jealous buck is so real To Me. what's actually interesting about jealous buck is that like, obviously buddie started with jealous buck. buck was pissed that eddie was so hot competent and confident and had such an easy time settling in with the team when buck felt like he didn't, and coming off of abby leaving him so he was already Unsteady. and there was a bit of that jealousy/territorial thing going on with ravi (again prompted by someone -- maddie and chim -- leaving). but we've never really seen him jealous in a romantic context? part of that his relationship with abby had enough conflict, and ali was never around, and his relationship with taylor is so isolated that there isn't really any opportunities. and technically we haven't really seen eddie jealous in a romantic context either, but AFMKS i just don't know how else to explain the tkelly stuff honestly so at the very least we know what eddie being jealous specifically re: buck looks like. but buck's kind of a question mark. or buck's just much more subtle about it compared to eddie (which. not like it's hard AMFLS eddie my petty bitch i love him so much). because there's the Look buck gives eddie when he cancels on breakfast plans with the team to go on a date with ana, and there's everything about 5x02, but it's all very lowkey. buck's feelings about eddie (when eddie is there to see them; see the difference with the well and the shooting) are overall much more lowkey than eddie's. eddie's the one making the there's no one i trust more and you act like you're expendable and you're the guy who fixes things speeches. i'm literally noticing this Right Now as i'm typing, but it's really interesting given eddie's Repression and eddie's Idea of himself as someone who doesn't talk about his feelings (he doesn't want christopher to be like him, he wants christopher to be open and he thinks that isn't Like Him but...literal king of casual romantic speeches it is like you)(eddie doesn't talk about his feelings where they relate to him, but he'll talk about his feelings re: chris and re: buck until he's blue in the face) and buck's I Hide My True Feelings thing.

anyway MALFKS my post about jealous buck happened bc i was writing a scene in the actors au where eddie and ana are filming a romantic scene (? not really, they're filming a cowboy like me movie so eddie's hashtag conning her. the movie is actually a buck/eddie romance buck's just having a hard time) and buck (a professional) is losing his mind because him and eddie are secretly fucking but like, just as friends. i decided to write this in like, last minute bc i decided buck deserved to be a lil jealous after eddie spent ,,, checks notes uh 20k being jealous of taylor

This is one of those little lessons, on what goes around comes around. Always compensate people for the good job they do, just as you would expect when you do work for someone else.

Another piece of very useful advice I’m glad my mom taught me, as I had to use an extinguisher once when I started a fire in the oven using the broiler.

I came across this book (life's little instruction book), that had various pieces of advice, wisdom, and instructions for making life better. I didn't really care for most of the stuff they had (and there was over 700 items), so I decided to make my own list that i could one day give to any kids I have. I figured I’d make each one into a simple graphic, that can later be made into a scrapbook.

He is the first piece of advice I would teach, right now I have about 50 of these wise words and I’ll probably add more in time. Feel free to use these or when I've finished posting them all print them for your own book. 

I’ll give them the tag AMFK (advice for my kids) so there easy to find in one place. 

(*update) Inscription I’ll add to the book: To my future kids- I made this book to give you, because your coming of age and will be going out into the world soon. There are many things to learn, that will be invaluable for life. I hope it serves you well, and that you don’t get rid of it, but keep it to pass on to future generations.
