Speculation: I think Predathos can attune more strongly to either Vordo or Ethodek. The gold is the tell that it's currently Vordo, resulting in resistance or immunity to radiant damage. Ethodek's domain was darkness and winter, so that might be cold or necrotic damage instead. It remains to be seen if this results in a vulnerability to some other kind of damage.
