IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: EY is in trouble! ICAI has taken action against its affiliates!! The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has issued a directive instructing SR Batliboi & Associates LLP, SRBC & Co LLP, SR Batliboi & Co, and SV Ghatalia & Associates, all of which are affiliates of Ernst & Young Global (EYG), to promptly cease all current affiliations and arrangements with the institute. Furthermore, CA Raj Kumar Agarwal and CA Tridibes Basu have been disqualified for a period of three years, along with fines of Rs 15 lakhs and 5 lakhs respectively, as per the Institute's decision.

But why? Due to professional misconduct! As per the directives from ICAI, the cited firms and individuals were found to have engaged in various activities contravening established regulations, including:

Entering into an agreement with EYG for referral services involving the exchange of referral fees.

Sharing of resources such as infrastructure, personnel, brand identity, and contact information, implying a significant level of control by E&Y over these entities.

Utilization of E&Y's email addresses and virtual locations, indicating a compromised level of independence.

According to the committee, these practices were adopted by these firms and individuals to take advantage of the firms’ affiliation with EYG and to influence larger clients!!! Does anyone rememeber Jennifer Mezzetta, a.k.a. Jennifer Crepuscolo? She's the leader of a Theistic Satanist group called the Union of Italian Satanists, who Vice News wrote an interview article about back in January.

That article overlooked a very significant detail: the fact that their group contains several endorsements of Nazi ideology, and even contains some praise (alongside some criticism) for Nazi Satanist groups such as Joy of Satan and the Order of Nine Angles. @queersatanic wrote a thread on the subject on Twitter, and then I decided to write an article documenting as much as I could.

And then of course I wrote a fresh response to that entire farce, even though it was extremely unlikely that she and her band of Nazi chucklefucks were ever going to pose any threat to me.

But why am I talking about this again? Because last night someone sent me evidence over Facebook that Jennifer admitted to someone, in private conversation (apparently someone she betrayed), that she aligns with the ideology of National Socialism (Nazism), along with the Right in general. The role of women in Kirigakure

Generally speaking, it used to be rather uncommon for women to become kunoichi. One of the women who did was Ameyuri Ringo, who quickly became an idol to many young girls in her time. The idea of a woman swordsman was ridiculous - yet she fought her way up to the top. The shinobi affilitation was a very men-oriented field and those women who did became fully fledged shinobi were battle hardened and didn't take shit from anyone.

However, it was very common for women to be part of the workforce, since many citizens are on the poorer side, women from higher ranked families being the exception. The most common jobs taken on by women used to be rice and fruit farmers, seamstresses or business (co-)owners.

This has changed, however, once the fifth mizukage, Mei Terumi, rose to power. She encouraged young women and girls to fight for their dreams and become shinobi as well.

Women of the middle and higher classes are expected to take care of themselves, look pretty and be gracious, elegant and soft-spoken. Arranged marriages were nothing uncommon, often leaving the women with no choice in the matter.
