Dear Nextdoor,
I was resubscribed, for some terrible reason unknown to me, to emails from this site, an unparalleled locus of poorly-concealed racism, unleashed dogs, missing outdoor cats (surely unrelated), and unabashed classist bullying of the homeless for being unsightly and making people mildly uncomfortable for the minute and a half they are trapped one car behind the stoplight.
I'm not sure why this has happened.
Imagine my dismay when I discovered that in order to be certain I had removed myself from all email notifications, I had to go deep into settings and remove myself from each sub-subcategory individually. There were so many. I fear, even now, that I missed one, and coming to the site to turn one off seemed to reactivate all the others. (If deliberate, an extremely insidious and clever tactic.)
A single button which, when pressed, would end this piecemeal torment would suffice.
I would deactivate my account entirely but A) I want to find out approximately where the Cybertruck owner near me lives so I can find it, drive by, and laugh at it instead of simply hoping to spot it in the parking lot of Dick's Sporting Goods, and B) I don't want to lose track of the lovely interactions I have had here, including the people who told me that the Bible bids us to let homeless people starve, and the ones who said that their free-roaming pets' testicles were so important to God's plan that they should not be removed, lest His intent for all creatures to go forth, multiply, and die on the side of the highway be foiled. I mean, where else do you get to see something like that? Aside from, I suppose, every other social media site at this point. That's where we are as a society.
"But wait!" I hear the leering specter of user retention croon. "This site does offer something special: you get to know these people live near you!"
I do not want that.
Anyway, I wanted to let you know that having to do it all bit by bit was completely unnecessary and felt deeply insulting in some way, as if my ability to know whether or not a given site is a festering cesspit dedicated to the squabblings of a loudly mediocre populace (that would probably gladly fling their own goopy white dogs under the bus in pursuit of a world without bitchy gays like me, were there any public transportation here worth mentioning) were being called into question.
Maybe give people a single button to press to revoke their consent to receive updates on the horrendous cavalcade of human folly. That would be better than making me think about it for almost two minutes during which I could have been showing people on Bluesky pictures of my cat, who eats soap.
I'm not denying the site must be useful for some, but it really is a terrible thing. Probably because of where I live, but I can't help that part.
Be well, anonymous stranger. None of this is your personal fault. Please tell those above you that the email tickyboxes are the internet equivalent of those spikes that prevent perfectly nice birds from landing on beige buildings.
Thank you for allowing me to procrastinate at you.
-- A perfectly normal individual who would never vaguepost about anyone's lawn.

