utah together to start a family.)

Elizabeth gets her hair and eye color from her grandmother (William's side) so that's why she looks like she's a redhead but she's not really one, more of a copper color. (We learned that it's possible to inherit grandparent's genes in Science this year.)

Isabelle Afton is not Brandy, but a more different version of her and she is actually William's child. Her death is still being decided but she died from an animatronic accident. (Purple Bonnie)

All members of the Afton family are all biologically (blood) related, no adopted, no parents having any affair or cheating on each other, or any stuff like that.

The Aftons are mixed = Mexican/Italian American (yea yea, I know that they are "British" in the canon version, but in my universe the Emily Family is British American. The Aftons are Hispanic European American.) I just find it better that way. Maybe William's British accent was fake lol

Crying child is named Chris since the other names for him are not really what I think of, and Chris is obviously older than Elizabeth and Isabelle.

Here are the birth years of the Aftons (hopefully logical I tried my best doing the fricking math and I still don't know if this makes sense, if its not then whatever man) 😀

fck the canon lore really. This shit fr makes feel abnormal amount of grief over fcking fictional pixelated children. I VITALLY need my babies alive and happy well not entirely but at least alive. Gonna use that AU as my haven where Evan is not tormented and is being protected instead like a precious baby he is, Michael despite his tough guy persona being a overprotective older brother, and Elizabeth fangirling over Circus baby (bcs animatronics aren’t murderers here) and is in general a sweet considerate little girl ( ˊ̱˂˃ˋ̱ )

Though I made a big brain move here. All the deaths( I mean Aftons) that happened in games are just trauma-related nightmares in this au. Animatronics are normal in real world, but are murderous in nightmares

✦ I mean bite of 83 is something Evan could theoretically see in dream because of his fear of animatronics and separation anxiety after losing his mom

✦ William, apart of his untreated/undiagnosed bipolar disorder with severe manic episodes, has PTSD after springlock incident and it haunts him even in his dreams

✦ Michael may be the one with most nightmares because he’s scared of losing his family. Like my guy has his parents divorced, Charlotte whom he treated like his sister suddenly dying which amplified his protectiveness towards Evan and Elizabeth out of intense fear to lose them too, then his mom disappearing the exact same way, his dad being mentally unstable and denying it, and two little siblings he’s hella protective of and has to look after. Not to mention school and peers problems. It fucked him up a lot and he’s only 15. His nightmares are result of his severe stress and trauma
