When your girlfriend, Karina, came home you had already drifted off to sleep. She stumbled into the penthouse, locking the door behind her and taking off her shoes.
She had went to work earlier today, but after her shift she went to the bar with some colleagues they were celebrating her colleagues birthday. She made her way through the hallway, trying to keep her balance. She sighed as she walked into you guysâ shared bedroom.
Karina was drunk, she was a flirty drunk. You would normally wait up for her to come to bed, but you fell asleep before she came home. Karina took off her shirt and blazer, then she took off her suit pants and belt.
She yawned before grabbing a plain grey baggy shirt and putting it on. She flopped on the bed next to you and looked at you, slowly sitting up.
She loved your sleeping face, it was so peaceful she folded every time she saw your sleeping face. She shifted to you, slowly taking off the covers of you.
She saw your pyjamas, it was the little bear shorts with the matching baggy shirt. It was the one she got you for your birthday as you said you liked cute things and she bought it as it reminded her of you.
She slowly got between your legs parting them slightly for her to fit, she then leaned down and kissed your lips. She knew you were a deep sleeper, so she could do anything to you while you were asleep.
Well she wouldnât want you to hurt you at all, Karina just wanted to show her love to you. She then pulled away, sighing. âyouâre so pretty when you.. hiccups.. sleep my princess..â
She looked down at your body before slowly unbuttoning your shirt, soon enough she was able to see your chest you normally donât wear a bra to sleep at all.
âSuch a bad girl..â she smirked and slowly reached your chest before rubbing your boobs. She loved playing with them, she knew you were a double D and she loved it as it would fit perfectly in her hands.
She then leaned down and took one into her mouth, gently sucking on your harding nipples. She licked, and slightly tugged on it before leaving a hicky on your right breast.
She looked at your face, you were still knocked out, she smiled and brushed some hair out off your face before putter her hands on your waist and on the waistband of your pyjama shorts.
She slowly pulled them down and off you putting them to one side as she looked at your cunt which was covered by your pink bow panties. It was the one she bought just for you as she thought that âit would look cute on you.â
So she bought it for you, she saw a small damp spot in your panties before slowly pulling them off you and putting it where you shorts was. âSo pretty.. my pretty bunny..â
She manoeuvred herself so that her head was a your, what she called, âher bunnyâs pretty pink pussy..â She licked your folds, causing your body to react with a shiver.
You werenât awake, it was just your body reacting naturally to Karinaâs touch. She lightly chuckled at that before going back to you, she licked up and down slowly savouring your taste.
She then started moving to your hole where she gently pushed in her two digits into you causing you to let out a whimper subconsciously. She started moving her digits in and out of you while she continued to suck on your cunt.
All the meanwhile you were letting out moans and whimpers like if you were awake, but you werenât. Or thats what Karina thought, she started speeding up her movements as she wanted to make you cum. Just so she could taste your sweet juices.
Just as she did speed up, your body started shuddering and your legs started twitching, which interacted that you had cummed all over her fingers. She smirked and pulled out her fingers before lapping up all your slick and sucking it up.
âSo sweet bunny and all for mommy huh?.â she smiled and then sat up on her knees before pulling down her boxers.
Karina was way bigger than the average size for her dick, as hers where not only just long but it was also thick and girthy which she liked to keep it clean and smooth.
She looked at her harden erection and slowly pumped it as she looked at your face, she was lost in thought for a few seconds before she positioned herself alining her cock with your pussy.
She slowly pushed into you groaning at how tight you were, when she done so, she saw you shift, causing her to stop her movements. She continued to look at you to see if you had woken up, but to her surprise you hadnât so she continued.
Till she was fully in you, she slowly started thrusting herself into you. Sucking in a sharp breath, she held your hips close, as her hips slowly continued to hit your hips.
After a few minutes she speed up her paste and it caused you to slowly wake up to Karinaâs cock inside you and her holding your hips.
Her eyes were focused on your hips, so when you open your mouth to speak but couldnât as all you did was let out a moan. She looked up at your face, âdid I wake you up princess..?â She smiled and continued to move her hips.
You slowly opened your eyes and continued to release whimpers as she thrusted continuously into you, âah..yeah.. y-..you ah did..â
You slowly closed your eyes and frowned your eyebrows from the pleasure and pain that karina was giving you. Well you were still sore from cumin from her tongue and fingers but youâre also feeling pleased that she was hitting your G-stop constantly.
âHmm such a fucking bad girl,â She sped up, âthat's it, that's my girl, such a good fucking girl, letting mommy use her like a little fuckdoll. you need to be used so damn badly, babydoll? fucking disgusting-"
You bit down on your bottom lip, you felt yourself coming closer to the edge by every thrust. âOh ah.. f-fuck m-mommy..â you whimpered as you locked eyes with her.
âGood girl, whoâs your mommy..?â Her thrusts became more sloppier by the second, indicating that she was close to her release as well.
âAh.. you.. hpmf.. and.. o-only you..!â You gripped onto her arms as you clenched around her.
âOh fuck.. iâm gonna..â She looks down, âCum in you.. and youâre gonna take it all..yeah..?â Grunting she started taking you pound town.
You nodded, all you wanted at the moment was to feel her cum in your hole filling you up. Whines escaped your mouth, âM-mommy.. Iâm gonna..!â
âMe too bunny ah fuck cum with me..â
And at that moment you cumâmed all over her cock causing your legs to shiver, all whilst Karina had cumâmed in you her hips bucking forward. âFuck bunny..â
She then pulled out noticing you and her cum flowed out of you before she pushed it back in. She then put your underwear on for you and your shorts back on before laying down beside you and pulling you close so that she could cuddle you.
You guys both slept the night way, with you being in Karinaâs arms.

karina approached y/n, who stood at her spot with her eyes closed, caught in a moment of post-performance relaxation. she didnât even flinch when karina grabbed at her hoodie strings that got in her shirt from the vigorous dancing. fixing her hoodie.
she looked back up to face y/n and made eye contact with her. the camera caught the tip of her ears turning red. before she went in to wrap her arms around the girls shoulder. trying to ignore the flustered feeling from the sudden eye contact.
y/n, slightly taken aback, looked at karina with a hint of confusion. she returned the embrace by wrapping her arms around karinaâs slim waist.

Accidental Confessions - Karina x Fem!Reader
9k words
The auditorium hummed with anticipation as Y/N settled into her seat beside Rei, folding her arms comfortably. The room was packed with freshmen eagerly taking in their first taste of university life, but she was hardly paying attention to the introductory speeches. Her friends were all around her, immersed in their own excited chatter: Jiwon and Rei kept stealing small, affectionate glances, Yujin playfully teased a blushing Wonyoung, and Gaeul was scrolling through her phone, occasionally nudging Y/N to show her funny photos sheâd saved.
Y/N couldnât help but smile at her friends' obvious happiness. It was almost laughable how quickly things had fallen into place on day oneânew classes, new people, new possibilities. Still, she stayed grounded, focused on what theyâd come here to do. Medicine. The program was reputed for being grueling, so keeping her head down and blending in felt like a safe plan.
But as the room began to quiet down, her attention was snagged by a shift in the crowd near the auditorium entrance. Her gaze landed on a new group making their way down the aisle, effortlessly drawing the attention of nearly everyone in the room.
Jimin led them.
Y/N had heard about Jimin from passing conversations on orientation day. A sophomore in the medical program, Jimin was known not only for her academic ability but also for her popularity on campus. She was the kind of person others naturally gravitated towards, with an air of confidence that set her apart. Jiminâs friends followed close behind, talking and laughing among themselves, but it was Jimin who seemed to capture the room with ease, even before she reached her seat.
Y/N couldnât quite place what it was about her that held her focus. Maybe it was the smooth, unbothered way she moved, or the casual glances she tossed toward familiar faces, like she was already at home here. Her clothes were simple, yet every detail looked effortlessly put together. People had a lot to say about herâstories ranging from her perfect grades to her rumored love lifeâand as Y/N watched her, she could see why.
âAh, already captivated by the upperclassmen, are we?â Gaeulâs teasing tone jolted Y/N from her thoughts. Y/N brushed it off with a shake of her head, but as she looked back, something unexpected happened.
Jimin was staring directly at her.
The gaze was cool and observant, and Y/Nâs breath hitched as their eyes met. It was like being caught off guard by a flash of lightningâsudden, intense, and impossible to ignore. Y/N expected Jimin to look away, but instead, Jiminâs lips curved into a small, almost private smile, a hint of mischief lighting her expression.
Y/Nâs pulse kicked up, and she felt a sudden flush creeping up her neck. A smirk? It was barely there, but the way Jiminâs gaze lingered for an extra beat before turning back to her friends left Y/N feeling as if sheâd been drawn into a secret she didnât fully understand.
âNothing, huh?â Reiâs voice was closer, her tone knowingly playful.
Y/N scoffed, feigning a dismissive wave of her hand. âShe justâŠlooked over here,â she muttered, though her mind was racing with questions she didnât know how to answer.
âLooked over here?â Rei raised a brow, lips quirking in amusement. âLooked over here how? Because from where Iâm sitting, it looked a lot like staring.â
Gaeul, catching onto the exchange, leaned in with a smirk of her own. âStaring and smirking,â she added. âDonât think she does that for just anyone.â
Y/N laughed it off, hoping her friends wouldnât notice the color rising to her cheeks. âI think youâre all just bored,â she said, but she could still feel the residual warmth of Jiminâs gaze, like a phantom touch lingering on her skin. Forcing herself to turn away, she stared down at her hands, trying to will her heartbeat back to normal.
As the orientation continued, Y/N occasionally found herself glancing back in Jiminâs direction, half-convinced she was imagining things. But each time she looked, Jimin seemed completely focused on her friends, laughing at something Aeri was saying or nodding along with a calm expression as Yizhuo gestured animatedly beside her. Y/N told herself sheâd imagined that whole moment, that maybe Jimin was simply lost in thought and accidentally looked her way.
But deep down, she knew that wasnât it. Jiminâs gaze had been far too deliberate, and that subtle, knowing smirk had seemed almostâŠcalculated, as if it was meant to leave her feeling exactly the way she did nowâoff-balance and uncharacteristically flustered.
âY/N, youâre zoning out again,â Gaeul nudged her shoulder, snapping her back to the present.
âRight,â Y/N replied, blinking herself out of her thoughts and forcing herself to focus on the faculty members now introducing the semesterâs course load and expectations. She tried to take in the information as the dean highlighted the programâs rigor and upcoming assignments, but her mind kept drifting back to that brief, charged moment.
She glanced back at her friends, watching as Jiwon leaned into Reiâs shoulder, and Yujin and Wonyoung shared a small smile, the kinds of looks that spoke of something unspoken and deeply mutual. Y/N had always been slightly baffled by these thingsâby the way some people could connect instantly, how a single look could change the whole atmosphere.
But sitting here now, with the heat of Jiminâs gaze still lingering like an invisible thread between them, she thought maybe, for the first time, she understood.
--
After orientation the girls decided to head out near campus to eat. The cafĂ© was buzzing with the lively chatter of students, its walls lined with posters advertising clubs, study groups, and all kinds of university events. Y/N sat in the middle of the cafĂ©âs cozy corner with her friends, sipping an iced coffee and feeling the weight of the day slowly lift. Jiwon and Rei were huddled together, heads close as they shared some inside joke, while Wonyoung and Yujin debated over which study group was actually useful for their biochemistry class. Gaeul, ever the people-watcher, scanned the room for familiar faces while picking at a muffin.
âSoâŠâ Y/N started, not quite meeting anyoneâs eyes as she stirred her drink absently. âDid anyoneâŠum, notice that sophomore from orientation? Jimin, I think?â
It was a casual questionâat least, she hoped it sounded that way. Sheâd spent half the morning trying to shake off that lingering, half-dazed feeling from her brief encounter with Jimin. Maybe talking about it would somehow make it feel lessâŠintense.
Gaeulâs head snapped around so fast Y/N thought she might get whiplash. Her friendâs eyes widened as she broke into a grin. âOh? So you did notice her.â
Y/N tried to shrug it off, but Rei and Jiwon had already leaned in, their faces lighting up with an interest far too intense for her comfort.
âSheâs cool, I guess,â Y/N said quickly, trying to sound casual. âI just thought she seemedâŠyou know, confident. Unbothered.â
âConfident and unbothered?â Rei repeated, exchanging a sly glance with Gaeul. âAnd what else? Tall, dark, and mysterious?â
âShe does have that vibe,â Jiwon chimed in, winking. âAnd someone here is clearly into it.â
Y/N rolled her eyes, desperately trying to ignore the heat creeping up her neck. âNo, Iâm just sayingâŠlike, objectively, sheâs cool. Thatâs all.â
âUh-huh,â Gaeul leaned back in her chair, crossing her arms as she studied Y/N with a grin. âIs that why you stared at her the whole time during orientation?â
Y/Nâs mouth fell open, and she sputtered a quick defense. âI didnât stare! Youâre imagining things.â
But Gaeul was relentless, leaning in closer, eyes gleaming with amusement. âOh, sure, because you just âaccidentallyâ brought her up and just âcasuallyâ called her cool.â She exchanged an exaggerated glance with Rei. âDo you think we should tell Y/N what the first stage of a crush looks like, orâŠ?â
âFirst stage?â Y/N huffed, crossing her arms, though her cheeks were on fire. âPlease. Itâs not like that. She justâŠmade an impression, thatâs all.â
âOh, an impression, huh?â Rei teased, putting her chin in her hands as if deeply interested. âDid it come with a smirk and a little eye contact?â
Y/N tried to hold her composure, but the way her friends were zeroing in on every detail made it nearly impossible. âYouâre all ridiculous,â she mumbled, her tone a bit too defensive to be convincing.Wonyoung decided to step in, reaching across the table to give Y/Nâs hand a reassuring squeeze. âAlright, alright, everyone, letâs give her a break. She just thought Jimin was cool, thatâs all. Right, Y/N?â
Y/N breathed a sigh of relief, grateful to have someone on her side. âYes, exactly. Thank you, Wonyoung.â
But then Wonyoung shot her a mischievous grin, shrugging her shoulders as she added, âNot that I blame you, though. If Jimin had looked at me like that, Iâd probably be talking about her, too.â
Y/Nâs relief melted into exasperation as Wonyoungâs words set the rest of the table off again.
Jiwon laughed, nudging Rei. âSee, Wonyoung gets it. That girl had some serious energy at orientation, like she knew everyone was watching her. It was kind of impossible not to look.â
Gaeul nodded sagely, pretending to be thoughtful. âAnd you know, for someone who was supposedly just âmaking an observation,â Y/N here sure remembers a lot of details about Jimin.â
Y/N shook her head, trying to ignore the traitorous grin tugging at her lips. âI swear, youâre all being so dramatic about this.â
âHey, donât fight it,â Wonyoung teased with a grin. âI mean, if I got that kind of attention from Jimin, Iâd probably be just as starry-eyed.â
âStarry-eyed? I am not starry-eyed!â Y/N protested, but even she could tell it was a weak argument.
The group broke into laughter, and Y/N hid her face in her hands, laughing despite herself. She knew they were mostly teasing, but the way her friends looked at herâlike they could see right through her actâmade her wonder if maybe, deep down, there was something there. Something she hadnât quite let herself acknowledge yet.
Rei gave her a gentle nudge, still grinning. âJust admit it. Thereâs a spark there, and you know it.â
Y/N peeked out from behind her hands, shaking her head as she tried to brush off their words. âItâs not like that,â she insisted, but her friends were all smiles, too entertained to believe a single word she said.
âSure, sure,â Gaeul said, waving her off with a smirk. âWhatever you say. But remember this conversation when youâre head over heels and canât deny it anymore.â
Y/N tried to fight back a smile but lost the battle as their laughter filled the café, mingling with the clinking cups and soft hum of music.
-- Later that week, Y/N found herself in the anatomy lab, her nerves firing on all cylinders. She and her friends had spent the last few days studying the basics, but the hands-on part of anatomy felt differentâmore real and, in a way, daunting. Now, under the stark fluorescent lights and surrounded by gleaming tools and models, her mind went blank as she tried to organize the instruments in front of her.
She fumbled with the scalpels, picking one up, then another, unsure if sheâd even grabbed the right tool. Flipping through her notes in a mild panic, she barely noticed someone approaching until a smooth, amused voice cut through her concentration.
âAre you really going to need all five of those scalpels?â
Y/N looked up sharply, her breath catching as she met a familiar gaze. It was Jimin, standing just a few feet away with a casual ease, arms crossed as she observed Y/Nâs struggle with barely concealed amusement.
âUhâŠâ Y/N stumbled over her words, feeling her cheeks heat up. âI, um, just wanted to⊠be prepared?â
Jimin raised an eyebrow, her mouth tilting into a small smirk. âI see. So youâre the freshman who canât keep her scalpels straight?â
A nervous laugh escaped Y/N as she looked down at the cluster of tools on her tray. âGuilty, I guess.â
Jimin chuckled, reaching over to pick up the one scalpel Y/N actually needed. Her fingers brushed lightly over Y/Nâs as she handed it over, her eyes twinkling. âThis one should do just fine, trust me. You donât want to overdo it on your first go.â
Y/N let out an embarrassed laugh. âI thought being over-prepared was a good thing.â
âWell, maybe,â Jimin said with a playful shrug, studying Y/N. âBut you seem like youâd do fine even if you were under-prepared.â
Y/N blinked, thrown off. âThanks, I think?â
Jimin chuckled, her gaze lingering. âY/N, right?â
Y/N nodded, surprised she even remembered her name. âYeah. And youâre Jimin?â
âSure am, darlingâ Jimin said with a smirk that seemed to linger just a second too long.