Big Long One.. (1st of June)
Starting to feel really comfortable after the last entry with packing a broader scope of current happenings, so this might be a scatterbrain post.
First of all, I got salmonella poising nearly a week ago. God was it the worst thing I’ve been through in a long while, maybe so far and if so - how lucky I’ve been health wise to not get that ill despite every good reason I should be with my history of poor health.
I’ve been terrible at dealing with being sick, I just can never let myself rest but man - this changed that. I listened to Georgia for good instead of my stupid idea that of like ‘curry will flush it out.’ I mean I had a bowl of 2 minute noodles and the salmonella got twice as intense for the remaining days after that!
Horrid!
Somehow I had a good hour to sit down and finally get my ADHD assessment report and it came back exactly as expected plus a little more. It really got me thinking about how much I gotta or want to grab the reigns of my life by the balls. It also - and maybe this was just simply because I was sick and unable to do anything - made me realise what’s fat and what matters.
I love doing music, art around it, some videos (when un-forced). But I hate this feeling you gotta put out singles. I shared Plain Gold Ring cuz it’s a one off song, a cover right. But Rampage? It’s pretty frustrating how out of context it feels, also the fact I put effort into emails and press relations because I feel I’m supposed to do that and nothing comes back. Now there’s no harm in trying, but I think people can severely misunderstand - sometimes people don’t care. People meaning us - we don’t care if someone shared it, posted it or whatever. In fact, I don’t care about the purpose of singles, I care about the big result being the album. I know that sounds like grumpy is jealous cuz their song didn’t get picked up, but no - I know there’s not a fish hook on this entire record and that’s certainly not the point.
From here on, I think I’m unsubscribing a lot from the box that every joe says you gotta play inside cuz - my god - is there a lot of everyone saying that’s all that really matters, but just No on so many levels. When it’s sapping energy that would be far more beneficial spent else where - hell no.
Lastly, I would love to know why anybody not currently residing in America - would want to move and live in America. That country is an absolute mess of unresolved history and like the greatest con job of all time that somehow still cons thousands of people on a daily basis. Of course this stems about from poor George Lloyd. Their politics have so quickly boiled into a celebrity personality contest almost like RuPaul’s Dragrace, and even she can’t shake the capitalist greedy smell off her either with that fracking scandel. I mean, I’m here concerned about how much a blind eye Australians are developing in benefit of the Liberal Party to scoop cash for their pockets by funnelling it into mining, even side projects like the Sports Rorts scandel but at-least I genuinely feel hopeful about the future here. America was far gone a long time ago, dragging their history like a dead corpse and raising it like an ideal for living. They have never moved on, and when they tried - so many strings behind the scenes come into play to stop even the best from breaking so many centuries-long-overdue changes.
And I say this because I know people who’ve wanted to live there, artists I’ve followed over the years and at-least one personal account. Honestly, I think they are stupid, very naive and driven by the con job of grandeur and greed that they aren’t achieving enough with their current career or need to fit in the culture. Somehow the Americans who brunt the worst as a result of its backwards ways even hold a loyalty to their country, and I just wonder why? Escape may not be an option which it isn’t for many and most - thus their only reality, but for outsiders - there is more to life than making connections, big names and ‘Breaking America!’ whilst supporting a country that’s happy to let a literal majority of its people live in perpetual debt, gatekeeper healthcare (which somehow many defend!) and tells them they’re on their own on rainy days. Most of all, I’m mostly frustrated when Australian’s care more and get their snickers in a knot about American politics when if they’re not careful, Australia could definately become that in our lifetime if they don’t get their priorities sorted and realise the real danger of being distracted by world news vs local news because we share much of all the same issues than America from our history of slavery leading to an undercurrent of racism and segregation of the real Australians to how we let the Liberal Party continually con votes and lazily manage what matters while milking all they can for what its worth.
Yours truly,
Alex

