Thinking about. How both wataru and eichi didnt really have much experience with interacting with peers? Eichi had keito and then spent the rest of the time consuming media alone in hospital beds (which led to him seeing wataru on tv...). Wataru, well, you know, it's hard for people to reach and understand him. But he too loves spending quiet nights at home watching and getting lost in films (phantom thieves epilogue my beloved) Theyre both Like This because they learned human interaction from fiction mostly. Theyre perfect for each other i love wataei^_^

I think the thing that gets me the most about what we "know" (taken with a grain of salt" of Watarus childhood is that it wasn't even just the kids that ostracised him I'm fairly sure it was said that the adults would blame him for every little thing that went wrong in their neighborhood like he's a black cat or whatever else bad omina there are and we know he was already somewhat famous as a child because else you wouldn't land tv gigs (I know I know my logic is once again astounding) but???? To which degree???? Famous enough to land tv gigs but also famous enough to get recognized on the street? Who knows. I certainly don't. Nobody does. Where is my Wataru lore happyele. And Eichi. My dear dear Eichi. Do you ever think about how he probably never would've thought he'd have the things he has now when he was a sick child stuck in a hospital room planning his own funeral with his best (only) friend. Those visits from Keito must've meant so much to him and. I am so normal about wataei btw have you noticed yet. anyway back to the point the point being that it's really nice to see where they are now compared to where they were once just heartwarming really <333

Owl House is a surprisingly dark show but still very much kid appropriate. I think the themes about grief and self harm as well as like. exploring topics like ableism, religion, death, and abuse is really neat.

I do think it'll be funny in five to ten years when people who were lil while watching the show revisit it later and are like WHat the fuck did I watch about certain things tho, because I really didn't pick up on the Vibes with Terra and Raine or like some of the nuances and I was already 19 when the show started coming out HAUIH.
