I want to make money online but where to start??

I've wanted to make money online for years, in the past I tried some "get rich quick schemes" but it had either come to a dead end, the motivation sizzled out or it was just too damn mind boggling so I would give up and carry on with my life.

Until recently I had a small side hustle selling second hand clothes or "flipping" household items and I liked it, it made me a few dollars here and there and it has given me some knowledge of the marketplace and how consumers buy, but as a stay at home mum to 5, I needed to find financial freedom for my family especially through these trying times.

So rewind to a couple weeks back, thinking about my current financial problems and which direction I wanted to go, I thought about my options, do I restart my side hustle? Try online selling? Or do I go back into the workforce? Which by the way is a last resort for me.

My decision was still pending as I started to research what options I might have with online selling.

Coming from a face-to-face/phone sales and service background I was pulled towards affiliate marketing. I dug around for info about affiliate marketing and whether it could be done by someone with no experience, no technical knowledge, little social media presence, can barely put words together to make a sentence and of course cringe at the thought of making actual videos, but based on the research so far the answer is YES.

It seems theses days the "underdog" has been catered for and we can now join the ranks of the huge influencers online that are making 6 figures with a click of a button so to speak.

I have come to terms with what is ahead of me, I realize that if I really want results I have to put in the hard yards and when I reach my destination the rewards will be like winning the lotto.