How Time Management Can Help You Avoid Burnout
January 28, 2020 9 min read
Opinions expressed by Entrepreneur contributors are their own.
After all, Burnout can cause you to fall behind in your work, miss deadlines and deliver subpar work. You may even experience procrastination, become disengaged and hit a wall creatively. Even more troublesome, burnout can put a strain on your personal relationships, give you a lousy reputation professionally and put your health in jeopardy. Here is how time management can help you avoid burnout.
What exactly causes burnout?
The answer to what causes burnout can vary from person to person. For example, working in a toxic environment is a factor. If you’re being bullied, harassed or mismanaged frequently, then, of course, you’re going to be in a state of physical, emotional and mental exhaustion.
Other causes of burnout can be not having clear expectations or being recognized for your work. But, most often, burnout is the result of poor time management.
Think about it. Causes like focusing primarily on low-stimulating tasks, tackling excessive to-do-lists and overcommitting can all be resolved by managing your time more effectively. The same is true of factors like working in a chaotic work environment, responding to emails 24/7 and feeling like you never have a second to yourself.
Will time management solve all of your problems? Of course not. But, managing your time is an excellent start if you want to avoid the wrath and inertia of burnout.
Know your limitations.
Sometimes there’s an unhealthy obsession with workaholics like we seem to see in Elon Musk. Regardless of how you personally feel about him, he has done some good, like popularizing time blocking. However, working something like 60 to 80 hours per week is just insanity.
In case you haven’t gotten the memo yet, you’re not a robot. You don’t possess superpowers that make you impervious to fatigue. You’re a human being who needs time to rest and recharge.
With the robot in mind: Do you know how much you can realistically get done in a day? Do you know when you’re reaching your breaking point? Do you have strategies ready for avoiding a breaking point? For instance, if you’re already at full capacity for the day, week or even month, do you understand that you can turn down incoming time requests (and likely should turn extra time constraints down)? When you’re off the clock, have you chosen ways to enjoy your downtime?
Prioritize your time.
Take a close look at everything you have to do. While everything may seem significant, the fact is, you’re dedicating a lot of time and energy to the wrong areas. As a result, you end up focusing on things that are tedious or less meaningful.
To counter the time-sucks of less essential tasks, you learn to prioritize your time. One of the easiest ways to do calculate timeframes would be making it a point to focus on no more than three things that you want to complete today. Ideally, these should be tasks that have a purpose or will push you closer to achieving a goal.
Of course, that strategy doesn’t work for everyone. Luckily, there are several ways to prioritize your time. Something that works right now, may not work later, so you’ll always keep a lookout for beneficial ways to prioritize your time. Examples would include setting SMART goals, using a priority matrix and following the 80/20 rule.
Align your energy levels with the work you’re doing.
Find out what your specific ultradian rhythms are. Ultradian rhythms are biological cycles that occur throughout a 24-hour day. Biological cycles may not mean much to you. But, they do play an essential role in the ebb and flow of your energy throughout the day.
The ultradian rhythms mean you can focus for an hour on a task before taking a break, and they can help you plan your day for maximum productivity.
You should work on your most important or challenging tasks when you have the most energy. During energy lulls, take a break or focus on less critical objectives. It’s a more effective technique to knock out your most vital work when you’re not fighting against yourself when you’re fresh. Have you ever tried working when you’re exhausted? It’s more time-consuming and you make more errors.
Learn to delegate.
Remember when you were figuring out how to prioritize your time? I’m sure that you came across items that were important but not necessarily deserving of your time. Instead of trying to figure out how to fit these responsibilities into your schedule, assign them to someone else.
Now, this doesn’t mean passing off all of your obligations to someone else. Delegating is knowing which tasks should be worked on by the right person. Here are some common examples of daily tasks that should be delegated:
You’ll be surprised at how much more free time and less stress you’ll have when you delegate some of your less exciting tasks, and it’s the simple way to reduce your workload.
Practice the KonMari method.
Become more familiar with Marie Kondo. She’s an organizing consultant who is known for her own organizational methods. Appropriately dubbed the KonMari method, Kondo has you ask if something sparks joy. There are a lot of gifs and jokes about sparking joy, but it’s a great idea when you need to narrow down options and tune into things that will excite you.
Usually, sparking joy is applied to keeping your home or workspace free of clutter. For example, if a piece of clothing or furniture doesn’t bring you joy, then either throw it away or donate it. By keeping your life simple and organized, you’ll be less stressed.
The same concept can also be used to help prevent burnout. Go back through your list. What items don’t you enjoy doing? Does any list contain things that aren’t necessary? If so, delegate or delete them from your daily schedule.
You should also use this method to keep your digital life in order. That means if a newsletter no longer serves a purpose, unsubscribe from it to keep your inbox less overstuffed. If a social media account only makes you more anxious and distracted, delete the account.
Track your interruptions.
I track my interruptions a couple of times a year. You will be surprised what sneaks back in and onto your schedule in a short amount of time. You have to track all time-sucks to save yourself from burnout. Any method works, but I use a notebook and jot down whenever I get interrupted at work. Whether if it’s a notification on my smartphone, knock on my office door or my stomach grumbling in hunger, I note when and what distracted me so I can take measures to eliminate them.
For example, I noticed I would want to rummage around in the office kitchen at about 10:30 a.m. Too early to take lunch. But, I still needed something to eat. The solution? Keep healthy snacks in the office. As a bonus, I can stop by and check in on my team when I’m grabbing a snack, and the practice has reduced the number of knocks on my door.
Cut back on the meetings.
Without question, the leading time theft at work is meetings. While the exact time varies, it’s possible you’re spending anywhere from 35 percent to 50 percent of your time in meetings. Personally, I think that’s absurd, and we don’t do it at my business. However, I realize meetings are necessary. So, what’s the compromise here?
For starters, be realistic on how many meetings you can realistically book in a day without interfering with your work. You may also want to either schedule all of your meetings on the same day or set aside one day per week where meetings aren’t allowed.
Secondly, ask yourself if the meeting is really needed or if there’s an alternative? Sometimes a quick phone call, email or Slack thread will be enough. You could also use project management software to track everyone’s progress.
Make your calendar malleable.
Some people would tell you that you must schedule every minute of your day. In theory, I get it. Overscheduling and every minute-scheduling ensures that you aren’t wasting any of your valuable time. In reality, though, a chock-full calendar doesn’t work that way.
Rigid calendars can be overwhelming and cause burnout when you feel obligated to follow through with the schedule you created. Striving can become too intense with an overrun calendar, which doesn’t give you flexibility to address the unexpected or allow for spontaneity.
Throughout the day, leave an hour or two free. That doesn’t mean you can goof off, but it gives you the availability to handle an emergency or finish a task that took you longer to complete than you had planned. And if your day is drama-free, you can use that time to read, meditate, organize your work area, go for a walk or help someone on the team who may be behind.
Don’t plan every minute of your downtime, either. What if you don’t have plans this Saturday? You may wake up wanting to take a last-minute day trip. Because you don’t have anything else scheduled, you can take advantage of the break and enjoy this luxury.
Learn how to relax and blow off steam.
Finally, get over your guilt or ego to avoid burnout. You don’t have to be “on” every waking second. Take time away from work and enjoy yourself. Remember, there’s much more to life than work. Besides, we all need these breaks to relax, decompress and recharge the batteries.