Y/Nâs cheeks went pink at the casual nickname, but she tried to play it off, laughing nervously. She felt her heart stutter slightly, the weight of Jiminâs gaze and her easy confidence wrapping around her. She tried to gather herself, focusing back on the task at hand. âSo, uh⊠do you volunteer in this lab a lot?â
Jimin shrugged, picking up a second scalpel and holding it up to the light. âIâm a second year, so Iâve been through it already. Figured Iâd offer a little wisdom for the fresh meat.â She gave Y/N a pointed look. âOr maybe just the cute ones.â
Y/N blinked, thrown once again by the playful undertone in Jiminâs words. âUh⊠well, I appreciate the wisdom. Iâd probably be lost without it.â
Jimin smiled, looking far too pleased. âHappy to help. Though I think youâre selling yourself short,â she said, leaning a little closer with an almost conspiratorial grin. âBesides, if you get lost again, Iâll be around. Just call, and Iâll make sure you donât get overwhelmed.â
Y/N smiled, caught off guard by the offer but genuinely grateful. âThanks, Iâll keep that in mind.â
Jimin leaned back, a glimmer of something unreadable in her expression, and gave a little wave before heading back to her own lab station. âGood luck, cutie,â she called over her shoulder with one last smirk.
As she disappeared into the crowd of students, Y/N felt her cheeks heat up all over again. Did she imagine the nickname? And the way Jiminâs gaze had seemed to linger just a second too long?
Y/N shook her head, trying to brush it off. It was probably nothing, just a friendly sophomore helping out a freshman⊠right?
But even as she went back to her work, a tiny part of her couldnât shake the feeling that maybe, just maybe, there was more to it than that.
--
The steady hum of activity in the campus library was underscored by the soft scratching of pens and the quiet turning of pages. Late afternoon light filtered through the windows, casting a warm glow over the rows of bookshelves and study tables. Y/N was nestled at a large table with her friends, surrounded by open notebooks and highlighters as they reviewed the latest lecture notes for their anatomy class. A pile of flashcards sat between her and Rei, who was currently quizzing herself with intense focus, mouthing terms under her breath.
Y/N leaned over to Gaeul, whispering, âHey, I just realized I donât have that anatomy reference book we need.â
Gaeul glanced up from her notes. âYou mean Anatomy Essentials? Isnât that, like, a required textbook?â
âI thought I had it! I probably left it in my dorm,â Y/N said, sighing. âAnd I really donât want to walk back just to get it.â
Rei nudged her, an eyebrow raised in interest. âCouldnât hurt to take a break, right? Maybe youâll run into a certain helpful sophomore on the way.â
Y/N felt her face flush as she remembered her earlier conversation with Jimin in the lab, and she shot Rei a look. âYouâre never going to let that go, are you?â
Wonyoung, who had been casually eavesdropping from across the table, smiled mischievously. âI donât see why she should. You were blushing like a tomato when you told us about it!â
âI was not!â Y/N protested, though her cheeks were already warming again.
âOh, you were,â Gaeul chimed in, hiding her grin. âAnd who could blame you? Sophomore Jimin, practically a med school legend, calls you cute on day one? Iâd be flustered, too.â
âOkay, fine. Maybe sheâs⊠kind of interesting,â Y/N admitted, trying to downplay her reaction even as her friendsâ knowing smiles widened.
Rei let out a satisfied sigh. âThere it is. Our Y/N has a crush.â
Before Y/N could protest, Gaeul leaned in closer, her eyes gleaming with curiosity. âTell us more about what she said. Come on, give us every detail.â
Y/N hesitated, casting a glance around to make sure nobody nearby was listening in. She couldnât quite help herself; Jimin had left such an impression, and part of her wanted to share it. âOkay, fine. So she comes over while Iâm struggling to find the right scalpel and makes this whole thing about how Iâm a âfreshman who canât keep her scalpels straight.â And then she, um⊠she started calling me cutie.â
Wonyoung raised her eyebrows. âThat sounds⊠pretty flirty, actually.â
âYeah, I thought so too, butâŠâ Y/N trailed off, biting her lip. âI mean, sheâs just being friendly, right?â
Rei shook her head with an exaggerated sigh. âShe calls you cute, offers you help, stays in your space a bit longer than necessary, and you think itâs just friendly?â
âSometimes I think Y/N could be oblivious even if someone put a neon sign in front of her,â Gaeul teased, her eyes twinkling. âI think Jimin was trying to make it obvious.â
Wonyoung gave a supportive pat on Y/Nâs hand, though there was a teasing sparkle in her eye as well. âHey, itâs okay, Y/N. Maybe sheâs just the kind of person whoâs friendly to everyoneâthough, from what I hear, Jiminâs a bit picky about who she gives attention to.â
Before Y/N could respond, a quiet but unmistakable voice spoke from behind her. âHey, Y/N.â
She turned, slightly surprised to find Jimin herself standing at the end of their table, a casual smile on her face. Her friends, including Aespa members Minjeong, Aeri, and Yizhuo, were nearby, waiting by a row of bookshelves.
Jimin held a book in her hand, looking effortlessly at ease. âI overheard you mention needing Anatomy Essentials? You can borrow mine, if you want,â she offered, extending the book with a slight smile. âI already know all the material, so I wonât be needing it.â
Y/Nâs heart skipped a beat, and she took the book, feeling warmth seep into her cheeks. âOhâthank you! I didnât realize you were so close by.â
Jimin tilted her head, her smile growing just slightly. âItâs a small library, and I just happened to be in the right spot.â
Y/Nâs friends, who had been quietly watching the exchange, exchanged barely concealed glances of amusement. Reiâs hand came up to her mouth, as if she were suppressing a laugh, while Wonyoung nudged Gaeul under the table, her eyes practically gleaming.
âHey, Jimin!â Wonyoung said, breaking the silence. âThanks for helping our girl out.â
âOh, itâs no trouble.â Jimin shrugged easily, but her gaze didnât stray far from Y/N. âBesides, it seems like she could use all the help she can get with anatomy.â
Y/N let out a nervous laugh, feeling Jiminâs words settle over her. âYeah, Iâm still getting used to it.â
Aeri, who had walked over with Jimin, joined in, smiling at Y/N with a raised eyebrow. âDonât worry, weâve all been there. Well, maybe not Jimin,â she teased, nudging her friend. âShe practically breezed through first year.â
Jimin waved it off with a modest grin. âI wouldnât say that. I had help too, now and then.â
âFrom your many admirers?â Minjeong chimed in with a smirk, causing Yizhuo to stifle a laugh.
Jimin shot her friends a look, though she didnât seem bothered. âMaybe,â she said, her eyes flickering back to Y/N, âbut I think theyâve got nothing on Y/N here.â
The warmth in Y/Nâs cheeks intensified as her friends snickered under their breaths. Trying to keep her composure, she managed a small laugh. âThanks, I guess?â
Jimin gave her one last, lingering smile. âYouâre welcome. And, you know, Iâm around if you ever need a study partner.â
Y/Nâs friends practically vibrated with excitement, but she just managed to nod, heart fluttering. âIâll⊠keep that in mind. Thanks again, Jimin.â
With a parting wave, Jimin walked back to her table, Minjeong and Yizhuo leaning close and whispering to her as they all glanced back at Y/Nâs table, clearly entertained by the exchange. Y/Nâs friends immediately turned on her, their eyes wide with delight.
âShe practically offered herself up as a personal tutor,â Rei said, fanning herself. âIf thatâs not interest, I donât know what is!â
âYeah, Y/N, did you hear the part about a âstudy partnerâ?â Gaeul said, nudging her. âPlease tell me youâre not going to let this chance go.â
Y/N was too flustered to respond, her mind replaying Jiminâs lingering gaze and that easy, confident smile. She finally managed a shrug, though her eyes were shining with excitement she couldnât entirely hide. âSheâs just being nice,â she said, almost out of habit. Yujin letâs her head fall on top of the table with a loud bang.
Wonyoung put a hand on Y/Nâs shoulder, giving her a gentle squeeze. âY/N, weâre going to get you to realize whatâs happening here. Jimin likes you, and youâre going to be the last person to figure it out if you keep brushing it off.â
Y/N laughed, unable to deny the thrill in her chest. âIâll try to keep it in mind. I mean⊠it is kind of nice having someone offer to help.â
ââNiceâ?â Yujin echoed, raising an eyebrow. âY/N, this is probably the most sought-after second-year flirting with you. âNiceâ doesnât even begin to cover it.â
Wonyoung leaned in, a soft, amused smile on her face. âAnd when you finally realize it, weâre all going to be right here, watching it unfold.â
Y/N felt a pang of warmth, knowing her friends were just as thrilled as she was, even if she wasnât entirely ready to admit it to herself. As they settled back into their notes, her mind drifted to the book Jimin had handed her, the warmth of Jiminâs gaze still lingering in her memory.
âMaybe,â Y/N murmured, glancing down at the borrowed textbook, âitâs a bit more than nice.â
--
After an intense first week of university, Y/N felt like her brain could use a hard reset. The thought of homeâthe smell of her momâs cooking, the comfort of her own bed, and maybe even a bit of Leeseoâs playful pesteringâwas a welcome change of pace. The train ride home was calming, a chance to breathe as campus life faded into the background, replaced by familiar sights and memories.
When Y/N finally stepped through the door, she was greeted by the smell of something delicious simmering in the kitchen. But before she could even set her bag down, a loud squeal echoed through the house.
âY/N!â Leeseo came barreling down the hallway, a blur of energy as she threw her arms around her sister. âI thought youâd never come back! College hasnât, like, made you too cool for us, has it?â
Y/N rolled her eyes and laughed, returning Leeseoâs hug. âToo cool for you? Never. Iâve actually missed you, believe it or not.â
âOh, I definitely believe it,â Leeseo replied, pulling Y/N down the hall and into her room without missing a beat. âNow, spill everything. I want to know everything about college life, your friends, your classes, the parties youâre probably going toâŠ"
Y/N chuckled, flopping onto her bed and watching Leeseo plop down beside her, eyes wide with excitement and curiosity. She knew there was no way around it. âItâs been⊠a lot, honestly. But good! There are great people, and the classes are intense, but I think Iâm handling it. My friends and I are figuring things out together.â
Leeseoâs eyes narrowed, a playful smirk appearing on her face. âGood people, huh? Do any of those âgood peopleâ happen to be⊠a little extra good?â
Y/Nâs face warmed as she realized where this was heading. âLeeseoâŠâ
âAh-ha! So there is someone!â Leeseo practically squealed, bouncing on the bed. âWho is she? Whatâs her name? Does she have a reputation? Oh my gosh, tell me everything!â
With a resigned sigh, Y/N glanced at her sister, who looked like she was practically vibrating with excitement. âOkay, there might be⊠someone. Her name is Jimin. Sheâs a sophomore. We kind of ran into each other a couple of times this week.â
Leeseoâs eyebrows shot up, her eyes twinkling with interest. âJimin, huh? And sheâs a sophomore? Upperclassmen vibes? This sounds dangerous already.â She leaned in, as if trying to read Y/Nâs thoughts.
âLeeseo, come on. Itâs really not like that. Sheâs just⊠nice, I guess. Friendly.â Y/N paused, realizing how inadequate the word âfriendlyâ sounded when describing Jiminâs smirks and teasing looks. âMaybe a little flirty.â
âOh, I knew it!â Leeseo practically shouted, laughing with delight. âSo, tell meâwhat does âa little flirtyâ mean in Jimin terms?â
Y/N hesitated, memories of their last exchange flickering in her mind. âShe⊠well, she teases me. She called me âdarlingâ instead of my name, stuff like that.â
ââDarlingâ? Oh, Y/N, thatâs definitely not just âfriendly.ââ Leeseoâs eyebrows knitted together, her expression shifting as she absorbed this. âLook, all Iâm saying is, be careful. College sophomores, especially the popular ones⊠theyâre not always serious, you know?â
âOh, I donât think sheâs interested like that,â Y/N said, though a part of her was still turning over those little moments she shared with Jimin. âBesides, I barely know her. I donât even know if she was serious.â
Leeseo sighed dramatically, but her eyes softened. âI just donât want you to get hurt, Y/N. College girlsâespecially the confident onesâcan be hard to read.â
Y/N smiled, nudging Leeseoâs shoulder. âYou know, you sound just like mom right now.â
âMaybe. But I also know what itâs like to fall for someoneâs charm.â Leeseo grinned, a tiny blush coloring her cheeks. âActually⊠I have someone Iâve been meaning to tell you about.â
Y/Nâs eyebrows rose in surprise. âOh? Do tell.â
Leeseo tucked a piece of hair behind her ear, glancing down for a second before looking back up at Y/N with a shy smile. âHer nameâs Eunchae. Sheâs in my grade, and weâve been⊠kind of seeing each other. I wanted to make sure it was real before I said anything.â
Y/Nâs face lit up. âLeeseo! Thatâs amazing! Why didnât you tell me sooner?â
âI donât know⊠I guess I just didnât want to jinx it.â Leeseoâs eyes shone as she spoke, and her happiness was so genuine that it made Y/Nâs heart swell.
Y/N reached over, taking her sisterâs hand and giving it a reassuring squeeze. âIâm so happy for you, Leeseo. I canât wait to meet her.â
Leeseoâs smile widened, and she looked away, embarrassed. âWell, about that⊠youâre actually going to meet her tonight. I invited her over.â
Y/Nâs eyes widened, and she laughed. âAlready? Youâre fast, little sis.â
âOh, stop! Sheâs been dying to meet you too,â Leeseo replied, tossing a pillow at her sister with a laugh. âJust⊠try not to embarrass me, okay?â
The doorbell rang, and Leeseoâs face instantly brightened. âThatâll be her! Be nice!â
Y/N smirked, following Leeseo to the front door. When they opened it, a girl with a bright smile and warm, expressive eyes stood on the porch, looking both eager and slightly shy. She waved at Y/N, offering a friendly smile.
âHi! Iâm Eunchae,â she said, glancing between Leeseo and Y/N.
âHi, Eunchae! Itâs nice to finally meet you,â Y/N replied warmly, giving her a quick hug. âIâve heard a lot about you. Apparently, my sisterâs got good taste.â
Eunchae laughed, her cheeks turning pink as she shot Leeseo a playful glance. âWell, Iâd like to think so.â
Leeseo rolled her eyes, pulling Eunchae further into the house. âCome on, Eunchae, letâs sit down.â
As they settled in the living room, Y/N couldnât help but notice the way Leeseo and Eunchae glanced at each other, the quiet ease and joy between them. She felt a pang of nostalgia, remembering when things had felt just as simple and new.
âAlright, Y/N,â Leeseo said suddenly, snapping her out of her thoughts. âI know Iâm usually the protective one, but Iâve got one request: let me meet this Jimin someday. Just to see if sheâs worth all this thinking youâre doing.â
Y/N chuckled, shaking her head. âOh, no. Itâs really not like that. Sheâs⊠just someone I met. I wouldnât even call her a friend yet; more like an acquaintance.â
Leeseo raised an eyebrow, giving her a look of playful disbelief. âJust an acquaintance? Y/N, I donât think Iâve ever heard you talk about an âacquaintanceâ this much before. Are you sure there isnât a tiny, tiny bit more to it?â
Y/N paused, searching for the right words. âI donât know⊠sheâs intriguing, I guess? But itâs hard to say what her intentions are. Itâs all just been casual run-ins and some light teasing. I canât even tell if sheâs actually interested or just⊠like that with everyone.â
Leeseo tilted her head, considering this. âHmm. Well, college girls like her can be like that sometimesâcharming and mysterious but hard to read. Just be careful, okay?â
Y/N smiled, grateful for her sisterâs protectiveness but feeling a bit unsure herself. âYeah, maybe. For now, though, Iâm just letting things happen. If anything comes of it, youâll both be the first to know.â
Leeseo nodded approvingly, relaxing back into the couch. âGood answer. Thatâs my big sister, smart and cautious,â she said with a teasing wink.
-- The weekend had flown by, and before she knew it, Y/N was back on campus, wading through her Monday routine. Her thoughts drifted now and then to her family and Leeseoâs âlittle sister advice,â which had been circling in her mind like a catchy tune.
She was weaving through the common area, textbooks hugged to her chest, when she heard a familiar voice call out.
âY/N!â
She turned to find Jimin leaning against a nearby column, a confident smile tugging at her lips. Her presence was striking, standing out even in the busy hallway. Y/N felt her pulse quicken as she managed a small smile and walked over.
âHey, Jimin,â she greeted, trying to sound casual despite the flutter in her chest.
âHey yourself.â Jiminâs gaze lingered, and then she tilted her head with a playful smile. âSo, my friends and I are throwing a party on Friday night for students from all years. Thought Iâd see if you and your friends wanted to come.â
Y/Nâs eyebrows raised slightly, feeling a jolt of surprise. âOh⊠that sounds fun. Are you inviting⊠everyone?â she asked, her voice unintentionally hesitant.
Jimin chuckled, reading between the lines. âNot everyone,â she replied smoothly, eyes glinting. âJust the people who seem like they might be able to keep up.â
âOh,â Y/N managed, feeling a little flustered. âWell, yeah, I think we could do that.â
âPerfect.â Jiminâs smile deepened, as if satisfied with Y/Nâs answer. âItâs at the usual spot near the student center. Starts around eight, but feel free to come fashionably late,â she added with a wink. âOh, and donât forget to dress up. Itâs not every day we get a chance to look our best, right?â
Y/N laughed nervously, trying to match Jiminâs relaxed confidence. âGot it. Iâll let everyone know.â
âGreat,â Jimin said, her eyes lingering on Y/N for a beat longer than necessary. âLooking forward to seeing you there.â
With one last smile, Jimin turned and strolled down the hall, leaving Y/N standing there, trying to piece together what had just happened. Did Jimin really mean it for her specifically, or was this just an invitation in passing?
As soon as Jimin disappeared around the corner, Y/Nâs thoughts snapped back to her friends. She quickly sent a text to let them know about the party, her fingers slightly shaky on the screen.
