Hoo boy. Basically funa/dsp made two Twitter/X posts regarding the allegations against them, which I think we all know at this point. The first post was defending their old Yume Nikki fanart, which was in part said to be from when they were a minor. They also mentioned their use of the Rising Sun flag, which they claimed to be of no ill intent as the flag is still used in Japan in some festivals, disconnected from its political meaning (which I can at least say that much is factually true, it is indeed present in some festivals still). The second post went into the…unsavory subject matter of their content, in which they kind of just…didn’t address anything? They just said “if you don’t like it, block me” and went on to say they plan on stopping all production of content for foreign/western audiences. That’s the gist of it.

scion means a young shoot of a plant or a descendent of a family.

Himeko was associated with fire and used her life and the Core of Fire (the Gem of Haste) to give Kiana a chance to live her life.

Flamescion means she’s Himeko’s heir, and it also has the added bonus of specifying that she isn’t just the Herrscher of Flame (since that form took multiple cores).

I am a bit confused on the herrscher names like why is a herrscher with the power of creation called the herrscher of reason/truth?

Contextual symbolism and catchyness I guess?

Besides why is Mei called the Herrscher of Thunder when her power is to control electromagnetic fields? Thunder is a sound!

Hi Jack! I just got these from my local pasar malam last night and after searching online for what they might be, I think the bottom right is an aeonium decorum? But aside from that, what are the others? And how do I care for them? Thanks!

Hello Joanne, you are right about the aeonium decorum. I am not sure what’s the ID for the succulent on top, but the bottom left one is a Delosperma echinatum. I have never grown the one on top but for the bottom two, as far as I know they need plenty of sunlight and good ventilation. Decorum is very prone to rotting and the Echinatum cannot take too much direct afternoon sunlight.