That Time a WWII German U-Boat Sank as a Result of Flushing a Toilet
In the 1970s, BP oil pipeline workers came across a curious item about 12 miles southwest of Cruden Bay, Aberdeenshire sitting about 86 meters under the surface- an old German U-Boat. In fact, one of the last U-Boats ever sunk in WWII. Unlike so many of its fellow subs, however, this one's demise came about owing to a sequence of events all stemming from someone flushing the toilet incorrectly... So what exactly happened here?
U-1206, a Type VIIC submarine, was officially ordered on April 2, 1942 and ultimately launched on December 30, 1943. About a year and a half later, On April 6, 1945, the shiny new craft with its crew of 50 men departed from Kristiansand, Norway on its first non-training patrol machine.
Pertinent to the topic at hand is that while most submarines at the time used a storage tank to stow the product of flushing on board toilets and other waste water, with stereotypical German engineering efficiency, U-boat designers went the other way and decided to eject the waste directly into the ocean.
On the plus side, this saved valuable space within the submarine while also reducing weight. The downside, of course, was that ejecting anything into the ocean required greater pressure inside than out. As a result, U-boats had long required that, in order to use the toilets, the ship would have to be near the surface
Of course, being so close to or on the surface is generally to be avoided when on patrol if a sub captain wants to see his ship not blown up. This resulted in crewmen who needed to purge their orifices while submerged needing to do so in containers, which would then be stored appropriately until the sub needed to surface and the offending substances could be ditched over board.
As you can imagine, this didn't exactly improve the already less than ideal smell of the air within the sub while it was plodding away down under. But there was nothing much that could be done about this...
That is, until some unknown German engineers designed a high pressure evacuation system. As to how this system worked, in a nutshell, the contents of the toilet were piped into an airlock of sorts. Once the offending matter found its way into said airlock, this would be sealed and subsequently pressurized, at which point a valve could be opened which would eject the fecal matter and fluids into the sea.
This all brings us to eight days into the patrol mission, on April 14, 1945.
Now, before we get into this, it should be noted that there are two versions of the story of what happened next- one version is stated by literally every single source we could find discussing this event on the interwebs, as well as repeated on the show QI and found in countless books on the subject. As for the other version, if you dig a little deeper, thanks to the good people at the Deutsches U-Boot Museum Archive, you can actually find the official account from 27 year old Captain Karl-Adolf Schlitt, who, minus a couple letters in his last name, couldn't have been more aptly named for what was about to occur.
All this said, in both cases, the root cause of the sub's sinking were the same- improper use of the toilet's flushing mechanism.
That caveat out of the way, as the vessel was cruising along at around 70 meters below the surface and about eight miles from Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, the popular version states that Captain Schlitt had need of evacuating his bowels and so, no doubt with dignity befitting a man of his stature and rank, did his business in the toilet. That done, he was now left to try to flush the thing.
Unable to figure out the complicated contraption, Captain Schlitt called in help from the "W.C. Waste Disposal Unit Manager"- literally the only guy on board officially trained in how to flush the toilet, apparently also known among the crew as (translated), "the shit-man".
Unfortunately for the men that would soon die as a result, for whatever reason the crewman who was supposed to know how to flush the toilet made a mistake and turned the wrong valve...
That's the popular version to which we could not find any primary document to support it, despite it being widely parroted. As for the official version, Captain Schlitt himself claimed,
In April 1945 U-1206 was in the North Sea off Britain. On board the diesel engines were faulty. We could not charge our batteries by the snorkel any more. In order to get the diesels working again we had put down about 8-10 miles from the British coast at 70mts, unseen by British patrols... I was in the engine room, when at the front of the boat there was a water leak. What I have learned is that a mechanic had tried to repair the forward WC's outboard vent. I would say - although I do not have any proof - that the outer vent indicator either gave false readings or none at all.
As to why said mechanic was attempting to work on the toilet's outboard vent while deeply submerged, that's every bit as much of a mystery as to why an engineer trained in how to properly flush the toilet would have screwed it up so badly in the Captain Schlitt pooping version of the story.
Of course, it is always possible that the good Captain made up his version of things to avoid personal embarrassment and perhaps the other version came from crew members giving a very different account, but we could not locate any crew member's version of events to verify that.
Whichever story is true, the result in either case was the contents of the toilet, if any, and the ocean outside shooting like a jet stream into the submarine.
Things were about to get a whole lot worse.
You see, as alluded to in Captain Schlitt's account, the U-1206 was a diesel electric sub, featuring twin Germaniawerft F46 four-stroke engines, which charged a bank of batteries which, in turn, powered two electric motors capable of producing 750 horsepower combined. The problem was that the batteries were directly below the toilet area. According to Captain Schlitt, when the water rushed in, "...the batteries were covered with seawater. Chlorine gas started to fill the boat."
As this was all happening, Captain Schlitt ordered the vessel to be surfaced. He then states, "The engineer who was in the control room at the time managed to make the boat buoyant and surfaced, despite severe flooding."
So here they were, diesel engines down for maintenance, batteries soaking in seawater, having taken on a significant amount of said water, chlorine gas filling the ship, and on the surface just off the coast of enemy territory.
The nightmare for Captain Schlitt was about to get worse. As he noted in his account of events, "We were then incapable of diving or moving. At this point, British planes and patrols discovered us..."
With few options available, Captain Schlitt ordered various valves on the U-1206 be opened in order for it to fill with water, after which the crew abandoned the sub, with it shortly thereafter sinking.
The crew made their way to the Scottish coast on rubber rafts, but things didn't go well here either. Schlitt states, "In the attempt to negotiate the steep coast in heavy seas, three crew members tragically died. Several men were taken onboard a British sloop. The dead were Hans Berkhauer, Karl Koren, and Emil Kupper."
Ultimately 10 crewmen did make it shore, but just like their surviving compatriots at sea, were promptly captured.
In the aftermath, thankfully for just about everyone, just 16 days later, on April 30, 1945, Hitler bravely, and with no regard for his own personal safety, infiltrated the Führerbunker and single handedly managed to rid the world of one of the most notorious individuals of all time by putting a bullet through his own brain. About a week after that, Germany finally surrendered.
As for what happened to Captain Schlitt after, this isn't clear, other than he appears to have lived to the ripe old age of 90, dying on April 7, 2009.