--
That evening, Y/N and the rest of the group met up at their usual café. The excitement in the air was almost palpable, as if the invitation itself was a sign of something bigger.
Wonyoungâs eyes sparkled as she read Y/Nâs text out loud to the group for the third time. âShe said just the people who seem like they can keep up. Y/N, if that doesnât sound like an invitation meant for you, I donât know what does.â
âSeriously, Y/N,â Rei chimed in, grinning widely. âDo you know how rare it is to get invited by Jimin herself? And not just invitedâshe wants you to dress up.â
âMaybe she just wants everyone to look nice,â Y/N mumbled, feeling her cheeks heat up. âShe probably said that to everyone she invited.â
âOr sheâs making sure you show up looking extra cute,â Gaeul teased, nudging her playfully. âI donât know why youâre overthinking this.â
Y/N rolled her eyes, trying to hide her grin. âYou guys are getting ahead of yourselves. Itâs just a party. No big deal.â
âSure,â Wonyoung said, smirking. âItâs not a big deal that Jimin invited you to her party and made a point of wanting you to look nice. No big deal at all.â
âLook,â Y/N sighed, âI just donât want to assume anything. Sheâs probably just being friendly.â
âOr flirty,â Yujin interjected with a smirk, sharing a look with Wonyoung. âJust admit it, Y/Nâyouâre a little bit curious about her.â
Y/N hesitated, trying to find a way out of admitting anything. But her friends werenât having it.
Rei leaned over, her eyes sparkling with excitement. âCome on, Y/N. Itâs a party. Youâll get to know Jimin better, and besides, itâs the perfect excuse to look amazing.â
âFine, Iâll dress up,â Y/N relented with a sigh, fighting a smile. âBut Iâm only doing it so you guys stop giving me such a hard time.â
The group cheered, sharing ideas about what she could wear, swapping makeup tips, and even planning out the details down to Y/Nâs shoes.
--
The night of the party arrived, and the lively hum of music and laughter filled the air long before Y/N and her friends stepped into the house. She felt a blend of excitement and nerves, her friendsâ confidence pushing her forward even as she wondered what tonight might bring.
Y/N had gone all out for the occasion. Her dress, a short, fitted number in a striking midnight blue, hugged her in all the right places, shimmering subtly in the lights as she moved. Sheâd kept her accessories minimalâa delicate necklace and earrings that caught the light whenever she turned her headâbut it was enough to make her feel special. Her friends hadnât stopped admiring her look since theyâd met up to head over.
As Y/N stepped through the threshold, she immediately felt the warmth of the party envelop her. The air was thick with the scent of snacks and the sound of music pulsing through the crowd. People were scattered around the living room, chatting, laughing, and dancing, and the atmosphere was electric with energy.
Spotting Jimin across the room, Y/N's heart skipped a beat. Jimin looked effortlessly cool as ever, dressed down in oversized, light-wash jeans that draped over her chunky white sneakers, paired with a simple black cropped tank top that showcased her toned midriff. Her dark hair was styled in loose waves, framing her face and giving her a carefree, yet put-together appearance. The way she moved through the crowd exuded confidence, and Y/N found herself momentarily mesmerized.
It wasnât long after she arrived that Y/N felt a tap on her shoulder. Turning, she found herself face-to-face with Jimin, whose relaxed smile sent a small shiver down her spine.
"Hey, glad you could make it,â Jimin said, her voice smooth and warm as she held Y/Nâs gaze, the corners of her mouth tilting up slightly.
Y/Nâs heartbeat quickened. âYeah, thanks for inviting me,â she replied, trying to keep her cool.
Jiminâs eyes flicked over her, her gaze lingering for a moment longer than expected. âLooks like you took my advice on dressing up,â she said, a hint of amusement in her tone. âNot that Iâm surprised. You look⊠really nice.â
Heat rose in Y/Nâs cheeks, and she tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear, laughing softly. âThanks. You look pretty good yourself,â she replied, hoping her voice didnât betray how flustered she was.
Jimin chuckled, lifting two drinks from a nearby table and handing one to Y/N. âYou know,â she started, leaning in a little closer so her voice wouldnât get lost in the music, âthereâs someone interesting Iâve noticed in the freshman class.â
âOh?â Y/N asked, sipping her drink to disguise the nervous smile threatening to break out. âWhoâs that?â
Jiminâs gaze softened, a playful glint dancing in her eyes. âJust someone who⊠caught my eye,â she replied, her voice casual but her expression intriguing. âSmart, funny, kind of oblivious sometimes.â
Y/Nâs heart did a small leap, but she shrugged, taking Jiminâs words at face value. âThatâs nice,â she said, assuming it was probably just friendly conversation. âFreshman class is full of interesting people.â
Jiminâs eyes softened with a hint of exasperation, her lips tilting up into a smirk. âYeah, I guess it is,â she replied, giving Y/N a playful nudge. âBut I think this one is a little more interesting than the rest. You should get to know her better.â
âMaybe,â Y/N replied, a hint of teasing in her voice. âBut Iâm not so sure sheâd want to get to know me.â
âOh, I think she would,â Jimin said, her tone flirtatious as she leaned closer, her warm breath sending shivers down Y/N's spine. âAfter all, who wouldnât want to be friends with you?â
Y/N laughed nervously, the compliment making her cheeks flush. âYou really think so?â
âDefinitely,â Jimin said, her smile brightening. âYouâre pretty unforgettable.â
Just then, a loud cheer erupted from the crowd nearby, breaking the moment. Jiminâs attention momentarily shifted, and Y/N seized the chance to collect herself.
âWant me to get us some drinks?â Jimin asked, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.Â
âSure! I could use one,â Y/N replied, trying to play it cool, even as her heart raced.
âAlright, donât go anywhere!â Jimin winked before she turned and weaved her way through the bustling crowd. Y/N watched her go, feeling a flutter in her chest that she couldnât quite explain.
--
Minutes passed, and Y/N found herself glancing toward the kitchen, expecting Jimin to reappear at any moment. But as the seconds stretched into what felt like an eternity, unease began to settle in. Whatâs taking so long?
Five minutes had come and gone, and still no sign of Jimin. Y/N took a sip of her drink, trying to shake off the nagging worry. It was a party, after all; it wasnât unusual for people to get distracted. Yet, the more she waited, the more anxious she became.
Finally, unable to quell her curiosity any longer, Y/N decided to check on Jimin. She pushed through the throng of bodies, her heart pounding as she made her way toward the kitchen area. As she approached, she caught sight of Jimin standing near the counter, but her heart dropped as she noticed she was not alone.
Jimin was leaning in close to another freshman girl, their heads nearly touching as they laughed at something shared between them. The scene struck Y/N like a cold wave, the warmth of the party around her fading into a dull roar.Â
Oh
Jiminâs relaxed demeanor and the way she tilted her head back in laughter sent a sharp pang of jealousy through Y/N. She couldnât help but feel small and unimportant, an outsider watching from the sidelines. The easy chemistry between Jimin and the other girl was undeniable, and Y/N felt a familiar sting in her chest that she had hoped to avoid tonight.
With her heart racing and a knot tightening in her stomach, Y/N turned away, trying to push the unwanted thoughts from her mind. Youâve known her for a week, get ahold of yourself she reminded herself, but the thought felt hollow. She couldnât deny that a part of her was disappointed, despite knowing Jimin had every right to talk to whomever she pleased.
Y/N made her way back to the dance floor, seeking solace in the vibrant energy of her friends. As she approached, Wonyoung and Yujin were still dancing, their laughter infectious, but Y/N felt out of place.
âY/N! There you are!â Wonyoung exclaimed, pulling her into a quick spin. âWe were wondering where you went! Gaeul is getting some drinks and I think Rei and Jiwon are in the bathroom, doing god knows whatâ
Y/N forced a smile, trying to shake off the earlier encounter. âJust checking on Jimin,â she said, her voice casual despite the turmoil inside. âSheâs... busy.â
âBusy how?â Yujin asked, arching an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued.
Y/N shrugged, trying to play it cool. âJust talking to someone else. No big deal.â
Wonyoung looked at her knowingly. âOh, you mean that girl over there?â She pointed to the corner where Jimin was still chatting with the other freshman. âLooks like theyâre having fun.â
Y/Nâs heart sank a little further. âYeah, I guess,â she mumbled, feeling a wave of frustration wash over her. âItâs whatever.â
Yujin exchanged a glance with Wonyoung,
âForget about her!â Yujin encouraged, her tone lightening as she grabbed Y/Nâs hand. âCome dance with us! Youâre here to have fun, remember?â
Y/N sighed but knew they were right. She had come to enjoy herself, and standing off to the side worrying about Jimin was not going to change anything. So, with a reluctant nod, she allowed her friends to pull her into the lively crowd, the pulsating music drowning out the worries that still swirled in her mind.
The bass pulsed through the dance floor as Y/N moved to the beat, slowly letting the music drown out her unease. She let herself get lost in the rhythm, and for a moment, she even forgot about Jimin chatting away with that other girl.
âMind if I join you?â Yunjinâs voice broke through her thoughts, bright and full of confidence. She flashed a smile as Y/N blinked in surprise. Before Y/N could even respond, Yunjin had closed the gap between them, her hands finding a comfortable spot on Y/Nâs waist as they started to move together.
Encouraged by Wonyoung and Yujinâs excited cheers, Y/N allowed herself to relax, finding herself caught up in the moment. Yunjinâs playful energy was contagious, and soon enough, they were laughing and dancing like theyâd known each other for ages. With every playful flirt Yunjin tossed her way, Y/N felt herself blushing, but she leaned into it, glad for the distraction.
Thatâs when she felt itâsomeone watching them. She turned, catching sight of Jimin across the room, her gaze fixed and sharp. Jiminâs usual cool, laid-back demeanor was gone, replaced by something else entirely. Her jaw was set, her arms crossed as she watched Yunjinâs hands slide down to rest on Y/Nâs hips, their bodies swaying closer than before.
Jimin pushed through the crowd, her eyes narrowing as she approached. By the time she reached them, Yunjinâs arm was draped over Y/Nâs shoulder, and Y/Nâs laugh had grown into a carefree smile. But as Jimin stepped right in front of them, Y/N felt the tension spark in the air.
âHey, Y/N,â Jimin said, her tone measured, but her eyes betrayed a hint of irritation. âBeen looking all over for you.â
Y/N hesitated, feeling the tension settle in her stomach. âOh, um⊠didnât mean to make you worry,â she replied, offering a small smile.
But Yunjin, still holding her close, wasnât about to back down. âYouâve only known her for what, a week? Iâm sure she was fine without you, Jimin,â she said with a smirk, her voice laced with a bit too much confidence.
Jiminâs eyes flicked to Yunjin, her gaze hardening. âYouâd be surprised,â she replied, her tone calm but edged with something that made Y/Nâs pulse quicken. âWeâve actually gotten to know each other pretty well.â
âOh yeah?â Yunjin shot back, raising an eyebrow as she held Y/N a little tighter. âWell, looks like Iâm getting to know her pretty well too.â
The tension between them was palpable, and Y/N felt herself caught right in the middle of it. She looked from Yunjin to Jimin, her heart hammering as the two seemed locked in a silent battle.
Jiminâs gaze never left Yunjinâs as she took a step closer, closing the distance between them. âI think Y/N can speak for herself,â she said coolly, looking at Y/N with an intensity that made her breath hitch. âDonât you, Y/N?â
Y/N swallowed, feeling the weight of their gazes on her. She was painfully aware of Yunjinâs arm around her and the way Jiminâs eyes held hers with a mix of challenge and something else she couldnât quite place. âI⊠um⊠I was just⊠dancing,â she stammered, her voice barely audible over the music.
Jiminâs lips tilted into a smirk as if sheâd won some unspoken argument. She reached out, gently brushing her fingers along Y/Nâs arm, her touch warm and grounding. âMind if I steal you back?â she asked, her voice soft but laced with something that sent a shiver down Y/Nâs spine.
Yunjin scoffed, still unwilling to give in. âYou know, Jimin, if you wanted a dance, you couldâve just asked,â she said, challenging. âBut it seems like Y/N was having a good time without you.â
Jiminâs eyes darkened, but she didnât break eye contact. âFunny, I was about to say the same thing to you,â she replied, the corner of her mouth twitching up in a smile that held no warmth.
Y/N felt her cheeks burn as she realized just how intense the moment had become. Her friends had started to gather around, sensing the tension, and she could feel their curious gaze on her. Aeri, Minjeong and Yizhuo had also appeared beside Jimin, each watching the interaction with barely concealed interest.
âEverything alright here?â Aeri asked, her eyes darting between Jimin, Yunjin, and Y/N.
Y/N cleared her throat, suddenly feeling exposed under the watchful eyes of their friends. âUm, yeah, everythingâs fine,â she said, giving a nervous laugh as she tried to defuse the tension. âJust⊠dancing.â
But Jiminâs gaze softened as she looked at her, and a flicker of something vulnerable appeared in her eyes, as if she were silently asking Y/N to choose her. âY/N,â she said softly, reaching for her hand, âcan we talk?â
Yunjin opened her mouth to protest, but Y/N, feeling overwhelmed, gently stepped back from both of them, her heart pounding. âActually, I think I need some air,â she said quickly, her voice shaky. Without another word, she slipped out of their grasp and wove her way through the crowd, feeling the weight of their gazes on her as she hurried toward the exit.
The cool night air hit her as she stepped outside, her heart racing as she put more distance between herself and the party. Her phone buzzed repeatedly in her hand, and a quick glance revealed several messages from Jimin, each one growing more urgent, and a few from Yunjin as well. But she didnât have it in her to respond.
She kept walking, her steps quickening until she was finally back at the quiet solace of her dorm. Once inside, she leaned against the door, letting out a long, shaky breath. Ignoring the continuous buzz of her phone, she only replied to a single messageâGaeulâs, who had texted to check in.
Iâm safe. Just needed to get away. Iâll see you tomorrow, she typed before shutting off her phone and sinking onto her bed.
Hahaha, fuck.
Y/N screamed into her pillow. --
Y/N lay sprawled out on her bed, staring at her phone. Last night kept replaying in her mind. And all her other interactions with Jimin.
What am I doing? she thought. Why am I even overthinking this? Maybe Jimin was just being friendly, maybe thatâs all it was. Sheâd probably done all those sweet things to dozens of freshmen before. Y/N felt a pang of embarrassment at how easily sheâd gotten swept up by it all.
She decided to text her friends and turned on her phone.
Her phone buzzing woke her up of her 10 minute nap.
There is no motherfucking way.
--
Y/N couldnât even send her final message before she heard a knock on the door. Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.
Taking a deep breath, she scrambled to check her reflection in the small mirror by the door, smoothing down her hair and pulling herself together. Okay, just act natural. Pretend itâs no big deal. But her hands shook as she finally opened the door.
There stood Jimin, looking effortlessly cool as always, with a casual hoodie and that soft, knowing smile that never failed to make Y/Nâs heart flutter. She held up her phone, her gaze flickering between Y/N and the screen. âI believe I got a text meant for someone else?â Her tone was playful, but there was something in her eyesâa glint of curiosity, maybe even amusement.
Heat rushed to Y/Nâs face. âWel! You see!!â She forced a laugh, hoping it didnât sound as awkward as it felt. âThatâthat was not for you, obviously. Fuck, I am so sorry-â
Jimin let out a soft laugh, stepping into the room as Y/N shut the door. âItâs okay. Really,â she said, putting her phone away as she looked around the dorm. âI mean, I was a littleâŠsurprised, but alsoââ Her gaze softened, the smile turning sincere. ââIâm kind of glad I got it. Now I know Iâm not the only one whoâs been feeling something.â
âHahaha, yeah, of course.â Y/N nodded. Then she blinked. âWait, what?â
Jimin laughed. âYou really are adorable.â She smiled. âI just meanâŠwell, Iâve noticed you, too. Iâve noticed that itâs different, with you.â She paused, as if choosing her words carefully, her eyes never leaving Y/Nâs. âAnd thatâs not something I get to feel very often.â
Y/N felt her cheeks heat up, and she immediately looked down at her feet, a flustered laugh bubbling out. âOh, well, umâŠâ She bit her lip, struggling to form a coherent response. âI didnât, uh, mean for you toâŠfind out. Like, that. But, umâŠyeah, thatâsâŠwow. Cool. Thatâs cool.â
Cool? There is no way brother.
Jimin let out a chuckle, and somehow that made it worse. âTell you what,â she said, her tone as easygoing as ever. âWhy donât we grab a coffee this weekend? We can pretend I didnât read that text, and maybe you can tell me more of whatâs on your mind. Sounds fair?â
Y/Nâs brain struggled to keep up. Coffee? She nodded so enthusiastically she probably looked like a bobblehead. âYes! I mean, yes, sure, Iâm down, sounds nice.â
I need to shut THE FUCK up.
Jiminâs eyes sparkled with amusement as she reached out, giving Y/Nâs shoulder a playful nudge. âRelax,â she murmured, her voice soft. âItâs just coffee. No pressure.â
âRight, right, of course,â Y/N stammered, even as her heart pounded against her ribs. âJustâŠcoffee.â
With a warm smile, Jimin lingered for a second, her gaze drifting from Y/Nâs eyes to her lips and back up again. The air between them felt charged. Then, almost instinctively, Jimin leaned in, her hand finding Y/Nâs waist.
Y/Nâs breath hitched, her heart hammering in her chest as Jiminâs face moved closer. She could feel Jiminâs warmth, her soft breath fanning across her skin, and before she could think twice, their lips met in a gentle, lingering kiss. It was soft, tentativeâyet filled with a warmth that sent a thrill through her entire body.
