Your mirror in the world . If it’s true what the wise ones say, that you are always seeing your own reflection in the world, then I must be doing something right. . Getting to spend time with Yvette was one of the rare times where I feel utterly at peace. Mind you that I still wished I could be a little different, a little more like what I saw in her: being able to see things with such quiet certainty. Funny, this, coming from someone who thinks of herself as quiet 😊 . Next to her, I saw myself striving and quite chaotic inside, not quite where I want to be yet. So much to do, so much to try, so much to change! I could see the mounds of old wants I’ve accumulated over the years getting in my way. It wasn’t a distressing weight but still, I saw that I could learn to just breathe and be lighter. Just be. . Well, there’s nowhere else I can be but where I am, but what I saw in my world during my time with Yvette tells me that I’m doing okay. . Thank you @yvettemoyaangeler for everything! . PS. Yup, this is what we did mostly: taking pictures of seemingly nothing with our phones. She made beautiful pictures of light.