Hello Shafin
I cant believe how your 7 day coaching has changed my life. Its truly amazing. Heres my story:
In 2003 I was diagnosed with “Major Depression” and was told I would have to take mediation for the rest of my life. When I was first diagnosed I was started on the lowest dosage of antidepressants, over the years my doctors kept increasing my mediation and I was taken 4 times the amount of medication I initially started with. The side-effects were awful and I still was not feeling 100%. Over the years I started abusing drugs, starting with pot and working my up to heroin. I kept thinking to my self this is not the way I want to live my life, life cant be this difficult, why is my life such a mess, nothing was going the way I wanted it to, I was surviving life, not living life, I felt I was just going down hill, FAST.
I then came across your web site and took part in your 7-Day E-course. The shifting in my personality has been life changing; I dont even have the words to describe how it has changed my life. My thinking has taken a completely new direction. I havent touched drugs or anti-depressants for the past 3 weeks now, it may not seem allot to some people, but to me it means the world. From living the past 8 years taking pills and drugs on a daily basis to now not taken anything is truly a miracle for me. Its as if I have been blind but now I can see. The sounds I hear are louder, the colors are brighter, the tastes are tastier and the feelings, well I now know what it is like to feel love from people; my entire perspective on life has changed.
I now know my life will be different, I still cant believe it; its like I have been reborn to live life again. I am so grateful to you.
I have even gone back to college and iv decided to study Electrical engineering, something I never in my wildest dreams thought I would be able to do. I have gone from thinking, “I cant, its impossible, it wont happen to me” to I AM, I CAN, I WILL!” My family cant believe how my personality has changed. Thank-you so much, you have changed my life!!!
I have been telling everyone I know about you and how my life has changed. You have given me a reason to live again, and for that I am eternally grateful.
Yours truly,