When they pulled back, Y/N was too stunned to do anything but stare at Jimin, her cheeks flushed and her mind racing. Jiminâs smile turned a little shyer, her thumb brushing lightly over Y/Nâs hip before she took a small step back.
âIâll text you the details,â she murmured, her eyes sparkling as she gave a little wave. With one last look, she disappeared down the hall, leaving Y/N breathless.
As soon as the door shut, Y/N sank onto her bed, covering her burning face with her hands.
She screeched.

đđ y. jimin ( ì ì§ëŻŒ )
synopsis | she was the bestest friend you...had.
pairing : karina x fem!reader genre : drabble, fluff, f2l warnings : language, mentions of kissing & being drunk word count : 435
authors note : i need a gf but i also live in the us lolz
âYouâve got someâŠâ The woman sitting across from you trailed off, swiping her thumb across your upper lip. She leaned on her elbows, further over the table as your eyes went wide.
âO-oh, sorry.â You stuttered, mentally and verbally.
She laughed, her head angling. She stared so deeply it wouldâve been intimidating if it was anyone else.
Truthfully, you and Jimin have flirted shamelessly your entire friendship. However, now that you were actually on a date together, all you could be was shy, avoiding her eye contact.
You used to never be able to beat the dating allegations, but now that they were trueâŠyou had no idea what to do. Could you still hold her hand in public spaces? Could you still say you were gonna kiss her and when sheâd do something to help you out? Could you still promise her you were going to marry her one day?
You guess, in reality, nothing and everything has changed.
She laughed, âDonât apologize, itâs cute.â
You fought with another stutterâGod, you donât know why she was making you so nervous. Youâd known her for a long time, she was your best friend for fuck sake. Whatâs the difference if now sheâll become your girlfriend one day?
Somewhere deep down, you knew it was bound to happen anyways.
From the stolen glances, to hands held too long. The drunken kisses shared between friends who always walked a thin line. It was the arms wrapped around each other in the dead of night, when the moon was your only witness.
It was her hands that always knew just how hard to pull on your heartstrings.
She finally earned your eye-contact, pupils dilating with attraction. You could see it.
The green grass, the gray sided house and wooden holiday cabin. You could see the smiling faces, and teary-eyed I doâs. Everything flashed. The first time your fingers brushed and the lips pressed. The first argument and sorrowful hugs of apologies. The first sleepover after a movie night that went a little too long. Meeting friends, and going out to eat. Dancing and singing around the kitchen at all hours of the night. Breakfast in the morning. Surprise birthday parties that were thrown year after year.
Your eyes met and everything around you stopped.
If this wasnât what love at first sight was supposed to feel like then the movies mustâve gotten it wrong. You saw her under a different glow now that the title has changed; through eyes that said I love you a little too seriously.
But you loved her, seriously. You always have, and now, you always will.

hi, can u do gp Karina x reader?
I have been feral over rina and step sis smut so I had to write one!!!
STEP-SIS RINA!!
Pairings: Step-sister G!p Karina x step-sister Fem reader!
Word count: 1k-ish
Warnings: alcohol consumption, drunk sex, p in v, words bitch, slut, whore etc used, mean Karina, switch reader and rina, make out session, parents divorce, pantie stealing, kinda fuck girl rina, step-cest, unprotected sex (donât be silly wrap your Willy), not proofread and just nasty smut!!!
âââââââââââââââââââââââââ
Moving or changing environments was never something you enjoyed. Each time you moved to a new house, you were met with an unfamiliar and hollow feeling. When you found out that your parents were separating and everyone would be starting a new life in different homes, it felt like a sharp pain in your heart. And to add to that, your mother has found a new man, which means that youâre going to move in with him and his bitch of a daughter.
Karina was never nice to you, you knew her since high school. She was a bitch, heartbreaker, mean attitude and what you call a whore. She has fucked every girl youâd think of principals daughter, fucked. Girls football Teams captain, done ages ago. Girls basketball teams coach, done. Every girl that would pass by, lured already.
She could literally get anyone down between her legs, sucking her cock dry. Only one person has never acknowledged her, you. You saw her as an attention-begging bitch, whose chin is up.
That made Karinaâs jaw clench in humiliation. She made tons of plans but none of them worked, all of them failing miserably. The way you never even glance her way or give her the attention that she wants. She almost gave up untilâŠ
She found out her dad was moving in with your mom, it was like discovering a $100 bill on the street, waiting for someone to claim it. And what a fool she would be if she didn't grip that chance.
During the first meeting between your mother, yourself, and her father, she was smiling brightly and talking non-stop. She was showering you and your mom with compliments and fake pouting when it was time for you to leave. Her fake act was so fake that it made you feel nauseous and you wanted to vomit.
And thatâs how she acted every time your mom and her man were around, doing the most stomach aching fake shit she could ever muster. You never even flashed a smile towards her, your mom thought you were too mean and rude to your step-sister who was only trying to be a good sister to you.đ„șđ
She eavesdropped when your mom was talking to you, or more like complaining about how you should start getting grip of your mean attitude. Even tho she is the mean one here, she only plastered one of her signature smirks and headed towards her room.
Your parents were leaving for their honeymoon, leaving you and that annoying thing all alone andâŠ.together. Like you thought things canât get worse but oh how wrong you were.
You hated to admit or acknowledge this, the agitated tension replaced by sexual tension. You donât know why or how, but the way she left lingering touches on your thigh. Or how she rubbed her crotch against your heat when passing by you in the kitchen or how she stole your used panties and jerked off to them, you know each piece of your panties and the one she stole was your favorite so you immediately noticed when it got lost, only finding it under her bed days later when your mom told you to clean her room since Karina is all day out.
You smirked to yourself and decided to play with her further, your outfits getting skimpier and skimpier each passing day. Your clothed heat rubbing against her uncomfortable erection a little longer or the way your boobs press against her back.
You were laying comfortably on your bed scrolling through whatever shit that popped up into your feed. Karina was out in those frat parties probably a girl bent over and against some available counter for her, ramming her cock in and out of that slutty pussy.
But to your surprise she was not. She was downstairs having her own bar at home, drinking anything that she had her hands on, her alcohol tolerance was high and she could drink and be perfectly fine. So when she came to your room, alcohol smell overshadowing her expensive perfume you knew that she had drunk a lot and is not in her right senses.
âKarina what are you-â you got cut off with a strong whiskey tasting kiss, it was like you were the one who drunk not her, for actually kissing her back. Even tho your mind hated this, your heart loved every bit of it. Your lips dancing against each otherâs passionately. She bit your lower lip earning a gasp from you, her tongue moving inside your mouth exploring your mouth, then her tongue started sucking your tongue.
Her hands roamed all over your body, not knowing where to touch first. Her fingers impatiently fiddling with the straps of your top, letting it slide down along the strap of your bra. Your neck area and the sexy parting of your boobs, leaving her mouth watered. She started kissing down your jaw then neck and chest, coating all this area with her saliva, and the saliva that once was in your mouth.
Her hands squishing and squeezing your soft mounds, the smell of the alcohol and those intoxicating kisses making your brain shut and mind dizzy. Desire swiping off all the thoughts of this being wrong.
Your hand traveled down to her sweats, palming the rock hard erection that she has been slowly humping against your legs. You massaged it and rubbed small circles over it, making her hiss in the pleasurable pain, wanting more.
You changed positions, you now on top of her. Your clit making contact with her base, grinding yourself against it, high pitched moans threatening to fall, but you couldnât care less and let them fall.
Her swinging her hips and rubbing her erection back at you. The friction more and better.
You lifted yourself up and slid down her sweats then boxers. Her cock springing out, red and heavy, blood rushing through it. You discarded your shorts and top, throwing them in the same pile as her sweatpants. Your legs were in each side of her hips, you lifted yourself up once more before sinking down on her length. A choked moan from you and a groan from her. Her tip hit your g-spot perfectly. You stayed there not moving, enjoying the sight of her so desperate and hungry for you. Squirming trying to start thrusting back up at you, gripping your waist so tightly, that red nail marks were there.
You leaned down on her, making your boobs suffocate her. She took a deep inhale, processing your perfume. The smell that made her crave you more and a low whine escaped her lips.
You decided enough teasing. You started sinking your core down to meet her tip, which parted your folds deliciously. Whimpers coming from the both of you. You fucked yourself faster, using her as your own personal dildo.
Her loud groans echoing through the room along with your moans. She was always dominant in every hook up she had, but being the submissive for once was different type of pleasure. One she didnât think sheâd like this much.
The pornographic scene and noises that came out of you and the way you basically were jumping on her dick. Made her cum shoot deep inside your womb, your tummy slightly swollen and your juices ran down your thighs then her pelvis. Your tight hole squeezing her now more.
She laid there limp and you laid on top of her. Not long after she was in a deep slumber, you were admiring her deeply, you never knew how pretty she actually is till now.
Deep down you maybe loved this even more than her.

see you very soon
Kim Minjeong x Yu Jimin x Reader
a/n: a bit tipsy and decided to word vomit a prompt from my friend. not proofread, i just ducking yapped.
Minjeong giggled at your pouty request. You were on a video call with her while you were drunk at a friendâs house. You just wanted to see her so bad. Itâs been a week since youâve seen your sunshine personified and you wanted nothing but to curl up in her arms and breathe in her scent. Just thinking about it gives you comfort. She was your best friend after all.
Best friend⊠A friend⊠Just her friendâŠ
But god, you were so fucking in love with her.
You and Minjeong have known each other since high school, when you accidentally sent a rouge volleyball straight to her head. She was a year older than you and you were in gym class terrorized by your teacher to do a serve. Minjeong just finished putting up a banner and is about to go out of the gym when the ball swooshed from across the room straight to the back of her head. You rushed to her immediately to apologize and when she looked at you with that pout you canât help the heat flush on your cheeks and chuckled. The rest, as they say, is history.
You didnât think about any of it at first. Youâre just happy that you found a new friend, a study buddy, and a fellow book nerd. That summer of her senior year, It was after that peculiar night where you both stayed up until the wee hours of the morning that you suddenly caught yourself smiling and you know youâre in trouble.
You felt sick when you realized how wild the stupid butterflies were fluttering in your tummy.
No no no. This canât be happening. Not her. Not Minjeong. You canât be all flustered around her since you always have talk to her. Especially not when sheâs off to college soon. That distance will make you yearn more. Itâs sick. But you gotta at least make it through her senior year, right?
You almost folded a lot of times. As always, Minjeong is the sweetest. She even helped you on your subjects for your junior year. But you also learned that you wonât be getting to spend the whole year with her because of her early acceptance to the uni sheâs been dreaming of. You were happy for her, but also sad and nervous because your feelings have been eating your heart out.
A week. Thatâs how long she was away from you from her uni welcome week. She was supposed to go back home a bit before early acceptance classes starts and you were contemplating on taking her out for a date and tell her how you feel.
You video called her while in a senior party and asked felt so giddy to ask her out. Youâre a bit tipsy and you know your courage is up the roof. So you pouted asking her out on a date. Minjeong giggled and you felt your heart soar. You grinned at her and was about to say something when you saw someone peek over the video.
You stopped dead and felt a cold feeling creep up on your veins. Minjeong smiled, a smile so new to your eyes albeit a little shy. With a crinkle in her eyes she sheepishly introduced you to Jimin. And you knew then that you already lost the fight without even going to war.
You donât really hear her explaining how they met and all that she said. All you heard is âIâm so excited for you to meet each other! See you very soon okay?â
You nodded slightly, but in your mind you knew that you wonât have the strength to. You whispered, âsee you very soon.â
Inspired by Laufeyâs Promise
a/n: canât fucking believe they made me write this in the corner while weâre drinking đ sorry for the mistakes lmao. hope youâre happy, bestie. mwa.

How to Kidnap a Mafia Boss: A Step by Step Guide - Karina x Fem!Reader
13K Words
Now, her night had taken a turn for the worse. Ninaâs ex-boyfriend, who had the temperament of a rabid raccoon, had shown up uninvited, creating a scene that had them fleeing the club like fugitives.
âNina, you owe me for this,â Y/N muttered under her breath, fumbling with her car keys as she fast-walked toward what she thought was her car. Her hands shook slightly as she unlocked the door. She was just grateful Nina had ditched the ex in time for her to make a clean getaway.
The parking garage was far too quiet, the kind of quiet that makes every soundâlike the echo of her own footstepsâseem amplified and sinister. She couldnât shake the feeling that she was being watched, her paranoia fueled by the faint scuff of shoes against concrete somewhere behind her.
"Just get to the car, Y/N," she whispered, clutching her phone in one hand and her tiny purse in the other.
She glanced over her shoulder and swore she saw movement in the shadows. Her heartbeat spiked. Nope, nope, nope, she thought, practically throwing herself into the driverâs seat. She slammed the door shut and locked it, her breath coming out in shallow gasps.
Fumbling, she jammed the key into the ignition, and the engine roared to life. Without hesitation, she backed out of the space and sped toward the exit ramp, desperate to put as much distance as possible between her and the creepy parking garage.
As the cold night air seeped through a cracked window, she exhaled slowly, trying to calm her racing heart. "Okay, Y/N, youâre safe. Itâs fine. Just head home andâ"
A muffled groan cut through the air like a knife.
She froze, her hands gripping the steering wheel so tightly her knuckles turned white. Her eyes darted to the rearview mirror, but it was too dark to see much of anything.
Another groan, this time louder.
Y/Nâs pulse thundered in her ears. Her mouth went dry as she slowly turned her head, half-expecting to find a horror movie monster or a deranged hitchhiker. Instead, her eyes landed on a figure slumped in the back seatâa woman with sharp, striking features, her arms bound tightly behind her back and a gag over her mouth.
Y/Nâs scream tore through the car, shrill and panicked.
The woman jolted slightly, her eyes narrowing in annoyance rather than fear. She let out a muffled sound through the gag, which only made Y/N scream again.
âOh my god! Oh my god! WhatâwhoâwhyâWHAT?!â Y/N shrieked, scrambling for her phone and nearly dropping it in her lap.
The woman in the back seat tilted her head and raised an eyebrow, her bound hands twitching slightly as if to say, Calm down.
âCalm down?! Youâre tied up in my back seat! What is happening?!â Y/N babbled, her voice pitching higher with every word.
The woman let out another muffled groan, this one decidedly annoyed, and jerked her head toward the gag as if to say, Take it off.
Y/N shook her head wildly. âOh, no, no, no. You could be some kind of psycho! What if this is a trap? What if youâre a mob boss or something?â
The woman rolled her eyes so hard Y/N swore she could hear it. She let out a string of muffled sounds that were probably curses, her gaze sharp and exasperated.
Y/N took a shaky breath, trying to process the surreal situation. She looked from the woman to the road ahead, realizing she was still idling at the bottom of the parking ramp. She reached for the gear shift, her hands trembling.
âOkay,â she muttered to herself, âyouâre going to pull over and figure this out. Youâre not a criminal. Youâre not involved in some weird mob thing. This is just... a misunderstanding.â
--
The city lights faded behind Y/N as she sped down a quiet back road, her mind a chaotic swirl of questions, expletives, and mounting panic.
âWhat the hell do I do? What do I do?â she muttered, glancing nervously at the woman in the back seat. The womanâstill bound and gaggedâlooked more annoyed than terrified, her sharp eyes tracking Y/N like a hawk.
Y/Nâs car sputtered to a stop on the shoulder of the road. She threw it into park and buried her face in her hands, trying to suppress the urge to scream again. She failed miserably.
âOkay, okay, letâs just... think this through,â she said aloud, more to herself than to her mysterious passenger. She turned in her seat, facing the woman.
âSo,â she began, her voice wavering, âwho... who are you? And why are you tied up? Blink once if youâre in danger. Blink twice ifââ
The woman blinked. Once.
âOh god.â Y/N clutched her chest, the reality of her situation sinking in. âAre you serious right now? Am I, like, an accessory to a crime? Did I just become an accomplice?!â
The womanâs exasperated groan brought Y/N back to the present. She motioned with her head toward the gag, her eyes practically screaming, Take it off, you idiot.
Y/N recoiled. âOh no, you donât! What if youâre, I donât know, dangerous? You could be a ninja or... or an assassin!â
The womanâs expression darkened. She slumped against the seat and let out a muffled sigh that sounded suspiciously like Oh, for the love of...
Y/Nâs guilt began to outweigh her paranoia. After all, the woman didnât look like a ninja. And her sharp, tailored suitânow wrinkled and slightly tornâwas more âCEO at a power brunchâ than âtrained killer.â
âFine,â Y/N said with a reluctant sigh, reaching into the back seat. âBut if you try anything funny, Iâll... Iâllââ
The womanâs raised eyebrow stopped her mid-sentence.
âRight, youâre tied up,â Y/N mumbled, her cheeks flushing.
She fumbled with the gag, finally pulling it free.
The woman coughed softly before licking her lips and fixing Y/N with a level stare. Then, with a voice that was calm, low, and laced with biting sarcasm, she said, âSo, whatâs your plan, kidnapper?â
Y/N froze. âExcuse me?â
âYou heard me,â the woman replied, her tone far too casual for someone in her predicament. âYou abducted me. Whatâs your next move? Ransom? Interrogation? A dramatic villain monologue?â
âI didnât abduct you!â Y/N protested, her voice climbing. âI-I didnât even know you were in the car! This is all... this is just one big misunderstanding!â
The womanâs lips twitched, a hint of amusement breaking through her otherwise unimpressed expression. âSure. A misunderstanding. Totally normal to flee a parking garage with a bound woman in your back seat. Happens all the time.â
Y/N groaned, slumping forward until her forehead hit the steering wheel. âThis cannot be my life right now.â
--
An hour later, they were sitting in a dimly lit room in the sketchiest motel Y/N could find. The neon sign outside flickered ominously, casting the word âVACAN_â in garish red light across the peeling wallpaper.
