A few days later—

On the day of the interview, Yujiro and Suzumi went to the location of said interview together.

Hiyori: The day has finally come!

Hiyori: Somehow, I’m getting kinda nervous too!

Yujiro: What do you mean by “too”? I’m not nervous or anything, though.

Yujiro: Don’t lump me in together with you.

Hiyori: Pfft, you sure are the same as always, Someya. I’m feeling a little more at ease.

Hiyori: Your answers for the pre-interview questionnaire were really good. Just how did you manage to come up with them, especially after stressing over it like that?

Yujiro: I didn’t stress over it or anything. It wasn’t that big of a deal.

Hiyori: Pfft, sure.

Staff: Yujiro, we’re done with the preparations for the interview. Can you come out now?

Yujiro: Got it.

Yujiro: Let’s go, Suzumi.

Hiyori: Yeah!

Interviewer: With regards to the topic of our special feature, “Celebrities I’d Want to Have as a Boyfriend”, I’d like to ask you a few questions.

Interviewer: To put it bluntly, what kinds of girls do you like, Yujiro?

Yujiro: Getting straight to it, aren’t you?

Interviewer: I mean, you’re Yujiro of LIPxLIP, the idol unit that’s pretty much the hottest topic these days! I’m sure our readers would be super interested to know your answer to that question.

Yujiro: Let me see…

Yujiro: To be honest, I have yet to truly fall in love with someone.

Interviewer: Eh?! Really?!

Yujiro: Yup. My studies at school, coupled with my work as an idol, keep me really busy at all times, after all.

Interviewer: Is that so? You’re still a High School student, right?

Yujiro: Yup. I vaguely recall that my first love was my kindergarten teacher, though.

Interviewer: Hehehe, that’s so cute!

Yujiro: However, I did see this couple when I was out in the city the other day.

Yujiro told the interviewer all about the couple he had seen by the crepe cart. He recounted how the two of them had bickered over whether they should use their matching keychains or not.

Interviewer: I see. So, the boyfriend of the couple was the one to give in in the end?

Yujiro: Hmm, I wouldn’t say that he “gave in”. He didn’t seem upset by it at all.

Yujiro: Despite disagreeing with each other, the both of them heard each other’s opinions and feelings out, and tried to find a compromise together…

Yujiro: I get the feeling that that’s the way they choose to deal with issues that may arise, and I find that this approach of theirs is really lovely.

Yujiro: If I were to ever fall in love with someone, and if they were to reciprocate my feelings…

Yujiro: I’d like for us to be able to build up a partnership that’s just like that couple’s.

Interviewer: What a wonderful story that was.

Yujiro: Thank you very much.

Following the interview, Yujiro went on to do his photoshoot.

Yujiro: The theme of this is “A Reverse Valentine”, isn’t it?

Yujiro: How’s this?

Cameraman: You sure are familiar with magazine photoshoots, no?

Yujiro: No, not at all. I was telling my manager, Suzumi, about how nervous I was in the dressing room earlier, you know?

Yujiro: Right?

Hiyori: Y-yes, indeed…

Interviewer: I’ve become an even greater fan of yours after meeting you today, Yujiro!

Interviewer: I’ll definitely go to your Valentine’s Day live!

Yujiro: Got it. I’ll be waiting for you there.

Yujiro: I, as well as Aizo, will do my best to make it a night to remember, okay?