Hi Shafin,
I’ve tried to quit smoking several times with no success. I was so used to the idea that I smoke, that when I quitted I started smoking again after a day or two.. just because I thought that I can’t quit. On day 1 of the coaching course you told me that reality is what I create it to be, and on day 4 you told me that I am what I believe I am, so I said to my self: “I believe I can quit smoking”.
It’s been three weeks now, and I haven’t even thought of smoking ever again. And I believe this is just the beginning of change. Thank you for inspiring me! Best wishes,
Plamen Peev, Bulgaria

Thank you Shafin de Zane! Thanks to God that you are in this world.
I have too much to say but I will be short here. You showed me the key to understand this world and to be happy. You gave the answer of the question “why?” that I have searching my entire life. I realized that all my life I was exercising to control my body, and my behaviour. I was trying to control the results.
You explained how mind is working, what are the feelings. You showed the Source. Now I’m learning from your course to create these results. Now as never before I can’t stop. I want to go on, I want more. This 7 Day
Course does miracles. I’m beginner but already feel much calmer and happier. I’m on the way to buy Redefine Your Reality Package.
Keep creating, keep making miracles with us!

Dear Shafin,
My warmest greetings to you! I almost feel as though I know you! I really wish I did! I would love to have you as my neighbour! You have definitely impacted my life and I truly thank you from my heart.
To a large extent, I have put my life on hold for the past 7 days! I’ve been scanning my inbox searching for your next email eCourse! It couldn’t have come at a better time!!!
The exercises helped me focus my awareness on taking the next step towards defining my own personal success. Made me aware that we are the creators of our own adventures and destiny and that we need to take responsibility for defining our own course in life. That has to be in some ways one of the most difficult things to do.
I truly thank you for helping me find my way. You really make the world a better place. I admire your dedication to helping so many people in finding their way.
Hope the new year will bring you lots of joy and continued success!

Dear Shafin:
My Name is Pierre Zidor and I am from Haiti.
Before I took your 7 day life coaching course, my brother and I used to read the Book “The secret” and also watched the video.
One of our wants was to get something that would confirm what we learned from the secret. I meditated on that want, and one day while I was checking my email on Gmail, I saw this banner crossing through my screen with “Redefine your reality”: I quickly took advantage of it for I think it should be related to what I just learned.
And here we are, not only your e-course confirmed what we knew, but the way you explained things and the exercises you gave were just proper, and did a good job in getting me to start looking from within.
Thanks Shafin for this initiative and sacrifice you’re making to help others; this should be praised and recognized around the world. I will write you about the successes I will soon be experiencing
Thanks,
Pierre Zidor, Haiti

Shafin. My name is Aaron Chidlow, i have spent the last week or so being inspired by your words in your life coaching course. For a long time now i have felt deep inside of me that there is so much more to the life we see in front of us and your words have given me so much more than just knowledge, i really feel you have opened my eyes to a better place that “lives” inside all of us. Now i really can “GO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE”. Thank you! Aaron Chidlow

Hello Shafin,
Thank you for your 7 day life coaching. Your lessons and the questions you posed inspired me to not just read the material , but to live it, play with it and prove it to myself. The mission statement is still on the paper I wrote it on, but it’s also in my heart and mind.
Things that used to be big issues, aren’t so big anymore. I have been able to be more direct and decisive as a result. Thank you!