Jiminâshe had introduced herself with a sly smile and zero contextâsat at the rickety table, sipping tea she had somehow brewed with the motelâs ancient coffee maker. She looked completely at ease, as if she werenât a recently liberated captive but rather a guest at a particularly questionable Airbnb.
Meanwhile, Y/N paced the room, her phone clutched in one hand as she frantically Googled things like what to do when you accidentally kidnap someone and is returning a kidnapped person illegal?
âYouâre going to wear a hole in that carpet,â Jimin remarked, her tone light.
âNot helping!â Y/N shot back, her voice cracking under the weight of her growing hysteria. âI donât even know how I got into this mess! One minute Iâm running from Ninaâs psycho ex, and the next... you! In my car! What were you even doing there?!â
Jimin tilted her head, her dark eyes glittering with mischief. âWould you believe me if I said I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time?â
Y/N stopped pacing and leveled her with a look. âNo. No, I would not.â
âSmart girl.â Jimin smirked, taking another sip of tea.
Y/N groaned and flopped onto the bed, staring at the cracked ceiling. âI just want my normal, boring life back.â
âBoring, huh?â Jimin leaned back in her chair, studying Y/N like she was some fascinating puzzle. âMaybe this is fate. You needed a little excitement, and I needed... well, a ride, apparently.â
âExcitement?â Y/N sat up, incredulous. âThis is not excitement. This is a nightmare! Iâm pretty sure Iâm committing multiple felonies right now.â
Jimin laughed softly, the sound warm and unexpectedly charming. âRelax, Y/N. I wonât tell anyone. Your secretâs safe with me.â
âThatâs not comforting!â Y/N buried her face in her hands.
Jiminâs smile widened, and for the first time that night, there was a flicker of genuine softness in her expression. âYouâre kind of funny, you know that?â
Y/N peeked at her through her fingers. âFunny? Seriously?â
Jimin shrugged. âA little. I mean, youâre clearly in over your head, but youâre trying. Itâs... endearing.â
Y/N groaned again, flopping back onto the bed. âKill me now.â
âNo need for dramatics,â Jimin said with a chuckle, standing and stretching. âYouâve already got a mafia boss in your motel room. Isnât that enough excitement for one night?â
Y/Nâs head snapped up. âMafia boss?! Wait, youâre joking, right? Please tell me youâre joking.â
But Jimin didnât answer. She just smiled, enigmatic and infuriating, and turned back to her tea.
Y/N sank back against the pillows, her mind spinning. Whatever this was, it was far from over.
--
The motel room was as depressing as a B-movie horror set. The peeling wallpaper reeked of mildew, the flickering ceiling light buzzed ominously, and the lone bed looked like it had seen one too many questionable nights. Y/N, still in a full state of panic, paced back and forth while Jimin lounged on the creaky chair by the window.
âYouâre hiding from people who work for me, by the way,â Jimin remarked, scrolling lazily through her phone. âIn this dump. Bold strategy.â
Y/N froze mid-step, turning to glare at her unwelcome passenger. âCould you, like, not right now? Iâm trying to figure out how to fix this!â
Jiminâs gaze flicked up from her phone, one elegant eyebrow arching. âFix it? Sweetheart, youâve kidnapped the wrong person. This is less âfixableâ and more... whatâs the word? Oh, rightâimpossible.â
âDonât call me sweetheart,â Y/N snapped, clutching her phone in a death grip.
âTouchy,â Jimin mused, her lips curving into a small smirk. âBut seriously, if youâre going to go on the run, maybe aim for somewhere a bit... nicer? This place screams âcriminal on the lam.ââ She gestured around the room, her expression faintly disgusted.
Y/N groaned, throwing herself onto the edge of the bed and burying her face in her hands. âWhy is this happening to me? I didnât even mean to kidnap anyone!â She peeked through her fingers, narrowing her eyes at Jimin. âAnd you seem weirdly okay with this.â
Jimin shrugged, tucking her phone into her pocket. âNot my first rodeo.â
âWhat does that even mean?â Y/N asked, her voice pitching higher in disbelief.
Before Jimin could answer, her phone buzzed. She glanced at the screen, sighed, and tapped out a quick reply.
âAre you seriously texting right now?â Y/N asked, incredulous. âWho are you even talking to?â
âOh, just a couple of people who are probably freaking out because Iâve been kidnapped.â Jiminâs voice was laced with amusement, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
âWait, WHAT?!â Y/N shot up, panic written all over her face. âYouâre telling people where we are? Are you trying to get me arrestedâor worse?!â
Jimin laughed, a sound so carefree it felt wildly out of place in their current situation. âRelax, Iâm not giving them our location. Iâm just telling them Iâm alive. Gotta keep my people loyal, you know?â
Y/N flopped back onto the bed, muttering to herself. âIâm so dead. This is how I die. In a disgusting motel with a mafia boss who probably thinks this is all a joke.â
Jimin grinned. âIt kind of is, isnât it?â
âNo, itâs not!â Y/N shot back, her voice cracking. âThis is serious! I have no idea how to deal with... with this!â She gestured wildly in Jiminâs direction.
Jimin leaned back in her chair, propping her feet up on the rickety table. âHereâs an idea: stop panicking. Order some food. Maybe a drink. Itâs not like you can do much else tonight.â
Y/N stared at her, aghast. âFood? You want to order food? Youâre a hostage!â
Jimin gave her a pitying look. âHoney, youâre the one who took me. Youâre not exactly following the hostage manual either. Might as well make the best of it.â
Before Y/N could protest further, Jimin picked up the room phone and dialed.
âWait, are you seriously calling room service?â Y/N asked, her voice filled with both disbelief and awe.
Jimin winked. âYep. Canât think on an empty stomach.â
--
Twenty minutes later, a knock sounded at the door. Y/N jumped to her feet, her heart pounding. âWhat if itâs the police? Or... or your mafia people?!â
Jimin rolled her eyes. âItâs room service. Chill.â
Y/N crept toward the door and peeked through the peephole. Sure enough, it was just a bored-looking teenager in a rumpled motel uniform holding a tray of food.
She opened the door just enough to grab the tray, then slammed it shut and turned to Jimin. âYouâre unbelievable,â she muttered, setting the tray down.
âThank you,â Jimin said with a grin, grabbing a sandwich and taking a bite.
Y/N watched her, torn between frustration and begrudging admiration for how unfazed Jimin was by... well, everything.
âDo you, like, care that youâve been kidnapped?â Y/N finally asked, sitting back down on the bed.
Jimin considered this as she chewed, then swallowed. âNot really. You seem harmless, and this is more entertaining than most of my meetings.â
Y/N gaped at her. âMeetings?â
Jimin smirked. âWhat, you think mafia bosses just sit around counting money and making threats all day? We have schedules, sweetheart. Agendas. Conference calls.â
Y/N blinked. âYouâre joking.â
âAm I?â Jimin teased, her tone maddeningly vague.
Y/N groaned, flopping onto the bed again. âI give up. Youâre insane.â
âAnd you,â Jimin said, pointing at her with the remains of her sandwich, âare in way over your head. But hey, at least the foodâs decent.â
Y/N didnât reply, opting instead to stare at the ceiling and wonder, for the hundredth time, how her life had spiraled so wildly out of control.
In the corner, Jimin leaned back in her chair, looking entirely too pleased with herself.
--
The early morning sunlight filtered through the grimy motel blinds, but Y/N hadnât slept a wink. She sat cross-legged on the edge of the bed, staring at Jimin, who was peacefully sprawled out in the lone chair, arms crossed and head tilted back as she napped.
âHow is she this calm?â Y/N muttered, her voice barely above a whisper. She clutched her phone, debating what to do. Call the cops? Would they even believe her? âHi, yes, I accidentally kidnapped a mafia boss, can you come pick her up?â Yeah, no.
Jimin stirred, a faint smile playing on her lips as she stretched. âYouâre a loud thinker, you know that?â she murmured without opening her eyes.
Y/N jumped. âHow are you so chill right now? Arenât you supposed to be mad? Or scared? Or... I donât know, plotting your revenge?â
Jimin opened one eye lazily. âMad? No. Scared? Not really. Revenge?â She chuckled, sitting up and fixing Y/N with a playful smirk. âToo much effort. Besides, this whole thing is kind of hilarious.â
Y/N gawked at her. âHilarious? I could go to prison for this!â
âOnly if you get caught,â Jimin replied, brushing invisible lint off her sleeve.
Before Y/N could respond, a low rumble caught her attention. She froze, her ears straining.
âWhat was that?â she whispered.
Jiminâs expression didnât change, but her eyes flicked toward the window. âOh, that? Probably my people.â
Y/N shot to her feet, her heart pounding. âYour people?!â She darted to the window and peeked through the blinds. Sure enough, three black SUVs were pulling into the parking lot, their dark-tinted windows making them look even more menacing.
âOh no, oh no, oh no,â Y/N chanted, pacing in a tight circle. âTheyâre going to kill me. Theyâre going to kill me, and itâs all your fault!â
Jimin stood, stretching leisurely. âMy fault? Youâre the one who kidnapped me, remember?â
Y/N whirled on her, panic in her eyes. âWhat do we do? What do I do? Do I hide? Do I run? Do Iââ
âYou do nothing,â Jimin interrupted smoothly. She walked to the door, cracking her neck like she was preparing for a morning jog.
âWhat do you mean, nothing? Theyâre probably armed! Theyâre going to drag me out of here andâandââ
âRelax.â Jimin turned the lock on the door and opened it wide, stepping out onto the small concrete stoop.
âRelax?! You want me to relax?!â Y/N hissed, peeking out from behind her.
The SUVs parked in a neat row, and the doors swung open in unison. Out stepped several sharply dressed men and women, their expressions grim as they approached.
âBoss,â one of them said, inclining his head respectfully. âAre you okay? Weâve been looking for you all night.â
Jimin crossed her arms and gave them a lazy smile. âIâm fine. Just a minor detour.â
The manâs eyes flicked to Y/N, who was still half-hiding behind the doorframe. His expression darkened. âIs this the... person responsible for your detour?â
Y/N let out a strangled squeak, shrinking back. âI didnât mean to! It was an accident!â
The man took a step toward her, but Jimin held up a hand. âStand down,â she said, her voice calm but commanding.
âBut, bossââ
âStand. Down.â
The man hesitated before nodding and stepping back, though his glare toward Y/N didnât soften.
Y/N blinked, peeking out fully now. âWait, youâre not going to...?â She mimed a vague slicing motion across her neck.
Jimin turned to her, her grin wicked. âNot today.â
âWhy not?!â Y/N blurted before she could stop herself.
Jimin stepped closer, leaning in until her face was just inches from Y/Nâs. Her dark eyes sparkled with mischief as she said softly, âBecause this is way too entertaining.â
Y/Nâs jaw dropped. âEntertaining?! Thatâs why youâre not letting them... themââ
âWhack you?â Jimin supplied helpfully.
âYes!â
Jimin laughed, turning back to her people. âWeâll be leaving soon. Go make yourselves useful.â
The group nodded and retreated back to the SUVs, though not without a few lingering glances at Y/N, who was still frozen in place.
Jimin turned back to her, hands on her hips. âSee? All under control.â
Y/N gaped at her. âYouâre insane.â
Jimin grinned. âTook you this long to figure that out?â
--
The silence in the car was thick, save for the hum of the engine and the occasional squeak of the windshield wipers. Y/N kept her focus glued to the winding road ahead, her fingers gripping the steering wheel so tightly that her knuckles turned white. The events of the last 24 hours were a chaotic blur, but somehow, her current predicament felt even more surreal.
Beside her, Jimin reclined in the passenger seat with an air of complete relaxation. Sheâd kicked off her expensive heels and propped one foot on the dashboard, her other leg crossed lazily over her knee. She looked more like a co-pilot on a carefree road trip than a mafia boss whoâd just been accidentally kidnapped.
"So, this is your grand escape plan?" Jiminâs voice broke the silence, smooth and laced with amusement.
Y/N shot her a side-eye glance. "What are you talking about?"
Jimin gestured vaguely at the carâs interior. "Thisâthis charming rust bucket of yours. Bold choice for a getaway vehicle. Very⊠inconspicuous."
Y/N bristled, her grip on the wheel tightening. "Itâs my car. Not all of us can afford bulletproof limousines and private jets, okay?"
Jimin tilted her head, smirking. "I wasnât judging. It has character. Kind of like you."
"Gee, thanks," Y/N deadpanned, focusing on the road.
After a beat of silence, Jimin began tapping her fingers against the passenger window. "Whatâs with all the fast-food wrappers on the floor? Is this a mobile trash can or a car?"
Y/N gritted her teeth. "Excuse me for not having time to detail it before my accidental kidnapping."
"Touché," Jimin quipped, nodding with mock solemnity.
Y/Nâs patience was wearing thin, but before she could snap, Jimin leaned forward and began fiddling with the ancient radio dials. Static crackled through the speakers.
"Donât touch that!" Y/N swatted Jiminâs hand away, nearly swerving off the road in the process.
"Relax!" Jimin raised her hands in surrender, laughing. "You act like I was going to break it."
"It barely works as it is!" Y/N hissed, steadying the car.
Jimin leaned back in her seat, unbothered, and gave a long, exaggerated sigh. "Do you even have decent music in this thing, or is it just sad pop songs and static?"
"Thatâs it." Y/N glared at her. "New rule: no touching the radio. In fact, donât touch anything."
Jimin smirked. "Kidnapper rules? Thatâs adorable."
"Adorable?" Y/N sputtered. "What about this is adorable?!"
Jimin shrugged, feigning innocence. "Iâm just saying, youâre kind of terrible at this whole kidnapping thing. Itâs almost endearing."
"Endearing?" Y/N echoed, incredulous. She yanked the wheel to make a turn, the car lurching slightly.
Jimin casually braced herself with one hand on the dashboard, the picture of calm. "Well, yeah. Youâre panicking, floundering, and driving like youâre in a driverâs ed class. But youâre trying your best. Itâs cute."
Y/N slapped a hand over her face. "This canât be happening," she muttered to herself.
Jimin reached down and grabbed an open bag of chips from the console, inspecting the label. "Gas station snacks? Really? Do you ever eat anything that wasnât fried in questionable oil?"
"Excuse me for not catering this little adventure!" Y/N snapped, snatching the chips away. "Iâm a regular person, okay? Do mafia bosses usually have Yelp reviews for kidnappings?"
At that, Jimin burst into laughterâa real, genuine laugh that filled the small car. It caught Y/N off guard, and for a split second, she almost smiled. Almost.
"Youâre funny," Jimin said, wiping a tear from the corner of her eye.
"No, Iâm panicking," Y/N corrected, glaring at the road.
Jimin waved her hand dismissively. "Same thing, really. But seriously, youâve got to loosen up. Itâs not like youâre in danger."
Y/N whipped her head around, eyes wide. "Not in danger?! Youâre a mafia boss! There are probably a hundred people looking for you right now, and when they find meâ"
"Theyâre not going to hurt you," Jimin interrupted calmly. "Youâre with me. And besidesâŠ" She leaned closer, her voice dropping to a teasing whisper. "This is way too entertaining."
Y/N stared at her, speechless, before letting out a frustrated groan. "Unbelievable."
Jimin settled back into her seat, a satisfied smirk on her face.
For a while, the only sound in the car was the faint hum of the engine. Y/Nâs irritation simmered as she focused on the road, but she couldnât shake the feeling of being watched. Sure enough, when she glanced over, Jimin was staring at her, her chin resting in her hand.
"What now?" Y/N demanded.
"Just wondering," Jimin mused, her tone playful, "whatâs your next move, kidnapper?"
Y/N blinked, momentarily thrown off. She had no idea. She was completely out of her depth, and it must have shown on her face because Jiminâs smirk widened.
"Thought so," Jimin said with a chuckle.
"Can you stop talking for five minutes?" Y/N snapped.
"Depends," Jimin replied smoothly. "Do you have snacks that arenât chips?"
Y/N groaned, gripping the wheel tighter. "I swear, youâre going to drive me insane before this is over."
"Challenge accepted," Jimin said brightly, popping a chip into her mouth with a grin that was equal parts infuriating and charming.
--
The neon sign of "Dottieâs Diner" flickered against the darkening sky, its hum faintly audible as Y/N begrudgingly parked the car.
âHappy now?â she muttered, turning to Jimin, who was already fixing her hair in the passenger-side mirror.
âFamished, actually,â Jimin replied with a grin, stepping out of the car as if she owned the place.
Y/N followed reluctantly, her nerves on edge as she scanned the small, homey diner. Booths lined the walls, filled with truckers and locals enjoying their meals under dim yellow lights. The smell of frying bacon and freshly baked pie lingered in the air, momentarily soothing Y/N's frazzled mind.
Jimin, however, walked in with the confidence of someone who had never been thrown into a dumpster fire of chaos. She slid into a booth by the window, gesturing for Y/N to join her.
âIâm not hungry,â Y/N grumbled, sitting down anyway.
âThatâs cute,â Jimin said, waving a waitress over. âTwo menus, please.â
The waitress, a middle-aged woman with a friendly smile, handed them menus. Jiminâs demeanor shifted instantly as she flashed the woman a dazzling smile.
âHi, Dottie?â Jimin asked, glancing at the nametag.
âYep, thatâs me!â the waitress replied, beaming.
âLovely diner youâve got here,â Jimin said smoothly. âFeels like home. The kind of place where the food isnât just cookedâitâs made with love.â
Dottie blushed, clearly charmed. âWell, youâre too sweet! What can I get for you?â
âIâll take a cheeseburger, medium rare, with extra pickles, and⊠a slice of your famous apple pie for dessert,â Jimin said. She leaned in slightly, her voice conspiratorial. âI can tell itâs famous. Bet you make it yourself.â
Dottie laughed, waving a hand. âOh, stop. Youâre gonna make me blush.â
âMission accomplished,â Jimin murmured with a wink, handing the menu back.
