"aesthetum" is attraction to aesthetics, and has subcategories for specific aesthetics. Aesthetics are typically image-related, so that could work for you. Otherwise I'm semi-certain the term does not exist, so you can coin it yourself or take it to a larger mogai/objectum blog that takes coining requests 💚🌼

Yeah, I'm aware of what aesthetum is and I do ID as that. I just wanted one that's more specific to images but I guess aesthetum could work.

hello! i’m questioning if i’m objectum or fall under the objectum umbrella, and i’d like some help! is it a thing to be/ is there a term for being attracted to specific aesthetics? and if so, how would you start being in a relationship with one? tysm, sorry for the bother! -🌲🔧

I believe the term for attraction to aesthetics is aesthetum! I’ve definitely seen folks who use the term around :)

I’m not entirely sure how one does relationships with non physical ‘objects’, to be honest. I read about someone who loved radiation who went into that related field of work to be close to their love.

You could do things to ‘be close’ - so like if you like kidcore for example, you could dress up in that aesthetic, and maybe do kidcore themed things (playground, watching cartoons, going to build a bear) as dates/hang out?

Divination might work, if you address the ‘entity’ of the aesthetic - like, how there’s the concept of talking to Nature as a entity except you’re talking to vaporwave or such instead. Then you can get to know them as a ‘being’.

(The ability of something/someone’s beloved to be perceived as sentient/reciprocating or otherwise ‘talk back’ is not required to be objectum, it’s just fairly common.)