Hi Shafin
I am David Fritz, living on a small holding near Benoni, Johannesburg, South Africa.
I am so excited about this course… From the first words i read of yours I was intrigued, because they “felt right”. It was said of Jesus that he taught with authority, different to the way the Pharisees taught, and I felt that same “conviction”, knowing”, “this is it” in your discourse.
Since December 2008, about 7 months ago, I have decided to be a lightworker, bringing healing and comfort to as many as i can, using my music talent, and all other talents, gifts and experience and knowledge that I have gained through the years. Your course gave me a shove in the right direction: I have wanted to use meditation as the basis of healing myself and grounding myself, then healing others, but till now had just read about meditation and said “sure, will do one day”.
Now, with the exercise in your course, I have started this practice regularly and cannot wait to extend into with the guided meditation. I found it very fascinating to find lessons on male and female attraction in this course and it testifies to your holistic knowledge and approach.
I look forward to a long and mutually edifying relationship.

Shafin,
I find your regular emails like breaths of fresh air, in the pace of everyday life, I stop and take a deep breath because each time I find something new and always, a moment to meditate. And miracles happen, small and big.
Makes me realize that while we are constantly reminded that terrible things that happen in a moment – miracles too happen in a moment. Thank You.

Hi, it hasn’t been long since I found out about you. I want to thank you for being there for us, for helping us awaken little by little with your teachings.
I have learnt and remembered so many things, that now I feel less stressed. There is one thing I have to continue working with, perseverance. Thanks again for everything you do.
May you have the greatest of holidays.

Dearest Shafin, First of all, i have fallen in love with u since i enrolled with this amazing 7 day course and helped me to change my life. I never felt so strong and confident from inside. Starting from the 1st day course till 7 day course, every single article made me change my thoughts, made me change my life. I must congratulate to those people who chose this e-course and would suggest all the people (who can not believe that miracles can happen in your life, if u really want it to happen) to enroll for this e-course. I always used to think that i am loser since i lost the love of my life, i lost my mother. But now i am so confident and happy, that i can make other people happy too. It all happened because of u Shafin. Thank u so much for bringing this miracle to my life.

First I want to introduce myself. I am Etienne Jacobs, I was confused, and had one hundred million questions as to why is it that other people have what I can only dream of and never seemed to be able to reach or get. Yes I was the classic LOSER. Then by chance I stumbled across Shafin’s Website and enrolled for the 7 day E-Course, I thought it would be more mumbo-jumbo like all the other “So Called Self Help” stuff. But I was WRONG!!! OH SO WRONG!!! Shafin! This is for you: Thanks so much for opening my eyes and showing me the way where I can find the answers! Thanks for letting me discover what my real potential is! And that I am in control of my reality! You said something about Millionaires. Well I am going to be one of them! I am going to make it HAPPEN! I can, I will! Thanks again, Etienne Jacobs, South-Africa

Dear Shafin,
Repeating every joyful comment like the ones you are used to receiving would be the least I can do to express my satisfaction for your guidance through the course. Although I live on one of the most blessed and beautiful spots on the planet, I feel unfortunate that you don’t visit Greece giving lectures and seminars. But I feel very fortunate about my fluent English so that I will be able to read your work as soon as I obtain it (something I plan to do real soon ). I really want to be able to put into practice what I have recently learnt from you and other teacher-writers, stuff I have all alone looked for, without any guidance or recommendation. Maybe it’s the Call or the right time.
Thanks again. I remain your true friend. I will try to convey to my teenage kids your views. My daughter needs self reassurance as she will face very competitive exams on June and she is the easy part. My 20 year old son resists a lot but I will give a try.
Natassa Papazaharia, Athens,Greece

Dear Shafin,
The title Redefine Your Reality says it all. I have been reading and practicing a few meditation and self-development books. Your message in eCourse and in eBook is very powerful. Your insights validate the truth: the connectedness of all beings and our ability to create our own universe.
I ‘stumbled upon’ this course just when I was going through a painful situation (the universe always plans it that way); the eCourse and the eBook ground me to go inward and do a profound practice.
Thank you for your wonderful service to the world.