Y/N gawked at the scene, her mouth slightly ajar, as Dottie turned to her.
âAnd for you, hon?â
âUh⊠grilled cheese and fries, I guess,â Y/N said, shooting Jimin a pointed look.
âComing right up!â
--
The meal arrived quickly, and Y/N had to admit it was better than the gas station chips. Jimin seemed genuinely relaxed, savoring her burger with almost childlike enthusiasm.
âOkay, Iâll give you this,â Y/N admitted, stabbing a fry with her fork. âThis is good.â
âSee?â Jimin said around a mouthful of food. âI know how to pick âem.â
But the peace didnât last long.
The bell over the door jingled, and Y/N glanced up to see a group of men entering the diner. They were dressed in dark jackets, their sharp gazes scanning the room until they landed on Jimin.
Y/N froze, her stomach plummeting. âUh⊠friends of yours?â
Jiminâs face didnât flinch, but her eyes narrowed ever so slightly. âRivals,â she muttered under her breath.
âWhat do we do?â Y/N hissed.
Jimin casually wiped her hands on a napkin, leaning back in her seat. âWe eat.â
âWhatâare you serious?!â
âRelax,â Jimin said, her tone calm but firm. âTheyâre not going to make a scene. Not here.â
But as the men approached their booth, Y/N could feel the tension crackling in the air. One of them, a burly man with a scar across his cheek, stopped just short of their table.
âWell, well,â he said, his voice smooth and mocking. âYu Jimin. Didnât expect to see you slumming it in a place like this.â
âHan,â Jimin said coolly, leaning back in her seat. âWhat a surprise. Iâd offer you a fry, but I donât like sharing.â
Hanâs gaze shifted to Y/N, his smirk widening. âAnd whoâs this? A new recruit? She doesnât look like your type.â
âIâm notââ Y/N began, but Han cut her off.
âSheâs cute,â he said, his tone dripping with condescension. âBit out of your league, though.â
Y/Nâs face flushed, though whether from embarrassment or anger, she couldnât tell. She shot Jimin a nervous glance, but the mafia bossâs expression remained impassive, her fingers drumming lightly on the table.
âLeave her out of this, Han,â Jimin said, her voice low and edged with warning.
Han chuckled. âTouchy, arenât we? Youâre usually better at keeping your cool.â
âDonât push me,â Jimin replied, her tone deadly calm.
Y/N, feeling cornered and frustrated, grabbed her plate of fries and, without thinking, flung it at Hanâs chest.
The diner fell silent as everyone processed what had just happened. A fry slid down Hanâs jacket, leaving a greasy trail in its wake.
âYouâve got to be kidding me,â Jimin muttered, pinching the bridge of her nose.
âOops,â Y/N said weakly.
Hanâs expression darkened, and he reached for Y/N, but Jimin was faster. She grabbed her burger and hurled it at his face.
âGO!â Jimin shouted, dragging Y/N out of the booth as chaos erupted around them.
Plates flew, ketchup bottles exploded, and the entire diner descended into a cacophony of shouting and clattering dishes. Y/N ducked as a slice of pie soared past her head, hitting the wall with a wet splat.
âThis is all your fault!â Y/N yelled as she crouched behind the counter.
âYou started it!â Jimin shot back, grabbing a chair and using it as a shield.
âYou couldâve done something diplomatic!â
âDiplomacy doesnât work on people like Han!â
Hanâs men werenât faring much better, slipping on spilled drinks and dodging flying condiments. Dottie, armed with a rolling pin, chased one of them out the back door.
When the distant wail of sirens became audible, Han growled in frustration. âThis isnât over, Jimin,â he snarled, retreating with his men.
âYeah, yeah,â Jimin called after him. âGo cry about your dry-cleaning bill!â
--
Back in the car, Y/N slammed the door shut and turned to Jimin. âWhat the hell was that?!â
Jimin smirked, brushing a smear of ketchup off her sleeve. âA bonding experience.â
âThat was not bonding!â
âCome on,â Jimin teased. âAdmit itâyou had fun.â
Y/N glared at her, but the corners of her mouth twitched. âYouâre insane.â
âAnd youâre adorable when youâre mad,â Jimin replied, leaning back with a satisfied grin.
Y/N groaned, starting the engine. âI hate you.â
âNo, you donât,â Jimin said, her tone smug.
And as much as Y/N wanted to argue, she didnât.
--
The abandoned warehouse was dimly lit, its broken windows casting scattered rays of moonlight across the dusty floor. Y/N glanced around nervously, her sneakers crunching against shattered glass.
âThis place screams âhorror movie,ââ she muttered, tugging her jacket closer.
âItâs functional,â Jimin replied nonchalantly, already pacing as she dialed her phone. âAnd nobody will find us here, so stop complaining.â
Y/N huffed, leaning against a rusted metal beam. âIâm not complaining. Iâm stating facts. This is where people go to get murdered in every crime show ever.â
Jimin gave her a smirk, holding up a finger as the line connected. She began speaking in rapid Korean, her tone calm yet authoritative.
Y/N squinted, trying to make sense of the conversation. She couldnât understand the words, but Jiminâs voice carried the kind of confidence that only made her more suspicious.
âWhat are you saying?â Y/N whispered. âYouâre not calling someone to kill me, right?â
Jimin raised an eyebrow but didnât respond, continuing her conversation.
Panic bubbled up in Y/Nâs chest. Her eyes darted around the room for a place to hide. Spotting an old crate stacked behind a few barrels, she crouched behind it, clutching a broom she found leaning against the wall.
Jimin glanced over her shoulder mid-conversation, her lips twitching as she noticed Y/Nâs not-so-stealthy retreat.
âYeah,â Jimin said into the phone, her voice deliberately louder. âSheâs a bit of a handful. Might have to deal with her sooner rather than later. You know how liabilities can be.â
Y/Nâs grip on the broom tightened.
âOh, donât worry,â Jimin continued, her tone now dripping with mock seriousness. âIâll take care of it personally. Quiet and clean.â
Y/Nâs eyes widened. Her heart pounded in her chest. She bit her lip to keep from gasping audibly.
Jimin ended the call, slipping her phone into her pocket. âGuess I should get started,â she said to no one in particular, her voice carrying a playful lilt.
That was enough for Y/N. She shot up from behind the crate, wielding the broom like a makeshift sword. âStay back!â she yelled, brandishing it wildly.
Jimin froze, her eyes darting to the broom and then to Y/N. Her expression was unreadable for a moment before her lips curled into a grin.
âWhat are you doing?â Jimin asked, barely holding back laughter.
âDonât act innocent!â Y/N yelled, lunging forward. âI heard you! You were talking about disposing of me!â
Jimin stepped back gracefully, dodging the wild broom swings with infuriating ease. âDisposing of you? Really?â
âDonât play dumb!â
Y/N swung again, but the broomâs bristles hit a low-hanging pipe with a clang. The momentum sent her off balance, and she stumbled forward, landing unceremoniously on the floor with a thud.
Jimin doubled over, laughing so hard she had to clutch her stomach. âOh my god,â she gasped between breaths. âYouâreâ youâre the least threatening kidnapper in history!â
Y/N groaned, her face burning as she scrambled to her feet. âYouâre the least grateful kidnappee in history!â
Jimin wiped a tear from the corner of her eye, still chuckling. âYou really thought I was going to âdisposeâ of you? Thatâs adorable.â
Y/N crossed her arms, glaring at her. âExcuse me for being cautious! Youâre a mafia boss!â
âAnd youâre a terrible judge of tone,â Jimin shot back, smirking.
Realizing how ridiculous the situation was, Y/Nâs glare softened into a reluctant smile. âOkay, maybe I overreacted.â
âMaybe?â
âFine, I overreacted. But you shouldnât mess with me like that!â
Jimin shrugged, still grinning. âIt was too easy. And worth every second.â
Y/N rolled her eyes but couldnât suppress a small laugh. âYouâre impossible.â
âAnd yet, you havenât abandoned me,â Jimin quipped, offering Y/N a hand to steady herself.
For a brief moment, their hands lingered. Y/N quickly pulled away, clearing her throat. âLetâs just focus on not dying tonight, okay?â
âDeal,â Jimin said, the teasing glint in her eyes not fading one bit.
--
The warehouse was eerily quiet, save for the faint hum of the distant city and the occasional rustle of a rat in the shadows. Y/N sat cross-legged on the cold concrete floor, staring blankly at the wrapper of a granola bar sheâd just eaten, her mind still trying to process the last 48 hours. Across the room, Jimin leaned against a tall crate, her face half-illuminated by the flickering overhead light.
The silence stretched between them, awkward and strange. Usually, Jimin would be firing off sarcastic quips or finding creative ways to tease Y/N about her bumbling attempts at âkidnapping.â But tonight, she was uncharacteristically quiet, her expression distant.
Y/N glanced at her, curiosity gnawing at her like a persistent itch. âHey,â she said hesitantly.
Jimin didnât respond.
Y/N cleared her throat, louder this time. âEarth to mafia boss. You okay?â
Jimin blinked as though coming out of a trance. âHmm? Yeah. Fine.â
Y/N frowned, unconvinced. âYou donât look fine. Youâre not even making fun of me right now. Should I be worried?â
That earned a faint chuckle, but it was hollow, lacking its usual bite. Jimin slid down the crate, sitting with her knees pulled up slightly and her arms draped over them. She stared at the floor, tracing invisible patterns with her finger.
âItâs nothing,â Jimin said, her voice quieter than Y/N had ever heard it.
âDoesnât seem like nothing,â Y/N pressed, tilting her head. âI mean, itâs weird seeing you not... smug.â
Jimin glanced at her, a flicker of her usual sass returning. âCareful, you almost sound concerned.â
Y/N shrugged, feigning nonchalance. âHey, youâre my hostage. If somethingâs wrong with you, itâs my responsibility to deal with it.â
Jimin smirked faintly but didnât say anything. The silence settled again, heavier this time.
After a long pause, Jimin finally spoke. âYou ever feel like your whole life is mapped out for you? Like, no matter what you want, it doesnât matter because everyone else has already decided who youâre supposed to be?â
Y/N blinked, caught off guard. âThatâs... oddly specific.â
Jimin let out a dry laugh, shaking her head. âYeah. Welcome to my world.â She rested her head against the crate, her gaze fixed on the flickering lightbulb above. âEveryone thinks being a mafia boss is all power trips and fancy dinners. But itâs not. Itâs exhausting.â
Y/N frowned, shifting her position to sit closer. âExhausting how?â
Jiminâs lips twisted into a bitter smile. âYou think I wanted this? That I woke up one day and said, âYou know what? Iâd love to be surrounded by violence and deceit for the rest of my lifeâ? No. This... position was handed to me. Expected of me.â
Y/Nâs curiosity deepened. âWhy? Family?â
Jimin nodded, her expression darkening. âMy dad was the head before me. And when he was... gone, everyone looked to me to take over. Not because I wanted it, but because I had to. No one else could keep things together.â
Y/Nâs chest tightened. The vulnerability in Jiminâs voice was startling. For the first time since their chaotic âmeeting,â she saw the cracks in Jiminâs carefully constructed persona.
âThatâs a lot to carry,â Y/N said softly.
âYou have no idea.â Jiminâs laugh was sharp, almost self-deprecating. âItâs not just about running things. Itâs about living up to expectations. Keeping people loyal. Pretending youâre invincible even when youâre falling apart inside.â
The weight of her words hung in the air. Y/N didnât know what to say. What could she say?
They sat in silence for a while, the distant city noise filling the void. Finally, Y/N spoke again.
âFor what itâs worth, I think youâre handling it better than I would,â she said, her tone lighter. âIâd probably have a nervous breakdown on day one.â
Jimin looked at her, a genuine smile tugging at the corners of her lips. âOh, trust me, Iâve come close.â
Y/N smiled back, and for a brief moment, the tension between them eased.
Then Jimin, ever the master of ruining heartfelt moments, leaned forward, her smirk returning. âLook at you, caring about your hostage. How cute.â
Y/N groaned, her face heating. âOh my god, donât ruin this.â
âToo late,â Jimin quipped, her tone playful again.
Y/N rolled her eyes but couldnât stop the small laugh that escaped her. âYouâre impossible.â
âAnd yet, youâre still here,â Jimin teased, tilting her head.
âNot by choice!â Y/N shot back, but the humor in her voice betrayed her.
--
The car rattled as Y/N gripped the steering wheel with white-knuckled determination, her eyes darting between the rearview mirror and the road ahead. Behind them, two black SUVs tore through the deserted outskirts of the city, their headlights slicing through the early evening gloom.
âThis is fine. Everythingâs fine,â Y/N muttered to herself, her voice tight with panic.
Jimin, sitting in the passenger seat, leaned back with a bemused expression. Her seatbelt was off, one hand braced casually against the dashboard. âYou know, I was starting to think today would be boring.â
âBoring?!â Y/N shrieked, swerving to avoid a pothole that could have swallowed the car whole. âWeâre being chased by people who probably want to kill us, and youâre calling this boring?â
Jimin shrugged nonchalantly. âWell, itâs not like this is new for me. But youââ She glanced at Y/Nâs trembling hands on the wheel. ââyouâre doing... okay, I guess.â
âOkay?!â Y/N shouted, her voice pitching higher as she narrowly avoided a wooden crate that had inexplicably fallen in the middle of the road.
âRelax, kidnapper. Youâre alive, arenât you?â Jimin smirked, but even she flinched as the pursuing SUVs sped up, now close enough for Y/N to see the shadowy figures inside.
âWhat do they even want?â Y/N hissed, her heart pounding.
âTo kill me, mostly,â Jimin replied casually, leaning over to adjust the air conditioning as though they werenât in a life-or-death situation.
Y/N shot her an incredulous look. âAnd youâre this calm about it?â
Jimin grinned. âWhat can I say? Occupational hazard.â
One of the SUVs pulled up alongside them, and the passenger leaned out of the window with something metallic glinting in his hand.
âIs thatâoh my god, heâs got a gun!â Y/N yelped, jerking the wheel so hard the car veered onto the shoulder.
âYeah, they tend to carry those,â Jimin said dryly, her hand gripping the edge of her seat as the car bounced over uneven terrain.
The SUV swerved to follow them, its tires kicking up a cloud of dust. Jiminâs grin widened as she glanced at the driver. âYou know, for someone who claimed they couldnât drive under pressure, youâre doing pretty well.â
âDonât jinx it!â Y/N snapped, her eyes wild.
Ahead, the road split into two uneven paths: one wide and flat, the other narrow and riddled with sharp turns.
âWhich way?!â Y/N screamed.
Jimin tilted her head, as if considering. âThe fun one.â
Y/N groaned but swerved onto the narrower path, the car nearly tipping as it rounded the first bend. The pursuing SUVs hesitated, their bulkier frames struggling to keep up.
âSee?â Jimin said smugly. âTold you this was better.â
âBetter?!â Y/N shrieked as the car clipped a low-hanging branch, the windshield cracking slightly.
Behind them, one of the SUVs tried to make the same sharp turn but skidded off the road, crashing into a ditch.
âOne down,â Jimin said, her voice tinged with amusement.
The remaining SUV was relentless, its engine roaring as it closed the gap between them. Y/Nâs knuckles were turning an alarming shade of white as she gripped the wheel, her teeth gritted in concentration.
âIâm going to die,â she muttered under her breath. âThis is it. Iâm going to die in a car chase with a mafia boss.â
âYouâre not going to die,â Jimin said, rolling her eyes. âBut if you donât stop panicking, you might get us killed.â
âWow, great pep talk!â
âJust keep driving,â Jimin said, her voice suddenly sharper.
Up ahead, the narrow road gave way to an old wooden bridge that looked like it had seen better centuries.
âUh, Jimin? That bridge doesnât lookââ
âDrive faster,â Jimin cut her off, her tone firm.
âWhat?!â
âJust trust me. Floor it.â
Y/N hesitated for a split second before slamming her foot on the gas. The car surged forward, the engine protesting loudly. The bridge groaned ominously as they sped across it, wooden planks splintering beneath the tires.
The SUV behind them wasnât so lucky. As it barreled onto the bridge, the structure gave way with a deafening crack, sending the vehicle plummeting into the ravine below.
Y/N barely managed to stop the car on the other side, her heart hammering in her chest. She sat frozen, her hands still gripping the wheel like a lifeline.
Jimin, on the other hand, looked utterly unbothered. âSee? Told you it would work.â
Y/N turned to her, her face a mixture of disbelief and fury. âThat was your plan? To trust a hundred-year-old bridge not to kill us?!â
Jimin shrugged. âIt worked, didnât it?â
Y/N let out a strangled scream and buried her face in her hands. âI hate this. I hate this so much.â
Jimin reached over and patted her shoulder, her tone almost soothing. âCheer up, kidnapper. You just survived your first car chase. Iâd say thatâs cause for celebration.â
Y/N groaned loudly, but despite herself, she couldnât help the small, shaky laugh that escaped her.
âYouâre either incredibly lucky or the worst driver alive,â Jimin added with a grin.
Y/N glared at her. âIâll take that as a compliment. Barely.â
Jimin leaned back in her seat, her smirk never fading. âYou should. Youâre still alive, after all.â
For the first time that night, Y/N allowed herself to breathe, the adrenaline slowly draining from her system. But as she glanced at Jimin, lounging like she hadnât just risked both their lives, she couldnât help but think one thing:
How is this my life now?
--
The safe house was little more than a wooden cabin nestled in a dense thicket of trees. Sunlight filtered through the canopy, dappling the ground with patches of gold. Y/N stood on the porch, arms crossed, glaring at Jimin, who was meticulously inspecting a handgun like she was choosing a new accessory.
