How long has it been..? The voice of the man walking into his room was distorted at first. He didn’t fully understand. As the confusion began to settle, he sat up. Scattered around the house were various cigarette butts and a few empty bottles of liquor, and only then did it occur to the sparrow that he had a headache bad enough to incapacitate a horse.

❝ Mmh . . ❞ He let out a groan, before directing hazy eyes toward Sei. He could barely even articulate.. Still intensely drunk, he let out a sigh and stood up- only to fall over. He got up once more, propping himself against the wall. Even if he was drunk, he’d done so to maybe knock himself out. Turns out, it didn’t do that for him. It just made him feel like utter shit.

He shouldn’t have been surprised to hear his receptionist snickering at him when he’d accidentally given a customer an innuendo along with the Sex on the Beach she’d asked for. Mizuki already knew he’d be getting some snarky comment later. He sighed at the accuracy of Sei’s comment.

“Yeah, I slipped up on that one,” he muttered after profusely apologizing to the girl. “But aren’t you tacking onto the whole peanut gallery thing yourself by commenting on it, too?”

For one, he was slightly shocked to see Aoba’s brother approach him. As he was about to greet him, the question caught him off guard. Blinking and opening && closing his mouth several times before answering.
