One of the best things that happened to me this SDCC is I got to see, The Pillows play live here in my hometown of SD at Comic Con! Music behind the fantastic Japanese animation of FLCL “Fooly Cooly” featured on Adult Swim’s Toonami. The show was aired back in 2003 here in the US. Although the show was a short series, it meant a lot to high schoolers; such as myself at the time growing up, figuring out life, and puberty. Even when I hear The Pillows now it inspires me to remember my child dreams and keep pushing forward. The band in person sounded awesome live, they are very kind, and passionate about there music. Excited that Adult Swim/Toonami has convinced Production I.G. to continue the FLCL series story telling more crazy adventures AND! Bringing back The Pillows to play the music for season 2 & 3 of FLCL.