âThis,â Jimin said, holding up the gun, âis whatâs going to keep you alive if we run into trouble again.â
Y/N snorted. âOr, hear me out, I could just avoid trouble altogether.â
Jimin raised an eyebrow. âSure, because thatâs worked out so well for you so far.â
Y/N opened her mouth to retort but couldnât argue with that point. She sighed dramatically, throwing her hands up. âFine. Teach me. But Iâm telling you right now, Iâm not exactly action-hero material.â
Jimin smirked. âOh, trust me, Iâve noticed.â She handed the gun to Y/N, who held it like it might explode in her hands.
âWhy is it so heavy?â Y/N complained, staring at it like it was an alien artifact.
âItâs a gun, not a plastic toy,â Jimin said, her tone dry. She stepped behind Y/N, adjusting her grip on the weapon. âOkay, first rule: keep your finger off the trigger until youâre ready to shoot.â
Y/N nodded, her finger twitching dangerously close to the trigger.
âOff. The. Trigger,â Jimin repeated, her voice sharp.
âOh, right. Sorry,â Y/N muttered, quickly removing her finger.
Jimin sighed, stepping even closer. She reached around Y/N, her hands guiding Y/Nâs to the proper stance. Y/N froze, hyper-aware of Jiminâs proximity.
âRelax,â Jimin murmured, her breath warm against Y/Nâs ear. âYouâre holding the gun like itâs a bouquet of flowers. Be firm.â
Y/N gulped, trying to focus on anything other than the fact that Jiminâs hands were practically wrapped around hers. âFirm. Got it.â
âNow,â Jimin continued, âaim down the sights. See that tree over there?â She nodded toward a thick oak about twenty yards away.
âYeah,â Y/N said hesitantly.
âShoot it.â
âWait, what?â
âShoot the tree.â
Y/N hesitated, squinting down the sights. She took a deep breath and pulled the trigger.
The gun kicked back with surprising force, and Y/N yelped, stumbling backward into Jimin. The bullet went wide, missing the tree entirely and hitting the dirt several feet away.
âHolyââ Y/N exclaimed, her ears ringing. âWhy didnât you warn me it would do that?!â
Jimin was laughing so hard she had to lean against the porch railing for support. âYouâyour face! I canâtââ
âThis isnât funny!â Y/N snapped, her cheeks burning.
âItâs hilarious,â Jimin said between fits of laughter. âYou almost shot your own foot!â
Y/N glared at her. âMaybe I should shoot your foot.â
Jimin smirked, straightening up. âIf you could aim, maybe Iâd be worried.â
Y/N groaned, thrusting the gun back at her. âThis is pointless. Iâm clearly not cut out for this.â
Jimin shook her head, her expression softening slightly. âYouâre not bad for a beginner. You just need practice.â
âBeginner? I kidnapped you by accident!â Y/N retorted.
âAnd yet here we are,â Jimin said with a smirk. âYouâre not as hopeless as you think, Y/N.â
The unexpected sincerity in her tone caught Y/N off guard. She glanced at Jimin, who was casually inspecting the gun again, as if she hadnât just paid her a compliment.
âOkay, fine,â Y/N said reluctantly. âOne more try.â
Jimin handed the gun back with a grin. âAtta girl. Letâs see if you can hit something this time.â
Y/N took her stance again, this time determined not to make a fool of herself. She focused, aimed, and fired.
The bullet nicked the edge of the tree, sending a small spray of bark flying. Y/N turned to Jimin, her face lighting up with excitement. âDid you see that? I hit it!â
âBarely,â Jimin teased, but there was a glint of approval in her eyes.
âProgress is progress,â Y/N said smugly, puffing out her chest.
Jimin chuckled, shaking her head. âAt this rate, you might actually survive the week.â
Y/N rolled her eyes but couldnât help the small smile tugging at her lips. For the first time since this whole ordeal began, she felt a flicker of confidenceâand maybe, just maybe, a flicker of something else whenever Jimin looked at her like that.
--
The small-town grocery store was quaint, with neatly arranged shelves and soft music playing overhead. Y/N trailed behind Jimin, clutching a shopping basket filled with instant ramen and an assortment of snacks she had hastily grabbed. She felt out of place amidst the mundanity of the store, especially with Jimin confidently striding ahead like she owned the place.
âWhy are we even shopping?â Y/N whispered, her voice barely audible over the faint hum of the refrigerators.
âBecause,â Jimin replied without looking back, âa mafia boss canât survive on gas station chips alone. I have standards.â
Y/N huffed but kept following. It wasnât like she had a choice.
As they reached the frozen foods section, Y/Nâs gaze wandered, and she froze mid-step. Near the entrance, two men in dark suits were browsing the produce aisle. Their stiff postures and sharp looks screamed âmob enforcersâ to her. Her heart rate spiked.
âUh, Jimin,â she hissed, grabbing her arm.
Jimin turned, holding a pint of pistachio ice cream. âWhat?â
âThose guys,â Y/N whispered, tilting her head toward the men. âTheyâre definitely here for us.â
Jimin followed her gaze, her expression unchanging. âRelax,â she said, turning back to the ice cream freezer. âTheyâre not here for you.â
Y/N blinked. âHow do you know that?â
âBecause theyâre not mine,â Jimin replied casually, tossing the ice cream into the basket.
âThat doesnât make me feel better!â Y/N said, her voice rising slightly.
âShh,â Jimin chided, gesturing for her to lower her voice. âIf they were here for you, trust me, you wouldnât even know they were here.â
âThatâs supposed to be comforting?â Y/N demanded, but Jimin was already walking toward the checkout line, completely unbothered.
Unable to shake the feeling of being watched, Y/N kept her head down as she hurried to catch up. She stuck close to Jimin, clutching the basket like a lifeline.
--
Outside the store, the late afternoon sun cast long shadows across the parking lot. Y/N took a deep breath, relieved to be out of the store and away from the men in suits.
âSee?â Jimin said, unlocking the car with a click. âNo one cares about you, Y/N.â
Y/N glared at her. âYou have the worst way of comforting people.â
Jimin smirked, opening the trunk to place their groceries inside. âYouâre welcome.â
Before Y/N could retort, a commotion erupted near the corner of the parking lot. A group of men, shouting angrily, had gathered near a beat-up sedan. One of them shoved another, and it quickly escalated into a full-blown argument.
Y/N instinctively took a step back. âUh, whatâs happening?â
Jimin glanced over, her expression darkening. âRival gang,â she said, her tone clipped.
âAre you serious?â Y/N whispered, her panic rising again.
âStay here,â Jimin ordered, already stepping toward the scene.
âWait, what? No! Donâtââ Y/N started, but Jimin was already halfway there.
Y/N watched as Jimin approached the group with the kind of confidence only someone with her background could muster. The shouting died down as the men noticed her. She said something Y/N couldnât hear, but the tension in the air was palpable.
Y/Nâs nerves were shot. She ducked behind the car, peeking over the hood to keep an eye on Jimin.
Suddenly, one of the men gestured aggressively toward Jimin, and before Y/N knew it, he pulled out a weapon.
Her stomach dropped. Without thinking, Y/N darted out from behind the car. âJimin, look out!â
The manâs focus shifted to Y/N for a split secondâa mistake that gave Jiminâs men, who had been shadowing them unnoticed, the opening they needed. In a matter of seconds, the situation was under control.
Jimin turned to Y/N, her expression unreadable. âWhat the hell are you doing?â she asked, striding toward her.
Y/N stumbled back, her adrenaline wearing off. âIâI thought you needed help.â
Jimin sighed, placing her hands on Y/Nâs shoulders. âYouâre unbelievable.â
âThank you?â Y/N said weakly.
âThat wasnât a compliment,â Jimin said, though there was a flicker of amusement in her eyes.
As they walked back to the car, Jiminâs men cleaned up the mess behind them. Y/N glanced at Jimin, who seemed completely unfazed by what had just happened.
âYouâre insane, you know that?â Y/N muttered, climbing into the car.
Jimin chuckled, sliding into the driverâs seat. âAnd youâre fragile. But,â she added, glancing at Y/N with a small smirk, âthanks for caring.â
Y/N blinked, caught off guard by the sincerity beneath the teasing. She looked away, her cheeks warming.
âWhatever,â she mumbled, but the hint of a smile on her face didnât go unnoticed.
--
The rundown cabin creaked with every slight breeze, its weathered wooden panels making it feel more like a relic than a refuge. Y/N paced the small living area, muttering to herself as Jimin lounged on the rickety couch, legs crossed, looking entirely too comfortable for someone whoâs being hunted by another mafia
âThis doesnât make any sense,â Y/N said, running a hand through her hair. âWhy are you so... so calm about all this? Why are you still acting as if you couldnât leave at any moment?â
Jimin smirked, tilting her head as if Y/N had just asked the most obvious question in the world. âMaybe Iâm just waiting for the right moment to take over.â
Y/N froze mid-step, turning to glare at Jimin. âWhatâs that supposed to mean?â
Jimin shrugged, the smirk widening. âMaybe Iâm just letting you tire yourself out, running around like a headless chicken. When the time comes, Iâll strike.â
âYouâre bluffing,â Y/N said, though her voice wavered slightly.
âAm I?â Jimin leaned forward, resting her chin on her hand. The glint in her eyes was both playful and mischievous.
Y/N swallowed hard. âWell, weâll see about that,â she muttered, marching toward the cabin door.
The next hour turned into a chaotic game of cat-and-mouse. Y/N, determined to keep Jimin from pulling any tricks, began âfortifyingâ the cabin. She locked every door and window, stacking random furniture against entryways and fashioning makeshift traps out of whatever she could find.
âAre you seriously barricading me in?â Jimin called from the couch, watching Y/N pile chairs against the front door.
âYouâre not taking over anything on my watch,â Y/N retorted, dragging a heavy cabinet toward the back door.
Jimin chuckled, standing up and effortlessly unlocking the window Y/N had just secured. âYou know, for someone who kidnapped me, youâre really bad at containment.â
Y/N spun around. âHey! I just locked that!â
âOops.â Jimin gave her an innocent look, slowly closing the now-unlocked window.
Y/N groaned, throwing her hands in the air. âYouâre impossible.â
âAnd youâre adorable when youâre frustrated,â Jimin quipped, dodging a throw pillow Y/N hurled at her.
--
After the so-called fortification, Y/N decided chores were a safer distraction. She swept the dusty floors while Jimin, much to her own amusement, insisted on helping.
âFine,â Y/N sighed, handing Jimin a dish towel. âYou can dry the dishes. Think you can handle that without breaking anything?â
Jimin gave an exaggerated gasp. âWow. Such faith in me, Y/N. Iâm touched.â
It took less than two minutes for her to shatter a glass plate.
âAre you serious?â Y/N asked, staring at the shards on the floor.
âIt slipped,â Jimin said, looking entirely unbothered as she picked up the larger pieces. âIâll deduct it from your kidnapping ransom.â
âRansom?â Y/Nâs voice rose an octave. âThere is no ransom! Thatâs not how this works!â
Jimin smiled sweetly. âOh, I know. But itâs fun to watch you freak out.â
Y/N groaned, returning to sweeping.
--
Later, Jimin volunteered to make toast for a snack. Y/N hesitantly agreed, keeping a watchful eye as Jimin fiddled with the toaster.
âJimin, itâs not that complicated,â Y/N said when Jimin kept inspecting the buttons like she was defusing a bomb.
âLet me work my magic,â Jimin replied confidently.
Moments later, smoke began billowing from the toaster.
âMagic, huh?â Y/N coughed, fanning the air with her hand. âWhat did you do?â
Jimin pulled out two charred slices of bread, holding them up like trophies. âI call it âMafia Blackened Toast.â Itâs a delicacy.â
Y/N snorted despite herself, shaking her head. âYouâre unbelievable.â
Jimin grinned. âYouâre laughing. Thatâs progress.â
--
The final straw came when Jimin somehow managed to lock herself in the bathroom.
âY/N!â she called through the door, her voice a mix of annoyance and amusement.
âWhat now?â Y/N shouted back, approaching the bathroom.
âI think the lockâs broken.â
Y/N stared at the door. âHow did you even manage that? Itâs a basic latch!â
âTalent,â Jimin said, deadpan.
Y/N sighed, grabbing a bobby pin and working the lock open. When the door finally swung ajar, Jimin stood there, looking sheepish.
âThanks, kidnapper,â she said with a wink.
Y/N couldnât help itâshe laughed.
Jimin leaned against the doorframe, watching her. âSee? I told you Iâd grow on you.â
Y/N rolled her eyes but couldnât hide the small smile tugging at her lips. âYouâre lucky youâre funny.â
Jimin grinned. âAnd lucky Iâm charming.â
âDonât push it,â Y/N said, brushing past her.
But as Jimin followed, humming a little tune, Y/N couldnât shake the warmth blooming in her chest. Maybe this whole accidental kidnapping wasnât entirely terrible.
--
The lake near the cabin shimmered under the fading sunlight, its surface reflecting hues of gold and amber. Y/N leaned against a tree, staring out at the water as Jimin skipped stones effortlessly, each one gliding across the surface with perfect precision.
âOf course, youâre good at this too,â Y/N muttered, crossing her arms.
Jimin glanced back at her, smirking. âJealousy doesnât suit you, kidnapper. Want me to teach you?â
Y/N snorted. âNo, thanks. Iâll leave the stone-skipping expertise to you, your majesty.â
Jimin chuckled and threw another stone, watching it bounce five times before sinking. âSuit yourself.â
The quiet between them wasnât awkwardâjust the kind of calm that sneaks in when two people have been through too much together to need constant conversation. Y/N fiddled with a loose thread on her shirt, glancing at Jimin when she thought she wouldnât notice.
It was annoying, really. The way Jiminâs hair caught the light. The way her smirk softened when she thought no one was looking. The way she made Y/Nâs heart race for absolutely no good reason.
âWhy are you so quiet all of a sudden?â Jimin asked, breaking the silence. She turned around, raising an eyebrow at Y/N. âPlotting your next terrible kidnapping strategy?â
Y/N rolled her eyes. âYouâre never going to let me live that down, are you?â
âNot a chance.â Jimin grinned, brushing her hands on her jeans before walking over. âCome on. Youâre not sulking, are you?â
âIâm not sulking!â Y/N snapped, a bit too quickly.
Jimin leaned closer, narrowing her eyes. âYou sure about that?â
Y/N sighed, rubbing the back of her neck. âIâm just... thinking.â
âDangerous territory for you,â Jimin teased, sitting down beside her.
âDo you always have to be such a pain?â Y/N muttered, though her tone lacked any real bite.
âItâs one of my many charms.â Jimin flashed her a dazzling smile before leaning back on her hands, looking at Y/N out of the corner of her eye. âSo, whatâs got you so deep in thought?â
Y/N hesitated, debating whether to play it off with sarcasm or just say what was on her mind. Against her better judgment, the words spilled out before she could stop them.
âI... I kind of enjoy this. Being around you, I mean.â
The confession hung in the air, and Y/N immediately regretted it. Her cheeks burned, and she avoided Jiminâs gaze, suddenly very interested in the pattern of the dirt at her feet.
There was a beat of silence, then: âWait, what?â
Y/N groaned, burying her face in her hands. âForget I said anything.â
âOh, no way.â Jiminâs voice was laced with amusement as she scooted closer. âDid you just admit you like my company?â
âNo!â Y/N shot back, face still hidden. âI meanâmaybe. I donât know! Forget it!â
Jimin laughed, the sound warm and uncharacteristically soft. âThis is gold. Are you falling for your hostage, Y/N?â
Y/N finally looked up, glaring at her. âCould you not?â
But the glare didnât land, not with the way her face was flushed and her expression was more flustered than intimidating.
Jiminâs teasing smirk faltered for a moment as she saw the genuine embarrassment in Y/Nâs eyes. Her voice softened. âHey, relax. Iâm just messing with you.â
Y/N huffed, looking away. âYouâre impossible.â
âI know,â Jimin said, nudging her shoulder. âBut for what itâs worth... I like you too.â
Y/N froze, whipping her head around to stare at her. âYouâyou do?â
âObviously,â Jimin said, the smirk returning. âWhy else would I stick around with the worldâs most incompetent kidnapper?â
Y/N blinked, processing the words before shaking her head. âYouâre unbelievable.â
âUnbelievably charming, you mean.â
Y/N laughed despite herself, leaning back against the tree with a sigh. âYouâre lucky youâre cute.â
âI could say the same about you,â Jimin replied, her voice softer now. She glanced at Y/N, a flicker of something more serious in her gaze. âThanks for... being you.â
Y/N felt her heart skip a beat but managed to play it off with a laugh. âDonât get all mushy on me now.â
Jimin grinned, picking up a stone and tossing it into the water. âWouldnât dream of it, kidnapper.â
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the lake in hues of orange and pink, the two sat in comfortable silence. For once, neither was running, hiding, or panicking. It was just them, and that was enough.
--
Y/N sat cross-legged on the creaky floor of the rundown cabin, her phone balanced precariously on her knee. The screen was filled with a YouTube tutorial titled âHow to Build a Fire Without Burning Down the House.â
âStep one,â Y/N muttered to herself, âgather dry wood.â She glanced out the window where Jimin had wandered off into the woods, promising to find firewood. Y/N still wasnât sure why Jimin insisted on making this place âcozy,â but it was a rare moment of normalcy. Well, as normal as things could get with your accidentally kidnapped mafia boss.
She glanced at the clock on her phone. Jimin had been gone longer than expected.
Before she could worry too much, the cabin door burst open with a deafening crack.
Y/N froze, her phone clattering to the floor as several men in dark suits stormed inside. Their cold glares swept over the room before locking onto her.
âWhereâs Jimin?â one of them demanded, his voice sharp and dangerous.
Y/Nâs mind raced, heart pounding in her chest. What the hell?