Hi Shafin,
Well, I got introduced to the concept of consciousness around 6 yrs ago. However, I have been efforts to walk the path for a little more than a year now. So, at the outset I would say that what I saw in the 7 day ecourse wasn’t all new.
However, I must say one thing; It very strongly drove home the point that “I can do it”!!!! I have been mulling over the idea of quitting my job so that I can dedicate more time to helping people and also dedicate more time to ‘realizing’ by direct experience all that was put in words in the 7 day ecourse. Reading all material in that and the subsequent mails made me feel stronger in a sense that nothing can touch the real me! I am a child of the universe and if there is something that I really really want to do, the universe will conspire that it happens!
I loved the mail where you mentioned about how we will be tested. Since then, I have been able to observe the distractions that pop up in front of me and am consciously able to witness the events that occur in my life, more than being a part of them!!
Thanks so much. When I was wondering if I was doing the right thing or not, I stumbled upon your work and it has erased the doubts and strengthened my conviction in what I should be doing!!!
Jayanth Ganapathy, India

My name is Biljana and I live in Greece.
You’ve helped me determine ONE course in my life which is the only course worth following.
I still have a long long way ahead of me, but for me there is no way I’m giving up on myself. This feeling- to dive into the silence within you! Everything I do to achieve it is worth doing.
~Biljana, Greece

Hi Shafin,
My Name is Roxanne Robinson and I want to tell you that your E-course has been one of the most informative courses I have ever gotten on the Internet. My girlfriends have been using the buddy system to keep us on track. Your exercises have helped us stay focused and have brought more abundance into our lives then ever before. You truly rock!
I repeat your words every morning and evening and for me that is truly a miracle, you do have a special way of explaining the way life is working and how we can redefine it. I truly believe you have opened new avenues for us and I thank you for that.
I have always believed in the idea that we create our own life, you have just helped me to confirm my beliefs. Life is just too short for everyone not to have everything they have every dreamed of and you are one of the special individuals that can really bring people around to believing in themselves. Thank you again for your words of wisdom.

Hi Shafin, The 7 day life coaching Course is the beginning of an enlightening journey and the experience was way beyond my expectations. I have bought the Redefine Your Reality ebook, this has somehow opened my eyes and given me a deeper understanding of myself.
It has changed my life for the better as it brings more peace and happiness within and I feel more energetic and focused. This is a great experience for anyone who is ready to change and is looking for a guiding light to realize the true powers within. Thank you very much Shafin.
Peter from New Zealand

Dear Shafin:
First, wanted to thank you for spreading your teachings and for sharing your valuable knowledge with us. God Bless You!
Your teaching just further confirmed my commitment to meditate and to look for the answers inside and not outside of myself… It is so clear now that what is real is our inside world and that the outside world is just the result of what is inside, so powerful!!!
I wish for people to be happier and happier:)
Thank you!

Hi Shafin,
I’m Grazvydas from Lithuania. Maybe you know, that the Index of Happiness in my country is one of the lowest in the whole world. But thanks to you it has increased this month because I have received the Course.
There are great inspiring message in Day 2: I am not the events of my life. I am my consciousness, I am my creation among my creations. Cogito ergo sum.
So there is not reason to be unhappy. Well done, Shafin. The world stay better. You really guide people from darkness to light, like me in the attached picture. Thank you
Grazvydas, Lithuania

Hi Shafin,
I have just finished your
coaching course and all I can say that this one is really different and of great value.
I have been interested in this “law of attraction” stuff for quite some time now, even before “The Secret”, and I have received e-courses from lots of different teachers. But this is a real eye-opener, as it brings quite a few insights that may be unpopular at first view, such as your lessons about the way that attraction works and the common mistakes most of us make in our relationships. But we have to face this and deal with it!
Thanks a lot for this information!