âUhâŠâ She looked around frantically, as if Jimin might magically appear. âSheâs, um, not here?â
The man stepped closer, clearly unimpressed with her answer. âWe know sheâs been hiding out with you. Where is she?â
âOut getting firewood?â Y/N blurted, immediately regretting her honesty.
The men exchanged glances before one of them grabbed her arm. âLetâs go.â
âWait, hold on! I canât leaveâI was about to start a fire!â Y/N protested, struggling as they dragged her toward the door. âThis is illegal, you know! Kidnapping is illegal!â
One of the men smirked. âYouâd be surprised what we get away with.â
--
The room was dimly lit, with bare concrete walls and a single flickering bulb overhead. Y/N sat tied to a chair in the center, her wrists bound tightly with scratchy rope. Around her loomed several intimidating figures, their eyes cold and unrelenting. Leading the pack was Han, the rival bossâtall, sharply dressed, and annoyingly smug.
Han leaned casually against the table in front of her, studying her with a faint smile that sent shivers down Y/Nâs spine. Not because he was intimidating, but because of the unsettling mix of curiosity and amusement in his gaze.
âSo,â Han began, his voice smooth and almost friendly, âwe meet again, Y/N.â
Y/N glared at him, trying to suppress her nerves. âYeah, hi. Nice to see you too. Could you maybe not tie me up next time?â
Han chuckled, brushing an invisible speck of lint off his sleeve. âThat depends. Will you stop harboring my rival?â
ïżœïżœIâm not harboring her!â Y/N snapped. âThis whole thing is a misunderstanding!â
âSure it is.â Han leaned in slightly, his smile widening. âYou know, Iâve been thinking about you since our little diner encounter. Youâre quite... captivating.â
Y/N blinked, caught off guard. âCaptivating?â
Han nodded. âItâs not every day someone manages to kidnap Yu Jimin and live to tell the tale. I find that intriguing.â
âGreat. Maybe write a book about it and let me go?â
Han laughed softly, ignoring her sarcasm. âYouâre bold, Iâll give you that.â He gestured to one of his men. âLetâs try this again. Where is Jimin?â
Y/Nâs heart pounded as the burly man approached, his expression menacing. âI donât know!â she blurted. âShe doesnât tell me anything! Iâm justââ She hesitated, realizing the truth wouldnât exactly help her case. ââan innocent bystander!â
Han raised an eyebrow, his skepticism clear. âInnocent? You were practically glued to her side at that diner. Donât play coy, Y/N. It doesnât suit you.â
âOkay, first of all, rude,â Y/N shot back. âSecond, if I knew where she was, do you think Iâd be here?â
Han tilted his head thoughtfully. âFair point. But you must know something.â
Y/N hesitated, wracking her brain for anything that might satisfy him without throwing Jimin under the bus. âUh... she likes espresso?â
Hanâs smile twitched.
âShe hates bad Wi-Fi?â Y/N continued weakly.
One of Hanâs men snorted before quickly disguising it as a cough.
âEnough games.â Hanâs voice dropped, and his eyes darkened. He stepped closer, his proximity making Y/Nâs stomach churn with unease. âTell me where she is, or things will get... unpleasant.â
Y/N stared back at him, her heart hammering. She didnât have a plan, and she definitely didnât have the information he wanted. âI donât know where she is!â she insisted. âShe left me at the cabin to get firewood, and then you showed up!â
Hanâs smile returned, softer this time but no less unsettling. âYou know, youâre quite charming when youâre flustered.â
Y/N gaped at him. âWhat?â
âRelax,â Han said, straightening up. âWeâre not going to hurt you. Yet.â He turned to his men. âKeep her comfortable. I need to make some calls.â
âComfortable?â Y/N echoed as Han began to walk away. âIâm tied to a chair in a dungeon!â
Han glanced back over his shoulder, a smirk playing on his lips. âSome people pay good money for that experience.â
Y/N groaned, slumping against her restraints. âJimin, if you donât show up soon, I swear Iâll haunt you if I die.â
--
Jimin trudged through the woods, her arms full of firewood. Sheâd been taking her time, enjoying the peace and quiet, when she noticed the cabin door wide open.
Her brow furrowed as she stepped inside, instantly taking in the signs of a struggleâthe overturned chair, the broken lamp, and the distinct lack of one panicked kidnapper.
âY/N?â she called, dropping the firewood. Silence greeted her.
Jiminâs jaw tightened, her calm demeanor slipping as worry took hold. She pulled out her phone, dialing a number. âGet everyone together,â she barked when the line connected. âWeâve got a problem.â
--
Han came back to the room, regarding Y/N with that maddening smirk, as though the entire ordeal was just a game to him. âYouâre quite the enigma, you know,â he said, his tone almost conversational.
Y/N glared at him, hiding her fear behind a wall of sarcasm. âAnd youâre quite the creep. Can we skip to the part where you untie me and let me go?â
Han chuckled, pushing off the table and stepping closer. âYouâve got spirit. I like that.â
Y/N rolled her eyes. âFantastic. Add it to my Yelp review after this is over.â
His smile widened as he crouched in front of her, his gaze piercing. âYouâre bold. But I wonder... is that bravery, or are you just pretending not to be terrified?â
Y/N swallowed hard, refusing to let him see how much his words unsettled her. âWhy donât you untie me and find out?â
Hanâs eyes glimmered with amusement. âTempting.â He stood, turning to his men. âIâll as you one last time. Where is Jimin?â
Y/N pressed her lips together, weighing her options. She didnât know where Jimin was right now, but she couldnât exactly say that without giving away too much. âSheâs... sheâs not coming for me,â she blurted.
Han arched an eyebrow. âOh? Thatâs interesting, considering how quickly she showed up the last time you were in danger.â
âIâm just some random nobody,â Y/N said, trying to sound convincing. âWhy would she risk herself for me?â
Han studied her for a moment, then leaned back against the table. âYou know, Y/N, I almost believe you. Almost.â
He reached into his jacket, pulling out a sleek, black pistol. The sight of it made Y/Nâs stomach drop.
Han twirled the gun lazily in his hand, his eyes never leaving hers. âHereâs the thing. Jimin has a soft spot for lost causes. Itâs one of her flaws. So, either youâre lying to protect her, or sheâs already on her way.â He pointed the gun at her, his voice dropping to a chilling calm. âLetâs find out which.â
Y/N froze, her pulse thundering in her ears. Her bravado cracked under the weight of the cold barrel aimed at her chest. âW-wait!â she stammered. âYou donât have to do this!â
âRelax,â Han said, smiling faintly. âIâm just testing a theory.â
Before he could say another word, the door to the hideout slammed open. The loud crack echoed through the room, and everyone turned to see Jimin standing in the doorway, flanked by her men. Her sharp suit was pristine, her expression cold as ice.
âDrop it, Han,â she said, her voice cutting through the tension like a blade.
Hanâs smirk returned as he turned toward her. âRight on time, as always, Jimin.â
Jiminâs eyes flicked to Y/N, tied up and terrified, and her jaw tightened. âLet her go.â
Han tilted his head, feigning innocence. âWhy so serious? We were just having a friendly chat.â
âFunny,â Jimin said, taking a step forward. âFrom where Iâm standing, it looks like youâre holding a gun to her chest.â
Hanâs smile turned predatory as he shifted his aim, pressing the barrel to Y/Nâs temple. Y/N gasped, her eyes wide with fear.
âCareful, Jimin,â Han warned. âOne wrong move, and this could get messy.â
Jiminâs expression didnât waver, but her hands curled into fists at her sides. âYouâre making a mistake, Han.â
âAnd youâre predictable,â Han countered. âAlways so quick to play the hero. Tell me, Jimin, whatâs this girl to you? A pawn? A distraction?â
Jiminâs gaze darkened, her voice dropping to a dangerous calm. âSheâs mine.â
Han chuckled, amused by her response. âYours, huh? Well, then, I suppose this is personal.â
The room seemed to hold its breath as the standoff stretched. Then, in a flash, Jimin moved. She lunged forward with a speed that left Hanâs men scrambling. Her hand struck the gun, knocking it away just as it fired, the deafening crack echoing through the space.
Y/N screamed, flinching as the bullet lodged harmlessly into the wall behind her.
Jimin didnât stop. She delivered a swift, brutal punch to Hanâs jaw, sending him reeling. The room erupted into chaos as her men stormed in, engaging Hanâs goons in a flurry of fists and shouts.
Y/N struggled against her bonds, panic and adrenaline coursing through her veins. Jimin, mid-fight, caught sight of her and called out, âHold on! Iâm coming!â
In one fluid motion, Jimin grabbed a discarded knife and sliced through the ropes binding Y/N. âAre you okay?â she asked, her voice tight with concern.
Y/N nodded shakily. âYeah. Letâs get out of here.â
Jimin grabbed her hand, pulling her toward the exit as the fight continued to rage behind them.
--
Outside, the cool night air hit them like a slap. Y/N leaned against the side of a car, trying to catch her breath.
âThat was... intense,â she managed, her voice trembling.
Jimin placed a hand on her shoulder, her expression softening for the first time. âYouâre safe now.â
Y/N looked up at her, her heart still racing. âYou came for me.â
âOf course I did,â Jimin said, her tone almost offended. âNobody touches my kidnapper but me.â
Y/N huffed a laugh, tears prickling her eyes. âYouâre ridiculous.â
âAnd youâre reckless,â Jimin countered, her lips curving into a faint smirk. âBut... Iâm glad youâre okay.â
The moment hung between them, charged with unspoken tension, until Jimin finally pulled away, her cool facade slipping back into place.
âCome on,â she said, helping Y/N into the car. âLetâs get out of here before Han decides to get back up.â
As they sped away, Y/N couldnât help but glance at Jimin, her heart tugging in a way she wasnât ready to admit.
--
The apartment was a mess, as always. Y/Nâs shoes were haphazardly kicked off by the door, her jacket draped over the back of a chair, and the lingering smell of half-eaten takeout filled the space. Jimin, however, didnât seem to mind. She leaned casually against the wall, her suit slightly disheveled from the eveningâs chaos but still managing to look effortlessly put together.
Y/N paced back and forth in the small living room, her nerves still frayed. âWhat were you thinking?â she demanded, pointing a finger at Jimin. âYou couldâve been killed back there!â
Jimin arched an eyebrow, her arms crossed over her chest. âI wasnât the one tied to a chair, sweetie.â
âThatâs not the point!â Y/N snapped, spinning to face her. âYou didnât have to risk yourself like that. You shouldâve justâjust let me handle it!â
Jiminâs smirk deepened, amusement flickering in her eyes. âHandle it? You mean when you were about to get shot? Great plan, Y/N. Truly inspiring.â
Y/N groaned, running a hand through her hair. âI mean it, Jimin. You donât get to just... swoop in and play hero like that. Iâm notââ She faltered, her voice softening. âIâm not worth losing yourself over.â
Jimin pushed off the wall, her expression shifting to something softer, more serious. âDonât say that.â
Y/N looked away, her arms wrapping around herself. âWhy not? Itâs true. Iâm just some random nobody who accidentally kidnapped you. You couldâve walked away at any time, but instead, youâre... youâre doing all this. Why?â
Jimin stepped closer, her heels clicking softly against the worn floorboards. âYouâre not nobody,â she said quietly, her voice carrying a rare sincerity.
Y/Nâs breath caught as Jimin reached out, gently tilting her chin up so their eyes met. âI donât care how we started. What matters is where we are now,â Jimin continued, her gaze intense. âAnd right now, youâre the only thing I care about.â
The weight of her words hung in the air, and for a moment, neither of them moved. Then, as if drawn by some unspoken pull, Jimin leaned in and kissed her.
It was tender at first, a soft brush of lips that sent a shiver down Y/Nâs spine. But it quickly deepened, Jiminâs hands sliding to Y/Nâs waist as she pulled her closer. Y/Nâs heart raced, her hands tentatively finding their way to Jiminâs shoulders.
When they finally broke apart, both of them breathless, Jimin smirked down at her. âSo,â she murmured, her voice low and teasing, âstill think youâre the one in charge here?â
Y/N blinked up at her, dazed. âIâwhat?â
Jimin chuckled, stepping back just enough to lean against the edge of the table. âYou kidnapped me, remember? Isnât the kidnapper supposed to be in charge?â
Y/Nâs cheeks flushed, a mix of embarrassment and exasperation. âYouâre impossible.â
âAnd yet, here we are,â Jimin quipped, her smirk softening into a genuine smile.
Y/N rolled her eyes but couldnât help the small laugh that escaped her. âFine. You win.â
Jimin tilted her head, feigning surprise. âOh, was there ever any doubt?â
Y/N groaned, but the warmth in her chest betrayed her frustration. She shook her head and sighed. âAlright, Mafia Boss. What now?â
Jimin straightened, her smile taking on a mischievous edge. âNow? We figure out how to make this work.â
Y/N blinked. âThis?â
âThis,â Jimin repeated, gesturing between them. âYou. Me. Us.â
Y/Nâs heart skipped a beat at the casual confidence in her words. âYouâre serious?â
Jimin leaned in again, her smirk returning. âDo I look like someone who does things halfway?â
Y/N swallowed hard, a mix of excitement and terror bubbling in her chest. âYouâre insane,â she muttered.
Jimin chuckled, her voice warm. âYouâre not wrong.â
With that, she grabbed Y/Nâs hand, pulling her toward the couch. âCome on, kidnapper. Letâs order takeout and figure out what the hell weâre doing.â
Y/N let herself be pulled along, a smile creeping onto her face despite herself. Maybe, just maybe, she could handle a little insanity if it meant keeping Jimin around.

Hi can you do a smut with CEO! Karina and female! reader who is her secretary ?
Karina x Reader
Chinese couch
Late nights.
It was starting to feel a little bit too usual for Jimin to work until night lately. Being the CEO of a worldwide renowned company for sure comes with the prerogative but it was slowly messing with her sleep schedule and nothing good happens when Jimin is sleep deprived.
As her assistant you witnessed it all, her temper slowly getting worst and worst, the number of people getting fired slowly rising up.
Usually you wouldn't say anything, afraid to loose your job and even more afraid to face an angry Karina but it's been days and you're slowly feeling responsible.
It might be a tiny bit because of the S.O.S. looks from all the people getting kicked out that pass by your desk everyday.
Anyway you figured out you might as well try to calm your boss down before becoming the very last person employed here.
So when the clock hit nine, you made your way to her office. Stopping right in front of the door, contemplating whether you should enter or not. After building up the courage, you finally decided to knock.
But of course the door opened wide right when you were about to, revealing your boss in all of her intimidating self. Her face only a few inches away from yours.
"Please tell me you weren't coming to tell me some bad news, because I swear I'm gonna kill myself if anything goes sideways again."
You couldn't help but chuckle a bit at her frown but were fast to remember she was your boss.
"No actually I was coming to ask you if you'd like to eat with me, I'm ordering."
For a second there Jimin was bewildered, not expecting the offer but she was fast to put on her serious face.
"I don't have time to eat I have better things to do."
She was about to go back to her office when you suddenly grabbed the door keeping it opened.
"Chinese it is."
You don't know what's gotten into you, it's like you're trying to get fired.
Karina stared right at you for a minute, probably waiting for you to back down but you didn't.
"Fine."
And with those words she went back inside letting you choose what to order. You settled for a restaurant that was just down the street, hoping it would be delivered faster.
Sadly it didn't, you waited for almost an hour at your desk before the delivery guy came up.
You went to Karina's door knocking on it carefully, not wanting to interrupt a phone call.
Even though you got no answer you pushed the door opened, after all you did warned her you'll be treating her food.
When you entered the room you were surprised not to find your boss in her chair where she would always sit.
She was laying down on her luxurious couch, she probably got too tired to notice she was falling asleep before it was too late.
You set the food on the table before shaking her shoulder to wake her up but it didn't work.
She did not move nor did she said anything. She actually remained so still that for a second you wondered if she might have passed out of exhaustion.
It's only when you got close to her face to see if she was breathing that she suddenly opened her eyes.
"Getting comfortable there I see, you should have told me you weren't talking about food when you ask me for dinner."
You frowned not knowing what she meant until you took a closer look at your position noticing how you were pretty much all over her.
You took a step back and an other just to be sure.
"Excuse me for checking if my boss is still alive."
You tried to play it cool but you knew you were blushing at this point so you turned your back at her to hide your embarrassment.
Her face closed up, the movement upsetting her. She took a hold of your waist, turning you around and getting insanely close to you.
"Don't ever turn your back on me like that."
Once again you don't know what went on your mind because for some reason you couldn't help but to provoke her.
"Thought you liked my backside."
She stare at you before answering.
"Careful sweetheart, I don't like brats."
As you were about to argue back she shut you up, kissing you hard, her teeth sinking into your bottom lip so she could have access to your tongue.
As much as you'd like to resist her, you've been waiting for her to make a move on you forever so you weren't going to back down now.
So you kissed her back, pushing her back to the couch where she has been sleeping except now you were on top of her, kissing her neck.
You would've continued if it wasn't for her switching positions.
"I'm on top."
You couldn't careless all you wanted to do was for her to kiss you right now.
"Stop talking and start kissing."
And so she did, trailing her kisses down your neck to your breast, getting rid of your top on the way.
She cupped your mount, tasting them and playing with your nipples as you tugged on her hair asking for more.
You might have marks of her lips tomorrow because of how hungrily she was kissing every inch of your skin.
As she was kissing your lips again you decided to stop her.
"Wait, let's eat."
Jimin looked at you with confusion in her eyes.
"What do you mean 'let's eat' ? What do you think I was about to do ?"
She was now clearly frustrated as you sat up on the couch ans started unpacking your order.
"You need to eat, you haven't even eaten lunch today."
"Who cares ?"
Seeing her frustration wasn't getting to you she changed tactics, brushing her hand on your thigh and kissing your neck.
It was indeed tempting but as you let out a content sigh, you broke contact.
"Eat your food and maybe you'll have dessert."
